Princess Peach would step out of her castle, leading the way east across two lovingly crafted little marble bridges. The sky began to darken as they passed, a supernatural night seting over the group. A couple of shooting stars rained from the sky overhead, leaving streaks of light in the starry night sky.

Peach would sigh contently. Star Hill was one of the most beautiful natural wonders in the Mushroom Kingdom, and it was right next door to her castle at that! An aurora flickered over the ground, casting a beautiful light show as lavenders and cyans and subtle greens danced before the women's eyes. A large hill laid before them, glittering faintly with stardust and stars shards embedded in the ground. Ocassionally a shooting star would impact the ground, often shattering into dust before their eyes. Peach would stop, beaming at Rosalina in particular. "Welcome to Star Hill. It's beautiful, isn't it~?" Peach asked, smiling brightly. Perry giggled, and she seemed to snap out of the romantic view the hill provided. Turning her gaze to Daisy, Peach continued. "We need to get to the top of the hill in order to get to Star Haven. It's very cold up there. Are you both ready..?" she would ask, looking the two of them up and down. Peach was wearing her normal, ornate dress. Such a big, layered dress would keep her nice and warm once they ascended above the clouds. She was wearing more layers underneath her dress than normal, but one wouldn't be able to tell from their current vantage point.

“"It's all so breath-taking..." Daisy sighed, struck with awe at the night sky above her.
“"Whenever I was feeling homesick while away from our homeland, my dad would always point me up at the stars and remind me that 'they are all the same stars that shine down over Sarassaland, just further away is all.'" she reminisced, searching for that one constellation that looked like her. This was an inspiring start to her adventure. The sights of the sky almost completely distracted her from the cold down on earth. Almost anyway.

“"I was b-born ready!" Daisy affirmed to Peach, trying her best to ignore her temperature.

Daisy was used to dressing lightly while in the sun soaked Baributo, dressing up in a proper gown only for special occasions like visiting the Mushroom Kingdom. Had she been wearing the athletic gear she'd been wishing she wore earlier that day, she'd be frozen. Sadly the gown she did have on still wasn't enough to keep her from shivering like a Topi. Maybe she should take this last opportunity to change before they go.

Rosalina walked by Peach and Daisy as they went to Star Hill. This hill near Peach's castle was not as nostalgic for her but it was still a great sight. Rosalina felt the same kind of feelings as Peach as she looked up at the stars. In addition to the romanticness though, was the feeling of home and comfort the stars gave her. It was unfortunate she could not return to the stars at this moment but it was fine when she was with Peach. "It truly is," Rosalina said as she looked up at the beautiful sight.

"It's almost like being in space but we are still on the planet!" The blue luma she brought along chimed in. Rosalina closed her eyes and nodded at that sentiment. The Luma and her were in sync with that paticular emotion and admiration for space and the stars. "They remind me of the stars me and my dad would look at through the telescope," Rosalina shared. "Let's go see the Star Spirits," Rosalina agreed as she opened her eyes. "Yeah! We're ready, Mamas!" The Luma danced and not realizing he used the plural of Mama after hearing about Rosalina and Peach.

Rosalina knew it would probably be very cold on this trip so she made sure to change outfits when she retrieved her luma. She was wearing a cyan parka with fluff on the hood and sleeves. She wore her pendant near the top of the part before the hood.  She wore some really bright blue gloves as well along with cyan boots. She made sure to make herself ready for the trip but also made sure to keep the Luma warm. The luma wore a scarf around their blue body with blue stars on it.

