Peach beamed at Rosalina pleasantly, quite pleased with how her efforts had turned out. And plus, she didn't mind stealing a kiss when the time was right. Right at that moment, when Rosalina was at her weakest, the time had definitely been right. Meanwhile Eldstar's gaze drifted to Daisy as she began crying and Peach, being a deceptively wise woman, noticed this immediately. She glanced over her shoulder and promptly spotted Daisy... crying? Peach was momentarily confused, but after listening to what little Daisy said and watching the way she held herself the realization hit Peach like a truck. To someone as empathetic as her, there was no question in her mind why exactly Daisy was crying. Daisy's attempts at hiding her true feelings had failed, and Peach's eyes widened wich shock and realization.
She was stunned. Not because she'd never considered the idea, but because she hadn't realized any feelings had existed on Daisy's end. Here she stood next to the woman whom admitted her love strictly because Perry had been there to help her admit hers, next to the woman she'd never known had any feelings for her because Perry hadn't been there to help her.
...Oops.
Peach felt terrible, but something far more pressing was demanding their attention right now. She couldn't stop and console Daisy, and even if she'd wanted to it would probably put them in danger. Eldstar's wish was coming to fruition before their eyes. "Be warned, we can force it to take a form we can help you defeat--but that is the full extent of our control once it has manifested." the oldest star warned.
...
The weight of the presence suddenly vanished, only to be replaced after a moment by a loud howling noise as a torrent of darkness burst into the room. The purplish cloud of energy swirled about the room, whipping up a powerful breeze and violently disturbing the water, sending a light spray up at the girls. The star spirits returned to their normal colors and seemed to come to their senses, helping to corral the massive cloud of darkness as it continued to pour in. The wind was so strong that the girls would be unable to move easily until it ended.
The dark wish cloud would abruptly turn upon the podeum, rapidly condensing into one giant, superdense blob right in front of Peach. The princess stepped back, gasping in shock as a familiar figure began to emerge from the cloud. Oh no...
"GWAAAAAR!"
"I knew it!" Perry shouted, quite pleased with himself as the figure of Bowseer emerged. This was no ordinary bowser however. He was enormous, far bigger than the real thing, and covered in a powerful purple aura resembling the starvia. It radiated from his body like smoke rising from a fire, rising several meters before fully dissipating. His roar shook the foundations of the sanctum, the star spirits scattering to hide behind the women who had so bravely accepted this burden. If one were to look into the phantasm's eyes, they would find no recognition in them. Not even Bowser's signature rage was present, a dead gaze in it's place. The perceptive among them would know right away that this was not a creature that could be manipulated or reasoned with.
"Princess!" a voice called from nearby. Peach looked up, as she alone would find it familiar. A single star child rushed to Peach's side, gazing upon the Dire Phantasm Bowser. He seemed afraid, but stood bravely in front of Peach regardless. "Twink..?" Peach asked in mild disbelief. "I came as soon as I heard you were around, but I couldn't get in because of the dark wishes. Is... Is that Bowser?" Twink asked, gazing up at the enormous monstrosity. Peach hesitated. "...Sort of." Peach replied, fully aware that this wasn't the real Bowser. "It's really dangerous here, Twink. Are you sure you want to be here?" Peach asked. It was Twink's turn to hesitate. "...Yeah. If you can be brave, I can too! I think I remember this..." Twink replied, though he and Peach hadn't been the one to fight Bowser the last time he'd been this large.
The phantasm took a deep breathe and emitted a roar that made the earth quake violently under the girl's feet, a discharge of toxic smog launching from his mouth at them.

Peach was unable to dodge or resist the devistating attack, coughing sickly as she breathed in the deadly gas. She wobbled on her feet as the toxic took effect, groaning in distress. How nasty!
