Today, Sunshine Stadium was looking a bit ... different. The floor of the giant arena was, simply put, missing. Sheer cliffsides lead down to a large stone platform suspended above lava deep in the earth. You'd have to fly down to get to the actual arena, above which the crowd had a... decent view thanks to just how large the arena was compared to the platform they'd be fighting on. Of course, you could get some help down from a bird pokemon or your friendly neighborhood psychic or something. But regardless, the fight awaited. The group just had to form up and present themselves to the awaiting Titan. The enormous figure waited patiently for his challenge, quietly ignoring the crowd above.

Black and White arrive sharing a ride on Black's braviary, Landing at the bottom of the chasm. " . . . I don't get it. Why do they call this battlefield the navel?" White asked as they hopped off the giant bird pokemon. Black gave her a funny look in response. "Because from up in the air it looks like a navel~!" Black replied in a matter-o-fact tone, earning herself a bewildered look from White. "Like... a ship? It looked kinda round to me." White replied rather helplessly, clearly a bit frustrated. "No silly. Like a belly button!" Black replied with a little giggle, lifting her shirt a bit in demonstration. White was briefly taken off guard by this, but didn't think much of it. This was Black she was talking to, after all. Passing a glance and comparing the view above them to Black's belly for a moment, she tapped her chin. "...Yeah! I guess I see it." she replied rather casually, leading Black to fix her shirt. "And that's our fight, huh?" White went on to ask, gesturing at the silent behemoth sitting there at the opposite end of the platform they were on. Black glanced at Titan, but passed him off with a simple "Yeah, I guess!" ...We all knew who she was really here for.

Moon looked down at the arena in which the rather gigantic Legendary they were fighting was awaiting on the legs of her hovering Decidueye, kind of like holding onto a kite. Her, a few other champions and a turtle were set to take down this giant Rock/Ground Type... if she had to guess. The Rotom Dex apparently had no data on the behemoth. If she had to guess, she could probably fit four Nebbys' to make the size of that thing. Still, the bigger they are the... more strength they needed to move all that extra muscle mass? That's how that saying went, right?... Either way he was undoubtedly strong but agility would be a great asset to taking him down, which her whole team was pretty good at.

It looked like two of the other girls were already here on a bird of their own. Robin glided down until there was enough distance for her to drop down onto the ground and he gracefully landed in front. The cautious avian archer cautiously obsereved the titanic stone giant that towered over him... Like ten times his size. What has Moon gotten them into agreeing to this? "Nice to meet you, two! I'm Moon, first Champion of Alola~! Hope this turns out to be a great battle! I have plenty of medicine if you girls get hurt too bad," Moon greeted as a proper nurse and battle enthusist. Robin just remained silent for now, not seeing much reason for introduction. Looks like two others have yet to show up anyway.

Bowser Jr. flew down toward Sunshine Stadium. Strange, Jr. thought. Usually the Stadium didn't look that...deep. Good thing that he had the Clown Car with him. Hovering down the chasm, Jr. caught a glimpse of the titanic...Titan that was waiting for them at the bottom. He also saw a small crowd of  people standing in the arena. Those must be the people he was fighting with! Jr. flew toward the group, and got ready to start fighting.

"Let's pulverise this mountain man, guys" Bowser Jr. said. Geez, Jr., at least introduce yourself first...

Suddenly a giant figure eclipsed the sun above the stadium; bathing the entire area in a purple-tinged shadow as loud, hype music began blaring from overhead. The source of the shadow? Oh just a giant Palkia, nothing to worry about. Riding atop Cinnawonn, her fists resting firmly on her hips while wearing a wide grin was none other than the pokemon trainer of Sinnoh fame: Dawn!

