"Oh yeah, I like to think that I need to train myself, and you clearly don't look like a good source of training because of the massive casualties you brought about in the arena." Vent snarked at Omega, keeping his gun trained on the reploid menace, a near glare at the enemy in front of him now.

Vent would prime the ZX Saber as Omega lunged to try and murder him, only for Ciel to prevent his death by jumping in to retaliate, and he breathed a sigh of relief. "Thanks for the save, Ciel; I thought he had me. Man, I need to get back into training, my aiming really sucks." Vent panted looking at the scene of the battle, and shuddered.

"Damn... If I was just a bit stronger, this mess wouldn't have happened." Vent growled, punching the ground in frustration, teeth gritted so as to keep from remembering 'that' memory of the past.

[DLN-002 Roll Light]

Roll watched in silence as Zero was sliced apart just like... her sister, dropping to her knees for a moment as yet another family member got... torn apart by the threat. Sure, the rational side should say 'They're just robots, they can be fixed... eventually. Hopefully...', on the other hand, that logic was not so easy to accept as it may once be, and it was especially harder to accept for family. Everyone was getting hurt and although it's hard to remember now... It was a friend being forced to hurt them.

Already on her knees, Roll looked back just in time to see a shield flying for her. She knelt quickly, the shield just barely going over her head. Even if she felt barely any pain from the shield, she noticed strands of her hair fall to the ground in front of her. The shield did manage to clip her hairs quite a bit as she felt the strength to get back up lower severely. If this goes on too much longer they'll probably all destroyed too...

However in a moment of protection Ciel managed to weaken Omega to the point he seemed to go back to Grey. She wanted to collapse from all the emotional exhaustion this exercise has put them through... even if she was one of the ones that came out better for ware relatively. In a rather clumsy attempt at a getup and run over, she nearly fell down, still trying to recollect herself as she looked up to Grey and Ciel. While everyone else was... an obvious answer, she had to ask. "Is he going to be okay?" she asked after a moment. A bit strained but she kept her promise... minus a few hairs.

... Darkness. His entire body felt completely numb when he awoke. What... What had he been doing again...? His processors felt so slow for some reason...

Slowly, he opened his eyes, and light began to flood in. So that was why it was so dark... His gaze was still blurry. Something must have gotten banged up at some point... But he wasn't sure what. Or why. Then again, with how often his life was at risk, he supposed he shouldn't be surprised this was a position he was in. It wasn't a first, either...

"Is he going to be okay?"

Wasn't that... Roll? One of them, anyway... And what was with the pink and red in his vision...? Lifting his gaze slightly, his gaze slowly started to clear up. Oh, that was... Ciel, wasn't it? And what was that... Behind... Her. . .

That... That was the other Roll... He wasn't sure which one right off, but he knew it was one of them... And... She... She was in pieces... His eyes widened with a sharp gasp as he realized this, and he promptly pushed himself away from Ciel's grasp, barely standing as he did so. His gaze shot around the area, taking in the damage. And it made him want to vomit. He didn't even know if he could.

And the more his thoughts collected themselves... The more he remembered all of it. Every slash. Every buster shot. Every kill. Every drop of blood that had spilled. Blood that had been spilled by his hand while under the influence of Omega. His breath slowly grew faster as his eyes darted from body to body, and over the scared crowd, before they shot back up to Ciel, Roll, Vent, and the unconscious Aile. This... This was... It was all his fault. It was his idea. His stupid stubbornness. His deal. His promise. His blood that had been spilled. Innocent lives that had been taken. And just because he wanted to help with his stupid, stupid idea. It was entirely his fault that they had been hurt... All his fault.

It was all blood on his hands.

Something about this information... Something about it made him unable to handle it all. The sudden onslaught of pain... The battle... Even in his weakened state... He knew he couldn't stay here. He was a threat that had gotten people killed with nothing but a little naiveté and good intentions. He'd hurt people who had taken him in out of the pure goodness of their heart with his own raw stupidity. Something about this fact... Just made something in him snap. And he screamed for the second time today. He screamed his heart out, and he turned to run the opposite direction, battle damage be damned, as tears ran down his eyes.

He was no better than the average Maverick. At least they didn't greet you with a grin before they put a bullet in your head. He was such a stupid, defective Reploid.

[Doctor Ciel]

A soft squeak of surprise escaped Ciel as she was pushed away from Grey, taken briefly off guard by the gesture. Wait was she about to get shot? Did she mess up? Were they still doing this? ...No. No that wasn't it at all. A wave of guilt washed over Ciel as she listened to Grey scream and cry. She'd let this happen. She'd trusted Grey to handle it knowing full well Ashe hadn't been able to, perhaps out of the mistaken belief he might know something she didn't. And now...

“ G-Grey, no!! ”

Ciel called out after Grey as he ran away, extending an arm out to him. She just barely restrained herself from giving chase, taking a few steps forward. However, something stopped her. Namely all the dead and dying people that desperately needed her help. As much as it HURT her, she could not justify chasing after him. Not now. Not yet.

“ Ciel. If you demerge now your body might not be able to handle your injuries. ”

“  . . . ”

Ciel turned to address Vent and Roll. She was kind of messed up. One of her arms was maimed from the exchange she made with Omega's blade, and she was still kinda suffering internally from that charge shot she got hit by. Her cheeks were stained with tears, and yet she held herself with the composure of someone who was familiar with war and death. Despite all the pain she was in right now, both physically and emotionally, she managed some resemblance of level-headedness.

