Variant Rules:
THESE ARE EXTREMELY IMPORTANT. If you don't read them, you won't get into the mission.

Rules:

• This mission will take place entirely within the game Terraria (Desktop Version). Official sessions are Tuesday, Friday and Saturday at 6 PM EST to 10 PM EST. Catchup / Unofficial sessions may be had, but will not count towards attendance.
• Sessions will take place on an at least weekly basis for at least 3 hours. We can still play on off-hours so long as I'm available. But bosses can only be fought during official hours when everyone has the opportunity to play.
• You will create a new Terraria character based on your Li character. Accuracy is optional but appreciated. People from previous parts of this mission can re-use their characters.
• Your goal is to defeat all remaining bosses and events.
• Every character has 3 lives. If you have no lives left, you either get eaten by monsters or become too injured to leave the home area and are restricted to roleplaying only. You must ICly acknowledge any death as at least an injury. You can replace your 3 lives depending on how you lost them by paying me in-game money, which will then be disposed of. The cost of lives depends on the cause of death.
Environmental: 10 gold
Monsters: 30 gold
Bosses: 100 gold
• If you want to play multiple characters, you can. However, you will be expected to find the time to actually roleplay them, either through emotes or as their own character. If I don't feel like your character participated to a bare minimum standard, they won't get credit.
• It is mandatory to attempt some level of RP while we play, generally between combat. The command for emotes is /me (text), though just writing normally with quotes is fine.
• You may not bring any items from any other worlds.
• Characters that do not ICly know magic may not use wands or tomes or magic guns.
• Characters that do not ICly have any experience using guns may not use any gun or launcher weapon.

World Details:

• The world will be Large Sized and Crimson.
• We will be doing Classic Mode Difficulty (Normal)
• You can use any character mode you want, though Classic might be best.
• Rushing or hogging all the upgrades for yourself is likely to result in death. It's strongly encouraged that you work as a team.
• The guide will ICly help characters with things that don't necessarily make sense for them to be able to accomplish on their own, such as say crafting a bed or house. Ciel can ICly make him do things.

The Terraria missions are NOT first-come-first-serve. It is approval based. You need to provide the following details to join in your sign-up post. People bringing characters from Part 1 will be automatically accepted.

Mission Brief: Ciel is seeking volunteers to help her fine tune a training simulation meant to help people deal with real world threats in an environment where you can't actually die.

Objective: Defeat every remaining boss/event.

So, before Part 3 starts I have to get a couple of things off my chest.

First, let's try not to use OOC to discuss gameplay stuff when our characters could be ICly discussing the mission. I've noticed that a couple of times. Roleplay is how I justify giving you rewards / mission ranks for this. :P

Second, Nostalgia ... In the last session of Part 2, you asked us to wait to kill Plantera because we were missing people, even though it was 30 minutes into an official session, aka a block of time within which we're allowed to kill bosses. We yielded to that request and waited. And yet, I couldn't help but notice that while I was at dinner, you pushed to fight Plantera without me. You even made some cheeky comments about how it was okay because we did Wall of Flesh without you, or because I wanted to do Plantera without others earlier.

We run on a schedule. We all have an obligation to do our best to set aside time to make these sessions on time. It's one thing to miss them, or be late, or leave early. I allow people to get away with that. It's one thing to ask people to wait for more people to show up before we do a boss. But to ask for that and then go on to spitefully try and exclude someone not all that long later... That's a very impressive 180, and not in the good way.

I spent the rest of that session not even wanting to be there, which is unacceptable considering I'm the host and don't have the freedom to take a session off like the rest of you. And I owe it to the rest of the party not to allow myself to get treated like that, so that I can continue running this mission. So right now, I am not inclined to accept you back for Part 3.

Schezo and Ringo will be there for the end. For all intents and purposes, Ringo might get priority to take down the final boss, partly because Schezo has seen the end before.

Alright! Journey's End is finished. We got real close to failure with that obnoxious invincible Moon Lord bug and those neverending Frost/Pumpkin Moon bugs, but we made it. Let's talk loot, because I overlooked some small details about how loot is going to work for people who played multiple characters.

If you participated in all 3 parts, you can request three pieces of loot for any characters you want.
For every additional character you played for more than one part, you may request an additional piece of loot.

You are of course allowed to buy new moves and have them be Terraria themed. These are just the ones you're getting for free. Lorewise, these pieces of equipment are being constructed via data gathered by using them in the simulation. There's limited energy to materialize them in the real world, is the main reason we only get a limited amount.

I want all of you to post in this thread with the equipment you want moves for and I'll get back to you soon(TM) with moves based on them.

Woo! Right when my schedule finally says i can have days off to play terraria too ||D Man, Scheduling. But, This was really fun! I was glad to play Raffideux and Cynthia so freely~
