Oh, great. More trouble ahead, and they didn't even move deeper into the ship! Guess it was to be expected, considering this is Sonic's big project and god forbid someone tries to tear it down to the ground. Whatever the case, they were now face-to-projection against an unknown figure had a goal of...creating a world without emotions? "...That's actually pretty stupid." Rulue stated. How did Sonic select Absolution's crew? The Villain Box?

She'd delve into it more, hadn't Arle suddenly vanished from the group. How did that happen? That wasn't her Warp spell! After a brief panic, Rulue took a deep breath and focused, using the Smash Amalgamation to check where Arle could've gone. Cyrus said that emotions were a detriment, but he clearly hadn't seen this in action. To put it in other words, Rulue could sense out Arle and have a read on the other's feelings, which would help locate the other.

...In a stroke of luck, she finished juuuust in time to see the next batch of enemies, freshly served from 5 Pokéballs! "Great. Here come more."

"Gh...!" Rulue just barely managed to slip through the icy winds, but she got buffeted by it anyway before getting caught in harsh but...actually very normal winds. Depsite the situation she was in, the Fighting Queen had choice words to the team of animals. "...Come on, now. Is that it?" she questioned with a smirk.

Despite the winds crippling her movements, Rulue had a surprising amount of ease dodging the other offensive attacks. Probopass’s Rock Slide was far from its target, Weavile's speed wasn't enough to hit her, and Sludge was close, but no hit either. Rulue slightly tilted her neck left and right and yawned in boredom. "The last guy put up a better fight than you five combined." She commented. "Oh well. Not all can be winners." And then, focusing on the only Pokémon that dared go up close and personal against her, Rulue approached Weavile and unleashed her all-too-familiar storm of fists! "Tekken Seisai!"

Rulue's focus was on Weavile. That Pokémon was probably close to Sonic in terms of speed, so hey, might as well see how accurate she was with her attacks! To capitalize on the Tekken Seisai beforehand, she went on and...tired to deliver another punch to Weavile. This one, unlike the punch rain, was but one simple punch, but really, knowing who Rulue was, it was dangerous nonetheless.

"Don't think I forgot about you." Rulue vocalized, quickly turning to the Honchkrow. "Power Wave!" she chanted, firing a ki blast at the mob bird. She was making something clear: after she was done with Speedy the Imp, she was going after them next.

Back to the Weavile, the Fighting Queen began to think of something. If she could slow down that foe, she wouldn't have to worry about hitting the other that much. ...A smirk graced her face as she performed a familiar hand move...

Suddenly, a surge of lightning, bypassing all solid matter, came to strike down Weavile! But...wasn't Rulue a person that couldn't use magic ever? ...Well, she is, unless she channels Arle through her. Power of love really does make the impossible possible, huh!

As the pesky crow continued to peck at the flailing arm boy, a chant of sorts echoed through the air. The proclamation did little to deter the Honchkrow’s prospect of thieving, but perhaps he should have been a bit more mindful of Chaos Control’s effects. In that very instant, the bird froze in space, helpless to do anything as time itself fought against him, meaning that the horn’s flare blew the cretin back. He smacked against the furthest wall, crawing in pain as it pried itself off its surface. No sooner than it did, Rulue appeared, much quicker than it could react. She was a lot quicker than he remembered, or perhaps, he was far too slow for her!

Much like its mob-boss, Weavile was ready to scamper away from the battlefield so that it could scope out its next target for its flurry of swipes. The wave of chaos struck the imp before it could take another step. Struck with a sudden case of suspended animation, Weavile was left wide open, which did not go unnoticed.

The reality altering spell struck Probopass harshly as well, however, his eyes were primarily on his exposed ally since he didn’t have any aggressors to deal with. The creature spun its floating arms around its body until it disappeared, Weavile now occupying the space where it used to be and Probopass finding itself in the line of fire. He was still feeling the effects of the Chaos Control, so he couldn’t do much to counteract Rulue’s onslaught, at least for the first attack. As the next punch came barreling towards the rock creature’s body, it summoned its shield to absorb the damage from both that and the sudden thunderclap that emerged from who-knows-where.

Ally Switch: Probopass changes places with an ally, taking the attacks that would initially be for its ally, however, the ally will also take damage intended for Probopass. 2 turn cooldown.

Crobat smacked its lips together in a satisfied manner after it served up its bile so wonderfully. Before it could get far in retreating, much like the rest of his compatriots, he was stopped by Chaos Control. Profoundly betrayed by its own stupidity, Crobat did not manage to resist the effects of the slow spell. Lucky for him, he would not get flack from the rest of his teammates about it since nobody seemed to be quick witted enough to counteract the effects. As such, the typhoon of razor sharp liquid gobbled up the bat Pokemon and spat it back out in the same manner as he would with his trademark toxins. Crobat got his second wind though, thanks in part by his teetering tailwind, thus it was saved from a shock-filled fate.

