The situation is dire. With no idea where the divine spark was lost during the battle with Dharkon, adventurers, heroes, villains, and opportunists alike have taken to the Emerald Coast to search. You find yourselves among them for one reason or another. Perhaps you seek to take it for yourself and gain divine powers. Perhaps you need it to pay off an insurmountable debt. Or perhaps you recognize the folly of entrusting such power to any one hand, and you seek to prevent anyone from ever holding it again. One thing is for sure, powerful players have been attracted and they won't be content to let you run off with it if you find it first.

Your search has, by chance, led you to the ruins of the death egg. A good quarter mile from the base of the ruined fortress, Marisa stood with an expression of awe and disgust on her face.

"...What is the point of making a fake moon if you're just going to put your face on it??" she asked in bewilderment, observing the giant Eggman stache on the ruined death egg. She was, of course, assuming that the death egg was supposed to imitate the appearance of the moon for stealth reasons. The thought of anyone trying to colonize space by building their own mechanized planet was alien to her. ...Pun intended.

Raffina walked into the god war with one goal in mind. Destroy it once and for all to end the war. As long as it was out there it was going to cause problems no matter who had it. That left one solution, cut it asunder with her god slaying knives so it's no longer a threat. Maybe if she had that power she could reach Amitie's and the other's levels-... No, she couldn't entertain that thought right now.

"So you don't know where the power is?" Raffina asked as she glanced skyward. "Nope~! You're going to have to find that on your own. Don't worry though, I'm sure you can do it!" the voice chimed in her head almost as if on cue. "... Of course," Raffina gave somewhat confidently... Until the voice chimed in again. "... So, destroy or take the power for yourself?" it asked as if knowing her wavering confidence. "... Destroy naturally..." she returned simply as she approached where a witch looking figure was looking at a strange giant orb. No, probably wasn't it.

"Yeah, the taste is just tacky. Ohohoho~!" Raffitrois chimed, holding a hand close to her side while cautiously watching Marisa.

The little noises if metal on metal came from a little vessel poking around at some of the metal scraps strewn about. They knew what they were looking for was important, and that it was some kind of sparkly, but that didn't seem to narrow it down very much. And so every piece of shiny the vessel came across was poked with their needle. From the shadows underneath some pieces tendrils pushed up, lifting things enough for the little bug to take a peek before haphazardly dropping them again once they were done.

Dragging herself down the side of the Death Egg, Velvet's Daemon claw was out in full force as she slid down the side of the Death Egg, Landing on the Egg's pointed nose and walking forward as she scowled down upon the populace. She had heard what was happening-- or rather, what was about to occur. A War for the Power of a God? It made Velvet sick. Velvet had her goal set in mind. The God's had caused humanity to bring her this much suffering in her life. And the chance for any evil bastard to come up and get it and become a Deity?? Velvet had pretty strong opinions on that and most of them involved Big Claw Face Yum Yum,


And so, Velvet sat on the Nose of the Space Station, Awaiting for...Something to happen. A Big Explosion, a Big Light, the signs of Fighting. Then, she would come down, and tear everything she saw apart. "...I wont let this happen again."

“Narcissism? Ego? A secret feeling of inferiority, so he has to surround himself with things that look like him to make him feel better? All of the above? Could very well be none of these, but if I were a betting hedgehog, I’d guess the latter.”

Shadow answered the question Marissa made. The hedgehog moved forward toward the entrance of the Death Egg as his initial smirk fell into a bit of a stern stare, taking in the sight of the space station. Or maybe it’s just a Robotnik thing… Shadow huffed a little, letting loose some tension. This wasn’t quite like the Ark- when he’d get in there, he may find it’s not really anything like it -there was still something unsettlingly familiar about it.

How long had it been since he stepped foot in his old home? Was he really up to this?

The hedgehog pushed those thoughts to the side. None of that mattered, when did that ever matter? All that mattered was what this space station possibly held, and the massive consequences it had if it fell in the wrong hands…

…In Shadow’s opinion, the only good thing done to something that dangerous was to destroy it. Sure, that may be hypocritical, but Shadow wasn’t a stranger to being one. Not when it meant doing what he thought was right. In any case, they all knew there were “wrong hands” for this thing to fall into, but Shadow didn’t think there were “right hands” for this thing to fall into either.

While Shadow was willing to work with these people, he wasn’t about to let any of them get ahead if he could help it. Shadow turned a little to look at the other people involved and nodded. “Let’s get moving, shall we?”

