History On Li:
Quint had just faced a crushing defeat at the hands of Mega Man, forced to retreat with incalculable shame. Dr. Wily, filled with outrage over the fact that he couldn't even get a Mega Man on his side to beat the blasted Blue Bomber, was getting ready to banish Quint to the scrap heap before suddenly getting a change of heart. Rather than recycle this facsimile of his arch enemy, why not put him to work? The good doctor had been tinkering with inter-temporal space travel ever since completing the time machine he stole from the Chronos Institute and had stumbled across a peculiar segment of space-time in the near future that literally warped his readings out of comprehensibility. The most strange thing of all though was the fact that, of the readings Wily could discern, the accursed creation of Dr. Light could be found intermingled within it.
A foreign and unpredictable phenomenon like this was far too dangerous for Dr. Wily to pursue on his own. He had more important things to do: Like crushing the Mega Man still being a present pain in his butt in the here and now. Transporting Quint into it though? He could get his failed Mega-project out of his sight, gather some more valuable data readings, and as a cherry on top maybe even screw over whatever Mega Man was doing in the future in the process! With a jovial grin on his face, Wily tuned Quint up for the journey,
Primary Attacks (3)
Wily Buster: Quint is equipped with Dr. Wily's attempt to recreate the firepower of Dr. Light's Mega Buster using technology salvaged from the future. The result is a powerful, albeit clunky attempt that while sporting more stopping force, puts irate stress on Quint's chassis with every use. [Light DEX Attack; DMG 5%, 10% to Stun, 1% recoil]
Kick Slide: A sliding kick that's fairly self-explanatory. The force behind the blow is quick and fast enough to potentially gag Quint's opponent with all the dirt they'll be eating if hit unprepared. [Medium STR Attack; DMG 15%; 30% Inflict Gagged]
Partial/Charge Shot: A charged shot from the Wily Buster, that can deal serious to devastating levels of damage depending on how long it's charged. It can be fired with one action at 18%, but further charging allows Quint to buff the move's damage by 12%. Each action spent charging the Wily Buster, in addition to the aforementioned damage buff, lowers the crit threshold by -1, increases the attack's accuracy by +2, but simultaneously increases the recoil damage from the shot by 5% [Medium/Heavy Dex Attack; DMG 18% 5% recoil]
Special Attacks (3)
Jumping Sakugarne: Quint summons his robot companion, Sakugarne, before mounting the the Pogostick/Jackhammer hybrid into battle. Quint gains a +4 buff to his DEX mod while riding Sakugarne, however also receives a -2 to the accuracy rolls of his Primary Attacks! It's cooldown does not occur until after dismounting Sakugarne. If Quint takes at least 25% damage in a single turn while riding, he's forcibly dismounted from Sakugarne and gains a host of debuffs. During the turn following, Quint takes a -4 to all dodge rolls and can take 2 less actions than normal. [4 turn cooldown]
Debris Sakugarne: A move that can only be used while Quint is riding Sakugarne. The companion robot's metal tip rips and tears violently upon impact with the ground, breaking apart and sending up harmful chunks of whatever surface Quint landed it on. This AoE attack can hit any opponent within close vicinity to the point of impact, assaulting them with debris that, in addition to damaging them, lowers its victim's available actions in a turn by 1. This attack can crit confirm twice, allowing it to triple the resulting damage if successful. Should a dodge roll to this attack lose by a factor greater than 10, the unfortunate victim will be inflicted with disabled!
Quint can only dismount Sakugarne on the same turn as this move's usage. [Medium DEX Attack; DMG 18%; 3 turn cooldown]
E-Tank: A good ol' can of energy, ripe for robots to crack open whenever they need that extra pep in their step. This can be used in either of two ways: One of those is that Quint can take a quick swig from the tank and refill on energy, reducing an incurred cooldown to 0, however he is not able to utilize his bubble shield and takes a -2 penalty to his next dodge on the following turn. Alternatively he can try to attempt a longer recharging session: by consuming all 3 of his turn's actions, the E-Tank will refill Quint's Health an amount equal to a 2d15+CHA roll. The E-Tanks can be used on allies as well, provided they are fully mechanical entities! Either effect utilized incurs a 2 turn cooldown before the E-Tank can refill for another usage.
Final Smash (1)
Purposefully left blank for later character development.
Other Info:
Quint is a robot built off of the framework of the original Mega Man, Rock. Originally from approximately 37.426 years in the future, Rock lived a time of peace and had long since been converted back to a harmless house robot. After being kidnapped by a time-traveling Dr. Wily though, Rock was reconverted back into a fighting Robot by the evil doctor in a shoddy attempt to combat Mega Man.
His conversion left Quint missing several key components that made him Rock, some on purpose as Dr. Wily didn't want to risk the chance of his newest creation regaining a conscience and turning on him. As a result, Quint quite literally is incapable of pursuing any objective except the destruction of Mega Man and even lacks the ability to converse outside a set of extensive, pre-set dialogue options the mad scientist programmed him with. Tunnel vision at its finest.