A dip and a dodge away was not enough for the bat to be in the clear, in fact as soon as it stabilized itself, Crobat was smacked in the face by the blunt end of Amy’s mallet.

In the meantime, Houndoom stood in the middle of the battlefield, not really eyeing anyone as it seemed like it was going to pass by this round of combat unscathed. Being a good boy, he sat in wait for his next orders, however, it didn’t seem like they were coming anytime soon. In fact, everything seemed to be going by much slower. He couldn’t deduce why.

As Alex proclaimed his plan, an echo of footsteps arose from behind him. Should he turn about to look upon his stalker, he would see the very same villain from the commentary track, Cyrus, standing roughly ten feet away from him. His hands were neutrally pasted together as his steely gaze narrowed onto the boy. “You can’t possibly be so naïve as to think that you can merely hide anywhere on my ship. I know every nook and cranny” he added in a dull manner, reaching into his pocket.

The elite squad had been scattered and bruised along the battlefield, but Honchkrow fanned himself with his wings to bring back focus. They were all under the slow spell that the pink hedgehog enforced on them, but that didn’t mean they were down for the count yet. The bird began to crow commands once more, momentarily diverting his allies’ attention. The crow sprung back into the skies, ascending over Weavile who he dropped a Lum Berry for on his way over. The gangster bird also flung a Sitrus Berry Probopass’s way for good measure.

Supply Drop: Honchkrow can supply his allies with items he finds on the battlefield. Honchkrow begins battle with 3 Sitrus and 3 Lum Berries.

Feeling instant relief after gulping down his captain’s Lum Berry, Weavile jumped back onto his feet and rushed back into battle, running alongside Honchkrow. The two narrowed their vision onto Schezo, the boss bird not appreciating that horn to the beak and Weavile… he wasn’t a fan of his fashion choices, who knows. As such, it felt appropriate for Honchkrow to enact some form of Payback while Weavile swept the mage’s legs with his Iron Tail!

Payback: 15%. If Honchkrow was damaged by the target on this turn, this attack deals 22% damage instead.

The bird was quick to make his retreat, wanting to avoid another horn-based fiasco. Weavile leapt towards Honchkrow, snagging the Pokemon’s foot and hitching a ride until Crobat swooped by. The imp switched rides, riding on the back of the purple bat as it immediately gunned for Rulue, seeing as she was the premier fighter in terms of the damage she output against their tank. The bat engaged in an intense staring contest with the fighting queen, rhythmic waves emitting from his gaze that might cause her to collapse if she wasn’t careful. Adding insult to injury, Weavile leapt off his chauffer and swept her legs to make certain she would be properly laying down for naptime.

Meanwhile, Probopass and Houndoom began to regroup, taking note of Alex Kidd’s entrance. Their focus was making sure that the interlopers didn’t unite with the shell-core master. A beam of light energy erupted from Probopass’s mustache, aiming to strike the boy while he was distracted, and Houndoom howled a spell of darkness to double their chances.

With the boy taken care of, the duo turned about to face their main enemies, acting as a temporary replacement wall. Probopass ensured their position by launching another boulder forth, aiming directly at the weakened hedgehog. A mighty flame built up on Houndoom’s person, like a lighter burning all its fuel at once. Once it was properly charged up, Houndoom bellowed the blast at Amy, her fiery nightmare not being over just yet.

Crobat wasn’t quite done with Rulue just yet, as it swept at the woman once more with the sharp tips of its wings. Once that was accomplished, both Crobat and Weavile came back around to give Schezo a second dose of what they were offering. Crobat especially had another special brew to upchuck at the sword wielder, while Weavile came from behind and smashed him with an Ice Punch.

Sonic’s hands rose as he backed off from Arle as she was nearly steaming from her furious words. There was an ever-present smirk still slapped across his face as he shook his head nonchalantly. “Woah woah! Take a chill pill, lady!” he laughed as he began to wander back over to his throne. “As Leader, every single day has been devoted to finding and accounting for every lost soul on this planet. Anyone who has been living outside of the Life Sphere for this long is too dangerous to bring on board. I mean c’mon, they might not know they have some Starvia in them, but that stuff’s everywhere on Li. If we let anyone with the slightest hint of Starvia on board then that will just lead to another epidemic and make the whole point of the Absolution obsolete” Sonic continued as he approached a nearby wall.