"YOU READY TO ROCK, PEOPLE!?" Dawn shouted, her voice being magnified to the point of reverberating across the entire stadium ten times over! It was almost like the trainer's voice was being broadcast from everywhere simultaneously! Go figure; having a pokemon that manipulates space means having access to a pretty good acoustics system after she taught Cinnawonn a few neat tricks. Suddenly dropping into a drastic fall, the legendary beast dive-bombed past the sheer-dropping  cliff sides before crashing into the platform on it's feet, causing a small tremor.

Leaping off Cinnawonn at the last moment, the blue-haired ace trainer performed a flashy pirouette in the air before landing on the ground in front of the group that had gathered to fight. Upon landing, she and her the Palkia struck a dramatic pose while offering their large rocky foe a challenging grin. (Although, Cinnawonn's came out as more threatening snarl than a challenging grin. A for effort?) "Presenting the Champion of the Sinnoh Pokemon League! Here to capture all your hearts and pokemon; the very best like no one ever was: "

...yeah, she was laying it on a bit thick; but honestly she felt like she deserved it. For working really hard to get her title, Dawn rarely had the chance to flaunt it around. Can you blame her for getting a little hyped up for a stadium battle for the crowd (and herself)? Gotta capitalize on that name recognition!

White gives Moon a funny look for a good long moment. "...Alola has a champion?" she asked in bewilderment, glancing to Black. "Yeah~! They established it a couple of years after the world tournament." Black replied. "Oh, wow... A whole new league. I didn't think I'd get to see one get created in my lifetime." White thoughtfully added. "My name's Touko Emiko, but most people just call me White, or the Heroine of Truth. I was briefly the champion of the unova region, but I left to continue my journey by searching for a ...friend. It's nice to meet you!"  White replied, offering Moon a very bright and inviting smile. She liked being greeted with an offer to take care of her. "And my name's Rosa Kumiko! ...But we both go by Black and White, because I'm the Heroine of ideals~! Kinda cute, right?" Black replied, beaming slightly. "...Also the world champion, and a famous movie star..." White added with a roll of her eyes. "Whiiite, stop~!" Black light-heartedly whined in a bashful manner. "I'm not sure if we're from the same world, since the Hero of Ideals was a man named N in my world, but I found a new friend while searching for an old one. So that's fine either way." only for a weird unidentified pokemon to show up and start talking. The duo stopped to stare.

...Hey, did anyone have any spare pokeballs?

But then, Dawn arrived and Black lit up with Joy. "And that's my trainer~! She's not kidding about catching your heart~" she cheerily remarked, gesturing to Dawn. She then greeted Dawn with a wave and a bright smile. White couldn't help but subtly roll her eyes, smirking at the idea. "...She really isn't. Did you know you can capture people just like pokemon here? It's weird, but as long as they're treated right I guess I don't see the big deal. Better than being caught by a bad trainer with loose morals, anyway." White elaborated, turning her attention back to Moon. "Why haven't you let anyone catch you yet, White~? Waiting for the right person~?" Black playfully teased, eliciting a little blush from White. White seemed to deflate after a moment, averting her eyes. "...Well, maybe. Nobody's tried." she replied rather off-handedly, a bit of self-consciousness slipping into her tone and body language. She wasn't oblivious to Black being the more popular of them. And she really couldn't blame anyone. Being champion of the entire world and a world famous movie star did wonders for your recognition. Still, she felt a little inadequate when she thought about how many friends she (didn't) have compared to Black. "Thanks for choosing me Dawn~! Let's battle in sync and roggenrola this monster back to the quary~!"

The rumbling of the earth would soon signal that their true arena boss was ready for combat. As he stood up, the ground gently trembled. Without a word, Titan watched the group expectantly. He would show no mercy to a gaggle of girls and their dog too! ...Especially after that pun. I am a monster deity but you are the real monster here, Black.