Checking the area around where Vessel was, was Sea Draco, the half-dragon sifting through the larger and higher up scraps for their sake. Slightly muttering too herself about some of the metal being fit for pot, before her attention shifted back too her roommate and the rest of the party. A wave of anxiety washing over her a bit as she saw them all. She came out here, not because she thought she was fit for spark, but because she was worried about Vessel going out. Memories of the last time something major like this happening had compelled her too go out with them at the start this time.

She didn't say much but she'd turn back too Vessel, her tail tapping them on the head to get their attention focused on Shadow up ahead.

Haseo always was one to take these dangerous missions because he loves the challenge. Granted the last time he did one of these he nearly died again but missions like this make him stronger. Seeing as a familiar face of Velvet being there from his last big mission made him smile a bit. That was reassuring since he didn't really know many of the others here, sure he has seen a few of them around the Life Sphere so there was that. Taking notice of the others here Haseo would feel it best to introduce himself as well.

"Hey there I'm Haseo. Good to see you again Velvet, looks like we are on a big mission together once more. So that Divine Spark thing is in here presumably? This will be interesting." Haseo said looking at the Death Egg with interest. He definitely had to agree with Shadow on the whole Robotnik guy, he sure was egotistical from the last time he encountered the guy in the last mission he was in. Well whatever the case this mission ought to be interesting, that was for sure.

Marisa jerked her her gaze away from the death egg to glance at the girl who interrupted her thoughts, somewhat taken off guard. She had been aware of others in the area, but hadn't expected any of them to listen in on her musings. ...Bubblegum pink hair. Nice. Then a little monster showed up and started giving her a bit more insight. "...Oh." she replied in dissatisfaction. That explanation somehow didn't make this better. "...He could use a bit of a shave, yeah~?" she light-heartedly joked at Eggman's expense. As Shadow moves to head inside though, and as Velvet begins sliding down the side of the death egg... Something bursts out of the Death Egg above her, showering her with some light debris. "I found it!!" Flandre announced, holding up a sparkly shiny. The more educated amongst the party might recognize this as an energy cell in a glass container. Nearby, easily missed due to her lack of movement, Remilia looked up to see what her sister had managed to acrue. "...Flandre, that's--" she began to correct, only for the energy cell to crack and then explode in Flandre's face spontaneously, knocking her over. Remilia grimaced. She should've known better than to think Flan would uh... be able to contribute to the search here, to be honest. She barely knew what the outside world looked like, so describing a divine essence, especially when she herself wasn't confident of its appearance, was a rough one. After a moment, Flandre hopped back up and pumped her arms in the air. "Wow, I feel great! Godhood really packs a punch." she announced rather obliviously. She then began floating down to to the ground, having spotted some others around and picked out one in particular that she recognized. "Hey, I know you! You know how to play hard." Flandre sassily greeted, leveling a finger at Marisa. Marisa in turn narrowed her eyes. Great. More monsters. ...And why did she feel so anxious around this one? "...Sorry, I don't have time to play with you. I still have to go back to my job, yeah? --Uh??" Marisa began to dismissively reply, discreetly repulsed by the eerily eager vampire child. She didn't even bother to comment on how Flandre knew her. Frankly, she didn't want to know the other. She seemed a bit nuts. However, as she spoke, Flandre lunged out and grabbed her by the wrist, a toothy grin on her face. She watched with glee in anticipation of whether her touch would hurt the other. And to her disappointment, Marisa began to cry out in agony as invisible forces shattered the bones in her forearm and hand, doing incredible internal damage that wasn't immediately visible beyond her hand going limp. Marisa dropped to her knees in front of Flandre. "LET. GO." she screamed out, to which she only got a devilish giggle in response. "...It's not nice to pretend you don't know someone." Flandre lightly chided in a less playful tone in response,  declining to do as asked. Nearby Remilia floated down to join her, watching in discreet amusement. "...Seems my 'sister' would like to play and explore her new powers. Try not to die~" she calmly remarked in a mockingly sympathetic tone that betrayed her lack of concern for their safety. Raffina gave a look over to Shadow... Huh, he seemed vaguely familiar... Ah well, not important. Ego, huh? That's... one way to describe it. He certainly looks like he had a plenty of self-love to go around. "Ohoho, I agree, that mustache does need some dire care," she nods in agreement before something bursted out from the Death Egg. Wait, what did she have in her hand- "The divine essence?!" Raffina questioned as she stood her ground and the seeker exploded from the divine power of the-"... Raffina, honey, no. That was nothing like what you are looking for..." the voice in her head corrected. "... Huh, how are you sure?" Raffina questioned mentally as she adjusted her footing to unready herself. "I know my divine essences, that was just some energy container. Be on guard though, these are vampires. They are exceptionally powerful... No gods but they are fearsome for a mortal like you," the voice off handedly warned.