“The Absolution was made with the finest materials on the planet, with our top engineers at the helm for design. We’ll do all we can to accommodate our passengers” he stated whilst knocking on the wall. He looked back at her and smiled, as though he was in an infomercial. “Besides, with our state of the art warp drive, we’ll be on board for a week, tops. The next galaxy over is a hop and a skip away.”

Sonic continued to shrug off Arle’s commentary, though at the mention of a cure to the Starvia, he rolled his eyes. “Oh please. You know what’ll happen when we cure the Starvia? Mother Brain will just cook up a new version. Maybe this time she’ll make her own version instead of taking someone else’s design. I mean, seriously, the Life Sphere is a glorified refugee camp, can you really trust the other leaders to get anything done? Look at what my team is doing” he added as he gestured to the area around them. “What has Mario done? He’s made an army of lambs to be slaughtered And Samus? Her biggest claim to fame is creating the Starvia in the first place! I mean, c’mon! People keep saying I’m the worse Leader, yet she can get away with that!? Your little strike team is being commissioned by her too!”

The hedgehog went straight faced for a moment as he realized something. “Oh wait, I guess you didn’t know that” he stated plainly. “Hey! Play that data log for me” he shouted as he looked to the ceiling.

That idea alone is extremely dangerous. But nobody could prove anything, could they? But on a whim, I was saved from certain banishment thanks to that creature. My blood was somehow immune to the disease. I could only speculate that it had to do with the combination of Chozo and Metroid DNA that made me resilient. I discussed with E Gadd further on the subject. He had found a small nest of Shadow Bugs during his travels on Li, something that we could inject my genetic coding into and have replicate throughout the body, making survival on this planet easier and fight off this plague.

As peach landed on the ground level, She would notice that, Samus was...Well, Nowehere to be seen. There was a thick smog, Blasts of guns and ammo filling the air, Blinding her momentarily as to where Samus was, Definately leaving her blinded for the next Five Minuites. That was, until...Well.

...Oof, Thats not good. Samus had a energy blade or two sticking out of her suit, not to mention countless bulletholes from GUN Robots that had spotted her as soon as she dropped and hit the ground, The Cloudy mist of manufacturing keeping her hidden for the most part, Until she managed to motion her bloody dreg of a body toward Peach, Coughing up a bit of Herself as she sighed.

"H-hey Peach...F-found you..." Samus said, Stumbling over, as Ghor's blast, a 4 story drop and assault by Sonics forced definitely made her less than stable. Samus, however, seemed to of won, as she was on some form of Last legs...

"W-wheres...Everyone else?" Samus asked Peach, as she looked around the hole of the absolution they were next to.

As a series of attacks set off to finish Amy off, she did something perhaps surprising. She moved. ...Anyone could've taken a good look at her and suggested that moving might be a bad idea, if not impossible. But she ran like she wasn't even injured--probably against the doctor's orders, too. She wasn't the biggest fans of most doctors she knew. What was perhaps even more surprising was where she was running. Amy was running directly into the oncoming attacks! The pink hedgehog leapt into the air and single-handedly leap-frogged the boulder being thrown at her, bouncing off of it and using the leverage she gained doing so to completely clear Houndoom's overheat attack! She landed pretty close to the duo attacking her.

" *Huff huff* Better run now~! *Huff* I think I've still got a beating in me somewhere~ "

Once Amy finished catching her breath and figuring out how she was going to do this, she curled into a ball and began spinning rather hard against the floor! Smoke poured out from where she was spinning moments before a fire broke out and she launched forward, leaving a trail of flames in her wake!

She then shot off straight at Probopass! If she was thinking straight and not jumping to conclusions, that pokemon was probably vulnerable after pulling off that fancy teleportation trick! She had to hit it before it could do that again! Rolling straight into Probopass, she crashed into the pokemon and let her quills rake against it as she continued her roll!

Amy then kicked off the ground and performed something of a rather fancy looking flip over Probopass using the momentum from her spin to wildly drive her piko piko hammer hard into the back of Probopass's head! Wow, even without the use of both of her arms she still managed to swing that thing around! Albeit, she looked quite a bit more clumsy doing it.

Princess Peach

"--Sammy!" Peach blurted out in abject alarm, rushing to the aid of the fallen bounty hunter and gently grasping her sides. Now, Peach might not have known much about technology, but she understood that throwing up blood was bad, and that it was a lot worse in a helmet where it had nowhere good to go. "Hold on..." she softly murmured, herh ands drifting up to that helmet and gently caressing Samus' chin, where she gingerly worked for a moment to remove it. She then leaned in delicately cleaned Samus' face with a hankerchief before using that hankerchief to hide something sweet. A pleasant tingling would rush through her body, focusing on everywhere she was hurt and numbing her pain. Without even feeling it, the blades had been removed from her body. Bullets dematerialized, and wounds closed themselves up. A gentle embrace gave way to a flurry of magical hearts that all but hid an innocent yet sublime kiss shared between two friends as all this went on, the magic of love spreading through Samus' body to give her the strength she needed to recover!

