The Dealer would say, as he Shuffled the deck, raising his hands and causing the entire deck to flutter across the air, Circling and mixing up with itselfs, Cards faces shifting from one picture to another, as it shuffled itself into a brand new deck...Until finally, The Dealer set it down, and produced Four cards. 

"Here are Three Aces The Game has selected for you. Pick one, And choose wisely."




"The Ace of Defect...Long way from home, Arnt we? Well...Arnt we all. This machination has strength, and intillect, but can not have both at once."

(The Ace of Defect will make your Ace Ghor. Along with Stats, Appearance and Moves, you will also receive 'Technological Advance', An Move which allows you to use your WIS to try and Turn Technological allies to your side, as Companions, with a max of 2.)



"The Ace of Dolls...An Agent of Blood, Chaos, And destruction. Madness is a terrible curse...But to live with it, is even greater."

(The Ace of Dolls will make your Ace Peri. Along with her Stats, Appearance and Moves, You will recieve 'Blood Hungry', A Permanent Buff in which your HP's Max is reduced to 50. However, Each enemy you kill with a Melee attack, Raises your Max HP by 10, and heals you for that much as well.)



"The Ace of Belmont...A Hunter, From a long forgotten clan. Can you reclaim his Duty?"

(The Ace of Belmont will make your Ace Richter Belmont.  Along with Stats, Appearance and Moves, You will receive 'Holy Smite', A Buff, in which Richter will Always deal an additional +5% Damage to Unholy targets.)

N sat at the table,  looking across to the masked man with a skeptical look on his face. While he did sign up to play his game of his own free will, he didn't exactly trust the person sitting across from him. No matter. One did not need to trust someone to play a game with them. And play N was going to. As the cards fluttered around the room and shuffled themselves, N steeled his nerves, preparing himself for whatever might happen in this strange game

Once the deck formed, four cards laid themselves in front of him. N studied the last one first. So this was the one he was to defeat? Interesting...N then considered the other cards, what he presumed were his choices for characters. His eyes wandered over the first one, the Ace of Defect...The monster he was supposed to defeat was a trickster, yes? It wouldn't be very easy to deceive a machine. 

"I choose...the Ace of Defect" N said, sliding the card toward the Dealer. Then came the rest of the Deck.

"What kind of game would this be if I did not see it to completion? I will cut the deck high" N said confidently. He was starting to get a feel for this, and rest assured, he would go through with this, and he would be victorious

The Dealer would nod, Taking the Deck into his hand...And with that, Suddenly a flourishing wind would send the cards flying across the table in single file, Mini-decks forming across the table, and several cards landing upon the table to form some form of a Map. And, of course, N's Gold Coin would land on the table, at the very first Event to flip...

"Bloody Tears...If there were ever the symbol for the interference of the supernatural, This would be it. Fear of the Chaos, Perpetrates itself in this card.  You have a chance for a Gift of Night, or a Gift of Day. You walk into a Village, At the strike of midnight...." The Dealer said, A single Red token floating to his side, and a Normal, Golden one.

And with that, A Mist would consume N's Vision, His body feeling numb for but a second...


Before suddenly, His vision would return, Suddenly his body feeling much more metallic, and-- Oh hey, he grew a good 2 Feet! He was Now the form of Ghor, With his Standard, Un-mechanized body, Walking into a village.



It was Dark, The Red Blood Moon hovering in the sky, only barely obscured by an odd cloud, which in the distance, a strange castle could be seen...From the Castle, A Loud, Roaring bong would release. The Townsfolk scatter in a rush, Screaming loudly in fear and terror, of something Ghor/N Was clearly unaware of. "B-by god, Man the defenses, There COMING!!!!"

The Many door's and homes were locked, Many cries of Children and parents loudly screaming across the village. One could hear a cat meow in the alleyway...Before suddenly being silenced, with a Screech in agony.

Shall you inspect the Alleyway, Or shall you sheek shelter yourself?

N watched as the grid was formed, the token was laid, and the card was flipped over, the red background shining in the flickering candlelight. N stared at the image on the card. "Bloody Tears? What does that-"

Before N could finish his question, the Dealer was lost from his vision, enshrouded by a cloud of mist. When the clouds cleared, N was in what looked like a small village. And, he realized by looking down, his body had transformed into a slim, mechanical frame, with no flesh in sight. GhorN barely had time to register the situation before a blood-curling shriek ripped through the air. As the villagers ran for safety, GhorN started moving the other way. There was obviously something tormenting the people here, GhorN was going to figure out what it was

His attention grabbed by the yowling cat in the alley, GhorN peeked his head past the wall, looking for some kind of disturbance. Whatever was attacking this village, N was ready for it. He just hoped this new form was up to the task.

As GhorN would near the Dark alleyway, His eyes would have to take a second to truly adjust to the unfair darkness, To view that, In place of what was expected, He would only see a Puddle of Water, which was illuminated Red by the skies above. It seems the cat that was here, was Gone...A Few moments would pass, before a slight splish would occur inside, making the puddle waver and wobble...

*SPLASH!!*

Suddenly, Jumping from the tiny puddle, A massive form would erupt.

A Merman would leap from the Puddle, Its eyes closing with a horrendous Schlick, before opening once more, Its mouth bloodied slightly, as it seemed clear what had occured. The Fishy Man looked at GhorN, Tilting its head. That didn't look like a Human it was told to kill, after all...

Attack the Merman?

The darkness didn't make GhorN's search very easy, but eventually his eyes adjusted. What lay before his eyes was.....not what he expected. Not a monster, or any danger, as far as he could see. The only thing that seemed remotely out of place was the puddle of water in the middle of the alley. "Huh," GhorN thought, "Perhaps I was imagining things"

He turned back and was about to leave the alleyway behind, but a loud splash of water grabbed his attention back toward the puddle. There before him stood a monstrous fish....thing. GhorN started at the Merman as it stared back at him. It seemed almost....docile. GhorN was about to leave it behind when he noticed the bloodstain around his mouth. Oh...That's what happened to the cat.

Determining that the Merman was indeed a danger toward all the people here, GhorN prepared to take it down! Except...

"What can this body do?" GhorN said. As if giving him an answer, the Energy Cannon at his side glowed with life. Well, he didn't have much else for ideas, so he might as well.

The First two power beams illuminated the desolate alleyway, The true sight of the blood covering the walls as no doubt a shock to GhorN, as the Beams struck the Mer-man dead in its nose, Making the monstrous demon stumble backward, Until eventually diving back into its Puddle, Dodging the Beam before it emerged once more, and suddenly fired off a high power stream of cutting water at GhorN, Looking to cut its Metal!


(GhorN, Roll Dex higher than 10 To avoid the Cutting blast, Or suffer 12 Damage, and the Soaked Status Effect!)

The Power Beam seemed to be working. GhorN was successfully driving the beast back into his puddle. GhorN was about to leave the alley again when a shot of water whistled right past his metal head. Guess this Merman wasn't quite finished with him yet. "Fine. You want to play rough? Bring it, fish-breath!" GhorN said. Huh. Sounds like Ghor's aggressiveness was starting to have an effect on N. 

Checking his person again, GhorN soon found what looked like a sort of explosive. Eh, as good as anything else he might try...
