As you enter Eggman's Laboratory a bandicoot in stylized overalls and goggles waves you over holding past packs of her own. "Heya! I'm Coco and I will be your guide into traveling through space and time," she declares with a wave of her hand. The place was... very red with a bunch of machines of complex nature. A lot of dials and monitors displaying calculations and figures of points in time and space and some other things. "Dr. Egghead is working overtime on the city's defenses so I will be assisting you. Nice to meet you! Don't worry, I'm very experienced with traveling through time to kick badguy's butts and stop their evil time related schemes so you're in good hands," she added in a quick manner.

"Anyway, E. Gadd probably already gave you the lowdown so I won't waste your time. Unfortunately we only have four Past Packs so I will be staying here. However these Past Packs are special," she declares holding up the four packs for everyone to get a look.

They each held a mask on the back, from left to right, top to bottom, Akane, Ika-Ika, Lani-Loli, and Kupuna-wa. "These are the Quantum Masks! Or more specifically they are the manifestations of their power. With these me communicating with you will not only be easy but I can send you the power of other masks to make sure you have an edge over whoever or whatever might show in that anomaly and Galacta Knight himself," She declares as she presents the backpacks for collecting.

(Coco will be providing support rather than fighting so she can use Mask Support Moves but not proper combat skills due to not physically being there. As a result she also can't be targeted. Also you get to pick which mask your Past Pack has! It's first come first served so snatch them while they are hot! This does not matter mechanically, just neat flavor.)

"With that out of the way, get out there and get that sample, I'll stay in touch," She waves off, ending in a phone like handgesture to her ear as she let the others travel to the past.

The past is night time at the Sunshine Stadium which seemed normal if it was not for the cops surrounding the outside lead by a Toad with brown and purple spotted mushrooms, a black jacket, an eyepatch and a sword at his hip. The old captain of security, Vanish T himself. There was a racket inside the Stadium as it seemed a giant skeleton known as Skeith, a kid with rollerskates and a graffiti paint can and some purple lanky loser with an upside down L on his forehea-er, hat.

"Now, quick reminder," Coco's voice kicked in from the Past Packs. "You have to sneak around through the Stadium's Interior. King Hippo is being handled and Galacta Knight could break the sample or flee if you came at him. I don't know about you but I'd rather not keep rewinding time until that did not happen. Once you have the sample in your hands I can warp you back to our time and space. Use the element of surprise to your advantage and nab it! Oh and the anomaly seems strongest inside the Stadium's walls so keep an eye out. We still can not identify what it is but if it has to do with Quantum Shifts it has to be dangerous so take caution, good luck!" Coco finished, allowing the heroes to take their course and move.

Of all the beings on this planet, it would be the Demonic Gargoyle God himself who turned up with no warning as he walked out of a portal that lead to his home in the Astral Plain, any who came before he did would notice that he was taller than anyone in the vicinity, maybe taller than everyone here.  "Guess it's time for me to face the music.  Once this is done, I will be talking to that Patroller of Paradoxes." Gargos would say, a hand reaching out to one of the four masks and grabbing one of them; the purple mask specifically, mainly because Gargos liked the cut of it's jib of being a perpetual frowner. He would then wait for the others to arrive and pick their masks, since he was already patiently for the start of the task at hand.

Velvet entered the Building with arms crossed, and a Scowl on her face. Disease was spreading throughout Li, and by taking the sample Galacta Knight had with him, They would achieve the Cure by manipulating it. Simple enough. Velvet walked into the Red Lab, Getting a wince of technological whiplash as she beeping caused her to groan, arms crossed as she looked to her allies. Gargos, Haseo, Ruby...Velvet could only think of one thing to say, as she reached over and grabbed the Lani-Loli pack, Throwing it over her shoulder.

"Stay clear of the crossfire." Was Velvet's only warning. She wasn't going to play it safe for there sake. They get in her way, There problem. Velvet looked at the Lani-Loli mask on her pack...It seemed so jittery and shaken up. Velvet rolled her eyes. "Stay hidden, And strike when he least expects. Got it. Easy enough." Velvet would say, before looking at Gargos...They really invited this guy for a Stealth Mission? Velvet just resides to crossing her arms, Waiting to turn the pack on for when they were all set up and ready to go.

