*I respectively request that any thread I partake in does not involve anything that requires me to write with the fattening/plumping/engorging/etc of characters. It find it uncomfortably grotesque as I try to put myself in my character's place when I write. Thank you in advance.

Primary Attacks:
History On Li:
(1) Claws'n Jaws - [7%] Being a wolf, Amaterasu has the benefits of strong canines and thick claws. The most basic of her attacks and always available: biting and raking. [No cool down]Special Abilities:
(2) Divine Retribution - [11%] The green mirror that hovers above Ammy's back emitting small flicks of fire and slowly spins at all times. Amaterasu can, at will, move the mirror around her; however it may never be further than one foot from her body. Attempts to wrench the disk away from her results in the wolf going with it. [No cool down]
(3) Resurrection Beads - [2% ea. 15% burn chance per one used; max 40%] 12 hazy ethereal purple-blue swirls float in a mild spin about the white wolf's form. Ammy can hurl up to five at once toward an enemy to cause chilling burns. If hit within 5ft the orbs can knock back a non-heavy/large opponent, otherwise they just deal damage and cause burn. Only the first burn counts; no stacking duration. It is possible for her to hit two opponents at once but only if they are standing next to each other. If she uses 4+ orbs in one attack she can only make 1 other action in the round. [3 post cooldown for each bead used]
(4) Trip - [3% -- 7% for Large/Heavy Characters] In conjunction with a successful melee attack Amaterasu can attempt to trip her opponent. It does not have a separate roll; it just fails or succeeds based on the attack it accompanies. If successful, the opponent falls prone to the ground. Prone means their ranged attacks, and ranged attacks against them, are at a -3 penalty, their dodge is at a -2 vs. melees, and they cannot really move around much. They can end this condition by using a combat action to stand up. Opponents without legs or some viable way to 'trip', or in the case of flying enemies to ground them, are immune. [Once per round]
*This move cannot get crits
All of Amaterasu's special attacks stem from a technique known as the 'Celestial Brush': an invisible innate mystical ability. The only indicator of her using this ability is the blackening of the tip of her tail. She has a 'Basic Brush' that possesses a few non-combat techniques and are described in the 'Other' section.Final Smash:
(1) Flash Flare - [0%] When the sun is shining brightly overhead she can increase the intensity of its rays for 2 full posts (making it warmer), or she could instead cause a single target focused flash of light to momentarily blind them, thus requiring them to make a Perception Check of 15+ in order to interact with anything not immediately on their person. The blinding effect is short lived, lasting only for the target's next turn. To use this move requires a view of the sun, and for the target to have sight. [2 post cooldown]
(2) Green Sprout Lv.2
- Blossom - [11%] If the ground is relatively uncovered soil, Ammy can cause a tree to instantaneously sprout up at an unbelievable speed. It grows up in seconds, thick branches spreading chaotically in the blink of an eye and spanning a 15ft area, either slapping opponents away or sweeping them up into its canopy. The tree disperses into a burst of taraxaum seeds, which in turn swiftly fade out of existence, on Ammy's next turn. [2 post cool down]
- Water Lily - [3%] Ammy is able to summon a lily pad, one at a time but a max 2 of two active simultaneously, that would give her a nice little platform to move across water or she can slop them onto an opponent causing minor damage. However, the lily pad's tendril roots often find themselves tangled up around the target until 15% damage is dealt to them; lowering the target's DEX MOD by 1. 1/4 of damage done to the lily also goes to the target unless they spend two turns carefully untangling themselves instead of damaging it. The lily will disappear on it's own on the target's 4th turn if not already destroyed. [2 post cool down]
(3) Power Slash Lv.1 - [16%] With a single stroke of her brush Amaterasu can inflict a ranged slash upon an object, doing less damage the longer the range. The window for blocking is very short. An individual who was targeted would hear the unsheathing of a blade and feel a slight breeze preceding the path of the attack by only a couple seconds. Being of a kind nature, Amaterasu tends to not target vital areas. [1 post cool down]
(4) Veil of Mist - [0%] By invoking Kasugami's mark Ammy is able to slow time to a near stop in roughly a 60ft radius centered on herself for 1 turn. Amaterasu, and anything she is carrying, is unaffected. If Ammy comes into contact with any active attacks caught in the effect they would hit just as normal. Anything entering the space, or only partially in such as legs or an arm, during the active period would feel the effects. This technique does not count as a combat action and she is unable to use any brush techniques during this time. Any attempt at a ranged attack counts as leaving her person.
