• You aren't required to go as a single group. You can arrive separately and explore solo if you choose.

Mission Brief: "Says here in this transcript that we got a phone call from an 'Usagi Tsukino' pleading for help from 'Godless' Kichioji City. We have a radio system broadcasting as far as we can manage to try and contact survivors who might have phones from there world. But this girly and her parents aren't going to survive down there. The air's pretty toxic, and it's full of marauding gangsters and demons. Real evil place. You'd have to launch a full scale war to clean it out. I can't say I'd blame you for refusing, but I can't just let this girl's S.O.S. go unposted either. If you're willing to head down there and rescue them, I'll reward you generously."

Objective: Get Usagi out of that city.

"My name is Shiya, and I'm addicted t-oh wait this is a rescue mission?" Shiya uttered, asking for clarification. Oh wow, he thought this was just some random guy wanting to harass him for a survey, but nope it was a mission recruiter! Sweet! A grin spread across the ex-mage's face before he straightened up and professed with a confident voice: "Shiya Kirigaya, Leader of the Shiya Squad and Hero of Li at your service!"

"'Wage a full scare war to clean it out,' huh?" He echoed. Shiya pumped a fist into his chest before shooting it up towards the air; full of energy and confidence. "It's your lucky day then. You're looking at a one man army! My W's include: several self-proclaimed deities, some of the strongest warriors in the Life Sphere, A guy in a black bull costume that turned into a giant monster, a hoard of zombies, and Waluigi! Not to mention, did I mention I'm the leader of the Shiya Squad:" As if already prepared for a marketing opportunity, he quickly reached into his coat's inner pocket before presenting Captain T. with a small recruitment flyer for the Shiya Squad. "We're an up-and-coming organization of warriors and wimps alike, elevating others to greatness! Our motto is: All that glitters is gold, but only shooting stars break the mold."

He took a step back and continued to beam, happy that he'd made a good case for himself. Heck, with a pitch speech like that, he bet Chell would've been super proud if she'd heard it! ....Still, maybe he should sweeten the deal too. Subtly pressing a fist against his mouth, Shiya coughed to mask his next, very quick and softer spoken words. "COUGH--AlsoIhaveacarthatcanseatfivepeople--"

The "Hero of Life Itself," Shiya, is bored wants to lend a helping hand!

"Yahoo! A rescue mission? I'm all for it. Saving people is what I am made for and making sure those bad guys are taken care of is my job. For I am.." Joe strikes a pose as a fake explosion shoots out behind him. "Viewtiful Joe!" Joe said making his claim to enter the mission.

The Blue Vessel gives an eager thumbs up, shifting a bit in anticipation for a dangerous mission

"I'd like to help save her, I have no idea where Kichioji city is though, so I should probably match up with someone if I end up going"

Miah steps up to the captain, her tome strapped to her side while Eos simply sits on her shoulder. The Scholar having commanded the fairy before she entered to behave herself.

"Greetings, my name is Miah Lunaris." She starts off rather formally, giving a light bow to the captain before she resumes. "I saw the posting and I'm here to join this mission. Taking a group into a place like that is extremely dangerous and you're going to need someone who can keep both the group and the target alive. I can do that, and rather frequently as well. I've also got a lot of experience in doing this sort of thing. You can trust me to keep the party safe as long as feasibly possible."



Miah is attempting to join the mission, let's see if the healer and her familiar can get in!

"...D-did you just say Usagi?!" Minako would ask, suddenly slamming her hands on the desk before Captain T. "I know that girl! Thats my best friend!" Minako would say, and Quickly, Without even asking to see if she would be allowed to join in, Started gathering her Weapons to defend herself-- Primarily a bottle of pepper spray into her hand bag, along with a strange Pen! "Look, I dont have time for 'Can' or 'Cant's', My best friends down there, and i have to go save her!" Minako would plead, Looking to Captain T. With an Expression of extreme emotion on her face.

"She can defend herself, And so can i-- But were *stronger* Together, than we are apart! Please, Let me join!"

[Nostalgia]

Rosalina floated down a few meters from the captain, walking the last few steps to stand before him, holding her wand in one hand as she looked to the captain.

"Good morning captain. If there's a young woman stuck out there I would like to help bring them and their family to safety, especially when they're out in someplace as dangerous as that. I can fly them to safety and will do whatever I can to protect them when we find them." Rosalina's face was it's normal neutral expression, but her eyes had a determined light beneath them.



Rosalina is attempting to join the mission as a buffer and healer.

Haseo walks into the area and looks at the mission description before a smirk edges itself onto his face. "Saving people is not anything new for me Captain. If you need a Jack of all trades for your mission I'm just the guy you are looking for." Haseo said simply as he awaited a response. "I can do pretty much everything such as buff, heal, tank and even deal out damage. Just let me know if I got the job and that girl is as good as saved." Haseo said with confidence.

"Hmmm... what do you think, Kazooie? Should we help Usagi?"

"And run the risk of us getting slaughtered by demons? Sure, why not?"

"Is that sarcasm?"

"Maybe."

"Well, we have plenty of fighting experience, as well as a few items on hand, so we could certainly help out."

"We did save Star Fox and Star Wolf that one time, so yeah, I guess we have a good track record. Still, if we get killed, I'm blaming it on you."

Banjo and Kazooie would like to participate.

"...Welp. Nice bunch of recruits we have here today. Let's get these interviews started, shall we? Need to make sure you're the right fit for the job, after all."

"...Sir, this mission takes place underground."
The toad captain seems intensely unamused with Shiya, staring into his soul for a moment.
"...But if you can get your car down there, sure! Welcome to the team. Say, wasn't Shiya the name of that dangerous criminal we were supposed to be hunting?"
He thinks about this for a good moment.
"...Nah. The Shiya we're looking for doesn't own a car. And he definitely wouldn't walk into the police station looking to help us. Pffft. That guys a hard criminal."

" . . . No children. Sorry. Morale dropped like a rock after we let a team of kindergardeners who promised they could get the job done take on a Lich King or whatever his name was."

" . . . Unfortunately being mute is going to get in the way of doing your job. Better luck next time, uh..."
The toad captain pauses a moment to lean over and inspect Blue Vessel from a different angle. What in the hell was he looking at?
"...Champ."

"This mission calls for fights to be ended quickly and decisively. Unfortunately, healing won't accomplish that. Bet you'd be appreciated over at Lightweather Hospital, though."

"...Best friend, huh? Yeah I think we've got room for one best friend. But just one. None of that everyone's my best friend nonsense."

"...Flying, huh? Yeah, that might come in use. Just try not to attract too much attention while you're doing it, yeah? Once you've got a bunch of it, you'll have too many enemies to handle on your tail."

"I feel like I'm sending you to your death if I say yes. So no."
