As Aether, Tron Bonne and Dr Neo Cortex proceeded into the lush jungle that was definitely ripe with resources that could be taken advantage of once they gathered them. The quest for the Chim Crown was upon them as they arrived they would see moving bushes and other such things happening once they proceed forward. 

The group proceeds into what looks like an ancient temple according to the map that Doctor Kubo gave them. As the map leads them into this jungle based temple they would see old structures ruined beyond repair, many of which looked centuries old in appearance. What mysteries would await them inside? One thing was for sure they would most likely find this King Chim-Chim amongst those mysteries, and the crown with it.

Next thing on my list: a warp system.

Blazing throughout the air comes a small man.  His magnificent black hair blown back by the air as he starts to reduce his speed, lowering himself to the ground.  The rockets around his ankles huff as they lower their creator to the ground, ensuring that no harm befell him.  Sighing, he would take a moment to readjust his hair back to his liking before taking a look around wherever his erratic mind had led him this time.

For his first time outside of the Life Sphere since his arrival, this of all places was not one he would expect him see himself in.  Some old forest, oh boo-hoo.  The temptation of potential resources however, well, that was one way to lure him out.  Cortex was really in need of some new things to let his ever-bored mind toil over.  A potentially limitless source of energy was definitely one that could keep his mind at work... at least for a while.

Slipping an arm into his lab coat, he quickly tapped upon something hidden within, giving off a small 'click', before pulling his hand back out with the map he had been given for this task.  Such a primitive tool.  It will have to do however.  As he unfolded the map, a blue sphere of Cortex's genius would build up around him.  His barrier, still working after all these years-- a true test of its design, tightened it's guard around the frail scientist.  Cortex's brain hummed an audible 'hmm' as he looked it over.  As much he would have loved to move in and begin, he knew better.  His feeble frame wouldn't last long should he find himself in a serious situation.  The two idea began to fight, leaving Cortex once again irritated over his current predicament.

The weary eyes of the scientist scanned the temple not far from him.  At the least he could search to see if there was anything useful here in the mean time.  Not that he would expect much out in a place like this but anything would be better than nothing at this point.

Narrowing his gaze upon the strange creature, Cortex remembered how he was supposed to kick this thing.  If you say so.  Cortex walks over to the creature and gives a good kicking.

Aether walks into the temple with Paimon floating behind him, looking down at the map in his hands with a sigh. As he stops, his floating companion isn't paying attention, and bumps into Aether. "Ow-!" She yelps when she hits the back of Aether, rubbing her head with a groan before looking around. "Wooooow... This place is like Dvalin's Lair..." She comments on the terrible condition of the building, before Aether replies. "Yes Paimon, this may come as a shock, but ancient ruins tend to look like ancient ruins." He teases, getting Paimon to pout a bit.

"You're right, though. This place is a complete mess, why would there be a quest just to get the crown of some dude who probably died a hundred years ago?" He wonders to himself, before rolling up the map and putting it in his back pocket. "Who cares?! Let's just get out of here, the place is creepy!" She whines, causing Aether to sigh and roll his eyes. "Okay, okay! Come on, then..."

And so, Aether started searching. Under rubble, behind doors, everywhere he could think, and yet he found nothing. "I suck at finding things, why did we take this Quest?" It's then that Paimon pops into existence. "Because you're not strong enough to fight anything else?" "Shut up!"

Unlike the other two, Tron Bonne was the the last one to arrive, sure she was late but that was because she had to take a Drache to the area and she was forced to go on foot, either way she looked at it, she needed the exercise to stay in shape even while she was researching how to make more mechanical marvels while staying under the radar.  "This reminds me of those ruins I once went into in order to find that large refractor...  No time like the present to get this done." Tron said to herself as she entered the ruin and proceeded to scan her surroundings...

As the group proceeds further into the temple, Doctor Neo Cortex soon finds a large box of resources in the temple and luckily they are still fresh! The resources are three bags of dried fruits from the jungle and two bags of dried meats, presumably from hunted animals. But the fact they were dried suggested that their were actual people or some sort of civilization around here, possibly one that was still alive even though their was no one around for miles.

Maybe these dried fruits and meats were just leftover from this ancient temple? Either way as the rest failed their resource checks Doctor Neo Cortex found a total of 5 resources for the 15 resource meter for the sub objective and after kicking the Chim Chim he receives 11 Chim Spheres to his total.

The group comes upon more parts of the temple as they come upon a collapsed part of the temple but has several barrels around the chamber and a few small trees as well. So far no enemies yet but their were rustles in the small trees. Perhaps some enemies were hidden or were they Chim Chims instead?

"Hrmmm...  Guess I'll try again." Tron would say, and once more proceeded to scan her surroundings for chim chims while trying to stick with the group...

But once again she would fall short, to the point where she was getting kinda frustrated.  "I must be getting rusty at this point..." she said as she calmly heaved a sigh and keep a straight face.

Upon kicking the chim chim, the good doctor would be disappointed to see it cease to be.  Potentially limitless...

Cortex would come across a crate full of... food.  The dried goods were nothing to him.  The mind was starving, not the body.  He wouldn't even have a way to transport them anywhere knowing his frail body.  Best to make a mental note and come back for them later.