...Peach seemed to hesitate slightly to break that kiss--but only for a brief moment. She leaned back once she was finished, bashfully smiling up at the very slightly taller woman. She seemed a tad embarrassed about that show of passion "You took quite the fall... They're way back up top!" Peach very softly explained without releasing the other from this embrace. "I do believe they are most likely pressing onward without us." Peach continued on to lament. She hadn't seen anyone come down after her, which meant she'd been the only one to try and save Samus. She could only hope that it was because the others trusted her to handle it. She doubted her shriek of fright had gone unnoticed at the time. "If you would allow me to hold you for a moment longer, I believe I have just enough vibe magic to get us back onto the deck~" Peach quietly cooed, drifting a hand down to Samus' thighs and--oof! She tried to scoop Samus up but faltered. Mushrooms almighty, that armor was not light and she was not a heavy lifter. Hoo boy. Not wanting to make Samus any more self-conscious about her weight than she already had like a proper lady shouldn't, she quickly redoubled her efforts and, with some great effort, managed to lift Samus into her arms! Little tears formed in the corners of her eyes and her knees buckled slightly under the strain, but that wouldn't be an issue for long, Cuddling Samus close to her chest, she rose into the air as a twister of air gripped them both and lifted them into the air, pulling them both into weightlessness! Much better. Peach twirled about as if she were dancing as she rose, humming a pleasant little tune as they ascended back to the top of the deck, where a large explosion had likely cleared anything remaining out, leaving the deck scorched rather visibly. Peach quickly picked up on a relatively hole in the blast doors they'd been heading toward before they even landed, setting Samus back down onto her feet with an audible sigh of relief and a little giggle of embarrassment. She was not the strongest person in the mission. "Looks like they left a path for us to get inside. Will you be okay, Sammy?"

Arle carefully watched Sonic as he ... backed away from her. Huh? Something wasn't right about this. He wasn't attacking her, which meant her initial thoughts might be off-base. But then what was he up to? She wasn't sure she trusted Sonic's ability to get thid done. A day was still far too long for a magical construct to go without mana, let alone a week. And frankly, that comment about not wanting to bring the starvia on-board? It made her mad. He'd missed one of her key points entirely. That was when Sonic said something ... outrageous. "What??" Arle blurted out. That was unbelivable! There was no way  the Samus she knew would--

Oh god not again!

Arle's expression twisted with distaste as a record began playing back a meeting. She didn't want to listen to this. It hurt her in ways she wasn't prepared to deal with. One could see her deflate a bit at the realization that this... really didn't sound like some stupid lie someone made up. In fact it almost sounded like it could've believably come from Samus herself. Arle was silent until Sonic finished.

"...Every time I trust someone enough to let them lead me I get betrayed." Arle lamented. What was she even supposed to say to something like that? Well for starters, she shouldn't have been finding this out now from Sonic of all people. But also, that was a really important detail to leave out! How do you forget to tell people something like that when they were actively fighting to fix your mistake?? How could she forget to tell Arle that after the time they'd spent together? They were supposed to be friends!! Arle's heartache aside... "At least I already knew where I stood with Mario." Arle remarked rather dryly. Mario seemed like a pretty straightforward guy. Sonic wasn't telling her anything she didn't already know, even if she didn't agree with the way he was putting it. Surely Mario couldn't be doing more harm than good, even if she disagreed with where his attention was focused. Then again, she'd always thought the same of Samus. What even was this world anymore? ...Hey, that's a good question.

"...Kinda makes me wonder why I should place my trust in you." Arle pointedly remarked. "Didn't you realize some people wouldn't be able to accept the sacrifices you're asking them to make? You're talking about 'crazy Sammy' meanwhile you're asking us to go along with blowing up a planet! Don't you think that's kind of crazy..? Just a little?" Arle asked in frustration, unable to contain her contempt for the idea.


"Are all those people like me who can't just accept killing a bunch of people to solve their problems just another acceptable loss in this plan of yours?"

What transpired happened in a blink. The rush of battle made the sudden freeze of time seamless to him and while he didn't notice who did it, the Razor Typhoon letting the Crobat go lead him on. The bat flailed about in slo-mo, and it clicked to him that they're slown down as retribution for the winds of battle. Aye, while Schezo felt like tide of battle was turning, not all is in his favor. The Thunderstorm did not quite hit Crobat, and Honchkrow is coming in with backup in the form of berries. Oh dear, who should go down first now...? But now there's an angry mob crow about to get retribution!

