Special Items
Festive Frag x6
These grenades should normally be given out in packs of six. Each one contains Christmas shenanigans and can be tossed at an enemy with a flat accuracy roll of 16. The effects of the grenade are determined by rolling a 1d6.
1) The victim is trapped inside either a present box or a present sack and afflicted with a semi-sleep status. They are unable to act but are conscious enough to be aware of what is happening to them. Like sleep, they will be freed if they or the sack are attacked.
2) The victim is consumed by a monster snowman, trapping them in an icy prison. Acts as the freeze status, only they take 4% damage each turn.
3) Every enemy in the area is attacked by a swarm of Christmas gnomes that bite them, dealing 10% damage and inflicting the poison status.
4) A Christmas tree violently erupts from the ground, dealing 10% damage to the victim. A squirrel then lunges out, attacking an enemy for 4% damage for 3 turns.
5) The victim is suddenly wearing an ugly Christmas sweater. An awful fruitcake is also explosively propelled into their mouth, inflicting them with the sickness status ailment and inflicting 10% damage.
6) Santa runs them over in his sleigh. It's a hit and run! The victim takes 30% damage.
Smash Spirit
These strange spirits contain the phantom essences of other characters stripped from them either during their time here on Li or by other more mysterious means. They could be the spirit of any fictional character, even those who wouldn't normally be site legal! You can equip these spirits to gain a permanent increase of 1 to a given base stat! (Note: not modifier) If you'd like, you can have the smash spirit be the spirit of a character that was known for this stat. The existence of a Smash Spirit does not necessarily imply that a character is dead, as sometimes they are merely the 'memory essence' of a character rather than the complete spirit. However, you may feel free to portray them as if they are conscious spirits regardless.
To decide which stat an individual Smash Spirit increases, roll 1d6! You may only gain a maximum of 8 stat points via Smash Spirits. Since they modify base stats, they will not allow you to bypass the base stat cap of 20.
Pumpkin Candy Bucket x1: Scarf down a bag of delicious candy! Heals you for 20 HP, but you suffer the sickness status. If you can't get sick, you only heal for half.
Can of Ectoplasm x1: Drink this sketchy ooze to make yourself very sick! ...I mean a ghost! ...Wait that's worse. You become incorporeal for 5 turns.