“ ...Vent. Roll. I've got the data. My laptop was transmitting to the server at home. It picked up something before the drop. Vent, I need you to take that data and get it to the police right now. Take my security key and  request Model A Research Data. That should get you what you need. ”

“ Roll, ...I need you to use your vacuum arm to pick up every piece of Zero and Protoman you can find. I'm going to rebuild them, okay? But I need your help...  ”

Ciel glanced at the fallen Roll. 

“ ...I'm going to give your sister an emergency transmission back home. It's not safe to move her physically yet. ”

Ciel moved over and attached a device to the fallen reploid,  a beam of white light enveloping DLN-002-02 and spiriting her off. She then turned. There was one more person who needed taking care of. Someone who by the looks of it had a concussion.

Moving over, Ciel got down on her knees and began checking Aile's vitals. Once she confirmed Aile was still alive, she got up and bent back over. With considerable strain, considering her arm was maimed, she lifted Aile into her embrace. She shifted Aile around a bit, finding what felt comfortable, before settling on guiding Aile to curl up and carrying her like a baby, her good hand supporting Aile's behind and her good arm supporting her back, with her weaker arm wrapping around her to help hold her against Ciel's body, which required a bit less strength than lifting her. It looked very slightly goofy since Aile was considerably bigger than a baby, but then Ciel was also packing megamerge strength, so she managed to pull it off anyway. Aile's head would be resting against Ciel's chest, just barely reaching her chin level. She'd likely wake up to the very gentle bounce of Ciel's steps as she began the slow walk home.

As Ciel began walking home though, she noticed a wide eyed Alouette watching her, clutching her doll very tightly. She looked horrified. Ciel did her best to offer a weak smile. “...Alouette, it's not safe here. Let's go back home.” she very gently chastised, unsure why Alouette had thought to join them. She hoped she hadn't seen all of that...

As Ciel noticed Aile's eventual awakening, she spoke to her in a hushed tone, attempting to sooth her.

“ ...Hey, everything's okay. I've got you. Try not to move, okay? You took some really bad hits to the head there and I'm worried you might exacerbate the injury if you move around too much. I'm going to take care of you... ”

"Roger that, Ciel." Vent would say as he demerged back to his human form, and would walk back to Ciel's place to do just that, once there, he would use Ciel's security key and get the research Data for Biometal Model A.

"Good, looks like it's all here, now to get this over to the police. I'm positive that those people will release Ashe... Assuming that they aren't going to be a problem once I get them to look at the data." Vent would say to himself as he made sure to request that specific data. After aquiring the Model A research Data, he would place it in within a folder, then into a backpack he kept on his person when he wasn't doing missions, and made to head for the police station.

[DLN-002 Roll Light]

"Grey wait!" Roll called out as she went to follow, only to trip over herself back to her knees. What was wrong with her? Her body wasn't showing any physical damage yet it was taking too long to process all this... Still, she should of really expected that... look Grey had before he ran off. If Rock was made with true free will would he felt the same when he was asked to destroy Robot Masters like Guts Man? Sure, they could repair them as long as care was taken, but that didn't stop the act, right? Then why did it feel so normal before? Things can't be that different, right?

Her train of thought was interrupted by Ciel's voice.... Right, her brothers were in pieces. Repairing them took priority even if she was worried. Thankfully cleaning up pieces and helping repair robots was one of her specialties... Not really feeling like speaking, Roll gave a simple nod before standing up. Her arm shifted from it's buster state to a one more suited for a vacumn and her eyes lighting up a bit, in the literal sense anyway as she had to be through.

Protoman who sacrificed himself to try and slow down Omega because he couldn't go on. Zero and Aile who fought to the end. At least one of them wasn't worst for wear. Roll who got cut down before she could even try. Vent who... well, at least he tried and came out with barely a scratch like her. Dr. Ciel was probably not very good with these events either and Grey... She can't even begin to imagine how this impacted him. They were so foolish. Hopefully the data will be enough to prove Ashe able to be trusted again so this wasn't for nothing. They'll need to worry about Grey later as much as she hated to admit it...

Roll let out a deep breath like she sees humans do. Not really much achievement in her case but it was all she had for the calming down as she made sure to collect all the pieces so they could repair Zero and Blues....

Aile’s attempt at wrestling free from Omega’s grapple was met by a brutal shield bash….and another one...and another one. The repeated strikes blurred her vision and gradually made it harder for her to maintain consciousness, until the final strike knocked her out cold…

...though that wouldn't last long.

Aile would stir slightly once Ciel grabbed her, though she wouldn't start to reawaken until she felt the steps of the scientist. Slowly but surely, her eyes opened up, and vision returned to her. Ciel's megamerged form briefly confused Aile, though the confusion would (mostly) dissipate once the Ciel turned to face her.

“ ...Ci..Ciel...? What...happened? --Ow, my head...! ”

“ Hey, kid! You're awake! Keep yourself merged with me and Model X. Your body took a bunch of damage, and it isn't gonna handle the injuries otherwise. ”

“ Mm. It'd be wise to heed to Model F's advice. ”

“ Oh...R-right... ”

The quick talk with her Biometals was quickly interrupted by Ciel's hushed words. Was...was it over? Did they manage to take down Omega? While she didn't move, Ciel could feel Aile relax after being reassured that yes, everything was okay (...for the most part, anyway). She still had some questions, but those...were matters for another time. Aile stood quiet for a couple of moments before speaking up again.

“ Hey, Ciel? ...Thanks for the help. ”

...Admittedly, it felt kind of...odd being in this position, but hey, she really did appreciate the help.