...and as he was thrown off his feet, the Iron Tail sweep went totally unnoticed. Iron Tail? What Iron Tail? Well, it seems Weavile isn't done with Schezo just yet, zipping back with some help: Crobat. A noxious fluid was flung at Schezo, and it's as unpleasant as it looks. Comboing that was an Ice Punch, presumably to strike Schezo once the dark wizard gets crippled. He is having none of that.

Fire magic began to concentrate at his sword, volatile and ready to combust upon releasing it. A small, concentrated fireball shot at the Weavile, hoping Crobat would be caught by the massive explosion unleashed by the call of Schezo's word.

Now, wait just a second there. She didn't want to hit the moai-looking Pokémon! Rulue's eyes glimmered with newfound knowledge. Weavile seemed perhaps a little too important for the team. If they were ever to be taken down or crippled, the formation would be missing the main fighter! Of course, she had to take care of a few things first before she could think of trying to attack Weavile again...mainly a couple more Pokémon attacks.

"...Mm...I..." Rulue found herself unable to resist the flashing patterns and was lulled into a deep sleep...that didn't mean much, since Weavile woke her up with a leg sweep, though I suppose that was their intention, so props for that. As she woke up with a startle, Rulue was shot into high alert, Crobat's follow-up being unable to strike her. She growled. It was time for some retribution! Rulue for starters pulled out a massive sword flail...thing. On fire. She proceeded to perform a feint swing or two before attempting to whip Crobat with it! And it wasn't just a plain ol' whip motion either.

After this, Rulue stored the Solar Eruption and hopped, locking her sights on the bat while she charged up her left leg with ki. She gritted her teeth as she dive kicked again. "Rulue...Impact!!" she yelled, attempting to stick the foot up on the bat's face. Even if the main course missed, there was also an earthquake to deal with...or shockwaves, if the hull was just a bit too good for that.

It seemed the villain known as Cyrus wasn't just sitting in some distant room watching things, he'd made his way behind Alex. Claiming he knew the fighter was onboard, which had to be crap given his actual ninja training. Probably one of those macho things, so they didn't feel embarrassed about him appearing to help the group out. "Sure, let's see how you do without your pets" commented Alex with a smirk as he spun round and attempted a shellcore roundhouse aimed square at Cyrus' pointed head, the man seemed like the delegating type and not a fighter.

Hoping to not only put the man on his arse, but maybe even distract his Pokemon given that they're meant to protect their masters. Which in turn could help the group in the fight against the creatures and this whole crazy stuff. He knew he disliked Sonic but this whole thing was mental as anything and he wasn't even sure Eggman or other villains were this nasty. None of Alex's villains ever blew up a planet, kidnapping sure maybe some attempts at world domination but not blowing everyone to hell or whatever afterlife people subscribed too. He hoped he'd get to talk to Sonic before he kicked his face in, because this was something he couldn't allow given the fact he'd lost his own planet and no one else needed to go through that again. Not if he could help it, sure he wasn't an official member of this group but he was going to do what he could to stop the proverbial from hitting the fan, if possible.1d20

While it was still mid-battle and some of the combats seemed weathered, Probopass could sense that the next wave of attacks could potentially be deadly. To counteract this, the tiny rocks that surrounded the Pokemon’s bodice began to glow once more, though this time a spectral barrier illuminated not only in front of it, but all his allies as well.

Wide Guard: Summoning a shield around all its allies, Probopass improves the stability of their bubble shields, taking only half the damage of attacks when bubble shields are activated for 1 turn. 2 turn cooldown.

The agile bat made for a good getaway for the ice imp, even if Crobat was still crippled by the pink hedgehog’s twisting of time. Weavile had a good hearty laugh as he clung to the creature’s leg, but swiftly turned his head at the sudden heat he could feel arising behind him. Without a second to spare, Weavile ditched his partner just before the attack could blow up in his face and as he tumbled toward the mage that conjured the blast he activated his bubble shield to stave off any potential attacks in addition to reaping the benefits of Probopass’s Wide Guard.

As the bubble was inhaled back into Weavile’s bodice, a sinister sneer grew on the Pokemon’s face. Now that it was within range of Schezo, it was beginning to conjure a series of dastardly thoughts of the torture he could put the swordsman through. Before the beast could lay a claw onto the hero though, he was met with a flurry of swipes that even his speed couldn’t match, nor could he do anything in response.

Meanwhile, Probopass was quite proud of its defensive measure coming into effect so early. It seemed that one of the opponents wanted to capitalize against its kindness and tried to blindside it while it was setting itself up. Luckily one of the mini-heads intervened, flying in front of the hedgehog and activating its bubble shield. The whirling heads worked in tandem, blocking her next attack as well thanks to the strengthened shield. And for the last hit, Probopass miraculously rocked backwards just in time to miss out on the last hit. Just as it lurched forward to commence a counterattack, it stared confusingly at the area where Amy Rose used to be. Before it could question her whereabouts, he got his answer in the form of a slam to the back of his head.