So the lowdown was that disease was spreading all over the world of Li and they would be going back in time to retrieve a sample of the starvia? Well that was all and good but the one thing he didn't really care for was the stealth aspect of this whole thing, he really liked to battle but maybe that's for the best you know? In fact he could be mistaken as someone who would be good at stealth considering he wears all black most of the darn time.

As he arrived to the strange bandicoot lady who gave them all unique time packs or whatever their called with strange masks attached to them. 'Darn I wanted the purple one.' Haseo thought to himself as he picked the next best thing really, the inquisitive and green looking one called Ika Ika. "I'll take this one then." Haseo said before strapping it over his body. Here's hoping these things actually did their job correctly, well one way to find out right?

"If we can help it we shouldn't draw too much attention to ourselves, I may not be the most suited for stealth but I can definitely give it a try." Haseo said optimistically. He didn't care for this but the Life Sphere was at stake so he would just hold in his thoughts on the matter and get ready for the assignment. 'This is so going to suck, I know it.' Haseo thought to himself as he sighed out loud.

A burst of rose petals soar into the waiting room, making way for Ruby to appear in the room, donning her Slayer outfit. Putting her hoodie down, she greets her other team members with a mildly nervous smile and a wave. Thankfully, she didn't have to start conversations with her not-very-talkative teammates, because Coco started talking to them. "Nice to meet you! I'm Ruby. Thanks for having me here." she says in a bit of an awkward fashion in response to Coco's greeting.

After that small introduction, she went to check on these 'Past Packs' she was giving, looking at her teammates picking up one with their mask of choice. She eyed the purple mask briefly before her eyes settled on the last pack left - the one with Kupuna-wa. "Guess you're stuck with me! I'm counting on you, Kupuna-wa!" Ruby said with a smile, not expecting the mask to quip back as she equipped the pack, placing it underneath her cape.


"Alright, team! Time to get back to the past and save the present!" Ruby said, trying to rouse her teammates with a fist pump, before activating her own Past Pack...

A Quantum Rift opens up in Sunshine Stadium, Ruby leaping off of it and landing on the ground gently before it closed behind her. Gripping Crescent Rose behind her as if on the lookout for threats, she eases up for the moment when it seems nothing's coming at her for now.

Just then, Coco's voice comes from the Past Pack, giving her more insight on the mission. Being the leader of a team back home, listening in was important, so she made sure to keep her ears peeled. The gist of it was navigate through the Stadium stealthily, which was doable; Not attack Galacta Knight directly, which...was a bummer, but understandable; and look out for the anomaly. "Okay, got it! I'm gonna go full stealth mode!" Ruby said, making..."stealth noises" as she was getting ready to move and retrieve the sample stealthily...once everyone was here and accounted for, of course.

"Yep! How you go about that exactly is up to you. Just going to the seating area will probably be the safest way there. He'll be on the top right side of the audience so it shouldn't be hard to miss from there. You'll have until he enacts his third penalty since soon after that he uses the infected sample so being quick is also important," Coco suggests as she let the others summon the rifts with the backpack to travel back in time to the night of the multiple murders. "I like your enthusiasm, Ruby! If you guys need anything just say, 'One Wumpa Please' and I'll answer," ... What a weird codeword.

Regardless the quartet was directly in front of the Stadium with easy access to the lobby to which they could take the seating area. A few obvious alternate ways there would be to climb to the top and try to jump him from above but the walls can be kind of steep so it'd be difficult. You could also try to blend into the audience which could be the fastest but riskiest. Or you could just take Coco's advice and go around back. The police seemed to be distracted talking to each other so they don't notice you for now. Somehow with the tallest man in the room around.

(Everyone! There are three main paths. You could scale the walls and try to get to Galacta Knight that way. This requires a 16 or higher STR Roll however. You could try and blend into the audience to get closer but this requires a 14 or higher in DEX. Failing any of these will default you to the lobby path since there is not enough time to retry. You can split up to try the pincer attack as it were. You could also improvise your own way to him but success could vary wildly)

Gargos would follow the group to the past, thankfully he knew that meddling in the fight would be a big problem and he didn't want that to happen so he would try playing it safe for the time being, that and he would try the wall first...

