"... Everyone else is going maybe a bit too hard. I don't need to worry about it..." Raffina relented after a moment, glancing back to the action happening behind her. "... Alright, if that's your final answer~" the voice in her head cheerfully concluded the internal talk. As the fight went on it was clear she was strong for her appearance... And one of them disappeared... The one that got her arm broke.

She flinched a bit as the sister that wasn't previously doing much appeared next to her and-... Wasn't talking to her? She gave a confused brow raise at Remilia as she didn't do anything she could notice. Until the beams started showing... 

Just then it started to rain red and she was worried about her appearance, covering herself without considering the other side-effects at first... Before realizing she was already covered by one of the enemy... Huh, come to think of it she really didn't know who the bad guys were here yet. She just kind of assumed the painful play was a threat but... was the others any better? Would she of been in the wrong to help fight Flandre? She didn't have a fine line here to say either side was Evil right now. She still wanted to destroy the god essence above all else but... she couldn't step into the red rain. It might stain her armor!

"... Is there any reason you're offering me protection from the rain and... not striking me down?" she decides to ask after a moment. "I'm very grateful, just a little... lost I guess," she decides to ask after a moment, just sitting down for the time being. She really doesn't know who she should help right now... And the initial victim she couldn't see now so it's not like defending them was a priority... It was already 5 on 2 so it's not like she was adding to the number games much. Her god slaying weapons only really work if they can finish off a demon or god after all.

…Well, he didn’t precisely stand on his own two feet. During his Spin Dash onslaught, Shadow had found himself in the girl’s arms… somehow. However, before he even realized what was happening, he flinched as the full force of his last Spin Dash, and then some, was sent right back at him with a grunt as he was embraced. Was… was that hug a counter?

After the realization hit him that he was still being hugged, the black hedgehog started trying to force himself out of the girl’s grip. “Back… Off!” He grunted trying his best to force his way out of her arms only to puff out a sigh as it didn’t seem to do much in the way of her letting go. Hm… seemed like he underestimated her a bit.

Shadow gritted his teeth and proceeded to squirm and try his best to wiggle his way out furiously. “I am not cute! I am dangerous! Let me go right-!” A feeling of unease suddenly went up the black hedgehog’s spine as he felt an unhinged power almost start to overwhelm him. The black hedgehog squinted his eyes shut as his squirming started to be a bit more precise. The striped hedgehog seemed to be holding his breath in hopes of getting himself in just the right position to avoid the pain as much as possible.

Despite Shadow’s unease, the feeling came and went without incident. Shadow, miraculously, resisted what he could only assume was an attack of some sort just fine.

But that wasn’t the end!

Before Shadow could properly prepare, the blood rain started falling, causing the black hedgehog to wince and his in a bit of pain as he had no real way to defend himself as he helplessly struggled in Flandre’s arms. The black hedgehog let out a sigh when the rain finished, but with no real way to attack, the hedgehog could only continue to squirm.

He… really hated grapples.