Peach seemed a little... unconvinced by Daisy's Bravado. Concern flashed across her features as she watched the other shiver. Considering it would get much colder once they actually ascended above the clouds, Peach had to hesitate on her friend's account. Her attention was grabbed but Rosalina's luma, however. She smiled at the star child, amused by her new name. She seemed to accept it readily, judging by the fact that she didn't protest it. "One moment, little one. 'Special One'" Peach replied, giving Rosalina a knowing look as she humored the other's nickname for her by returning the gesture. Peach would proceed to move over to Daisy, inspecting her and moving to gently take h er hand. "...It's going to get much colder, Daisy. Why don't we step back into the castle for a moment?" Peach suggested rather firmly. She didn't want to see her sister-in-arms suffering like this up in Star Haven, or worse. Looks like she had two kids to take care of~

...Peach would slip away with Daisy, returning not long later sporting a more snug winter outfit alongside the flower princess.

"Now we're ready~"

The duet returned, Peach smiling apologetically at Rosalina for the delay.

Without further delay, Peach would begin leading the way further up the hill. It was a winding path that spiraled around the hill several times. "We should be safe on our way up to the summit. I've never seen any fighting take place here. Maybe the power of the star spirits wards them off." Peach began to explain as she pulled herself over a sheer step. The terrain was mildly difficult to traverse, the path tot he summit apparently all-natural.1d20+5

Daisy noticed Rosalina's fluffy parka. "What a showoff..." she thought to herself in her shivering head.

"But it's hard to deny how cute she looks in that thought...Even the little Luma's cute in that scarf." Daisy sighed in a puff of white smoke, hoping it sounded like she was agreeing with what Rosalina said.
 She inhaled that white steam right back in when she heard the Luma adres Rosalina and Peach. "Mamas? My ears must be colder than I thought!"Daisy grumbled in her head "And Again with the 'Special One'talk! I Wish my ears froze off!"



The sensation of Peach grabbing her trembling hand snapped Daisy out of her pout. Normally Daisy's pride would force her up the mountain just the way she was simply to challenge the mountain and come out on top victorious, but that didn't matter when Peach was the matter.

Daisy simply swallowed her pride and let Peach lead her back into the castle.



And it was such a good thing that she did. Daisy was much more comfortable in her new winter duds.

She proudly strut across the bridge as if it were a run way and moddled her parka, scarf boots and mittens for Rosalina and her Luma.



“"Good call there Bunbun! I feel as great as I look in this!" Daisy thumbed up at Peach.“ "Now let's-a Go! For real this time!"

Rosalina smiled at Peach using her own term for her. It was a good feeling coming from Peach for those words she used for someone's endearment. She and the Luma watched and waited for Daisy and Peach to come back as they looked up at the stars they and space they called home. Though they longed to explore the vast reaches of space again, they can wait on that. Especially since they still needed to find the rest of their family. Rosalina was also happy Peach seemed happy with the luma now calling her mama as well... She had so many little ones to give that news to... She was not sure how Daisy would feel about it though if they told her directly. She seemed a bit bothered by it even if she did not really say she was.

Rosalina opened her eyes as she exited her train of thought as Daisy came back and made a show of the winter attire Peach helped her with. Rosalina had to admit she did look good in it. "It is a nice outfit. Now we shall ascend the hill," Rosalina said before jumping up quite high and slowly landing onto the steep part Peach was having small issues with and stopped if she seen someone needed help. She was a really amazing jumper but she was not exactly swift really. The Luma's floating gave him no issue.

Peach was indeed having a bit of difficulty. Why--You'd have to be Mario to easily jump some of these steps! She consoled herself by telling herself that this was just the prices one paid for preserving the hill's natural beauty. Peach would gratefully accept Rosalina's help, shifting to pull herself up. "Why thank you." Peach would reply in kind for Rosalina's aid. The princess would glance around, spotting a fallen star glowing faintly not far off. "...The falling stars hold records of the wishes people have made. If you stand close to them, you'll get to hear what they wished for." Peach explained softly as she resumed on her way up the hill.

"What do you wish for, Princess Daisy? Princess Rosalina? Perry?" she would go on to ask. The princess was too polite and proper to listen in on their wishes right in front of them. "Hey, Peach? I have a question." Perry would ask, sounding a tad puzzled himself. "Oh? What's that?" Peach asked, giving a curious look over her shoulder.

