[Doctor Ciel]

Alouette left Ciel's library, only to encounter a familiar face as she passed down the block, just kind of hanging out seemingly minding his own business nearby! The blue reploid stopped and stared at her for a moment, eyes narrowing in disgust.

“...Maverick.”

“Hey! You're rude!”

“And you're a filthy maverick.”

“...No, you!!”

Alouette ran up to Copy X and kicked him in his shin, before promptly turning about and running off. Copy X scowled at the little girl, silently contemplating shooting her in the back while she ran away. It'd  be so easy! Her tiny legs made her slow and clumsy!

...

Meanwhile, at an open little plaza that Ciel had sectioned away with holographic 'police tape' warning people not to enter, Ciel was putting the finishing touches on a set up to test Ashe's Model A.

“ Alright. We're hooked up to my lab. For everyone who is still in the dark about this, the reason we're doing this outdoors is so that in the event something goes wrong and we have to restrain Grey, we'll minimize property damage and injuries related to fighting in a confined space. ”

Alouette arrives, just kinda watching from the edge of the police line. She isn't getting any closer.

“ And just so we're on the same page, here's what we're doing and why. It isn't enough to just have a strong theory as to why Ashe went berserk in Sunshine Stadium. In order to clear her release, we need to test and prove that theory. That's why we're doing this instead of just wiping Model A's memory. To assist with this, I have a helmet that will monitor Grey's brain while we work.  My hope is that we'll see interference and be able to disengage before anything bad happens. But failing that, we'll all have to be prepared to fight, for Grey's safety and ours. Does everyone understand? ”

Ciel gestured to a special helmet and turned to Grey. Nearby, Milan nodded.

“ Got it. So if Grey goes nuts, that's where we come in. What happens if Grey escapes or manages to overpower us? ”

“ ...It's my understanding that the transformation is temporary. Even in a worst case scenario, the damage should be relatively local. ”

Without further ado, Ciel approached Grey with Ashe's Model A and the helmet.

“ ...Are you sure you want to go through with this? ”

“...Don't worry too much, Grey. I'll do my best to make sure you and everyone else are okay, alright? And I bet Mom and the rest of us will do their best too. Ashe is going to be really happy when we help her get out of prison!”

Vent was ready, prepared to tackle this job with fierce resolve and determined to see this through to the bitter end.

"I hope that by the time this situation is dealt with, we can find a way to purge the influence of Model O from that Biometal." Vent had said, his mind focused on the task at hand, at the back of his mind, Ashe being in jail was not a pleasant thought, and he wanted her name cleared.

Blues knew very little about the Biometals and only had information about them from his younger sister Roll who was also going to be a part of the mission too it seemed. Leaning against the wall and whistling a familiar tune Protoman awaited for this whole disaster situation to start. 

The people he met earlier seemed to be ready as well. Vent seemed a little stiff as he was not relaxed in the least and Grey who was going to be the center of this attention was taking a huge risk apparently by letting this Ashe person's Model A become one with him? He swayed his head back and forth as he barely understood what was going on but he felt comfort that Roll was there to watch over the process.

"I get this is like a huge risk and I applaud you for going through this Grey but I think we should not be on edge so easily. Remember to keep calm and stay alert but don't get too serious or you will falter." Protoman was rather wise beyond his years of course as he did after all have a limited life span. He did not mind it much though as he wanted to spend that precious time helping those in need like this Ashe person the girl known as Ciel went on about. "I am ready then." he would nod his head as he continued to lean against the wall.

Grey was worried.

Story of his life, really. He'd been worried for as long as he could remember, granted that wasn't a very long time, but his point still stood. In this case, it was over this experiment. He wanted to help this Ashe person and her Model A, she sounded like a good person after all, but still... There was no guarantee he wouldn't enter the same psychotic state she did. Hell, he was pretty sure he would. And that honestly worried him. He didn't want to hurt anyone just because of the test, and with this being done in a wide open area... Ciel's reasoning made sense, but that didn't mean it wasn't yet another thing running through the back of his mind. 

He looked around at the wide open area. Plenty of space for the other's to work with if he did go crazy, at least, and with the do not enter holographic tape, civilians will be out of the way... It was the best he was gonna get. Grey forced his worries down, and elected to press onward. It's what kept him alive before, it would work just fine now. As Ciel approached, he steeled himself. No point in showing his trepidation now. The others were offering him support, he had to take it.

"Yeah... Yeah I'm sure. Let's do this."

His mind made up, Grey reached over and took the helmet, putting it on. And once that was done, he took Ashe's Model A, before looking to his own.

"We'll go right back to working together after this. I'm not leaving you, got it?"

"Just don't go getting yourself killed, Grey," was the Biometal's quick response, one which would go unheard to all but Ciel, Vent, and Aile's ears.

The young Reploid nodded, and looked to the others.