And scale the walls Gargos did though to be perfectly honest; he had wings so he could have just flown up the wall instead, but he knew that if he tried it, Galacta Knight would spot him for sure and take of, resulting in a possible Mission failure, which he most certainly didn't want.

Once he reached the top, he would simply observe the fight going on while hidden, remaining as still as a statue.  "I am in position, the others should be so as well." Gargos would say to Coco via one of his portals, he had at least four small portals open like viewscreens, one that allowed him to communicate with the Bandicoot girl, the other three focused on Velvet Crowe, Haseo, and Ruby Rose so they too could communicate with him.

As he pressed the button and traveled through time Haseo couldn't help but wonder where this thing could take him? Well that wasn't important and apparently it would be very dangerous if he used it to try to get back to his world, not the mention the fact even if it did work he would need to hope he ends up back in the game version of his world because Haseo wasn't his real body.

'Let's face it that would be too many complications and I don't want to risk it. Besides I have all the power off Haseo and can help people with it. Maybe part of me doesn't want to go back? Maybe but I still miss my friends.' Haseo thought to himself as he would follow Gargos's lead and try to climb the building as the quickest way up there.

"I managed to scale the wall, I am here alongside Gargos. If the other two use the way around back then we can meet up later." Haseo said to Coco over the portals.

As Velvet emerged into the Past, She crosses her arms and-- What was that wormhole? Velvet looked at Gargos's Portal to stare directly at him, Narrowing her eyes as she instead looked to the Wall, and more importantly, straight up it. She watched as Gargos climbed the wall with claws and grip, and Haseo did so as well. Velvet, However, Took a simple step back, and then...Jumped, With Immense Force, her Therion Claw Emerging and stretching outward, Gripping into the Rop Rail of the Wall and Dragging her up to the Top as Velvet used the momentum to launch herself up, Before stabbing her Arm Blade into the Brickwork to perform a simple flip, and then settle herself on the top wall, Looking to Gargos and Haseo. 

"I say we try to surround him from here, Then lunge for him all at once. If we get all of his Flanks, He wont be able to avoid all of us, And one of us can grab it. And if he does avoid us, Ruby, You should be able to follow up, Right?" Velvet would offer as her plan, Listening for the opinions of her Allies bef--

"..." Velvet stopped, Looking down the wall she resided atop of to see Beat, Having finished spray-painting a 'Beat the Clock' on the Wall. Beat, Happening to stare up and get a good view of velvet from below.  "Y'know-- Head back to my place and im sure i can hook you up with a--" "Say one more thing, and the only 'Hook' you'll have is my blade to your throat."

"Okay, Beat was it? Screw planning, just go in their and show that thug who's boss!"

"H-huh? Oh, Yeah, Alright!" Beat would say to the distant Vanish T., Before skating off and grinding down the Railing of the Stairs, as Velvet rolled her eyes. What a Jackass.

Ruby watched everyone climb the walls of the Stadium. W-weren't they gonna try to make a plan before they went for it?? The Huntress-in-training considered her options and after a brief moment of thinking, decided to follow the others and climbed the wall.

Well...when I say 'climbing', I mean somethin more among the lines of 'she used her Semblance to move to the top at great speeds'. Transforming into a swirling mass of rose petals, she flew upwards, reverting to normal once she reached the top. Landing gently, she glanced towards her teammates. "L-looks like everyone's going the same way, huh..." she commented with a bit of awkwardness, before taking a quick glimpse at the arena below.

By that point, Velvet started laying down a plan, and Ruby nodded in acknowledgment of Velvet's idea. She was about to reply to the lady before a guy came a-callin' for her and she quickly rebuked before the guy was sent to deal with...something. Ruby laughed awkwardly as that whole interaction finished. "Um--yeah, sure, I can catch up! I'm pretty quick with the help of Crescent Rose and my Semblance." she replied. "I can probably shoot the guy too if he tries to get away with the sample." she added as a suggestion.

"Oh wow, you guys scaled that wall no problem! Good job. I think that sounds like a good plan, Velvet. The fight should be starting soon so Galacta Knight will be nice and distracted giving his-..." Coco began as the others could see a small figure standing behind a crowd of hostages, a purple lanky figure walking up to King Hippo and a giant stone statue named Skeith just hovering there, glancing in their direction from his flying spot. Silently. Apparently.