Crobat was slightly confused by Weavile’s sudden retreat. Honchkrow didn’t relay any commands yet, what was that imp up to? As the slowed bat looked through the corner of its eye, it suddenly realized what it was so afraid of. At a moment’s notice, the creature activated its bubble shield to absorb the impact of the explosion, but was immediately knocked back by its immense force. It frazzled the bat beast so thoroughly that it essentially lined him up directly for Rulue’s attack.

By the looks of it, the duo were playing a good ol’ game of volley bat, as Crobat’s carcass flew to the other end of the room, crashing into the nearest wall. Saying that the bat was dazed was an understatement, it couldn’t stop its eyes from spinning, but it wasn’t down for the count just yet! Rulue attempted to deliver the knockout punch (or kick rather), but even its spinning eyes could detect something moving toward it. Crobat activated its handy-dandy shield once more and just managed to block the fighting queen’s foot from denting his face. The bat laughed, putting its horrendous underbite on display.

Honchkrow hid its face into its wing, ashamed at how poorly their plan was coming together! One of them was on the brink of death, how could they not take out at least one of them!? It was then that Honchkrow realized the pink hedgehog’s speed was her greatest asset, and a devilish scheme hatched into his head. With great haste, the mob bird flew over Probopass’s head, dropping another Sitrus Berry directly into the stone monster’s moustachioed mouth. It crowed its next series of orders and with a few satisfied munches, Probopass acknowledged. Its heads glowed once more, and its affects were quickly felt by everyone in the room, allies and enemies alike. Suddenly, everyone felt as though they were heavier than they thought.

With Honchkrow being down to one Sitrus Berry, he needed to restock himself on healing items. The crow’s eyes darted toward Schezo once more. The creature cawed a command at Weavile, who was already facing down the mage. The ice imp was still a bit staggered from the sword slices that he received, but the plan was sound and he was looking to return the favour. Weavile’s claw quickly flung toward Schezo, cracking him directly on the forehead to stun him momentarily. While he was distracted, Honchkrow snuck up behind Schezo and deftly stuffed his beak into his pockets.

Weavile wasn’t done with Schezo just yet, his stink eye for the man only growing more intense as his taste for his apparel worsened. With the gravity becoming more intense, the lithe swordsman would be much heavier than before, which meant he’d fall much harder. A quick sweep of his legs and Weavile rebounded onto the next fighter, sneaking up behind Amy Rose while Probopass unleashed a bundle of rocks over her head. Weavile wasn’t above playing the same trick twice, so he swept at Amy’s legs for good measure.

Just as Crobat was shaking off his daze and Houndoom continued to sit still like a good boy, there was a slight ring in their ear, curiosity of some hidden ear implants from their master. “Commence operation divide and conquer.” While those few words would be puzzling to most, both of the creature’s eyes investigated the battlefield, more specifically the one enemy that their allies negated to attack, Rulue. The hound dashed toward her while the bat swiftly followed behind.

A bark from the beast ignited a flame that travelled across the ground like a spark following a trail of gasoline, until it finally reached its target, releasing a tornado of flame and engulfing the area where Rulue stood. Crobat watched the scene steadily, ensure that he wouldn’t find himself within the trap for the enemy. Swashing through his cheeks was another special brew that Crobat had cooking for the dastardly broad that beat him senseless. With a mighty spit, some toxic gunk was absorbed into the ring of fire, giving the fighting queen a nasty surprise if she accidentally opened her mouth at any point.

Houndoom twitched his muzzle, ready to fire off another pot shot at Rulue, but got a bit of side-eye from Crobat. The look indicated that the creature wanted to finish the girl off, to which the dog respected and turned off to torment another of their enemies. In the meantime, Crobat cackled and began to follow and match the speeds at which the tornado was spinning, like it was fanning the flames. Toxic spears, like tiny quills of energy erupted from Crobat’s body, adding to the cycle of chaos. With another bellow, a different gross toxin was added to the storm.

As Alex Kidd lunged forward to kick Cyrus, the grinning image of the Team Galactic Admin faded away in a puff of black smoke, his body completely dematerialize. The man essentially kicked at the air and for him to approach the target at all meant that he was back in the room that he originally started in, separated from the group once more. An electrical net sprung from one of the storage containers immediately after the smog settled, grasping at the Shellcore master if his shock and awe from his previous failure faltered him too much.