Every attack in the area, including friendly fire, is treated as a flat 8 to avoid whilst navigating her time bubble. Terrain could factor in and make it harder, say if it was a cramped space or she was surrounded. While this technique is useful for dodging attacks, she would prefer to use it to pull allies out of harms way or to catch an otherwise elusive enemy. Noting that when she comes into melee contact with someone they count as 'being carried'. If she attacks someone during this period her first attack cannot be dodged, but as that individual would then be freed from the Mist's grip even just momentarily subsequent attacks would play out as normal and that individual is able to make 1 counter attack without costing a combat action on their own turn. [5 post cool down]
(5) Inferno Lv.2
- Fire Trail - [5% & Burn] Ammy is able to drag her celestial brush through an existing source of fire and create a 30ft long thin trail of flames. This trail does not need to be grounded on anything, able to travel freely through the air. The trail of fire itself does not stick around, disappearing nearly as quickly as it appeared, but anything flammable that catches will remain burning. [2 post cool down]
- Fireburst - [25%, 10%, 5%] This massive ball of fire erupts at a point of Amaterasu's choosing, taking up a 10ft radius space including the encircling rings of fire. Those at its center take full damage (only 1 target), with less damage being dealt for those farther away but still within the attack's reach. [4 post cool down]
Solar Flare - Despite not possessing the physical divine instrument since her arrival in Li, Amaterasu can still sense its presence and with great effort can momentarily draw it to her. A burst of fiery energy consumes her being and replaces her Divine Retribution enveloping her coat in a shine so bright it is like looking at the sun. She receives a +1 DEX Mod and anyone trying to target her has a -5 on their roll (only a -3 if they're trying to hit her with an area effect).
[40% 1st turn, -10 every turn after] This form only lasts 3 posts and requires 50 Praise* to activate, but with it she can either use it to remain illusive or compact its energies into a single 25ft radius burst of light and fire. If the burst is used it completely depletes her celestial power for a time, meaning no brush techniques for a turn following.
History On Li:
(Another Landing)
Her return to home high above the realm of mortals was interrupted violently, the goddess torn away with parts of the ship carrying her and Waka. She found herself falling with the debris into a strange domain thick with a sickness. Amaterasu landed in the jungle of DK's Treehouse and was swiftly attacked by infected inhabitants. Luckily someone was nearby to come to her rescue: a black hedgehog well known as Shadow.
The two battled their way through the jungle in escape before meeting with a large tainted creature who was later discovered to be Dread Kong. By the skin of their teeth they managed to reduce the raging beast to his trophy, Shadow using the last spec of his power to transform into his Hyper self and finish the job. Falling into unconsciousness the hedgehog left a weakened and determined Amaterasu to carry him home; along with the new trophy.
(!Criminal Activity Spotted!: Black Market)
On the tail end of recovering from her arrival Amaterasu found herself padding through the various sections of the Life Sphere. Eventually she found herself in a rather questionable area, a market of some sort. Of the various activity and strange smells she was drawn to a grotesque poster put up by King K. Rool. Still a bit naive to all the players in the Life Sphere the sun goddess obliged by its instructions and was met with a questionable egg carrying bird who proceeded to instruct her on a mission but not one she was expecting. Having expected to be joining some sort of militia for cleaning the streets she was instead posed a task that was quite the opposite.
As to be expected she refused, tearing down a few of the posters with a growl. The messenger bird didn't take this kindly and Ammy found herself in a bit of a predicament. Suddenly surrounded by three klaptraps the bird left the white wolf to be lizard chow. After a fierce battle of survival a surprising end came about. The older klaptraps laid petrified in their trophy forms but the one little one sat sadly beside its brothers provoking empathy from the barely mobile wolf. With some effort she made her way to the weeping klaptrap and a new bond of friendship blossomed. The two left the darkened market area together in a cliché scene of a new beginning.
(The Great Escape)
Catching word of a possible break in attempt to free a bunch of known felons Amaterasu and her new companion jumped to the chance to help the Life Sphere. Particularly because the devious plan was King K. Rool's and after the canine's latest interaction with the lizard's troops the last thing she wanted to see was more of them on the streets. Accompanied by a mage companion, simply known as Black Mage, she and the mystic were led to the basement of the Police HQ where the most dangerous criminals were held.
They didn't even get to finish the tour before the assault on the prison began, a group of Kremlings tunneling in from the ceiling and even from below later on. The duo had trouble dealing with the half a dozen bipedal lizards, having help from Officer Blewitt and the police chief himself Captain Falcon, and when it came time to deal with the blue monster that burrowed in they were on their last limbs. Amaterasu quite literally. Barely able to stand she helped defend the prison to her last breath, sacrificing herself to keep Black Mage from harm while he cast his ultimate attack: Meteor.
