Paula was getting worse at the cold conditions the group were going through on the mountain, but she refused to show negative emotions. But at this rate, one by one the group will freeze to death...Is this really the end of Paula Polestar? No...It's not, because a strong wind soon hit her. "More wind?" Paula said In surprise as a bottle quickly came out of her pocket...And hit her mouth, she quickly drink the contents of the bottle before taking It out.

It was the mega elixir, she bought this before the group was about to climb out the mountain. Upon drinking the bottle, Paula felt herself getting better from the damage she got from the mission so far and a few seconds later, she felt as good as new. "I'm...Back to normal again, this bottle really did help." Paula said as she looked down at Cynder. "Thanks for helping me get warm Cynder, I have high hope's that Spyro Is safe and sound somewhere." Paula said as she turned towards Iris and Dragonite.

The two were talking about a cute dragon belonging to someone named Cynthia. "Cynthia, Is she a really great dancer?" Paula said to the two as she looked at the caves, she wondered how Frost was doing with her search and so she tried to send a message to the Pocket Monster to check on It, while she put the now empty bottle back Into her pocket. "The bottle might help for later." Paula said to the group as she sent her message.

"How Is the search going along Frost...Found anything so far?"


While sending the message Paula aimed upward to see If her flame was strong enough to see anything around the mountain.

Frost looked around the inners of the mountain and marked off several locations of caves. They did not seem to be of much use to the group but making quick mental notes helped to narrow down his search. After all, he only had a bit more time to search the area. Now that he did some quick search to narrow down possible locations though, it was time to do a much more precise search.

The ghostly dog like creature passed through more of the cave as he continued his search for that cave. This time he was being much more narrow in searching and focusing on soley the area that would help. As he soared through the cave faces, he heard a voice enter his head. An outsider's voice but Land and Sky confirmed who it was. "I would appreciate no distractions in my search. Only call me if there is an emergency. I will alert you if I find something," He relayed rather coldly. He ignored how she knew his identity out of seemingly nowhere. He was focused and taking his mission seriously. Now, time to continue that search...

Her lips curled faintly into a smile with Iris' supportive comments to the group. Such a light-hearted girl. Cynder was a little jealous of the cheery mindset of the dragon tamer, able to put aside the biting cold and probable danger they were all in with casual conversation. She quietly admitted to herself that Iris' uplifting voice did have a way of making her feel a little better about the situation but the weight of this treacherous mountain was still ever present.

That weight however only continued to get lighter when Paula took a swig of a rejuvenating potion, thawing her bones and healing up the damage the hungry wolves had done. Cynder herself shivered from another slap of wind coursing over them all but thankfully it was still helped by the two sticking close together.
"Oh good, I was... a bit worried," she hesitatingly replied to the psychic. "It's probably best we still stick together though. The wind isn't like to let up anytime soon." Was was going to give the girl a little nudge of encouragement to move a bit quicker through the growing snowstorm but noticed Paula raised her hands a bit and appeared to be intensely scanning the area. It seemed both Paula and Shaymin figured it the best plan to begin searching for some shelter.

With a quiet sigh Cynder decided to help in that regard, since she wasn't about to shuffle along without her warm buddy.

Iris considered Paula's question for a moment. "Dancer..?" she asked, somewhat bemused by the seeming randomness of the question. Yet, of course, the answer was obvious! Cynthia was awesome, therefore her dancing was awesome! A flawless display of logic and reason. "I guess so~! I've never seen her dance, but um--I bet she's pretty good." Iris mused aloud, beginning to hum a disjointed tune as the icy winds of the mountain continued their relentless assault.

Meanwhile ... Frost is able to locate something resembling the purple dragon they're looking for. Movement--from farther above them. Due to sheer distance alone it was difficult to tell, but it did seem to be a lead.

Paula ignored Iris comment about Cynthia as she looked bewildered at Shaymin's sudden attitude to her, It looks like he got a new personality from that form. She watched as Cynder nudged her and said she was a little bit worried for a bit about Paula's safety. "Thanks Cynder, hopefully the mountain wont try and kill us now, maybe the storm will start to clear up." Paula said to the three...As more harsh wind's came towards the four, Paula tried to brace for Impact.

