Nobody was not having fun. He was on a hired mercenary mission and he was not having fun. That was a very dangerous combination of situations when he was involved.

Nobody was taking the verbal abuse from his charge in complete silence, staring them down the dead-eyed, glowing pink glare of his emotionless helmet. Every fiber of his being wanted to retort, to cram one of those beer cans down Bad Girl's throat, maybe tie her to one of the cage walls and find a pitching machine to fire at her--but he couldn't go off the rails. No, even with his chaotic nature, the job was the job. Even if "the job" was to protect a drunk, crazy, pretty-pink piece of shit like Bad Girl. [...I miss Peach.]

He'd accepted the job pretty last-minute. It wasn't every day that an employer specifically sought you out when starting off fresh, so there was already the incentive to boost his notoriety, but then the contract had made mention of a so-called "keyblade chick" that was intercepting his hire. Now it wasn't super likely considering how many female residents of the Life Sphere had keyblades, but on the off chance it was that moody psycho that nearly screwed him over on his last job, he just had to show up and ruin their day. And if it didn't turn out to be her, he could still try nabbing the keyblade from whoever it was. A win-win as far as he was concerned... well, assuming it wasn't that girl from the library, but what were the odds of tha-

"--Oh come on." Nobody's filtered and modulated groan crackled from his visor as he witnessed Sakura and Kairi burst onto the scene. Great, now he had to worry about that on top of protecting this foul-mouthed piece of work.

"That's 'Mugen Rider Culturgen' to you." He finally retorted, uncrossing his armored arms and stepping out from the shadowy sidelines to stand beside his charge. "And show them what? Your keg stand skills?"

With empowered force that send dust flowing up in his wake (and maybe in Bad Girl's face) the Mugen Rider immediately invaded Kairi's personal space. "Sorry, but the cage is closed today." He uttered, inches from her face, mere moments after she'd entered to rain down two quick left-jabs, followed shortly by a roundhouse kick directed at her ally.

So this assassin was a... schoolgirl? And the other was her apparent bodyguard... Wait, something was weirdly familiar about this man. Kairi paused and tilted her head at Nobody as if she was trying to see past the mask. Her intuition was kicking in but she was not sure who this guy reminded her of exactly. "... Do I know you?" she asked before being suddenly charged by him. She quickly held out her hand and made a barrier of light in an attempt to ward off the first attack.

However she managed to catch herself and kick off the fencing of the batting cage and used it to propel herself back at Nobody, wings erupted from her back as she made a swing followed by a light empowered kick and ending with a thrust into him to knock him back a bit.

Kairi's barrier of light may have been sufficient in stopping the impact of his first punch, but even it's reflective properties weren't able to penetrate the defensive shields of his Rider armor. A distorted shimmer briefly danced across his form as her Starcracker shattered in the wake of his second, critical punch but... no dice. Not even any sparks to show that the suit itself had been damaged. Maybe it was mere chance, but for now it seemed like her enemy could take punishment as well as they could dish it out on.

"That depends:" A distorted voice answered with muted of amusement before it was quickly replaced by a deep and disturbed tone. They continued to hold the final pose of their roundhouse kick, leg raised after sending the defensive samurai away. "How well do you know fear?"

Kairi was clearly and by no means a poor combatant. But even despite her weapon proficiency, the girl's attempts to strike back at the Mugen Rider proved... well:

Futile.

Nobody swiftly side-stepped from the path of her first swing with the keyblade, quickly dipping into a crouch to duck underneath her flying kick, and twisting away so her final thrust harmlessly passed underneath his arm. Each time, when it looked as if her strikes would surely land, the Rider's body shifted away at the very last second--as if repelled from damage via magnetism. Even afterwards, when Kairi leapt back to gain some spacing for her next, multi-target, attack--the Rider pursued as if a possessed demon latching onto her shadow.

"Well, I'm glad we're in agreement then~!" Nobody's modulated voice replied, cheerfully answering low to the ground in front of the princess of heart.

Now normally, Nobody was the first person on the side of spontaneity and chaotic havoc to liven up a mission, but this was just uncomfortable. Well as opposed to her army of mislead simps, this man didn't seem particularly enticed nor phased by Bad Girl's exaggerated mannerisms. In fact, he groaned in irritation after watching her go grab another drink from her fridg-

"OH MY GOD! Can you stop drinking for one second, you alcoholic Barbie Doll?!" He criticized the assassin in irate disgust before throwing a dismissive wave at Bad Girl and turning back to the keyblader. "Ugh. I swear, this isn't worth the five-hundo." Oh right, speaking of the other 'thing' he was promised as payment: Nobody summoned his Rider weapon in its gun form before finally dashing towards Kairi once again, this time launching a pink energy blast at the warrior of light.

