Greetings, citizens of Li! If you hadn't noticed, there has been a bit of wheel greasing behind the scenes on the staff side of things. For starters, I've taken up the mantle of site admin! With the loss of WolfEx some time ago, we went for a long time simply working with what was available to us. However, we've finally decided to bump things back up to a 3 admin setup. As part of this transition, we'll be recruiting new staff members during the month of February! Both Life Moderator and Lore Keeper positions will be up for grabs this time around, as I'd hate to leave Cool feeling alone over there. If you're interested in helping the site out and willing to take on any of the responsibilities listed under the respective positions, please let me know by filling out a form located at the bottom of this post! Before you do that though, feel free to review what each position entails to see if either, if any, appeal to you.

General Qualifications

- You must have been an active member of this forum for at least 3 weeks to be considered
- You must know our Forum Rules
- You should be familiar with our Basics & Building Your Character Pages; just to the point of knowing where to find stuff

Life Mod Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

- Participation in Staff Discussions
- Making sure rules aren't being broken
- Approving new characters and updates to existing characters.

- Running Site Plots
- Advertising
- Archiving threads and adding them to ION
- Judging in Sunshine Stadium

Q. How long have you been a Member? What characters do you play?

A - I've been a member since 2015 and I currently have a total of 12 characters. The characters in question are as follows:
Paula Polestar (Earthbound)
Ninjabread Man
Twintelle (ARMS)
Conker the Squirrel

Mitsuru Kirijo (Persona 3)

I also have two OC's by the name of Rosalyn Hollotus and Tomoko Obel. The former is from the Plants VS Zombies universe while the other came from a dimension similar to the Shin Megami Tensei universe. I'm also planning to app a Pokemon character sometime soon.

Q. Why do you want to join the staff? What parts of the position you're applying to appeal to you?

A - I would like to be a Life Mod since I feel like i'm responsible enough again to do a job like this, plus i'm already doing one of the things on the list (Being a judge in the Sunshine Stadium) and I used to do another thing on the list (Update the ION) those two are very easy and I would look forward to do other work on the Life Mod's list if I get accepted. Such as making sure no rules are broken and approving new characters.

Q. Do you understand SSB:LI's rules & know where to find all the reference material for Character Transformations, Dice Systems, Battle Rules, and other such rules and guidelines of the forum?

A - Yes, I know the location of everything since i've been on the site for awhile and had to use those threads to help me with characters, battles and missions.

Q. Do you know what our ION System is, how to read it, and where to find it?

A - Yes, I have updated the ION before when I was lore keeper and it's located on the banner by pressing the "Uploaded Data" button. I can also find it on the Portal of Origin's section of the site.

A - Yes, I have a discord account that you can easily get from me by sending me a PM on here. I will happily add you to a list, or I can even make a group chat if I get accepted or people are interested enough for one to be made, if there isn't one made already by the staff here.

A - I was previously a Lore Keeper here but I took a six months hiatus and eventually left my role as Lore Keeper due to personal reasons, but since there cleared up, I feel like i'm ready to become a member of staff again. My responsibility was to keep the ION updated and to make sure the timeline on LI made sense, however when the latter was gone my responsibility was just to update the ION.

A - A part of me wants to see if I'm cut out for this stuff, so I'm picking Lore Keeper to start out small. In particular, doing Mirage Portals
, running Classic Mode
and judging in Sunshine Stadium
appeal the most.

A - Yep! I'll admit to having to do a refresher at times, but I know where to look.

A - I want join the staff because I want to try it out, just to see if being a staff member appeals to me. I want to apply as a Lore Keeper, and the responsibilities of that job, like updating the ION, Running Classic Mode, and approving new characters appeal to me the most.

A - Yes to all questions. I need to look at the guides a few times, but I do know where everything is.

A - I've been a member since Jul 15, 2016 at 10:41am. (Jeez, been that long already?!) I've cycled through a couple of characters over the course of my time here, but the ones I play currently are:

A - To be honest, I love this site; and while I have been a bit finicky with it, I really want to give back to it. One thing I absolutely love above playing characters is making apps, so helping approve and guide the process of grading other people's character apps really appeals to me; plus I'm already a part-time referee for the Stadium, so that kinda makes me half a mod already! ^=^ I'm not saying I'd be excellent, and I'm not immune to messing up or having to refer back to others or posted rules, but I believe that I could do some real good in the Life Mod position while also alleviating the work load from the existing ones.

A - Yep! I've gotten a pretty fair understanding of the various mechanics and aspects of SSB:LI's various systems (in no small part due to being corrected numerous times on such). I may need to refer back to a section or specific post to refresh myself in specific guidelines; but 9 times out of 10 I know where to look and can accurately remember it for later.

A - Yup, yes, and yipperino! Don't use it much but I am aware of it and glance over it every so often.

A - I sure am. I'm on discord most of the time when I'm not on here or in the chat box; but I also have a less-used skype just in case as well as an email I'm pretty sure the staff has access to anyway. ^w^

A - While not an rp forum, per-say; I do have experience moderating a discord rp server with a player-base of over 20 as of last month. My duties included overseeing posts as well as dispensing warnings and penalties to those that chose to disregard our outlined rules; In addition to announcements, events, etc. I've actually recently been promoted to admin there (It's honestly a hollow title with barely any extra permissions) so I'd say I'm doing a pretty swell job; not to toot mah own horn!