But before the wind could hit her, she tried to place a shield on the group to try and protect them from the winds.

Paula quickly placed a shield on the party members, but not before getting hit a little by the wind, she didn't feel It that much and looked at everyone else. "Is everyone ok?" Paula said to the group as she spoke again. "This shield should protect us for a little while from the weather." Paula said as she began to look around for anything helpful.

Frost looked up as he could sense something in the mountain. A warmth that was hiding itself from the harsh colds. Perhaps a little cold blooded in nature. Regardless, finding his way back to the group was going to be trouble now which was the flaw. However, he had a place to check out while his ghostly form relaxed. He quickly went upwards and to the area he sensed the dragon. Whether or not it was him, the Ice Type Shaymin needed to take a break from Phantom Force. "I may of found something. I will update you in a few moments," the more serious form returned to Paula before floating up through the cave flow of where he felt movement.

As he surfaced, his form came back into full view and he floated to the ground. A growling came from the phantom canine's stomach as he appeared... That was the downside of being a ghost type. Floating through walls inexpicably made you hungry. He wasted no time in trying to scan the room for whoever he sensed.

Forever optimistic, Paula responded with hope of a merciful storm. Cynder found it impossible to believe but she kept quiet about it. The snow was heavy, winds blistering, and mountain just as nearly as cold as it had been when the dragoness was half-buried walking alone. Her body had taken to nearly constant little shivers as the group continued their trek upward with not much better hope of shelter or their quarry than before. She tried to keep her mind on the lighter side but things were kinda grim. And what was she doing!?

With a freezing, wet, intake of breath Cynder forced a calming sigh. She wasn't abandoning her friends; that's what she was doing. They were here to help search for this purple colored dragon and if there was any smidgen of possibility it was Spyro she couldn't turn back. The sigh helped stave off the tensed tremors for a moment, as well as clear her mind, just in time for the handy psychic girl to setup a barrier to shield the group from the elements. It was temporary but certainly a welcomed relief.

"This is great but..." she paused to find her wording amidst muttered uhm's and erm's, "We should really take advantage of this and get moving a bit faster. There doesn't look like there's anything around here and we still have quite a ways to go up. The sooner we can get up, the sooner we can leave."

While she waited for a confirmation of yay or nay from her walking buddy Cynder attempted to peer through the wash of grey that was the cloud and snow whipping about them and find a better path for them to take.

Paula's shield could do nothing to block the cold itself, however it did provide a barrier against the wind and ice. At this point, Dragonite was fully comfortable here. Not even the nastiest gust would be capable of inflicting any damage upon him. Iris was doing pretty well herself. "Yeah! That's some pretty impressive magic, Paula! Dragonite feels like he can take on the world!" she remarked rather enthusiastically.

Meanwhile, Frost had the rather unfortunate realization that he was in fact still at least a mile away from the creature he perceived to be Spyro. The mountain was quite huge after all. Perhaps if he was fast enough however, he could close a lot of that distance before his phantom force ran out.

Now, pathfinding was a rather difficult task when one did not know where they were supposed to be going. However, Cynder was able to find a less steep path of ascent that might allow the group to move more quickly.

After Paula set up the barrier, Iris thanked Paula and Cynder wanted to go faster, causing Paula to speak to both. "Yeah, the barrier's nice, but Cynder's right, I don't know how long the shield will last, so we should go faster now." Paula said as she tried walk faster In the snow, all the while trying to find a clear view of the snow from up ahead.

But she was also still worried about Shaymin and hope's shes ok.

"I hope your doing fine Shaymin." Paula thought to herself.

Frost came to the realization the warmth in the cold caves he sensed was still a large distance away. He was going to have to make up some serious distance if he hoped to make it there on the little strength he had for Phantom Force left. He just had to put some speed into it. He was as swift as Sky was in the air. They are both able of moving at extremely fast velocities. He just had to ignore his hunger pains and focus his strength into moving as quickly as possible to cover as much ground as possible.