Kairi looked over to Bad Girl as she started batting bodies at her with wide eyes. She quickly hopped out of the way just in time before being chased by a spore covered bat. With another quick move she hopped out of the way of that as well with quick agility.

And with that final declaration of war she fired her magical bullets at Nobody in rapid succession that made them fairly hard to avoid. Pink light bullets rocketing through the air towards their target.

Kairi was distracted by the alchollic woman declaring her drinking rights... Oh yeah, she was her target! A target that... now lit her bat on fire. Well, that certainly did not look pleasant to get hit by. So her body shimmered as she leapt back her body turning a bright light before she landed once more her battle stance now directed towards the Bad Girl. If she did not keep her light burning that probably would of landed and hard despite being light right now. "I'll defend my family no matter what!"

"Probably?!" Nobody answered Kairi's rhetorical question with a dismissive laugh. Not that he had a family to risk or protect. Would make being a world-renowned mercenary and assassin somewhat difficult should that have been the case. It's rule number 1 in the bad-guy training manual: If someone's being a pain in your ass, threaten to shoot their mom/husband/kids/etc. Pretty basic stuff, you know.

Speaking of basic, Little Miss Alcoholic was throwing a tantrum over his outburst it seemed. Outburst in the literal sense because she LITERALLY fired an explosion at everyone in the room, including Nobody!

If his senses hadn't been as good as they were, there was no doubt that the Rider would be toast. Cutting it so close that he could feel the kaboom's heat lick at his back, Nobody somehow managed to dive away just in time and clear the explosion's radius. Rolling back onto his feet, he angrily began to make a mental list of all the terrible things he was going to do to Bad Girl after this job was done. Oh but where would he possibly find a tub of boiling tar on such short notice?!

Trying his best to ignore his drunkard of a charge for now, the Rider watched Kairi's Model A transformation in mild intrigue. He even let out an impressed whistle once she finished. "Cute costume. Do you do birthday parties too?"

Wait did she just say lock-on?

Nobody was able to sidestep the first magical bullet before the following two nailed him straight in the chest, sending the Rider stumbling back as the damage sparked off of his armor. "Guh-" Auto-targeting. Talk about a cop-out! "What? No confidence in your own marksmanship, pink?" He growled before noticing the barrage wasn't over. Worst of all, it was coming at him in the form of a pretty pink heart no less?! Bet Peach would've gotten a kick out of that.

He wasn't about to be beaten by some AI-generated aim! With thunderous metal footsteps, the armored mercenary dashed straight towards Kairi's heart shot as if intending to tank it head on. At the last moment, the Culturgen armor dropped to its knees and flattened back against the floor--scraping and sliding right under the powerful beam before springing back upright.  "FRIEND-ZONED!" 

Speaking of establishing unhealthy boundaries, the Rider redirected his blaster and let off a lazily placed shot at his own drunkard of an ally's feet. You couldn't see it behind his mask, but he probably wore a malicious grin underneath it. "Oops. Butter fingers~" Nobody apologized in a monotone that did not at all sound genuine.

Still, this was getting a bit too close for comfort. Maybe now's a good time to try out one of those countermeasures he's been forcing nerds to cook up in "Culturgen R&D" department? While Bad Girl was keeping Kairi occupied, Nobody brought his his arm and began to withdraw a small device from his suit's dimensional storage. Data values and statuses scrolled through his internal HUD, the bug-eyed lenses shimmering with intense pink menace as they watched Kairi's movements.

[Deploying Anti-Keyblade Countermeasure Version 1.0:] He tossed the small metal disc up and down, gauging the distance between himself and the keyblader. One last snatch out of the air and, with a running start, the mysterious device was sent subtly sailing across the batting cage. It wasn't heading for Kairi herself though. This surprise attack was aimed to hit and stick the small disc to her Keyblade itself!

All of a sudden, the ground right in front of Bad Girl would smash open! The stone and fake turf giving way as a large dark blue paw shot out of the ground. Likely shooting past Bad Girl's head before suddenly receding back into the earth. Standing at the entrance of the batting cage was a strange figure. It looked to be a female, her leg having stretched almost cartoonishly into a hole she'd probably kicked into the ground just now. The limb slowly returning to normal as it pulled itself from that hole.