...... Aw man, their titles were so much cooler than her's. Why was she not a hero of something? She defeated... Ultra Beasts and Lusamine, which was a family matter... huh. "Wait, you are THAT Rosa?! I was not planning to meet the champion of the world! I would of came in something other than this hat and shorts!" Moon stated in shock at White's mention of her other careers. There was also this weird turtle thing that appeared but that was quickly shadowed by the MESSING AROUND OF SPACE! "... Can you do that?" Moon looked down at Nebby in her Pokeball, who merely tilted her head a bit in confusion. "You can catch people here?! Huh, I did not know that... A... bit concerning that's that a thing. Is that what happens when no system is around for that kind of thing..." Moon replied to White before turning into a mumble as she went into a bit of nerd speak.

Though she did notice that White seemed a bit dejected by the fact no one has tried to catch her. "Cheer up, White! You can't let just anyone be your trainer! You have to have a real bond, like a family! I am sure you can find someone like that~!" Moon assured before looking to the titan. "But right now the goal is this Titan! Robin, show him your archery mastery!" Moon commanded as a Robin nodded and jumped up to fire a string of two arrows with a bit of draw from a vine to fire them at the titan, aiming for any spot that looked like the arrows could damage.

"You better believe it!" Dawn professed proudly, overhearing White's lamentations and Black's enthusiasm with an unmistakable grin. She just couldn't help it. The atmosphere, the crowd's cheers, a giant friggin rock monster right in front of them and prime for the catching! There was no way in hell that Dawn wouldn't be pumped up by all of this. Holding up her fist as Cinnawonn posed dramatically behind her (also having fun in the limelight, mind you), Dawn winked at her companions before pointing out a finger towards the Titan as it stood up in preparation for battle.

"That's the spirit, Black! We're gonna make a graveler out of that golem!" Punning it up, Dawn motioned for Cinnawonn to rush foreward at their opponent with a confident poke. Noting the signal; the poke-god eagerly flexed it's wings before it charged towards the rocky beast. Within two or three strides, the kaiju-mon had already grown in size to match their unfortunate foe; each of the palkia's thunderous steps shaking the already tremor-filled earth below to an even greater extent as his trainer took charge.

"Cinnawonn! Use Dragon Breath to weaken it and hit it with all you got with Spacial Rend!"

Baring it's teeth in a wild grin, the space-pokemon let out an ear-splitting roar before a fierce bout of dragon-flames erupted from the creature's maw, straight towards it's subject a mere arms-span away; simultaneously all the while winding up it's claws to slash into the Titan. Even before launching the attack, spacial energy cascaded off of Palkia's claws, bearing an ancient and dangerous power.

Bowser Jr felt a tad annoyed that no one was really taking him seriously. "Come on, guys, what's with all the weird looks?" he asked, only to be mostly ignored. Jr was about to get really annoyed when they ground started shaking, and out of the depths can the biggest mound of rock Jr had ever laid eyes on. "Is that what we're fighting?" Jr. thought. This thing was huge! How were they going to take it down?

"I think this guy's just a little to big for me" Jr said "So how about I take him down a notch." With that, Jr let out a deafening screech toward Titan. What exactly is yelling at him going to do, Jr.?

Apparently yelling can accomplish quite a bit. Once he calmed down, Jr pulled a hammer out of his shell. "Well, it's a mountain. Might as well do some mining" he said, and he tossed the hammer at the mountain. Jr., I don't think that's how mining works.