The ghost type indeed focused all of his energy into soaring upwards through the mountain as quickly as he could. He was losing energy fast but he did not stop until his speed burst through the floor of the cave room he sensed. There was some life in here and it was worth investigating. His body went back to being seeable by all eyes once again and he fell to the floor. He breathed in and out before getting adjusted with his energy catching up. Now, time to see who was in this cave. At least it was not in the cold air that was the outside.

Cynder felt a little warmer with Paula's agreement, and also possibly the shield giving some reprieve from the harsh elements now battering it instead of them. Unfortunately though the girl hadn't picked up the pace, instead following suit with the dragoness in peering through the white and gray for a more optimal path. Before Cynder could reveal her findings, as she had to take a few seconds to make absolute certain of her discovery, Paula announced she could see everything just fine.
"Great, now how about we adjust for that drift over there," she paused to point a taloned finger at the rise of snow; beside which there was a notable decline in the depth of snow. There must have been something jutting out, a ridge of some sort from the rocky makings of the mountain hidden beneath the wet blanket, which protected the path they could tread. "And get moving quicker."

She readied herself for a hopeful travel speed increase.

The sound of claws and scales scraping against the rocky floor would greet Frost Shaymin's ears.

"Huh... I thought I toasted all the fodder in here."

Shaymin would find herself being greeted by their target himself, a quite small, young dragon with a rather cocky smirk on his face. Noteably, there were small icicles forming on his horns. It seemed that he could now reach them with his flame breath. How unfortunate. Other than that, though, it seemed like he was doing well and alert! It probably helped that he'd evaded the start of the storm. The dragon was eyeing Shaymin contemplatively. The golden dragonfly fluttering over his shoulder seemed to indicate that he probably wasn't kidding about having just had a feast. It turns out that Spyro wasn't at immediate risk of death! +1 for Team Rescue.

Paula continued to light up the area, even if all the group could see is snow, it didn't help the fact that the shield was now about to break and the group will get more damage in the snow, for a few minutes until Paula makes a new shield again, while lighting up the area, she tried to keep up with the group as well.

Shaymin looked at the dragon that spoke up with a cold stare that Frost had. His Ghost Type eyes could see fairly well in the dark and see the purple on the dragon. Was this the one they were looking for? It seemed a fair assessment and despite that comment he did not seem hostile at the moment. Frost did his job of getting her there but a jade glow enveloped the ghastly canine before shrinking into Land Forme.

"I am NOT fodder! I am part of a team to help you. I am here alone because Frost wanted to use his ghost powers to cut through the mountain. The rest should be on their way," Shaymin explained. Too bad she could not exactly focus her telepathy. Paula was not really in her range of detecting to send her mind.

"... By the way, I have two questions if you do not mind. My name is Shaymin. Is your name Spyro? And do you know a girl named Iris? She wears a fancy dress, weird hair, fondness for dragons, claim to have seen you. What do you think of her if you do?" Shaymin inquired.

It seemed the stringy legs of the girl were still having a bit of trouble in the thicker parts of the snow drift, but hopefully redirecting to the path Cynder had spotted would help get those legs moving. Despite the gentle urges of the dark dragon's wing wrapping itself around as a makeshift windbreaker Cynder wasn't about to just take off without the psychic; no matter how slow the going was. However, that wouldn't stop her from continuing to try. Especially since that speedy hulk of a dragon was gaining some distance ahead of them.

Cynder noticed the flicker of the shield moments before it expired, bracing herself for the inevitable onslaught of a sudden wind threatening to send non-natives spiraling down the mountainside. She faced its direction and, in a desperate attempt to soften the blow, sent forth a cloud of her breath weapon to oppose the winds. It seemed to work for the most part. The forceful chill instantly dispersed the heated waves of her shadow fire and carried it back at the pair, but laced with a faint warmth. The initial impact of the wind was lessened as well albeit briefly, leaving the sudden disappearance of the shield unlike exiting a tunnel in a sideways downpour.

Pleased that the return of the high winds hadn't risked being swept off her feet, she set her mind back on how to help Paula trek through the terrain so the group could reach a shelter faster.
"Why don't you try moving in Dragonite's wake? He leaves quite a trench, maybe it'd be easier," suggested Cynder in almost a yell in order to be heard over the whipping winds.