"Wait, hold on... Something's not right. The anomaly just spiked and is... right on top of you?" Just as Coco sand started to float through the air rising into a sandstorm concentrated around them. Amongst this sandstorm a figure suddenly appeared appeared in front of them. Time around them seemed to have came to a complete stop and lost a bit of it's color. The air started to distort, images flashing by of various scientists, experiments going wrong. A Banette turning everyone into dolls, a Muk and Arbok fused into one, a mass panic as a lab turned into a disaster zone. In the center of these images stood one short figure. A distorted Pikachu  who just stared at them with a vacant and hollow expression and wide fanged smile. Strange squares floated off of it and it visibly shook every now and then.

".... Pi-udboyenoglont'chu..." It regarded in a pained voice as the Pikachu continued watching them until the sky shook and thunderclouds appeared above them. It then started to rain down upon them buses, trains, mopeds, and a lot of other vehicles. Just falling from the sky as the corrupted Pokemon just continued staring them down.

As they made it over the wall everyone seemed to be accounted for, that was until one of the locals started to cat call one of his associates in this mission, she had it handled though. That's when he saw it, something he couldn't believe he'd ever see again. "Skeith..." Haseo muttered as he looked in its general direction. 'But how?! Skeith is right here with me! I...Wait! This is the past right? So maybe this version of Skeith came here before I did. That would make the most sense actually! I shouldn't let it bother me, I got a mission to handle here.' Haseo thought as he collected himself before looking back over in the direction that Coco mentioned. Something was here and it was nasty looking.

"What the heck is that thing?!" Haseo asked in shock as it then made literal buses rain down on them. "Okay you don't see that every day. This is definitely not normal." 'When has anything been normal for you Haseo?' he thought to himself and mentally agreeing with his own thoughts. Taking a breath as he moved to dodge out of the way of the buses Haseo would hope that he did.

Haseo expertly dodged out of the way of the falling buses with ease. Something didn't feel right though about this thing. He had a gut feeling that things were screwy around here with this data anomaly messing things up around them thus making things much different than what he would plan. His gut feeling was usually right though so he would hold off on anything other than normal attacks for now. 

"Here I come!" Haseo said as he charged at the strange anomaly with his twin blades. Those images it showed when it arrived were pretty haunting though so it did make him wonder what exactly this thing was that caused so much suffering. That didn't matter right now as it was time to attack. 

"Sword Dance!" Haseo cried out as he began a combination attack.

Ruby listened to Coco intently, while trying to keep an eye out for what was happening within the stadium. Of course, their plan was put on hold due to a sudden spike of the supposed anomaly. Time seemed to suddenly pause around them, and the air was...glitching out? At the epicenter of all this glitchfest, a weird blue mouse with a hollow expression and freaky face. Ruby unsheathed her Crescent Rose, ready to give the anomaly a good pounding...

Before she could do that, however in came a...storm of vehicles coming their way. Ruby managed to come clean by leaping back a bit, but that's when Ruby noticed something odd. Suddenly, it felt a lot harder to move around, and her grip on her weapon felt sluggish for some reason. That's when Coco chimed in with the anomaly having some sort of effect on the area. "Ngh...I think this guy's tampering with my Aura...it's getting hard to move around!" Ruby said. Despite the sudden handicap, she went towards the creepy glitchy rat and tried going for a few swings with her Crescent Rose, going for a simpler combo in order for her to get used to the handicap.

Crawling up the side of the Arena, Velvet let out a bitter groan as she approached the location of Galacta Knight. That was, however, Until There journey was interrupted. Coco yelled of some kind of corruption siting atop them, followed by a kicked up Sand storm of corruption. Velvet stops as the harsh static sand surrounds her and the rest of the group, Causing her to narrow her golden eyes, as Haseo asks 'What the heck is that thing?!"

"If it doesnt get out of my way...It's Dead!" Velvet roars, as she Jumps into action to avoid the Storm of Cars!"

"DEVOUR!" She roars, as her Claws rip through the Missingno, Ripping energy and life from it to absorb into herself!
