Mary was oblivious to Rosalina's comments. Whose beautiful dress? Certainly not her patchwork dress! And she was far too focused on eating to pay attention to whether she was winning or not. She had a single-minded focus, a dream of being so full she never had to be hungry again, and she was chasing it. Never underestimate the fortitude of starving children who don't know any better than to stuff their face with junk food.

...And then Mary grabbed an entire quarter of a cake and just kind of hugged it into her face. Even Rose was slightly put off by the mess she was making as she wolfed the cake down like--well--a wolf, but declined to comment. Likewise, some of the other street kids she'd brought along paused to gawk at her for a moment. She was probably wearing a considerable bit of that cake now, but at least she got it down.

Dawn paused for a moment, finding her mouth a bit dry. For that brief moment, the force possessing her wasn't sure what to do. It wasn't a problem familiar to them. However, they quickly reconsidered the purpose of the glass of water they'd been given and gingerly picked it up, carefully taking a long drink from the glass in a restrained, frankly almost photogenic manner fit for a lady, which you might not expect considering how she was eating moments earlier.

The hedgehog continues to destroy the cake he's on, which seems to only really make him even more determined to win (though he has no idea how far behind he is) and warps over to another cake. Shadow's hands grab an extra large hand full of cake (about equating to 2 slices) and shoves it all in his face whole. Shadow was taking such an aggressive stance to eating cake, he didn't even notice how much of a mess he was making. The hedgehog's face was covered in frosting, and his usually white gloves were covered in cake and frosting.

Still, the hedgehog grabbed another handful, this time a normal sized one, and shoved it in his face before noticing a small creature who looked kind of sad for trying to slip him up before. Shadow... honestly forgot about them and just swiped the cake from the creature's plate and shoved it in his mouth.

He wasn't sure if that was smart, but he was supposed to eat as much cake as possible, yes? So eat the cake he would!1d20·1d20+3

Cynthia let out a happy giggle as she patted her belly, The Full feeling of joy from having consumed something so sweet and in such a bountiful amount, Especially for a sweet toothed fiend like Cynthia to feel quite full, as she looked to Dawn and...Quickly noticed how Awkward this moment had gotten. O-oh, Right...Cynthia eating more cake than a kid at there own birthday party in Two gulps probably seemed quite a bit strange! It certainly made Cynthia a bit self concious, as she adjusted herself a little, To see a Luma floating beside her, To offer her yet another peice!

...But yet, When Cynthia turned back, She noticed. Something was different about Dawn. Something Unnatural, A Different Aura took over her! And this Aura was suddenly...Very competitive! Cynthia felt her stomach ache just a bit from the Cake consumed...But, Her aura flared in Competition! Cynthia swiftly took to her water, And Drank a Small sip!

Regardless, Zelda steeled herself for the Upcoming tummy ache! "O-okay, Focus Zelda! There's Cake to enjoy!" Zelda would say, As she Focused. A Luma brought another Slice for her as well, as Zelda smiled and gave the Luma a little headpat. "Thank you!" Zelda honored them, Before getting to work!

[Nostalgia]

The already sorry Luma presenting the slice to Draco quickly flinched away as the dragon grabbed it so ferociously, not taking their time in flying off and hiding behind Rosalina from the scary dragon!

In quite the contrast the Luma offering to Yuumi smiled and gave her a bit of a sudden but quick hug in thanks before slipping away.

From all around the room similar variations of fear and thanks came from the Lumas depending on who they were presenting too, quite a few spooked from watching two different people eat a fourth of a cake each at once, along with even more people seeming to be losing their minds to the vice of cake.

Rosalina gives many of the Lumas some comforting pats as they run off, a bit of concern on her face as well watching everyone, but then again, they seemed to be enjoying themselves so there probably isn't any harm in it... Right? "I'm glad to see everyone's getting into the spirit of things! It looks like some people are getting to the halfway point, but dont give out now, there's plenty of opportunit--"

Before she could finish her thought there was a sudden crash from an adjacent room, followed by a very loud and goopy growl! The door to the room flew open as a few dozen lumas fled from what looked to be a kitchen, the doorway blocked not a moment later as a cake monster forced it's way though, towering over many!

The monster seems to glance around for a moment before seeing all of the mostly-eaten cakes on the tables, letting out another goopy roar as a sudden flurry of icing was sent accross the room!