Giving a glance back at the others,  Cortex swiftly brought his attention back to searching the ruins.  If he was going to find anything useful here it would need to be before any of them could lay their hands on it.  "There must be something of use here..." Cortex muttered, moving further into the temple and continuing his search.

The first attempt was not handled well as his thick brow furrowed.  Luckily, the next two would yield promise.  More of those Chim Chim things would appear which led Cortex to stop and debate on capturing one of those things and bringing it back to him lab.  He really didn't have the necessary tools of doing such at the moment but the idea was entertaining.  There would be more later if he decided on doing so, he thought.  For now though, he was satisfied with kicking the poor things for the precious resources they dropped.

Sam quickly made her way towards the Temple in excitement over hearing that this mission needed a replacement. When she heard about some creature called Chim Chim's and the fact that this mission takes place in the Jungle. She was excited to see if she would run into any Monkeys in the process, or in the Temple itself.

"Hello, I heard you need some more help with this Temple!" Sam entered the Temple and made her appearance known to Tron Bonne and Cortex loudly as she finally arrived. And looked over towards the Chim-Chim.

"Not what I was expecting, but alright." Although disjointed that she didn't see a single monkey. She should make herself useful and look for some Chim-Chim's herself or resources that could help with the mission.

But she was happy that Tron Bonne and Cortex did some searching for her before her arrival it would make things easier for her.

It seems as though Sam had a good start, as she found a few resources and she might have even found some Chim-Chims as well. "I found one those chimp things!" Sam turned over towards the other members of the group. Although she couldn't kick them right now since she was busy looking over the resources that she found too.

"I also found those thingie magjigs that we need for the Life Sphere." She also revealed.

Once she wasn't busy she proceeded to kick the Chim-Chim's that she found.

"How dare you have similar name to Chimps. You should be ashamed!" Sam shamed the two Chim-Chims.

From the looks of things Doctor Neo Cortex was able to successfully find a crate full of dried foods of all kinds such as meats, fruits and vegetables that were still fresh after being pressed and dried then stored in this crate. Next to the crate was a Chim Chim that looked different than the others. It was a brilliant yellow in color and much bigger than the standard Chim Chim.

It had a bright purple Chim Sphere upon its head that glowed with a magnificent brilliance. Once it was kicked however the violet sphere came off of it then was collected by the doctor. His Chim Sphere pool is at the maximum of 50 now! The crate counts as an additional 5 resource points as well. You now all have 10 out of the 15 resources required to complete the sub objective!

With Aether gone that meant anything he had was dropped in favor of the newbie named Sam Boole. She managed to find an additional 2 resources in the form of some fresh cloth in a nearby barrel. This brings the resource count up to 12 out of 15.

Sam also manages to kick a Chim Chim for 20 Chim Spheres to her Chim Sphere Pool.

Now it was time to use them as they moved on they would find themselves blocked by a door that had several pipes leading in and out of it. They needed some way to open said door in order to progress. Next to the door was a small cylindrical slot that was open with the label 'Insert Chim Spheres.' and the number 20 on it meaning that they needed 20 Chim Spheres in order to open this door.

If they found themselves able to open said door they would come upon more of the large jungle further on ahead that led onward through the temple. More mysteries await as soon as they managed to get through and press onward.

Sam yawned, she was getting tired of this area and she had managed to find some of the chims in this place, it was time to further explore this place. She turned over towards Tron and Cortex. "This place is nice and all to bring to an art trip, but it's time to see if there's anything further down from here." Sam suggested and began walking away to further continue exploring the area.

At least, she would of had that stupid door not get in the way. "Ow." She rubbed her nose, before looking at the door itself, being surprised by how, mystical, old and slightly mechanical that it looked.

As well as the fact that there was a twenty number sign on it. Looks like if the group wanted to go further then they would have to collect twenty things and put it in the door somehow. Sam looked at the chim chims that she collected so far.

She wondered if they were needed to open the door, although she wasn't going to risk opening the door with her chim chims. Sam felt as though that she could use them for something important later, like not opening a door, but maybe to kill someone with them somehow.

Cortex however, might help!

"Psst, you, with the giant letter glued to your head!" Sam whispered to Cortex, but she was loud enough for Tron Bonne to hear too.

"You think you could use those to open the door instead of me? I don't have anything on me. You have like eighty on you and that thing needs twenty it looks like." Sam lied about having chim chims.

Hmm.  They came in different variations.  Interesting.

Cortex continued along with the group, not saying a word.  He looked helplessly bored more than anything.

Coming up to the metal door, Cortex peered up at it curiously.  His eyes analyzed it for a moment before focusing on the label to 'insert chim spheres'.  They narrowed in on it for a moment as if he was considering something before returning back to normal.

The bored doctor looked over to the child whispering to him.  His cold eyes lingered on her as she asked him to use his precious resources to open the door.  A small part of him was ready to deny the request immediately but, considering the brain-numbing boredom he was experiencing, his rational side was able to take hold.  Cortex craned his head back over to the door and looked at the labeled slot again.

Being busy with his own searching, he hadn't paid any attention to the others.  He had plenty on him and there seemed to be a good amount of the chim things around.  Hold onto a few of them for research later and things should be okay.

"Fine."

After depositing the spheres, Cortex stood in wait.  The reveal of a large jungle did nothing to impress him.  He simply continued onward, walking forward into it.