"...If Rosalina is the luma's Mama, and you're the luma's Mama..." Perry began, his brows furrowing in frustration for a moment. There were so many obvious questions the parasol could've asked, but Perry asked exactly none of them. "Does that make me a luma?" Perry would finally ask, stumping Peach on the spot. She actually had to think about the question for a moment, where it was coming from and why it was being asked before she could answer it. "...Do you wish you were a luma, Perry?" Peach asked, amused by his train of thought. "...Maybe! A little." Perry quickly replied, pouting at Peach for having not answered his question.

The group would be at least halfway up Star Hill by now.

Daisy bounded from step to step as if she were the long lost Mario sister. Climbing in these pants and boots beat hiking in heels any day of the week. Sure jumping's easy if you can defy gravity, but it takes good old fashioned strength, agility, stability and good old fashion knees, toes, heels and calves to scale a hill like a majestic mountain goat. She even managed to get ahead a screen or two ahead of Peach and Daisy, only noticing they weren't beside her when she looked for their reactions for jumps she landed.

Realizing how far ahead she got, she stopped to wait for them. It's not like had a clue where she was even headed, she'd be lost without them. It was then when she heard Peach ask about their wishes from not so far bellow. "I wish she'd stop calling Rosalina a princess..." she snorted to herself.

"I wish you two would dig your roots out! It's getting lonely at the top!" she called down to them teasingly.

She looked down the mountain and saw the two climbing hand in hand. A little tighter than otherwise necessary...
Perry's question did nothing to help ease Daisy's suspicions on the nature of the relationship between the two.
"I wish I weren't so unsure about this..." She whined to herself, amending her previous wish. "The suspense is starting to sting!"
a beat of sweat ran down her face and froze at her cheek.
She had to make another move... She quickly broke off and disposed of the sweat drop and made her way back to the others.

"Hey Bunbun, feeling a little turgored?" Daisy called to Peach, sliding down to the slope her level to meet her again. “"How about you take a load off and let good Daisy handle the footwork for you for a bit?" She said bowing like a servant and then turning around, still squat. "Go ahead, Hop on!" She offered generously, waiting for Peach to mount her for a piggy-back ride. "I'll carry you up just like a Yoshi! Don't be shy, I insist; We can't afford for our navigator to get exhausted and you wouldn't wanna wear those boots out when we're only half way up our quest, now would you?~" She winked.

Rosalina looked to the fallen star after helping Peach. Peach claims listening to these fallen stars can tell you the wishes of the people that have made wishes to the Star Spirits. That was an interesting trait she has not seen anywhere else in her travels amongst the stars. This place seemed very special afterall as it should when being connected to Star Haven. The Mushroom Kingdom was still one of the greatest wonders in all of the galaxies.

Daisy was very fast as she climbed ahead and Rosalina made to follow until Peach asked them about their wishes... Well, except for her Luma but she figured asking him went without saying. Daisy made a joke out of the question further ahead but Rosalina took the question much more seriously. Right now she had only one wish she could possibly offer to share. "My wish is that all our Luma are safe and that I may return them home soon," Rosalina answered with closed eyes. She used our since they were kind of Peach's family as well now.

"Don't worry, Mama. I am sure they will stay strong for you both," The Blue Luma reassured. Perry's quite was kind of humorous if not a bit odd as Peach made it. It did seem a little concerning that Perry asked though.  She was not entirely sure what he meant by the question. Perry was a very strange being really.

Then Daisy came back down to them and offered to give Peach a ride up the mountain. Rosalina might of offered if she felt she was strong enough but she was not exactly the most physically capable she knew. It would allow them to get up the mountain faster though if Rosalina had spare space to use the Launch Star though. "That sounds like a great idea. I will use the Launch Star to get my Luma and me up there faster as well. Ready?" Rosalina asked the Luma. "Always!~" The Luma agreed and Rosalina waved her wand to create two Launch Stars, one around her and one for her Luma. They were ready to spin to intiate the stars to speed up the steep cliffs through the stars' launching power.