Black and White's Turn

Black giggled, beaming brightly at Moon. "That's okay! I think you look nice~! We can go out and grab something to drink or go shopping sometime if you wanna show me your best after we've finished battling." Black replied. Given how simply humble Moon's outfit was, it was hard to believe Black was being anything but generous. But was that so bad? She certainly didn't seem to mind either way. She was also inviting Moon out on a date to make a new good impression some other time, all of which added up to hint at a general kindness to her disposition. "Mmhm. I once asked Doctor Ciel to explain it to me. She's worked with Li's pokemon database in the past. Apparently, pokeballs need the help of a Global Transmissions Service to tell them what is and isn't human. And since this planet's atmosphere is really hostile and supplies are limited, there just aren't any satellites to do that here on Li. So when the pokeball asks and doesn't get a response, it just defaults to thinking it discovered a new species." White explained, glancing up at the sky above them. It was easy to forget just how hostile the open atmosphere was outside of the Life Sphere at times. Launching big, expensive satellites that would be vulnerable to attacks and atmospheric degradation was... understandably not a popular initiative. A fool's pursuit, perhaps. Hearing Moon's words though, White was momentarily taken aback in surprise. "...Isn't that the truth. Thanks for thinking about me, ...Moon." she replied, hiding a bashful smile by tipping her hat to the other. It seemed like Moon's words had hit home. They had been unexpectedly insightful, especially from someone she didn't rightfully know. She felt as if Moon had just reached out and caressed her heart without warning. Certainly not an unpleasant sensation, but a shocking one. How she missed her old friends from Unova. It was them that her heart ached for.

"I've got your back every step of the way, Dawn! Braviary, use tailwind and give Tepig a boost!"

(( Braviary has used Tailwind; He and Tepig gain a +2 to their dex mods and do 3% extra damage for 3 turns ))

On cue, Braviary sweapt up Tepig and dashed into the air, chasing the other trainers and Bowser Jr's attacks with a pair of their own! "This monster's a rock type, right? Tepig, use Iron Tail!" White called out. As Braviary made a pass, Tepig leapt off mid-flight and struck Titan with a glowing metallic tail!!

"Good idea! Braviary, use mimic on Tepig's Iron Tail!" Black called out, and on cue Braviary made another pass and this time turned mid-flight to strike at Titan with a tail made of iron! He dove lower this time, mostly to catch Tepig while she fell back to the ground before landing back near the trainers, unable to stay in the air indefinitely without exhausting himself.

Titan's Turn

With several valiant attempts at valiantly bringing Titan down to size being brought out but only a few of them truly breaching his his defenses, the group managed to do... a significant amount of damage to the massive monster. Everything was looking good! Well, other than Bowser Jr screaming at him and just getting stared down in response. That was slightly scary. HOW DARE ...But then, with a lumbering groan, Titan surprised probably everyone by crouching down and lunging high into the sky, clearing the top of the navel entirely! Woah! That was some impressive jumping feat. And then ... he came back down.

"Incoming!!" White blurted out in fright.

And then Titan slammed down into the pillar with such force that a shockwave shot out like an explosion to meet the combatants, several chunks on the edge of the arena falling off from the force of impact into the lava pool below.

(( Titan's Geocrush! Everyone must roll 12+ CON to avoid being stunned. If you succeed your roll, you only suffer a -2 penalty to your next dodge/resistance roll instead. ))

Black, Tepig and Braviary managed to brace themselves against the explosion, suffering only disorientation, their breath being knocked out of them and some sliding backward, Black's pigtails blowing wildly in the wind as she shielded her eyes. White, however, was thrown off her feet and went flying backward, rolling and sliding across the ground as she lost control of herself before ... disappearing over the edge. Oh crud! ...For a brief moment it might seem like she'd just taken a deadly dip into the lava, which was absolutely horrifying in prospect, eliciting a little squeal of alarm from Black once she recovered her composure. Retrieving a trophy from the lava was a very complicated endeavor, possibly impossible depending on if they could even find it wherever the lava took it. But... after a moment what could be mistaken for a rock in the dusty, heat ridden air turned out to be a hand clutching the edge of the arena for dear life. White winced as she looked down below her, the heat from the lava rising up to roast her thighs and sting her eyes. She could've died right then and there if she hung there for long enough, but she summoned her strength and pulled herself back up, crawling back onto the arena on her hands and knees. Her eyes were tearing up from the heat they'd briefly been exposed to, causing her to rub at them where she sat, struggling to regain her composure.

But the battle wasn't over yet...

The ground began to liquify underneath... Dawn and Robin! It acted like quicksand, pulling them down and threatening to pull them under, burying them alive!

