Sea Draco felt her chair starting to rock as the Lumas rushed underneath her chair, causing it to rumble and rock back and forth. The chef nearly losing her balance for a few seconds before pushing her chair down and keeping herself planted. The dragon's stomach rumbling a bit as she managed to hold her ground while she started working on the cake.

(Even though Sea Draco has a +4 to her Con thanks to Smash Spirits, I will still be playing her as if she had a +3 since that's what she had when she signed up for this

As it turns out... that rumbling was just her gut grumbling for more cake. The dragon having not eaten anything the night prior in preperation for this. With that, she began digging in again!

Her mind making note of what she tasted, so she could try to replicate it herself when this was all done!

Miah damn near fell out of her chair as the Luma's brushed past. The Au Ra having a very hard time keeping her balance as she very nearly fell out of her seat. The thin woman throwing her body weight forward, being the only thing keeping herself from falling back completely as she slammed her stomach into the table.

Shadow glanced down at the Lumas and gave them a dark glare before grabbing the edge of the table (in which they were trying to know him off of) before making eye contact with one of them and giving them one of his infamous death glares to get it off his back. Shadow was in competitive mode. Messing with him would've been at their own risk, and he would show them no mercy. With his point made, hopefully, the hedgehog went back to the competition.

Cynthia, Noticing the multitude of Luma's Flying by, Quickly gasped and grabbed hold of her Chair, Holding it down as the Luma's bumpd by, as she sighed in relief, knowing that her stasis on the chair was well in place, as she giggled, Looking to Dawn, Before letting out a Sigh, Relieving her stomach as she got ready to go for more!

Just then she felt a bump on her chair, making her reflexively contain it by holding it... Despite being a girl at a food eating competition her strength was impressive as it halted almost immediately from her holding it in her grip. She's pretty sure that wasn't in part to her... Was it the lumas or Rosalina enacting some dubious trap? Either way she decided to be a bit more cautious as she ate a fewer slice of her cake this time, it being far from disturbing her as she ate the slices... Still, it's not like she was going to contain herself too much. Honestly cake being her weakness may be her downfalls one of these days...

Meanwhile, next to Chell who was eating her cake with a happy expression in her ferocity. A wobbling... went barely noticed as a green tail of energy held it still before dissipating. Almost seemed like a natural reflex to not distract herself from eating. And having the soul of a dragon made overeating a thought that did not really cross her mind. Still she continued her eating although she slowed down a bit as the clarity... that maybe she was being a little too fast in eating. It didn't last too long but long enough to slow her down and drag a little behind the other top runners.

Now, Mary wasn't sitting in a chair. She was sitting on Rose, who was dutifully serving as her chair. So when the lumas come around and start bumping into her pink Yoshi stool, Rose kinda wobbled and staggered slightly, looking about in surprise and kinda silently staring at the rather rude lumas shoving her from behind. However, she declined to say or do anything about it. Mary, meanwhile, was pretty tough--at least for a little girl. She just kind of ignored the jostling and movement, focusing on eating.

Thinking like Rose, Mary focused a little less on this whole chewing your food thing and just kind of pushed her body even further beyond! ...That is to say, she just started forcing herself to swallow cake relatively whole, which might have been a choking hazard but paid off this time. The fact that people were cheering for people other than her was lost on her for the moment being. It would be slightly disturbing if anyone knew her name anyway.

Dawn watched in something resembling mild horror as Cynthia made three slices of cake disappear. Two swallows. Three pieces of cake. Two swallows, three pieces of cake!! Where the hell did that third piece of cake go?! Cynthia did you?! Cynthia that's not--You just broke like, all the rules of food etiquette right in front of her. How could she ever look at you the same way?? Dawn could feel her appetite withering away, a sense of shame and meekness overcoming her at the display.

“...It's like watching a gulpin ravage a wedding cake...”

Dawn murmured under her breath, highkey intimidated by what Cynthia had just done. A knot formed in her throat as anxiety took over. She couldn't eat another bite. (...Your judgements are disgusting.) the voice in her head commented, observing how freaked out Dawn was. (I'm not trying to!) Dawn mentally replied in distress. (And now you're going to give up?) the voice (...I can't do this. It's gross. She'll think of me as a pig forever. I don't think I can live with that. Besides, did you just see that?? I feel like a wishiwashi swimming with sharpedo! How am I supposed to out-eat someone who could eat me??) Dawn lammented.

Just then, Dawn was rocked off balance and fell, hitting her head with a startled ow. (...Yes you can. And I'm going to show you how.) the voice in her head replied in a distant tone. (--Wait, what??) Dawn began to reply as she got back up and began brushing herself off, only to tense slightly as her legs began moving without her input. Next thing she knew, she was sitting back down beside Cynthia, ready to eat! (W-Wait, no! Nono!) Dawn protested. She opened her mouth to cry out, however a slice of cake was promptly stuffed into it. And then another one. She tried to resist, but only managed to make her arm tremble slightly. She was foregoing all her manners and stuffing her face, making a little bit of a mess in the process.

She paused briefly to glance at Cynthia, silently watching her for a reaction.