Peach watched in surprise as Daisy offered to give her a ride and Rosalina rocketed to the top of the hill. Peach would lean towards Daisy, pondering the offer for a moment. "...Well, alright." she relented, appearing somewhat unsure of herself. Somehow she didn't feel that this was dignified, especially on Daisy's part, but she supposed Rosalina didn't seem to mind and Daisy didn't seem to mind. ...And she really didn't care for long walks! All things considered, she was okay with this. The princess would step over Daisy and get on the other's back, wraping her thighs around the other's waist and her arms around Daisy's shoulds, lazily leaning against theother. "It's awfully kind of you to do this for me..." she whispered, her eyes half-closing as she allowed herself a moment's reflection on the way up.

...

Meanwhile, awaiting at the top of the hill was a plateau with a magic circle carved into the rock. Several star indentations were laid out in a circle around the edges of the plateau, a single star indentation placed in the very center of the circle. One could feel the stars gazing down on them, a serene presence that swept over the girls much like the aurora. Someone was watching.

"Anytime Bunbun. You know always I got your back!". Daisy replied affirmatively with a pun. "Now just relax and hold on tight."it was now that she realized Peach was wearing extra levels. the dress was heavier than she was expecting, but that couldn't slow her down if it tried.

Daisy's eyes widened as she saw Rosalina and the Luma get set in the Launch Star.
"Oh so it's a race, huh? You're on, Pionpi! Let's do it!" Daisy taunted, accepting the challenge.
"3...2...1... Go!" And like karts off a starting line with the A button held just right, Daisy burst from her spot, leaving nothing but single file foot prints behind as she bounded up the mountain like an Ice Climber. Peach had to hold onto her tighter just to stay on. 
Peach felt lighter than Daisy anticipated, which only helped her in the long run. The cold air was also a plus, she didn't even break a sweat with the constant cooling.

"Yeeeoshi!" Daisy mimicked with glee. "Wow" She exclaimed, still in the Yoshi voice when the top of the mountain came rushing into view.

Rosalina got ready to spin and go quickly up the hill until Daisy called her something. It seemed like a very specific name to be called... Was she trying to insult her in some form? Either way, the name seemed familiar but it felt like a long time ago. It was kind of difficult to recall where she remembered hearing it through her vast memories of the universe. However, if she remembered, she might be able to make a clever retort.

Oh yeah, Daisy was the princess of Sarasaland. One of the kingdoms had a species of undead that was known for jumping and being able to resurrect after being jumped on similar to Dry Bones. There was quite a few ways that could be being used for an insult but if Daisy wanted to reference her own kingdom, Rosalina might as well retort in a similar manner.

"Unfortunately, I think calling it a race would be a little unfair, little Flipbug," Roslina said as she looked up the hill and noted it's spiral design before waiting for Daisy to call out Go. Rosalina then would spin along with the luma and shoot up the mountain at a fast pace. The Luma's scarf flowing behind him in the air as they swiftly flew to the top.

Considering Rosalina was able to skip the slope of the mountain, beating Daisy was not difficult at all as she landed and summoned some star bits for her and luma to snack on while they look at the hill's top. It almost felt like someone was watching them as she looked up at the stars above them. There was also several indentations that must somehow relate to the seven star spirits.

Rosalina waited as she absent mindedly ate a few star bits. Fortunately, Daisy was pretty agile so it did not take too long for her to join Rosalina and her Luma. "So, Peach, how do we contact the star spirits?" Rosalina asked as she was not sure. She heard of the Star Spirits a long time ago but she never tried to called to them. This is a rare moment where someone was better suited for knowledge on a thing about the universe than her. Which it did feel good to have that brief reliance on Peach.

