(Summary)
The earliest known point in Ghor’s history is his time as a soldier during a liberation war on Wotan VII. Not much is known about the war other than Ghor suffered a near fatal incident where he lost 94% of his original body. Through the miracle of science and state of the art cybernetic technology, the remaining 6% of his body was rebuilt into a new bodice. His memories and personality remained in tact, allowing him to continue the fight.
At some point later in his life time, he chose the path of a bounty hunter, though not for reasons of fortune or thrill of the fight, he wasn’t the most capable fighter on his own. His compassion for the weak and troubled won out over anything else, so much so that he often worked for free or gave the bounty money he earned to the victims of his targets.
His line of work often included computer infiltration or manipulation, however, whenever it was necessary he would pull out the big guns. What Ghor lacked in power, his armour suit made up for tenfold. Once merged with the suit though, his personality would shift immensely, trading his gentle intelligence for violent aggression. This suit doubles as a gunship.
While he tended to work independent from any form of governmental body, both his battle prowess and technological knowhow were desired by the Galactic Federation. Their Aurora Units were corrupted by Phazon, in addition to their operations being held back by Space Pirates. Their first mission was placed on Norion. With the help of a few other notable Bounty Hunters, the Space Pirates on the planet were eliminated, however, Dark Samus prevented them from completing their mission. The ensuing battle infested Ghor and his team with parasites that self-produced Phazon.
The Federation provided Ghor with a new suit that would help channel and control the Phazon within his body and sent him off to Elysia to continue his mission of restoring the Aurora Units.
Appearance:
History On Li: Not too long after receiving order to restore the Aurora Unit of Skytown on Elysia, Ghor’s ship was intercepted by a Space Pirate frigate. The bumpy road didn’t prove too much of a challenge for Ghor or his armour suit, however, during the battle a tear in space ripped wide open, absorbing Ghor and what was left of the space pirates. Fumbling through the space-time continuum, Ghor eventually found himself within orbit of Li. Without much time to analyze the situation, he quickly found himself plummeting toward the planet’s surface.
Luckily, Ghor’s suit took the brunt of the impact, though it was reduced to nothing more than scrap metal. He investigated the bizarre planet he found himself on, though made haste once his onboard computers warned him of the toxicity of the outside air. His sensors detected a haven in the distance, a city trapped within a bubble. Perhaps they could point him in the right direction, after all, he still had an important mission to return to.
Once reaching the Life Sphere, Ghor was briefed on the situation, given the details of where he was and how he got there. The latter question wasn’t a direct answer, but many on the planet’s surface had a similar experience. Ghor returned to his job as a Bounty Hunter, though the Phazon caught up with him. Much like his fate on Skytown, Ghor was corrupted by the substance within him. The parasite acted as any infective host would, seeking survival.
Where most saw a lunatic, the corrupted Ghor saw much potential in Sonic’s plan to escape the planet and reduce it to dust. The Phazon parasite saw the Starvia as a threat to its expansion, so it needed to be eradicated by any means necessary. Taking advantage of Ghor’s technical prowess, the parasite convinced him to aid Sonic in the construction of his new space craft, steering clear of the public eye as he worked on his dark designs.
As an invasive force threatened the destruction of the Absolution, Ghor acted as the first line of defense, believing it to be his duty to protect the project he spent most of his time developing. It seemed simple at first, but he was eventually overwhelmed by the task force. He decided that if he couldn’t defeat them, he could at the very least cripple them so that they could be picked off by the next line of defense, considering that he would merely be morphed into trophy form and brought back aboard the ship.
Before he could be slain, he was cured of his corruption, ceasing the plans of his alter ego to prevent the Absolution from taking flight and devastating the planet. It was too little too late for him to do much, but he prevented the taskforce from being caught in his mech suit’s explosion.
After being defeated though, Ghor found himself within the confines of Lightweather Hospital. As he was freshly converted from trophy mode, he found his body to lack the corruption it had endured over his time on Li, figuring that it not only revitalized his strength, but it also purged him of his Phazon infection. At the very least, it reset the parasite to square one, making him in control of his body once more. He held all the memories of his corrupted self, as such he swore to reverse the damages done by his alter ego, in addition to making a new set of protocols in case the parasite tried to take control once more.
Primary Attacks (3)
Power Beam: Useful for rapid firing down enemies or simply opening doors, has a light and medium setting depending on the occasion. [8% or 18%]
Phazon Grenade: Repurposed from Space Pirate technology, Ghor can toss these around the battlefield for small tactical explosions or on himself in a tight situation. The grenade deals 20% damage on all foes within the blast radius, in addition to inflicting the Berserk status upon them. 2 turn cooldown. Upon reaching Phaze 3, Ghor can boost the effects of this attack by infusing the grenade with more potent Phazon, trading the secondary effect for more power, adding an additional 8% damage.
Plasma Beam: Ghor’s signature weapon can be utilized one of two ways. The more combat oriented would utilize its main function, maiming and burning enemies, dealing 18% damage in addition to 30% chance to Burn. This attack can only be utilized once per turn, otherwise it will overheat his weapon. It is also a constructive tool, its fine tip and Ghor’s finesse allows him to repair equipment and cauterize Mortal Wounds.