Titan then brought a fist down into the ground, violently smashing the ground and creating an explosive shockwave aimed directly at Robin!

And finally, Titan began stomping on the ground with titanic force, sending weaker shockwaves racing across the ground to attack everyone at once!

Black was torn. Did she save Dawn, or White? They both looked a little like they were struggling right now. ...She quickly rethought her question and sent Braviary to fetch White for her before rushing to Dawn's aid. Crouching down at the edge of the quicksand, she leaned out as far as she could and offered Dawn her arms. "Dawn... Grab my arms, I'll pull you out!" she instructed. Come on Dawn... Be strong, like she knows you can be! There was a comforting, protective hug waiting in those arms if you could just get close enough! Of course, Black wasn't giving up on Dawn. Even if she failed her strength check, she'd pull her out of there exhausted if she had to.

Though Cinnawonn was successful in damaging the Titan considerably in it's head-on assault, the creature seemed to have a lot more fight in it as it completely leapt straight into the air before crashing back to the ground. Thankfully, Dawn was far away enough from the point of impact not to be affected by the Titan's Geocrush... but unfortunately, Cinnawonn was positioned smack-underneath the thing as it crashed down; quite literally getting 'geo-crushed' underneath the stone behemoth. "Paaaa-!!!" The Palkia cried out in pain as it was forcibly smashed into the stone pillar, rendered completely stunned even afterwards. 

"Oooh.... that's gotta smart." Dawn winced, empathizing for her big, little buddy. She had a feeling that he was gonna need some serious petting and cuddles after this battle. Though Dawn didn't have long to worry about her pokemon as she noticed a trainer that actually did get blown away by the Titan's attack:

"White!" 

She screamed in fear witnessing the trainer seemingly get sent over the edge into the pit of lava below. Her heart practically leaped out of her chest seeing the girl seemingly be thrown to a fiery death. Thankfully, White pulling herself back up moments later proved to ease Dawn's panic... but not before she practically tackled White in a worried hug. "Oh god, I thought you died! Be careful, you dummy!"

Unfortunately, Dawn didn't have much more time to express her relief as the worried cries of her Palkia quickly brought her back to the battle at hand. Letting the girl go with a reassuring smile and nod, Dawn went running back towards the center of the pillar... only for her feet to stop moving half-way in. "W-What?!"

Helplessly caught within the quicksand's clutches, the previously confident trainer was exhausted in her attempts to escape the ground attempting to swallow her up completely! "Wha-...What is this stuff...!?" Crying out, Dawn could do nothing but struggle in her attempts to not sink into the ground; even those eventually being stifling as the shock-wavesfrom the Titan's Tumult drove her painfully further into a rocky doom... soon nothing being left for Black to even pull back up besides a hand cut from sight at the elbow, desperately clawing for the air.

After managing to recover from the onslaught of abuse it'd been receiving, the Palkia finally managed to recover and return it's attention back to the current fight. Shaking the remnants of confusion from it's head, Cinnawonn turned to see it's trainer in distress being helped by his fellow pokemon before turning to let out a fierce growl at the Titan. Charging forward, the dragon-type let out an ear-splitting roar that sent ripples through space itself around the arena. If this thing wanted to battle with the elements, it'd chosen to mess with the wrong pokemon! Without further warning, space above the arena began folding in on itself as pockets within reality suddenly began flooding the entire arena with freezing cold waters while the ground underneath the Titan ruptured in a fierce and harmful explosion!

Thankfully, spacial distortion bubbles were formed around each and every one of Cinnawonn and Dawn's allies, including themselves, to protect them from drowning within the Surf's flooding depths... though the Titan would be hard pressed in a search for air bubbles for itself to survive should it need to breathe. In addition, these distortions in reality around their allies also proved to help as well in combating the Titan's negative detriments to their speed as the Palkia utilized the disrupted space for it's Trick Room ability!