Just then the witch girl's arm was broken almost instantly. Did she did that just by touching it? "... Raffina, you don't need to fight these two. You simply need to procure the Divine Essence first," the voice reminded her. Raffina considered this for a moment, looking between the deadly child. She had her priorities and if that wasn't the real one she had to find it quick. She wasn't part of this game so she didn't need to force herself to be... If it was one vampire maybe but what was she supposed to do against two of them if the other one started attacking?  "... Have fun with your games then. You don't need me for this," Raffina decided this fight was not worth the risk and started to make towards looking around the Death Egg for that divine essence.

"..... So, that's it?"

"... What do you mean that's it?"

"Afraid of two night terrors?"

"I'm not afraid! You said yourself this fight was not worth it!"

"I said you don't need to. Any further implication you got from that was what you interpreted."

"... Look, we know the Divine Essence is more important than fighting senseless battles if I can avoid them."

"So you want to leave her to get her arm shattered and probably worst?"

"No, but it's not our concern. We don't know her and I'd rather keep my arms and legs, thank you."

".... So you'll sacrifice her for god power like Amitie? I'm disappointed."

"What? No! This is different from that!"

"How so?"

"Like I said, she's a complete stranger to me. It's not like I'm sacrificing someone we know. If it stops the god powers from getting into the wrong hands it's worth it."

"... Is that what you earnestly believe? I saved your life, a complete stranger's and outfitted you for revenge. Is that not the same?"

".......... Why are you pushing this so hard anyway? Why do you care about something we didn't come here to do?"

"Hoohoohoo~! Who knows~? Keep searching if that'll still keep your conscious clear..."

.... Raffitrois is wasting her turn searching instead of fighting. Also internal arguements.

"I Found It!!" Was the first call that Velvet had heard to make her eyes open, Glancing down in the direction where she had heard the call. A Crack and Flash of Light was what followed, as Velvet's eyes widened. Her Target was found, as Velvet Leapt down from the Tip of the Death Eggs nose, Landing on the ground and seeing the Conflict begin to rise. She landed behind Remilia, Looking just in time to peace things together. This Girl...Flandre. She Found it? Velvet squinted a bit...This was a Child. Velvet felt herself stop a moment as she looked at the scene of the Child crushing Marisa's arm. 

She had promised herself she would aide humanity by stopping the Divine Spark where it would show up-- And by Velvet's definitions, This Child absolutely was wielding divine power. Velvet sighed. "...Im sorry." Velvet said, Before rushing in, her Arm Engulfed with Dark Power, as she attempts to run into Flandre's Flank, and Smash her aside with her Daemon Claw! "Devour!"

Vessel's head perked up as someone called out announcing their discovery. Their little legs starting to wander in the direction of the noise as they tapped over all of the scrap. It seemed kind of early for it to be found already, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. It sounded like whatever it was finding it as soon as possible was priority, to make sure it didn't end up in the hands of--

As a scream ran out Vessel immediately picked up the pace, their tattered wings flicking out and buzzling slightly, trying to push them along faster towards the sounds of the shouting. They came over a wall of wreckage with a leap, glancing between the current participants as they floated down to land beside them. There was Marisa, not requiring much inspection to realize she was the one that screamed, and beside her two girls that seemed vaguely similar, and then one more, who looked ready to fight.

Velvet took the first move, aiming at one of the girls. That means they're probably the one that injured the other girl. It was enough for Vessel, their arms reaching out from their cloak and pressing into the dirt beneath them. A flash of dark rose from their body and covered their white head, briefly consuming them as the ground rustled, shifting black spears rising from the shadows around the fighters.

As soon as the dark lifted from them they brought a hand back, grasping their nail and kicking off the ground, using the risen tentacles to quickly dash around Flandre, back and forth in a confusing array. A careful eye would notice a small glint trailing behind them, a small sliderweb of metalic string trailing behind them and anchored by the tendrils from the earth, before the tendrils all lurched forwards, letting the thread collapse in around them while also jabbing in suddenly from all directions, thrashing at the two girls.

With one final dash Vessel snatched their nail back, twisting it to cut the end of the string, leaving the rest to hopefully constrict Flandre as they let the momentum carry them a bit away to look back and observe.

At first she felt relief at the sound of someone finding the Spark, they could get out of here now that the search was done, she didn't want too be out in such a dangerous place anyway... But then it exploded and shortly after she heard that scream as she caught site of the two girls. Her eyes widening at she saw Vessel take off before she could react. Her eyes finally catching site of Marisa and...