(Everyone, roll a dex 12+ check to avoid the wave of projectile icing aimed over the tables or take 20% cake damage! For every 3 slices of cake you've eaten so far, subtract one from the roll as the cake slows you down! Rounded down to the nearest multiple of three. EX: if youve had 11 slices, round down to 9 and subtract 3)

"Oh Lumas what did you do?" Rosalina lamented softly to herself holding a hand to her chin as a little smile started to come to her face. "I suppose it is still a cake... And it is a cake eating competition after all~" Rosalina turned back to face the contestants once more! "I rule that anything eaten from the monster will count for your score!"

(The cake competition has taken a bit of a turn, but the show must go on! The cake monster will attack every turn it's still up, and doesnt want to harm its fellow cakes.

For the duration of his stay, you do not need to roll dex to eat slices of cake, though you do still need to roll the constitution saves. Instead on your turn you can either use an action to eat a slice of cake, or use one of your character's moves For every 20% damage you deal you can knock off a piece of cake from the monster to eat, potentially letting you eat more than with the dex rolls!

You also can just chomp on them, dealing 20% damage as an action.

Both methods still icnrease the DC check you need to make at the start of the turn by the normal amount for more than 1 slice per turn.)

Yuumi kept trucking on, devouring as much cake as she possibly could, despite her stomach's protests otherwise. Once she had forced down the cake she'd managed to grab, she turned back to her water bowl, lapping down a bit more. She was starting to slow down a little bit, but she was nothing if not determined. She went to try and fit more cake into her already-overfilled stomach...but was stopped by the cake monster bursting through the doorway with a wave of frosting crashing over the entire table.

Unfortunately, Yuumi's stuffed stomach also served as her anchor, as her attempt to jump away from the tide was...not even close to working. She was swept away in the undertow of frosting, mewing in distress. But she was in luck! Before her head could disappear under the sugar waves, Book came to her rescue, diving underneath her and lifting her to safety....albeit a bit shakily, and with a lot of angry page fluttering. Yuumi doesn't reply to Book at all though. She's still trying to process everything that just happened.

Luckily that didn't take too long "Alright, alright, shut up already, Book! We got bigger issues to deal with then you complaining about my weight. We gotta bop that thing!" Somehow still full of energy, Yuumi cast a large bolt of magic toward the giant cake monster, trying to slow it down. The bolt of magic hit it dead on, and managed to knock loose a chuck of cake that landed right into Yuumi's mouth.

She follows this up with a quick blast of flames, though this flies wide as Book suddenly dips. Yuumi glared down at Book, but she then caught the sight of her stomach squishing out from between her legs and prompts stops herself from scolding the tome.

Trying something a bit lighter this time, Yuumi quickly shoots a few more shots of magic toward the cake monster, though these served more as a distraction then anything else.

Meanwhile, Jr....did not slow down at all. Despite the amount of cake he'd already eaten, despite how much rounder his belly had already grown, Jr wasn't going to stop any time soon. There was cake, and he was gonna eat it!....unfortunately, his enthusiasm was his undoing. While he was focusing on downing any cake that was in his reach, Multiple shots of frosting nailed him right in the face, knocking him off the table and onto the floor. Wiping the frosting off his face, Jr looked up at the cake monster angrily. Now this. This meant war.

Slowly getting to his feet, and getting his bearings on the new weight that he was sporting, Jr spun around to face the cake monster. He started launching fireballs into it's...face? Hey, flambe'd cake sounded pretty good!

After cooking the monster a little bit, Jr tried another tactic. Pulling himself into his shell (As much as he could, anyway), Jr launched himself toward the cake monster, his shell landing against it with a splat, chunks of cake breaking off into it. Jr gladly helped himself.

Mary was suddenly pulled away from the table in response to the giant cake monsters, clutching onto Rose for safety as she gathered her surroundings. Upon seeing the cake monster and hearing what Rosalina had to say though, she eyed that cake with a borderline evil desire in her eyes. She'd never thought of eating something that moved before, but well...

She really didn't need much more incentive than points for doing it. She was going to WIN!!

Mary's stomach emitted an audible growl and her hair bristled in discomfort. Ow... Her stomach was rebelling against her. She takes a moment to chug down the entire glass of water in ferocious defiance, anything to force herself to continue.

She then promptly urges Rose to carry her in, brandishing her fork like a jousting lance! And in her free hand... Mary pulls out... a banana. She then tosses it up at the cake!

As this was going on, Rose carried Mary in and she thrust her fork into the cake in passing, attempting to pry out a chunk of cake before quickly retreating so she wouldn't be caught in the following blast storm!

One moment she was sitting there deep in concentration, and several frames and an ed edd and eddy sound effect later she was on the ground. Owwww... Dawn slowly got back up and brushed the frosting from her face as best she could, softly groaning. What... What hit her? She looked around in confusion, before spotting the cake monster.