Bowser Jr looked on in triumph as most of their attacks connected with the giant, who, alerted by his scream, glared down at him, with enough anger to make Jr retreat into his shell. The glare didn't last long, however, because the Titan suddenly rocketed into the air, coming back down with the force of, well, a mountain.

The force of the Titan crashing to earth was so forceful, that Jr. couldn't do anything but hold on as he was sent flying, any sense of control that he usually had was gone. When he landed back on the ground, dangerously close to the edge of the arena, he already felt the ground starting to shake. It was all Jr could do to keep himself from falling off the arena like White almost did.

Once the shaking stopped, Jr peered out of his shell. Noting that the Titan was open to attacks again, he smirked, and retreated into his shell again. Instead of defence, however, this time, Jr hurled himself at the mountain, with his shell slamming against the solid rock.

"Don't worry about it~. Girls have to look out for each other after all. If you ever need anything, I have your back!" Moon assured with a raised fist and a big smile. They had to support each other, especially on this dangerous planet. This is far more dangerous than back home after all.

Moon and Robin weren't prepared for the explosion, the bird getting blasted back while Moon was flew back as well over the edge.. She was usually pretty good with balance but she was no match from the force of these quakes. What happened to Robin? She looked down to see Robin stuck in quicksand. The bird was struggling against the quicksand but could not make any ground due to the previous stun.

Robin was already so shaken he could not do anything but was crushed by the explosive fist and be rattled by the shockwaves. Moon struggled to get up as Robin looked horribly battered. "Robin! No good to keep on fighting! Nebby can handle this!" Moon called out as she returned Robin and sent out Nebby... Who was not so good for this either but she did not have many options. "Alright, Nebby let's focus our powers together while Black helps the others! Time for a technique only we can do! This arrow coated in the glow of the moon will penetrate even the roughest of mountains! Shining Arrow!" Moon called as she prepared an arrow on her bow as the area got more and more darker as Nebby ate the light around them, even the lava struggling to illuminate the area, the arrow becoming the brightest source of light. She then fired it with her aim at the Titan, hoping to do some major damage as Nebby grounded himself.... just to be fair.

Black and White's Turn

White was a bit woozy from having breathed in some toxic air moments earlier, nearly falling over when Dawn hugged her. Her arms reflexively wrapped around Dawn in response, settling around her waist. "...Sorry, Dawn... I'll try to be more careful next time." an equally relieved White breathlessly replied with a bright smile. She didn't seem to mind being called a dummy. Something about the way Dawn had said it came off rather affectionate to her, and so she treated it with all the respect of an authoritative command. White took a moment to enjoy the way Dawn was fussing over her, as well as their shared embrace. A sweet, affectionate, possessive hug that came all too naturally after nearly losing one another. White laid her forehead against Dawn's, closing her eyes for a very brief moment and allowing herself to forget the battle around them.

...It all took just a couple of seconds, but then she felt Dawn's gaze snap in response to Palkia's cry and she quickly became alert again, releasing the other and nodding encouragingly. Taking a deep breathe to stave off the dizziness from breathing in the toxic air, White moved to follow Dawn after a few moments!

...And then things went to hell. Dawn was sinking in an artificial quicksand. That much was obvious. But Black was trying to get her out, which meant they needed to keep Titan busy! He could very easily take a step and turn them into pancakes! "Tepig, return! Vivian, show us what you've got! Use Vacuum Wave" White called out, returning Tepig and sending out a milk chocolate colored lopunny! The bunny pokemon struck an uncharacteristically confrontational pose, but one could just see her head sloooowly turning up to take in the full visage of her opponent. She cringed at the sight of the towering monstrosity she was being asked to fight. However, she did not back down or cower. For such an infamously cowardly prey species, that was one brave lopunny. Thrusting her arms forth and throwing several rhythmic punches into the air, an aura of power surrounded her body, breaking away with each punch and launching sharp shockwaves out into Titan!