"I'm counting on you, everyone. But don't do anything reckless on my account."

[DLN-002 Roll Light]

"Oh hi Blues! I didn't know you made it here too," a Roll... identical to the other one in the room. She came out with her broom ready by her side just in case. She did not wish to utilize her equipment against Grey but they'd need to be able to keep him contained if something went wrong. They do not want another incident... Not even sure if her equipment is cut out for it but she had Edd-E on standby if they really needed his help. She wanted to help Ashe no matter what.

"Of course, Grey! No matter what happens we will always be friends~! Let's save Ashe's reputation together!" She assured with a warm smile and nod... She was honestly still very worried. What if there are problems they did not even consider happen? What if one of them does get seriously hurt? What if Grey gets seriously hurt or worst? She did not want to voice that much, he was probably already considering the possiblities.

She walked over to stand by Proto man, broom on hand. She had so much she wanted to talk to Blues, she was also curious why he came here and what happened. Right now though there was another task at hand... Besides, he probably had questions about her too. Either way now wasn't the time for explanations as she stood ready.

The sounds of some advanced hydraulic legs could be heard across the concrete, creating the very obvious sounds of a reploids footsteps, as Zero walked cleanly through the holographic tape, Pensively looking down as the thought raced to his mind...It seemed backwards. Usually, Missions where you had to fight your allies never started that way, with the knowledge you would reach that. However, it was a hauntingly familiar sight for Zero, as he walked to the group in the small Plaza, Looking around. Not much in terms of objects. That was all Zero would ask for, as he raised his arm, Buster appearing over his hand in a configuration of energy as he adjusted the power output on his Arm cannon, before letting it fade as he walked up to the group.

The thought that he would be fighting Grey, reminded him of the many times he had gone Maverick, and he was forced to fight X...Hell, even when he wasnt, but X had been told to fight Zero for the safety of the City. Not to mention Copy X, But that was a bag of worms that Zero wasnt keen on thinking much of. The Fight was ahead, and Zero had to be ready. He had to just imagine this as if he were fighting X Again...Even when he was totally Maverick, he still let X Survive. 

But yet, Knowing Grey could be taken over by a hauntingly familiar evil entity, Gave Zero a moment to take a deep breath and prepare for the worst, before starting with a simple "Hey." Zero would say to the group, raising a hand to them in greeting, as he approached just in time to hear Ciel's words. "Got it...Someone's freedom being on the Line is enough reason for me." Zero would say, Looking over to Protoman...

"Maybe for a mission with no personal stakes, But here? Im afraid there's more than a few. Cant agree, im afraid." Zero would say in direct against to Blues, now turning to Grey and crossing his arms...He wanted to speak to calm Grey's nerves, but...He knew the stakes already. He didnt need to be reminded that his safety was one of Zero's high concerns here, as was everyone else's.

Aile had joined the party a little while after Zero did. Within her hands were both Model X and Z, ready to Megamerge at a moment's notice.

“ All right, Ciel. I'm here. ”

After Ciel updated everyone on the matter at hand, Aile was worried about Grey's predicament. The kid was real brave, offering to merge with a malfunctioning Biometal that made someone go psycho, but who knew what would happen to him after all this? Still, if this 'Ashe' was unjustly arrested for the Biometal rampage, something had to be done.

“ So we're here to fend off Grey in case stuff goes awry. ...Got it. I'm ready. ”

After that, she kept herself quiet, only giving out a small smile to Grey as if to reassure him that everything was going to be okay.

[Doctor Ciel]

Ciel softly smiled at Roll's remark. She was so proud of her robot daughter.

“ It should be pretty obvious on the data from that helmet if there's any brain interference going on. So I think unless the DNA inside Model A is aware of what we're doing and deliberately restrains itself from doing anything, we should at least be confident that we'll get the results we need. ”

Ciel took a deep breath, turning to address the gathered heroes.

“ ...Thank you all for coming here to make sure this goes through smoothly. I owe you all immensely for offering me your support. This isn't the sort of thing that I can petition the Life Sphere for on my own. ”

She then turned to address Grey again.

“ Alright. Let's get started. Grey, I want you to first put on the helmet and then megamerge. It's very flexible, so it shouldn't break or come off during the transformation. But be ready to put it back on if it does. Those little suction cups dangling from it go on your head. They should be above eye level, and so long as you make an effort to space them out around your head there shouldn't be any trouble. ”

The helmet was of course a lot like one of those scalp massagers in terms of how it appeared, only with suction areas that could be pressed against the head to further hold it in place and capture recordings. Atop it was a simple computer designed to broadcast the data to Ciel's phone.