Shantae would prepare to dig into more cake, but she would soon be witness to the lumas bringing some playful shenanigans into the fracas that she would endure.

Shantae managed to survive the Jostling of her chair by a small pack of lumas, but due to her save, she wound up suffering a bit from biting off a little more than she could chew.  But she was undeterred, and would continue to eat more cake.

Rosalina looked out over the group of participants, frowning a little bit in confusion as Pit, then Jr, then Yuumi, then more and more of the line of participants fell out of their chairs. The Lumas still staying along the side-lines let out some confused sounds as each of their favorites fell out of the chairs, others cheering as their picks stayed on! Finally though Rosaina catches a glimpse of a Luma foot under the table!

"Hey! You can't play under there right now, come on." Rosalina seems to have noticed the Luma's shenanigans! With a ruffling of table cloths and a few embarrassed luma noises they seem to all come out lined up before a pouting Rosalina with her hands on her hips. "I'm Terribly sorry about that everyone, hopefully they didn't get in the way too much. Now what to do with you all..." Rosalina frowned a bit as she looked down at the lineup of sorry looking Lumas. "...I can't stay mad at you all..." Rosalina sighed out, thinking for a second before perking up. "Alright, all of you need to help out. Help everyone out a little, alright?"

The Luma swarm gave a series of nods before dispersing out to all the participants, taking off a slice of each cake and holding them out!

((Everyone, the sorry Lumas are trying to apologize and help out! This slice of cake is added on top of how many you could eat from your dex roll, however since it's alot to take at once, it'll increase your DC by 3 instead of the normal 2. "It's looking like the tables may be turning a bit, I see a couple of people catching up, of course the winner could still be anyone!" Rosalina chuckles softly to herself as she floated back out front like a proper announcer. "Don't forget to take a sip of water every now and then everyone, there aren't any bonus points for not using it!"

"It looks like we've got one contender pulling a head a bit, the young girl in the beautiful dress takes the lead! Followed closely behind by Sea Draco, Bowser Jr... And a... Cat" Rosalina went quiet for a moment after saying that out loud, the absurdity of what was happening may be settling in a little... "A few unlikely faces in the lead, but all the more impressive for making it this far! Don't be discouraged, don't hold back, this is a celebration for all of you!"

She wasn't going to stop, especially not when this stuff tasted so great! For a brief moment, she felt something inside of her click. Like an old instinct that had laid dormant for ages on end.

Miah however had felt her stomach rumbling a bit from all of the sweets she'd consumed. Her hand reaching down to gingerly massage it for a moment, but it wasn't enough to slow her down. To be honest, she was kinda surprised at how easily she was handling this... She expected to be on the floor at this point, miserable and upset at her decision.

Contrary to what she expected, Miah found herself eating even faster! The dragon having taken two extra pieces. One from the pile and one from the Luma! The Scholar stuffing herself, maybe she did have a chance after all...

Taking a breathing after consuming...what was probably far too much cake for a normal cat, Yuumi lays down for a moment. Her belly was feeling quite tight after her cake binge, and just as she finished up the slice she was eating, more pain shot through her from her stomach, a little worse then before. Curling up in a ball again, Yuumi tried to wait it out again.

Once the pain had past, Yuumi got to her feet again before taking a look at the water bowl that was offered to her. Perhaps a drink of water would help
settle her stomach a little. Stepping back a bit, Yuumi started lapping
up some water from the cat bowl that a Luma had provided. It seemed to
help, but Yuumi had to drink a good amount of the water before her
stomach felt a bit better

Thanks to the water, Yuumi's stomach finally started to relax, and the magical cat returned to her cake. Her belly was starting to swell rounder, but Yuumi didn't seem to notice. She was too focused on the delicious cake to think of what it was starting to do to her waistline. Before she could start eating, though, a Luma tapped her on the back. Looking up, Yuumi soon had another slice of cake almost shoved inches in front of her face. The Luma had a bit of an apologetic look its face, and Yuumi just couldn't refuse it "Aww....It's okay, l'il shinylight! You were only playing! Thanks for the extra slice! This cake is really good!" Taking the offered slice, Yuumi tore through it before diving back into her own cake

It didn't deter him though, and he eagerly reaches for more, grabbing the extra slice from the Luma that dared to get close to him

.... However after looking at the cake slice being offered to her for a moment and swallowing whatever she had she sighed. "Hmph, fine, you're forgiven... But I'm keeping an eye on you..." she warned before snatching the cake to consume... She was working off a lot of hunger moments. She took a moment inbetween her eating focus to drink some of the water... she may be a glutton but she was also an abnormally healthy individual.

Looking a bit around for a moment before noticing Dawn's eating in paticular... "... Wicked..." she states before looking back to her cake. So many people were eating so fast without a care. Why should she?

"Don't forget to drink. We might have the metabolism of a dragon but you can still choke..." the voice in the back of Amithree's mind advised as she did so, taking a sip without properly processing it. She then looked to the lumas. "Oh, thanks~!" she decided to accept the extra piece of sweetness and attempt to gain back a high ground.