(Subconscious Domain Mayhem)
Having just recovered from her own hospital visit, Amaterasu heard of an ally in need of aid and of a party of heroes that were about to partake in a dangerous journey to cleanse the wounded Zero. Racing to catch up the wolf found herself in a dream-like world with Dimentio, Antasma, A.I.M., and Cloud. There they encountered many versions of a virus program that called itself Omega. With some teamwork and a wave of super smashes the team was able to aid Zero in cleansing his body and recovering from his robot-coma.
(The Return of Sin)
Hearing rumors of Yami milling about at a factory generating copies of old Robot Masters, Amaterasu is compelled to investigate. Accompanied by Black Mage yet again the group manages to get inside after announcing their arrival. Upon entering however the group is split up into separate boss matches with the duplicate Robot Masters. Ammy & Black Mage re teamed against Gemini Man in a circular ice rink-like room. After some effort the dynamic duo defeated the twin robots and found themselves teleported into the heart of the factory.
Awaiting them was Yami... and Game & Watch, who had snuck into the facility and dealt with his own opponent. Little did he know the fish he had just adopted was the infamous Yami that they had come to defeat. Surprisingly it was Game & Watch's confused actions of 'love' toward his new pet was what prevented a harsh battle. Yami backed down and retreated into his bowl form to be carried by Game & Watch. Unsettled, Amaterasu has taken to stalking the little flat man; knowing Yami must be up to something.
(The Killing Prize)
Ammy joined Tails in his quest to discover the meanings of nightmares he'd been having. She, along with Paula Polestar and the mysterious Sheik, traveled with the young fox to the Crashed Nintendo land and began hunting down strange beacons in the area. The first they decided to hunt was in a Delfino Bank. The group had a time of getting in, and once inside were attacked by a mech. Tails disarmed the beacon while the other three fought the security off with minimal difficulty. Moving to the next area they found themselves in a bit of a horror scene: an abandoned pizzeria with spooky mechs walking around. The group hid in the control room, watching cameras and trying to keep the mechs out.
After a surprise run in with a special hallucinogen Mario mech Paula was kidnapped and the rest of the adventurers braved the halls to rescue her after a distress telepathic message. The three of them burst in just in the nick of time and saved Paula, only to have a bizarre doll pop in and kidnap Tails. The trio followed, encountering Wizzro along the way. He was under the Tails' Doll's control but the group managed to free the evil wizard who in turn gave them a portal to go rescue Tails. At this time it was revealed that Sheik was in fact Princess Zelda! The princess came out of hiding at the perfect time, her Light element infused attacks aiding greatly in dispatching the evil doll; though the group is unsure that that was truly the end of it.
(Temple of Ambrosia Pt2: Market Madness)
Heading a call for aid from her friend Paula, Amaterasu headed to the Black Market where their party would begin their search for the Ring of Ambrosia. Unsure of what this item did, Ammy had faith in Paula to not prod for any further information. After a brief time of walking through the market they spotted the ring in a Gerudo shop. Unfortunately while bargaining Ammy ended up ripping a sentimental scroll which caused the shop keeper to become hostile. At the same time another group came in yelling for the ring as well: the Pollies.
And so began the hit and run of the trio of heroes, escaping into the madness of the market; of which was quite the understatement. Stalls were broken, parties disrupted, items thrown around, crazy women with knives attacked in tandem with the Pollies attempting to snatch the ring away. In the end Paula received the ring after Hades regurgitated it and the Pollies were left behind dazed in the market.
Other Notes
*Besides the Sun, another source of Amaterasu's power comes from praise. Spoken or not, this ethereal source can be obtained from all forms of life. She gains strength from their positive thoughts and belief, and loses it similarly. Her true form can only be seen by those who believe in deities and otherwise would appear as a simple white wolf. Her divine instruments would be invisible, as would her markings, but the aftermath of her abilities are be notable.
(0) Basic Brush: Her most basic brush abilities can be used every turn as they do not have any real combat functionality; but they would still take an action:
Though the wolf cannot speak a common language with people she is able to read, and write with her Celestial Brush. Ammy also carries around what is known as an Astral Pouch, which allows her to carry things she wouldn't otherwise be able to (such as extra weapons, items, food, etc) by storing them in a little pocket dimension.
From her first mission with Paula Polestar, Ammy was given the psychic's ribbon. The red strand is tied around her neck into a nice bow by her left ear.

- Cleanse - Heal tainted soil and encourage small plants to grow astronomically faster
- Rejuvenation - Can fix small broken objects. While normally this would be on the scale of restoring entire bridges, here she is only be able to fix small tears or put broken pottery back together. This does not work on any items listed on the Item Index or to undue plot points.