As she saw Marisa's arm, and Vessel charging forward towards her, a memory came back too Sango. The sight of Vessel hurt, several beasts of pure darkness standing over them. The sheer terror and anxiety at one of her few friends getting injured like that. It all hit her at once...

And it drove her forward.

Moving with as much speed as she could muster, Sea Draco took off after her Little Ghost. Her tail moving up before opening it's maw wide and spitting out a trio of small, green and purple mushrooms. Sango leaping into the air too give herself a better shot as she tossed all three of those mushrooms, the air seeming too catch the last one and toss it right into Flandre's face. All of them exploding into poisonous spores as they made contact with something.

As she started to fall, Sango would beat her wings, using them too keep her afloat for a few seconds longer as her cheeks filled up with water. Pressurizing it as she launched a stream of salt water at Flandre, soaking her clothes if it struck as the Draco started too fall again

After the initial barrage of attacks... Sango would land and take in a deep breath as she pulled a strange chain and sickle. She seemed too steel herself, she didn't like the idea of using this, but she didn't have much of a choice right now. The Draco suddenly sending it whipping forward towards Flandre. The scythe slashing out, leaving a stain of darkness that seemed to radiate pain with each blow that struck afterwards.

(Dark Harvest! Does 10 damage, and causes all attacks that hit to deal an additional 2 damage until Sango's next turn.

As her attacks ended, she'd rush up too Vessel, all too make sure they were okay as she did her best too keep close too them incase anything bad happened.

The hedgehog was only brought out of his thoughts by the shout of someone shouting they had “found it” causing him to twitch a little before turning in that direction. His head may have spun if the thought didn’t occur to him that finding something of that magnitude of power couldn’t have possibly been that easy to acquire. As it turned out, he was right. It was just an energy boosting device of some kind that seemed to make one of the two sisters… even more hyper than she already was.

The device seemed to make the girl keen on showing off her “power” which seemed to be nothing more than a buff of some kind. Regardless, he didn’t imagine telling her that would be an easy feat, and now she was, as her sister put it “testing her power out”. Well, Shadow was certain there was a better way of testing her power than to restrain someone, but this was the method she chose…

…And with that came immediate consequences.

Now, Shadow didn’t necessarily want to get dragged into a fight right at the start of the mission. Despite his title and his scary appearance, he usually made an effort to try and talk things out before getting into a big fight… provided he felt like talking would work. Clearly this girl couldn’t be talked out of what she was doing, so regardless of what Shadow wished, it seemed like fighting was the only option.

The girl wanted to “test her power” so at least the hedgehog couldn’t get too guilty if she got hurt. She asked for this after all.

It seemed like everyone but Raffina, who seemed too busy doing other things, agreed with him.

As much as Raffina’s actions… or lack thereof, may have warranted some attention, Shadow decided that Flaundre needed to be taught a lesson about “great power”. The hedgehog reached back over his shoulders and took out a long sword as he stared Laundre down. He crouched down a little before dashing past the young girl a little before slashing at the air sending a shockwave toward her back. The hedgehog would then place his sword back in its sheath before his stern gaze instantly formed into a confident smirk.

“...That’s just sad. If you can’t keep yourself under control with a battery, then you won’t stand a chance just standing next to an artifact with god-like power.”

Not giving the girl much of a chance to respond, the black hedgehog instantly started rolling into a ball and launched at the girl’s head, attempting to bounce off her head before ending up on the other side of the girl, still spinning. This time she was spinning at the girl in different directions, showcasing a taste of his speed. At the end of the attack, the black hedgehog unrolled and straightened himself out and folded his arms over his chest.

“I’d suggest you put a stop to this nonsense, or I might have to actually try.”

Haseo had not expected these two to show up when they came to investigate the death egg but when Marisa's arm was broken that was the breaking point for Haseo and it seemed many others as they attacked those two girls who were claiming they had godhood or something. Haseo didn't care really so he would start things off by releasing his Beast Awakening first and foremost then attacking Flandere with his Gale Blade attack. 

Beast Awakening Activated! All of Haseo's Allies get a +2 to STR and DEX for 3 turns!

A red aura surrounded him and his allies as he did the Beast Awakening ability before Haseo charged at Flandere for a Gale Blade attack.