"Now, give him an iron tail to his shin!" White ordered. Vivian hesitated for a moment, glancing back at the poofy little rabbit tail she had. She gave White a skeptical look. " . . . It's a rock type." White half-heartedly explained, rather flustered by Vivian's disobedience. Making due, Vivian bounced across the battlefield and thrust her hip into Titan's shin, her backside taking on a metalic sheen that leant it the strength it needed to crack rock!

Meanwhile though, Black was having a bit of a bad time. Dawn had sunk into the quick sand until she was completely burried! Now, being burried in the earth was a very bad way to be. The liquid dirt was much, much heavier than water, and would press down on Dawn's chest, making it all too suffocating. Black knew this, and she knew she couldn't wait a moment longer if she didn't want to risk losing Dawn--or worse, letting her down!! But what could she do? If she went in there, she'd just get stuck! She definitely couldn't ask Braviary to pull her out. The thing about a dense liquid like that was that it would pull back just as hard. And well... Braviary was a strong bird. She didn't even want to think of the horrors that would result. They were almost certainly lethal. " . . . White, help!!" Black called out after a moment of panicked thought, drawing her dear friend's attention. White tore her attention from Titan and ran to help Black.

A few long moments passed after Dawn went under. It was dark, and the pressure was unyielding. Moving at all was hard. Any moment now her strength would leave her and she'd be forced to breathe in the liquid dirt, the point past which she would have drowned. Yet, like an angel Black reached down from the heavens to pluck Dawn from her prison. Dawn could feel them grasp at her before slipping underneath her arms and wrapping around her back. She was then being pulled, slowly yet surely, into Black's tight embrace.

White was knee deep in the quicksand, hugging Black's waist to her chest so that she could lay atop the sand without quite sinking. It had given Black the few extra feet she needed to grab Dawn without getting trapped. Each step White took backward dragged the three of them further from the pit. they had to take things slow, but with White's physical fitness and Black's quick thinking, they were able to rescue Dawn from the pit. White stumbled when the resistance gave way, falling onto her back, and Black quickly squirreled Dawn into her arms, sitting Dawn in her lap at the edge of the pit and holding her protectively. But--... as far as Black could tell, Dawn was unresponsive. "...No! Dawn, please don't go!" Black softly urged, becoming quite upset at the sight. She gently jostled Dawn, trying to awaken her. Yet, a part of her understood what had happened, and it made her heart ache. Nearby, White sat back up and observed what was going on. Black was pretty clearly upset and freaking out--But wait, shouldn't Dawn have turned into a trophy if she actually drowned?

Actually that was a good question--

Not really considering this, Black promptly sprung into action to try and save her almost definitely okay dear friend. Her free hand raised to Dawn's chest and firmly pressed down, trying to get her to breathe. She did this several more times. "C'mon... You can't die. You still have to become the world champ! .......I don't want to be the champion without you. I wanna be with you~! You have to pull through. I... I need you." Black softly pleaded, still panicking. Finally, she stopped trying, and quite possibly failing, to perform chest compressions and drew Dawn closer. Without ever having checked to see if Dawn was breathing, she tenderly locked lips with the other. Watching this, White's eyes widened in alarm. Oh Black--No... She's not--A part of her wanted to stop Black, but another part of her just kinda wanted to stay out of this and let it work itself out, lest she get blamed for not hopping in sooner. She couldn't help but notice that although mouth to mouth was far from a romantic gesture, Black was certainly ... trying her best to make it one. From the way she possessively held Dawn in her lap to the way that little 'kiss' lingered longer than it should have, she could tell for the first time with clarity that there was nothing straight about Black. She'd always had strong suspicions, but now... she was confident. There was love in every move she made, and it traveled from her lips to Dawn's, passing through Dawn like a cool Breeze. It felt like magic, easing her aches and pains a little. Her lips spoke what she hadn't quite said out loud. It wasn't that she needed Dawn. There was another four letter word that belonged there. l-o-v-e

Titan's Turn

Vivian was succesful in getting Titan's attention with her powerful magical girl impression. So successful in fact, that Titan tried to bring down a giant foot on her instead of the helpless girls!