"Oh!" Peach blurted out as Daisy unexpectedly burst into a race. This hadn't been what she was imagining at all! Rather than a relaxing ride to the top, she was suddenly refreshing her trail riding skills. Obviously, Rosalina bypassing the entire winding back-and-forth trail to go right up the hill gave her an extreme advantage and Peach wouldn't be at all surprised when the cosmic princess managed to win this little 'race'. She even rolled her eyes at Daisy's Yoshi imitation. Now that was just silly! "I do believe this is the best Yoshi impression I've ever laid eyes and ears upon, Daisy~!" Peach would remark.

...

As the two finally rejoined Rosalina up, Peach would wave to Rosalina from atop Daisy. "I'm glad to see you found your way~!" she offered light-heartedly, turning her attention back to the inscription on the hill's summit. "Well, before we can continue on, we have to make a wish. We have to wish for the Star Spirits to hear us." Peach explained. "Would you both join me in this?" the princess would then ask. Getting the star spirits attention was often difficult, even when you had a high-level magical girl on your side! Perhaps with three, though...

"Flipbug?...Hey!" Daisy yelled out to Rosalina as she disappeared up into the fog. One could say she quickly came to regret challenging a Launch Star user to a race, but Daisy wouldn't say so. It wasn't her style to back down from challenges like that.

Daisy couldn't fly, but she could run. She dashed up the winding spiral of the hill at the speed one would expect more of a Yoshi than a princess. She did her best to combine her strength speed and dexterity to navigate the sharp corners and crooked paths without jostling her cargo too much. These are skills you pick up from navigating the pyramids in Baributo. Being used to the boiling sun, the blistering cold was a refreshing change of circumstance. Or maybe the magic petal propeller she manifested behind herself and Peach had something to do with it too...

"Pow!" Daisy accepted the compliment, not breaking the impression just yet. Having her precious Peach on her back didn't hurt her performance either. She was determined to convince her that she was still the best and the motivation to prove it pushed her farther than any Dash Pepper could. You'd be surprised what could be accomplished when you do it for love.

All of this speed and energy would return meaningless as Daisy followed the path whereas Rosalina cut straight up through to the top. Daisy might not be able to win this race against Rosalina, but she finally had some alone time with Peach...which had she realized, she might have thrown the race and walked slower...But alas this was Daisy we're talking about, she looks at the track before the finish line.

Daisy and Peach soon arrived at the finish line. Daisy's jaw dropped as she slowed to a halt, at the sight of Rosalina and Luma causally waiting for them, munching on Star bits even!
Daisy's jaw would've dropped at this point anyway, after all of that running and jumping, she was panting like a Spike. the petal propeller dispersed and the petals swiftly blew away with the wind.The cold air up there made cooling off a breeze for Daisy and she barely missed a beat. It didn't even cross her mind to let Peach back down, it felt good to have her on her back in fact.

"Awowowow!" Daisy ended her impression at last with. "GG Rosy, no re till we get back down." She admitted with dignity befitting a princess. An important part of being competitive is being a good sport when you lose. "She even Jumps like a Pionpi too." she huffed onder her panting breath.



The summit of the mountain was like noting she had ever seen before. Admiring the view of the cosmos and the plateau with a magic circle carved into the rock. "It's like a dream up here!" she sighed.



"Make a wish? That's all? Well that sounds simple enough." Daisy nodded to Peach, still on her back. Fairy tale stuff, even. But of course I'll wish with you." she affirmed quite pleased to be a part of this.

Rosalina nodded as Peach stated her appreciation for Rosalina finding her way up. It was not really that hard when she was capable of using the Launch Star to bypass a large amount. Though Daisy still got up here surprisingly fast for taking the long way. Rosalina would of probably never beat her using normal means.

Peach then explained how summoning the Star Spirits worked. "A wish?... Seems appropriate. Okay, let's do it together then," Rosalina said as she closed her eyes. Rosalina and her Luma wished together to see the Star Spirits as per Peach's request. Perhaps with Rosalina's connection to the galaxies and space magic she could get their attention.