She was humanoid, that much was to be sure. But her figure was a monstrous one. Standing at a whopping 6 ft 4 in, body made out of some bizarre almost rubbery chocolate, the hellhound known as Helena stood. Her blue and yellow eyes shining with a fury as she yelled out.

"Don't give me that "Boo Hoo" bullshit! You took this job knowing full well what kind of trouble it'd get you in. Or are you so stupid, that you didn't think that killing someone that important wouldn't stick you in the deep end?" The Mochi would stride forward as she said that, contempt clear in her eyes as she spoke. To her either this chick was faking it to try and earn sympathy or she really threw herself into the deep end with no preparation like a dumbass.

And both of those options pissed her off.

"Now quit screwing around, before I cave your fuckin' skull in!" That was all the warning Bad Girl would get as the hound's eye-flames would explode into a raging inferno. The puddle of molten chocolate had formed right where the Mochi had stabbed her foot into the ground began to move. Coalescing into a large sphere... before suddenly spiking forward with an intense amount of force. The hellhound leaping onto the needle as it aimed to pierce Bad Girl's chest.

(Chocolate Wrath: Skewer. Helena can target foes equal to the number of Puddles she has currently active. Deals 20 damage on hit.

"RAAAAAAAAGH!" The hellhound would roar out as she leapt off the chocolate spike just before it could possibly make impact. A loud explosion ringing out as the hound's feet burst into a small cloud of flame and cocoa. Sending her rocketing down towards Bad Girl in an attempt to grab her by the throat and pin her to the ground.

"Hm... Well I could do that." Kairi remarked back as her attacks were hit and miss on Nobody. "If you weren't keeping me so busy!" Pretty hit on Bad Girl though... Who was crying now? Kairi gave a confused look before Model A alerted her to an incoming projectile aiming for... her weapon. Kairi tossed her arrowgun into the air at the last minute causing it to soar past before she looked back and forth.... Her partner seems to be gone... Her confidence wavered a bit until... someone else dropped into the party. She was... violent but she was on her side apparently and that was fine with her. She looked to Nobody as she dismissed her Keyblade weapons.

"Think that's the only transforming trick I have you're wrong... A-Trans!" Kairi declared as a bright light engulfed her before in her place was a similar girl but braided black hair with a black Qipao with gold trims and grey leggings and of course gauntlets and boots of similar color scheming. "Now for the last time..." Kairi began, her voice now someone else's with a small hints of her own. She adjusted her stance leaving little weaknesses in it.

(Kairi has A-Transed into Xion's Martial Artist form and adopted her Ultimate Stance and is using Model A's Lock On Once More...)

"BACK..." Kairi aiming a flaming punch at Nobody followed by another flaming punch if that one landed. "OFF!" She declares before giving a small hop and aiming a wind imbued side-kick to Nobody's face to launch him.

However, Her Crying was only able to pause for a moment as a Black Pawed foot launched past her head, Making her look up for a bit as she sniffled herself back, As Helena Launched for her with intent to Kill, Roaring about Caving her Skull in...Which was Ironic , Because as Soon as Helena was close enough to deliver her Strike, Bad Girl suddenly Took the hit, Directly to her cheek before it Dragged off of her Cheek, And she Spun around to Slam Helena onto the ground with her bat!!

And with her Slamming into Helena's Legs with her Bat-- Probably Sending an array of chocolate goop flying elsewhere, She then Turns around, Fluttering her skirt before sitting ontop of Helena's Stomach, Before reeling her bat back over her head! "Cave your skull in?? IF YOU FUCKIN' INSIST~!"

Space seemed to begin to warp around Nobody's armor as it sparked dangerously from the constant abuse. The warning sirens blaring in his helmet weren't very comforting either. As he slide back across the room from the keyblade-less keyblade wielder's final blow, a second do-gooder busted in out of nowhere, and his drunk of a charge was still... being drunk; he took stock of the situation and weighed his options.

"...You know what, you make a good point, Pink."

"Catch!" Was the only warning Nobody gave before skipping a small, handheld switch box through the air to Bad Girl. "Consider yourself 'protected'. Good luck~" He shot her a casual salute with two fingers before nimbly scaling one of the batting cages and vaulting out of a window, a cacophony of shatters from the broken glass sprinkling down in the merc's wake.

Did he just leave in the middle of a fight like some kind of Saturday morning villain?

...Yes. Yes he did.