Slam! Vivian was sent flying across the battlefield by a powerful shockwave, flying clear out of the arena and ragdolling against the crag wall. Ouch! However, as she began to fall she quickly regained control of her faculties and grabed the wall, kicking off of it and lunging through the air back into the arena! A blue aura surrounded her body. Somehow, she seemed to stand stronger than ever in spite of her wounds.

The group was steadily bring Titan down, shards of his body falling away as damage accumulated and magnified. Yet, there was still plenty of him to go around. As the arena flooded, however... Columns of filthy toxic smoke rose from the edges of the arena where the water met lava, turning the water black and blotting out the sun as it rose to the surface, casting the arena into a dusk-light state of decreased vision. Thankfully, it was pretty hard to miss Titan even then. Though darkness fell over their world and their battlefield became smaller than ever, the water also weighed down heavily upon Titan. His incredibly heavy body was only heavier under the newfound depths of this well, and for once in a great, long time he felt a weight he could not withstand. It crushed him, wearing at his joints and making each movement painful.

Despite this great weight, he lunged high into the air again, coming down like a missile! It was another geocrush! And if you've been following along with this post so far, you'll know it only hit harder in the water.

(( Titan's Geocrush! Everyone must roll 12+ CON to avoid being stunned. If you succeed your roll, you only suffer a -2 penalty to your next dodge/resistance roll instead. ))

Somehow, Black was able to withstand the explosive force. Probably because she has something precious in her arms giving her some extra weight. White, Vivian and Braviary however were all floored by the explosive tremor. Braviary squawked in bewilderment and confusion. He was underwater. The natural order had been violated, and he hated every aspect of this liquid hellhole. Something had emerged in the middle of the arena, though. A large spire that glowed with a yellow light.

(( Everyone! You have 1 turn. THIS turn to deal 100% damage to Titan's heart, the spire that just appeared. If you don't, the consequences will be die...r. It uses Titan's damage resistance and doesn't dodge attacks, same as Titan. ))

...But you don't think Titan will just let you do that, do you? Titan, free of his heart and angrier than ever, raised his foot and began stomping on the ground repeatedly, sending rolling shockwaves racing out toward the entire group!

Waves of dirt were washed up by the shockwave, slamming into the group as they struggled not to get washed away. Thankfully, no one went over the edge this time. However, Titan did not let up. Rushing after Vivian, her attempted to squash her with a giant fist!

Vivian was crushed! Her body was nearly broken, but she struggled back to her feet, breathing heavily as she struggled to keep fighting. The aura around her body seemed stronger than ever, though.

Nearby, the earth rumbled around Moon! Rocky fingers burst from the ground, curling around her and forming an earthern prison from which she could not squeeze out of! there were small gaps through which she could see, but she was trapped. Titan began readying a giant boulder with which to crush her with.

((Titan's Rock Throw @ Moon; Moon must make an attack roll of 12+, as must someone from the outside, in order to free her from her prison before the rock hits. If the boulder hits, she will take 80% damage and her pokemon will lose an action next turn.))



"--Moon!" White blurted out, leaving Black's side to play heroine again. She rushed to Moon's rocky prison, peeking through the gaps to get sight of her. "Moon, you've got to get out of there it's about to throw a gigantic boulder on you." White urgently blurted out. "Hold on. I'm going to help you. I won't leave you here." she assured the other, beginning to dig through her bag through something to use. A weapon, something she could slide through the bars to give to Moon. She pulled out several items that didn't fit the bill before pulling out a water gun. ...Man, talk about useless. Under water, even? She stuffed it away and grabbed her cookpot. A sharp rise in hunger suddenly hit her. ...She stood there in bewilderment. "...I still don't know what this thing does, other than make me hungry." White mumbled in frustration.