“Good to see that your level of foolishness lives up to your name” a voice from somewhere in the room echoed. The black fog moved toward the door that lead to the room where the fight between Alex’s allies and Cyrus’s Pokemon was taking place. “Worry not” the voice answered as the fog warped the walls at the sides of the door, clamping the opening shut. “Once they are done with them, they’ll join us as well.”

Sonic looked rather disappointed, his eyelids half closed and two fingers pressed against his temple. Oh wait, maybe that wasn’t disappointment, maybe that was just boredom. As Arle finished talking, Sonic shook his head and sighed. “Oh sweet little Arl, I thought you were better than this” he lamented, very bizarrely mispronouncing her name.

Sonic paced to the center of the room once more and looked to the ceiling. “Cut, cut, cut!” he announced like an antsy director. “Cyrus, you’re gonna have to cut out that last bit, your crew only has four minutes to edit the footage we got so you can at least make it look like she tried to attack me! I poke and I prod, and nothing!” Sonic continued to command until his eye catches Arle again. He returns his vision to her once more, with a small smirk. “When doing a live broadcast, you always gotta set a delay, can’t have the Life Sphere thinking you’re rational people, I need some new recruits to clean up the mess you made. Samus’s reputation’s ruined, E Gadd’s trophified, Mario’s next, and the only other person with enough reputation to try to compete as Leader is right in front of me. The Absolution might not take flight today, but once I’m done with you, the entire Life Sphere will be at my disposal.” he bragged as he buffed his nails against his chest.

“The editors had it ready on standby. Operation contingency is go” the monotone voice of Cyrus relayed through the loudspeaker hidden away in the room.

A guttural chuckle emerged from the back of Sonic’s throat. He twitched his head from side to side to give them a couple of good cracks and then ruffled up the spines at the back of his head. “Gotta make it look like you roughened me up when I make my next public address. Won’t be believable otherwise” he shrugged and took a few steps back. His arm straightened out, as though he was reaching for a weapon. Luckily for him, one materialized in his hand, the Caliburn sword.

“Huh? Sonic! Where am -AHHHHH!” the sentient sword shouted as he was thrust across the room, flying through the air like a dart, Arle being the bullseye.

With the sudden pull of gravity threatening to ground Schezo, much of his movement was merely reduced to floundering around until Weavile and Honhkrow went in for a dual attack. No time to flail about, he needed to defend himself after he gave Crobat a nasty beatdown with his sword. All of that flailing, though, prompted him to pull out...a Teddy Bear? The super-heavy gravity made it hard to try and defend. His sword was threatening to simply fall out of his grip!

For just a fluffy toy, it's surprisingly shock-resistant. The False Swipe didn't do much, and all Honchkrow got was a face full of Teddy. Alas, with his wings struggling to keep him aloft, he suddenly came down, crashing on his two feet rather hard, metal footwear meeting metal ground. Ouch. He COULD'VE used the teddy to cushion it, but not even that would help; it's far too tiny to break a crash landing like that. The Teddy Bear fell squarely next to Schezo, the dark wizard struggling to shuffle his feet behind the bear to block the Low Sweep from triping him up. And having his face meet the metal plating. That would be bad.

He turned up to see that after his personal assault, they've refocused to attacking Rulue. She's the most resilient right now, as well as the muscle, so taking her down would be REALLY BAD. While Crobat is distracted, though, Schezo readied his magic to try and finish it off. He still has some fight in him, drawing out his Razorblade Typhoon tome to try and cut Crobat with the power of a maelstrom. His magic is having a bit of a burnout right now, but gravity is not on his side, sadly. Not much options.

Wait...there's the matter of those berries... He COULD try and stunt the healing process, to ensure Crobat isn't going to get a second wind hahahaha and come out on top. Holding out his sword like he would a crossbow, an arrow that shined like a diamond materialized on the flat of the blade. It's been a while since he used this spell, so Schezo better make his aim true. He took aim at Crobat, and fired!

Samus grunted a little as her helmet was removed, her blood soaked face was quite a sorry sight to look at, as Samus's eyes could barely stay open, just a little glittering glimpse of blue iris's as her bloody helmet was set aside. The Handkerchief made the Bounty Hunter wince a little, blood cleaned up until...A Kiss befell Samus, right onto her lips. Her eyes suddenly fluttered awake, as she felt her body, wartorn as it might be, was gradually getting better in all sudden moments...Tendons were stitched back together, Scars closing and vanishing to reveal her normal skin tone, blood vanishing...