“Oh so that's how it is, huh?! You picked the wrong day to pick on Dawn, buster!!”

"..." Chell looked up at the sudden noise as a giant... cake monster dropped down from above? Chell squinted for a moment at the beast, then to the lumas, then to Rosalina, then back to the abomination of nature just in time to see the attack. She ducked under the table as the icing flew, barely restricted by her stomach... that is until she felt a sudden and massive cramp, wincing a bit. Maybe she has been eating a bit too much... She thought this until raising her head out from under the table.... Yeah, clearly not. This wasn't her first time trying to eat sentient food alive... weirdly enough. Did they order this from that pizza place?

The quiet girl bursted forth from her spot and landed on the table to greet the monster. She glared at it in silence for a moment as it... got assaulted with questionable strikes for battling a cake. In the next moment Chell leaped forward and aimed with one hand to grab a piece of the cake and... promptly eat, before doing so with the other and then again with the same hand as the first attempt for small bites of the cakely abomination.

Amithree was about to return to chowing down... until a monster decided to wreck the party rather rudely... Although the monster looked... really delicious? Amithree was wide eyed for a moment before she had to force herself to jump over the spew of icing. She looked to the monster for a moment with a look that you rightfully get for interrupting a dragon during her meal. "... Fine, if you don't want us to have cake... you will do..." she coldly stated... not sounding like Amithree for a moment before holding out both hands. Electricity elongated and formed into... a spoon and a fork made out of storm magic, wind and electricity flowing through them. In the next moment she dived down and began swinging her alterations of her normal spear to try and cut off and eat the pieces of cake.

“I should’ve known a safe eating contest was too good to be true.” Pit groaned, getting up into a fighting stance. “...Not bad, though!” Pit changed his tone upon scooping some frosting off his face with his finger.
How do you beat a monster made of cake? Eat it? According to Rosalina, the answer was yes. “I was so hoping you’d say that.” Pit smirked, wiping his mouth in preparation.

She looked at her Water...No. No, She refused to back down so early! Cynthia Sat up in her Chair and Readjusted, Stifling a brief Belch from escaping her properly as she readied her fork, Stomach Full but Determination fuller! ...That was, until, Suddenly, A Cake Monster Barged in, and stopped Cynthia from getting another Fork-full in!

Zelda Clutched her tummy with a soft whine-- Oop, Yep. There it was. Her Stomach was feeling quite bloated all of a sudden, and her tummy ache had begun, as she took a pretty direct Belly-pain! Her Belly felt like it was Bloated up to it's very top with nothing but spongy Expanding Sweetness, as Zelda shook her head She...She had to stay focused! It was all, or nothing!

...Zelda spent so much time Psyching herself up, she didnt realize there was a cake monster until a Big Torrent of Icing flew at her.

Shadow was starting to have a hard time stomaching all of these sweets. Shadow reached out for another handful before his ear flickered, allowing the hedgehog a chance to leap away from the projectile, just barely missing getting frosting on his quills. Well... he did get a little, but at least it didn't hurt him. Shadow leered over at the giant cake monster that decided to... suddenly come into existence. Weird...

...But not unwelcomed.

Finally, a break from eating all of that junk! The hedgehog leaped onto his feet and placed his right hand on his left shoulder as he started winding his arm around as he prepared to get this fight started. This was more up his speed!

Unfortunately, the amount of cake he had eaten caused him to double take a bit. He really had been eating quite a bit too much of that stuff... he wasn't feeling too good, but it didn't take too long for the hedgehog to recover. There was a fight going on, and he wasn't about to let cake get in the way of that.

Shadow started his assault by rolling into a ball, and rolled like a wheel to ram into the cake at full power. The hedgehog would repeat this action two other times, both with varying levels of success, but was then quick to unroll and eye the damage a bit. If all three of those attacks hit, he would've knocked a piece off, but it was more likely that only two made its mark.

Shadow then rolled into a ball again before leaping in the air and aimed right for that same area again. Homing attack would've been the nudge that piece would've needed to get knocked off, and it seemed like it had quite a good chance of making a solid hit. The hedgehog unrolled but allowed his jet shoes to keep him hovering in the air as he glared down his foe.

Shadow willed his chaos power to form a lightning bolt in his hand and he launched it right for the center of the creature. The hedgehog would then slowly land on the ground as he smirked at the display he showcased. This fight was hardly a challenge.

Shadow glanced around as he waited for another opportunity to strike. First he needed to see if the cake would still be interested in more of a pummeling.
