"Huh.... Does kind of put a damper on it now that you think about it. People in Kanto used to not even think a girl could become Champion until Blue beat Red. Girls playing DnD seems just as likely I guess," Moon pondered in disappointment that she could not add this to her list of achievements without a high chance of being called out for being a girl. Granted, she was very young when Blue became Champion of Kanto, but it was inspirational to her. It felt really good when she finally had a chance to fight Red and Green for herself and won. Maybe one day she could test herself against her childhood idol? Nowadays that just seemed to be pretty normal before she became the first Champion of Alola. "Though times have changed a bit so maybe they'd believe us?" she continued to ponder aloud before realizing there was a game still going on they have not won.

"Oh yeah, we might want to get anything we can find... It'd probably be someone with connections that we'd need to convince for info which is dangerous. We could try that mind tricks but if that does not work, Luna and I can try to stay back in the shadows in case things go south. After all, an Archer and Beast Mistress work best from a distance and tactical advantage," Moon suggested, being an archer naturally she'd pick the character class of a scout since she has pretty good familiarity with the field.

Tatl was already rubbing her hands enthusiastically as Ciel and the genie, who was seeming less and less intimidating by the second, outlined their options for the next course of action. So they had to search for someone with inside information and "convince" them to spill the whereabouts of he bandits' hideout? It didn't sound too difficult; the fairy nodding in agreement at Midna's comment. "Mhm. If we find someone, it'd probably be easy to get them under my control too!" Tatl acknowledged, flitting over the table before lowering her glowing form onto the end of Midna's mask; the fairy lounging on the structure with a mischievous chime.

"But I think you guys are honestly overthinking this whole thing!" Gears were already turning in the small enchantress' mind. "We already know some of those bandits ambush the road outside... so we should set up a trap!" Chiming loudly to get everyone's attention, Tatl glowed a bit brighter as she enthusiastically attempted to formulate her plan. "Me, Ringo, and Midna will go down the road and 'get ambushed' while Ciel, Valorie, and Moon come in to help us ambush them from afar! They'll never see it coming!" This was actually proving to be really fun for the fairy! Most times Link pretty much ignored all of her combat advice or strategies (...well, when she was actually giving them and not simply berating the poor hylian with sarcastic quips); so this was proving to be an exciting opportunity for Tatl. Not to mention her allies were actually listening!

"I still don't really understand why girls can't play this game. We're kicking butt at it!" Floating gracefully off of Midna finally with a chime, the fairy trailed a stream of golden light as she weaved in and out between the players before coming to a slow stop at "her seat" once more. "Boys sure can be really dumb some times, huh?"

Listening to everyone's remarks, Ciel found herself taking pause at two of them. At Tatl's last remark, she glanced up at Erazor Dijinn, who glared at her silently from where he stood floating over the table. Y'know, given tonight's circumstances she wasn't inclined to argue--though she wasn't certain that 'stupid' was the best descriptor for the monster currently dominating their gaming session.

--Blue was Kanto's first female champion? Y'know, I never would've guessed that from meeting her. ...I wonder why she never talks about it.

Maybe we can make a wish that'll force everyone to believe us after we defeat this genie!

Valorie shrunk a bit in her seat, successfully intimidated into nervous silence.

. . . Anyway, it seems like Tatl may have an elegant solution to our problem. Our DM might attempt to mislead us if we go searching for information on the bandits. It would be very easy to have a bandit tell us what we want to hear and then have them turn traitor and inform their friends before we get there. ...What if Ringo and I went as the bait? My character can use her druidic magic to pretend to be a normal riding horse, and Ringo's character is our toughest party member, so she should be best equipped to handle an attack. With the speed of a horse on our side, we should be able to chase any retreating bandits back to their camp.

Boys, dumb? A very stereotypical 'girl club' saying, but in truth, that's just some nonsense bordering on Chaotic "female supremacy" Stupid. Ringo has a few guy friends, and knows what Lemres and Schezo are capable of, but she shouldn't be picking a fight on an unexpectedly high-stakes tabletop adventure over that. That fairy is starting to test Ringo's patience, though.

That argument with the genie isn't getting anywhere... If the group doesn't play the game, then what progress is to be had?

Arguing aside, Tatl does have one sound idea: lure them out.

"Yeah, that sounds like a good plan. I can withstand a beating if I took the lead. Timing the ambush, though, is another thing to consider."

"...Well you're just a big ball of sunshine, aren't you Mr. Genie?" Tatl mockingly addressed their Genie-GM, after having sat through his exchange with Valorie and Ciel in annoyed silence. What was this dude's deal anyway? If all he wanted was to get out, threatening his hosts was a sure dumb way to do it; not to mention the fact that he seemingly couldn't go five seconds without sending death threats someone's way. "Hey, you're the one intruding on our game, so why don't you pipe down and let us play without making death threats every five seconds."

She couldn't help but mockingly scoff at Erazor, miming haughty laughter all the while. "Besides, if you're such an all powerful and evil genie, how'd you get trapped in the game anyway? Someone sounds like they're all bark and no bite~" Silently punctuating her sentence by sticking out her tongue at Erazor, Tatl let out a gleeful ring before returning her attention back to the game. After all the scary and scarring things she'd experienced and seen, a big-talking purple guy with no shirt wasn't going to dent her!

"Anyway, those are some good points you're bringing up. Buuut I still think I should head in with Ringo and Ciel, in case I need to "sweet talk" any of the bandits. The rest of you can tail us from farther back and then ambush them when the time's right!"

Midna listened to Tatl and Ciel's plan (as well as Valorie's argument with Erazor) in silence, until Tatl started to run her mouth again.

"Maybe don't taunt the genie giving death threats, Tatl?" she asked quietly, looking up at fairy floating above the table. Midna didn't know exactly how powerful Erazor was, but maybe it was best if they not try to poke the bear, or in this case, the giant fatal-sounding genie. "Anyway, I think that this plan could work. Tatl, Ringo and Ciel can give a signal so we know when to move in. Then the rest of us can rush in and take care of all the bandits at once. Let's get going!" Midna was eager to get out of the town and finally get to do some actual fighting now. Y'know, unless the genie could put a roadblock in the way.