You give Flandre a good smack from behind getting a bit of a yelp out of her,  though she resists being knocked back with a brute strength unbeffiting her size.  So your swing kinda stops dead in  its tracks against her after a brief skid, leaving her staring at you with a bemused expression upon her face,  still holding Marisa. Which ... fair enough, they really don't look the part. I'm glad you did instead of just metagaming that you probably shouldn't. But the fact remains that they are full of unlife energy instead of life energy, so you're about to get a bit of an upset stomach. ((Velvet! Your CON stat is reduced by 2 for 24 hours. Additionally, if you die before those 24 hours are up, you will rise the next night as a vampire.)) ((Velvet! Not really understanding what was happening to her, Flandre screams in fright and yanks herself away,  tearing the back of her dress a bit in the process! She then turns on Velvet.  "...Uhuhuhu... What kind of sick deviant would bite my dear sister?" Remilia remarks in mock disgust and confusion. "I should punish you for that." Remilia calmly adds,  ...and then makes no such attempt, because as much as she knew this would be bad for Flandre,  ...it sure was entertaining. Flandre, meanwhile, was flustered and furious, and absolutely intended to take it out on Velvet. She conjured a strange wand in her hand that immediately ignited into a massive flaming sword several times her length.".......I don't like the way you play!!" she shouts in childish rage before making several wide sweeps with the blade,  each one sending crescent waves of fire sweeping out across the battlefield! She glares at the bug creature before jerking high into the air and floating back down a good 20 feet away, her sword vanishing. Marisa, however, is also struck repeatedly by the attacks and cries out in pain. In Flandre's place, Remilia takes the field! She floats down next to Raffitrois. "...You like to move fast, huh? I was hoping to save this for Sonic, but I guess you'll do." she softly remarked, audible only to herself and Raffitrois. Noteworthily though, she isn't speaking to Raffitrois, or paying attention to her at all. She hadn't been convinced there was any fun to be had dragging her into the fight. Blue Vessel, on the other hand, had gotten her attention with his extreme movement speeds.  Suddenly,  several beams of 3 foot radius brilliant light shoot out and bend around Blue Vessel's immediate area, not directly targeting him such that he could stand still, but creating a hazard to be sure. Especially since, again, they seem to be bending and turning unpredictably. p_1d20+8 ((Remilia's Divine Punishment "Young Demon Lord" Terrain effect; Any time Blue Vessel wants to move, including actions such as dodging and attacks, he has to make a DC 14  wisdom check or be intercepted by a meme laser for 20 damage. If you want to make an attack without moving at all, a laser will be blocking your view and you should treat yourself as if you were afflicted by the blind status for that attack.)) "...Do keep running around~" Remilia casually instructs, smiling as she waited to see what the speedster would do. Sango Thwack! A couple of mushrooms hit Flandre's face before she holds produces and holds up a teddy bear, hiding behind it and using it to shield herself from the remaining attacks. She then peaks out and pouts slightly at her damaged bear before stowing it and summoning a spell to retaliate. "You look like tonnes of fun~! Try not to die, alright?!" she blurts out in a rather playfully aggro fashion, before summoning a storm of rainbow lights to fire off at Sango like a storm of energy. Flandre gets taken off guard and a Gale Blade slips into her chest, a blow that would have dealt a mortal wound.  ...If she were alive. Flandre wheezes slightly in a pained fashion as she drew back slightly, briefly clutching at the wound on her chest, a brief glimpse of mortal pain passing over her that gave way to a wicked smile and a bestial scream as she lunged for Haseo. p_1d20+8 (Flandre's Paroxysm; She's grappling Haseo, lifting him into the air, and then diving back to the ground to slam him into it with bone shattering force; Deals 40 damage and afflicts disabled (strength)) Shadow ...Only to get knocked away by repeated strikes from Shadow. Whack! Whack! She staggered off balance, only to abruptly grab Shadow on his last homing strike. Seems he got a little too comfortable believing he was safe repeating that attack over and over again. The bloodied vampire met Shadow's taunts with unsettling giggling at an unspoken joke and a toothy, eager grin. Being a vampire and all, you might expect her to try and bite him. But she doesn't. Instead ... she hugs Shadow! Very tight. ((Shadow! You have been critically counter-grappled. You are being hugged for 10 squish damage)) "You're so cyuuute~! Please try your hardest not to die. I don't wanna break you." Flandre affectionately remarks, burying her cheek against Shadow and snickering. Aaand Shadow is just getting the Teddy Bear treatment. Each droplet is infused with the energy of undeath, sapping life from all living characters in the area. It was Remilia's Dark Sign "Scarlet Netherworld". She takes out a frilly umbrella and daintily, performatively takes shelter underneath it,  offering some room to Raffitrois, who she was still next to.  What a nice person. I bet she'd never do anything awful. p_1d20+8 ((Everyone! Make a DC 16 CON roll or take 25 damage from the blood rain.