Special Attacks (3)
Overload: Provided it is techy enough, Ghor can overclock an enemy’s weaponry (Ex: Super Scope is hackable, while baseball bat is not). Should the hack prove successful, sparks will radiate from the weapon, dealing 12% damage to the wielder and renders the weapon useless for 2 turns. 2 turn cooldown.
Corruption: After the Phazon Parasite had taken host within his body, Ghor was equipped with a specialized PED Suit that would channel the Phazon growing inside him to his weaponry to boost its power. However, should the Parasite overpower him it could corrupt him completely. The state of his HP will usually determine what stage of corruption he’ll be at, which will make him more powerful, but also more violent. At 90% HP, he’ll be at Phaze 1, giving him a -1 Mod to CHR and +1 to DEX, he’ll be at a state where he can still control himself decently well. At 60% HP, he’ll be at Phaze 2, giving him an additional -1 Mod to CHR and +1 to WIS, he will be notably more violent. At 30% HP, he’ll be at Phaze 3, giving him an additional -1 Mod to CHR and +1 to DEX, by this point he will be fully corrupted. Ghor can bypass the three-stage process by using his Phazon Grenade on himself, if he is hit by Phazon/Darkness-based heavy attacks, or other Phazon based items, though fully corrupting himself is a last resort tactic. Conversely, being hit by light/holy based heavy attacks will instantly cure him of corruption. Corruption also acts as a Status Affliction.
Rerouting Power: Ghor’s enhanced cybernetics allow him to be quite capable at manipulating technology to perform tasks better. Ghor can enhance an synthetic ally’s damage output (or his own), however, it comes at a cost to efficiency. Ghor must reroute power reserves, which will be -2 to a Mod of the user’s choice (STR, DEX, or WIS) to boost their damage output by 1.5x for 3 turns. Upon entering Phaze 2 though, Ghor will become reckless and choose to take an easier route, so the target will still get an increased damage output of 1.5x, however, there is a 50% chance they will contract a Virus this way. Should they get a Virus this way, the buff will last the same length as the Virus, otherwise 3 turns as well. These effects are not stackable. Ghor is also capable of doing the reverse to synthetic enemies (damage x0.5, +2 to Mod of their choice, targets INT).
Armour Suit Merger
At a moment’s notice Ghor can call upon his mech armour to turn the tide of battle. Upon linking to his armour, he will remain at the same level of Phaze as his regular form, keeping the same buffs. In addition to that, he will temporarily gain 100 HP, should this form suffer more than 100 HP, it will be transferred to his regular form. This transformation lasts 3 turns.

Primary Attacks (3)
Arm Blades: One major advantage to the armour suit upgrade is the additional arm blades provided, allowing Ghor to slice and dice to his heart’s content. [8% or 18%]
Homing Missiles: A barrage of missiles erupt from the suit’s chassis, seeking out a single target. Three missiles will home in on their location, each dealing 10% damage, all operating under the same accuracy roll. How many ultimately hit the target will be dependant on their dodge roll. If they crit fail or roll a third or under Ghor’s accuracy roll, they will be hit by all three. If they roll higher than a third, but lower than half, they will be hit by two. If they roll higher than half, but not higher than Ghor’s accuracy roll, one missile will hit. If the target uses their bubble shield, they will be hit by all missiles.
Plasma Beam: While in his mech form, Ghor can still utilize his signature Plasma Beam, however, it acts as a chest mounted beam this time around. Still deals 18% damage in addition to 30% chance to Burn, but without the cooldown of his regular form.
Special Attacks (3)
Hookshot: From within the mech’s claws, a set of grappling hooks will launch upon his enemies, allowing him to grapple enemies from afar and pull them in closer, locking them into a grapple once they are in range. Depending on their size, Ghor can grapple up to two enemies and lock them into his claws, though can just as easily release them by slamming them into the ground or tossing them away. Grapple and throw each cost a Combat Action. [25%]
Corruption: As mentioned before, all buffs that Ghor gained in regular form will be transferred to this form as well, in addition to the level of Phaze he was at. The only difference in this mode is that he will reach the next level of Phaze after every 50% damage he takes, assuming he is not already at Phaze 3. Although, at Phaze 2, in addition to the WIS boost, he will receive a +1 to his STR Mod and -1 to his INT Mod, which does not carry over to his regular form.
Heavy Slam: Utilizing his suit’s thrusters, Ghor can leap into the air and hover for as long as he pleases, however, what goes up must come down. Selecting his preferred target, Ghor crashes back onto the ground and on top of the unfortunate enemy he chose. The sheer force of the impact will also damage the nearby enemies by way of shockwave. Impact [25%], shockwave [17%] (both have individual accuracy rolls). 1 turn cooldown.
Other Info: Upon being trophified, Ghor will be revitalized, no longer consumed by the Phazon within him. However, unless the infection is properly disposed of, the Phazon will remain in his body, threatening to overtake him as soon as he becomes weak enough for it to take control once again.