“ Then I want you to megamerge, wait a good ten seconds to establish what that looks like on the graph, and then take on the form of Ashe's Model O sample. ”

“Sissy is right~! There's no way we can't solve this together! I'm really glad you and Miss Aile decided to help us, Big Brother~”

Now this was confusing for sure. It felt like their was a fake roll with the new one that showed up but this new one was more familiar with him than the one he got to know before. It was safe to assume that this Ciel person created one of them herself and the 'real' Roll was the one standing next to him. Sure he felt like he'd panic for a few seconds but on the outside remained calm and collected as he always was.

Two Rolls? Well that was certainly something but he would have to adjust to since now he had two little sisters instead of just one. They could of course take care of themselves like they did before but it would he hard to tell them apart. He couldn't just say Real Roll and Fake Roll because that would be demeaning to both of them. No he had to be clever like he always was and think of a good way to tell them apart without being rude about it. "Hmm maybe Roll 1 and Roll 2?. No that doesn't work either." He mumbled to himself as he tried to think of a good way to tell them apart.

Parted from his thoughts he saw that Grey was going to do a lot more than he had expected as he was to wear a strange helmet that would monitor his brain waves. The man known as Zero pointed out that he disagreed with what he had said earlier prior to his arrival. "Hmm I suppose you are right there. Let me reiterate then. For Grey I'd say just try not to panic if things start to go wrong. We are all here to keep him safe and to make sure this mystery comes to a close."

Back to his thoughts on the Rolls as he was really focused on them for now. "Cienna and Roll?" he said a bit more out loud than before. Together the names meant like Cinnamon Roll which together meant like a sweet dessert eaten by humans and others that can taste food. Cienna for the one Ciel likely made and Roll for well Roll who was made by Dr. Light. It was an interesting concept for sure but he wouldn't give up on a way to tell them apart! He loved both of his sisters equally and wanted the best for them but this whole thing was getting to him a bit so he decided to let it go for now and focus on the mission at hand.

"Right then. Just be careful Grey and remember we have your back." Protoman said with a thumbs up sign and a smile.

"Agreed, we've got your back on this one, but note that if it comes to blows we will have to stop you should Ashes Model A drive you berserk, please understand this." Vent said, giving Protoman a nod that told the robot that he was on board with his choice of words.

It was at this point that he whipped out his two Biometals: Models X and Z. "Now I am certain that some of you here partaking in this have seen me Megamerge, those of you who haven't, get to see it in person for your first time." Vent said calmly as he initiated the Double Megamerge...



...And effectively became the ZX Megaman.

"I'm now ready whenever you are, Aile." Vent would say to Aile with a nod that told her that she would need to Megamerge as a precaution to ensure that there was no problems in the long run leading up to the potential danger of the mission.

Zero didnt seem to give much a reply to Blues in there little topic about calmness, as Zero stood in silence, closing his eyes as he took a deep breath, before exhaling, standing in position ready to begin the combat, feet spread apart and hands at such a position that they could grab either the Z Saber or produce his buster at a moments notice. "Im Ready." Zero bluntly said, His face staying in a calm but determined focus!

“ Happy to help! Just expect a bit of an extra fee when the bill comes if things go awry~ ”

It was quite easy to tell Aile was joking about the bill in question, considering the light smile and small chuckle on her face. It appeared that she wanted to lighten up the atmosphere, though whether or not she succeeded...well, depended on the reaction of her peers.

After that, though, she took a deep breath, recomposing herself back to a more serious mood. It was almost time to begin.

“ All right, joke's over. Like that guy said, no pressure, Grey! We're all here to help you out if anything bad happens. ”

A reassuring smile settled on her lips. She was still pretty worried of what could happen to Grey, but with all these people backing her up, she felt more confident that they could pull this off. She then turned to Vent, who was addressing her.

“ Well, I shouldn't let you wait then! Double Megamerge! ”

Both Model X and Z began to glimmer, and Aile was soon covered in a torrent of data, her basic everyday outfit giving way to the familiar red armor. Once the data surge had subsided, Aile had transformed into her Model ZX form...and she was incredibly similar to Vent now, the more notorious difference being that she was the shorter Mega Men of the two.

“ Right, I'm all set. Everyone, let's do our best. ”

Roll held her broom tighter in antincipation. Even if there was a chance this could go peacefully and without a hitch she had to be ready. Everyone else was readying themselves in case a disaster needed preventing... Well, except her when she looked over to Protoman mumbling to himself, as she was the closest to them. Was he talking about her and her sister? She just curiously watched him for a moment as setup was being done before he mentioned the names.

"Cienna and Roll?" She spoke up at that moment. "Oh! Like nicknames for me and sis~? Were you thinking of Cinnamon Rolls too? Didn't know you had that taste in naming, Blues," She commented before looking to the other Roll. "What do you think about a nickname to help tell us apart, sis? I guess it would be confusing if someone called for one of us during battle and even we were not sure who they meant?" she asked. Afterall, was not going to throw a nickname on her without asking. She already had some troubles being a copy of her in some way even if Roll herself did not mind.