Samus's eyes closed, taking a moment to genuinely appreciate the kiss, Until it was broken off by Peach's own decision, as Samus took a quick breath in realization that she was Saved...She was Okay. And it was all thanks to her. "A-ah..." Samus seemed at a loss for words, Yet, seeing peach's smile made samus's own lips curl upward, feeling happier. "H-huh...Yeah, Guess i did. G-guess the ship seemed alot smaller when we were up top, huh?" Samus asked, Her voice returning to normal. Though Samus was rather unkeen on trying to get through the ship the old fashioned way, The offer peach made to help get her up to the top level again was quite appealing to her. Though, The issue of Samus's power armor was no doubt trying Peach's strength a bit. "Y-you know, i can just change to my zero suit to make it easier, and change back when were up top!" Samus offered, But, Surprisingly, They were already flying through the air!!

Samus quickly realized that changing to her lighter alternative would be dangerous by now, so, she simply wrapped her arms around peach's shoulders, Clutching for dear life for a bit as they rose up to the deck of the ship once more, as Samus sighed at this moment of respite...And, Just like a Dream, the two landed before a giant hole in the Ship, Where the fight lay forward. Samus quickly hopped off of peach's arms, Her helmet now resting at her hip as she looked forward. The audible relief peach provided upon setting the Suited Hunter down didn't bug Samus too much. Really, Mannerisms didn't hit Samus too awful hard.

"Yeah, Ill be fine...B-but, uhm...Maybe we should-- Later on i mean...W-we should try that again..." Samus said, looking down. "T-the...The uh...The thing, we did there...T-the kissing...Id like to do that again, W-when we arnt fighting a war...I-is that okay to say??" Samus asked, Clearly unaware on how to talk to pretty girls. Samus was a bright red in the cheeks, Until suddenly she gulped and just reached for her helmet, putting it on again. "I-if you wanted, i mean, I-i was just saying i-it was kind of a bad time for it w-with this-- A-actually, N-nevermind, Sorry!!" Samus quickly said, Moving forward to join the fight! Poor Awkward Bird.

Hearing the sounds of fighting heading forward, Samus narrowed her eyes and ran closer to the battle with Cyrus, Her Arm Cannon set to Charging. As Cute as the moment a few seconds ago was, It couldn't distract her much...She had to get back into Fighting Mode!

"Schezo, Covering Fire!" Samus immediately aimed her Cannon for Schezo's Opponent, the Crobat, And Firing off her Omega Cannon to provide sudden support to him, Eyes narrowed. "Im back, Sorry for the wait!" She claimed audibly, Locking her Cannon back!

The gravity somehow wound up helping her find her balance if anything. "The pressure is great, but we're greater! Focus your attacks and soon enough we won't be outnumbered!" Amy remarked, ignoring the fact that she was quickly dying where she stood. She caught sight of boulders coming down from the heavens to finish her off!

Poomf! She took off running without hesitation, rushing forward without a clear aim in mind, she abruptly caught sight of Weavile attempting to sneak up behind her! Boing! She bounced over the low sweep, casting a daring look over her shoulder. "Nu-uh! Not this time, mister." she lectured, drawing her hammer back and slamming it into the ground in Weavile's path. She then hung on for dear life, the handle of the hammer bending comically bending as all her momentum went into it. ...And then it sprung back, launching Amy straight over Weavile's head and straight past it. It seemed she planned to take her own advice! Landing nearby, she promptly curled into a ball and began building up an immense amount of speed, to the point that friction caused the ground beneath her to burst into flames!

A new hammer formed in her arms in a poof of magical hearts and she promptly sent herself into a spin, twirling it around rapidly as she soared wildly toward ... crobat!

Arle has the guts!

Arle went slack-jawed at Sonic's speech. Somehow, following Samus' advice had saved her from falling into a trap! And yet, it hadn't mattered. Sonic was announcing his plans to edit the video and make her look bad. It made her wonder if she could trust what he'd said about Samus. But if she couldn't trust what she saw and heard, what could she trust? Arle swallowed anxiously. This was a delphic hell where even the exit was obscured from sight. He had also announced ...a plan to kill her?! It seemed like a fight was rapidly approaching. Arle readied herself as Sonic reached for ... what exactly? Oh that was a sword. She backed away, readying herself for his approach.

However, she was taken entirely off guard when Sonic instead threw the sword at her rather than approaching her! Arle sharply yelped as the sword embedded itself deep in her gut, her blood running down its blade. Her eyes teared up and she doubled over very slightly, casting her gaze down at the talking sword. "...O-Ow..." Arle murmured. "...Hello, Mr. Sword. I'm sorry we had to meet like this." Arle wheezed out, reaching out to grab the hilt of Caliburn. She took a deep breath, steeling her nerves before brutally pulling the blade from her abdomen. Her blouse was immediately drenched in blood in the process. Caliburn could feel her body tremble with agony. Yet, Arle was a lot tougher than she looked. She managed to remain standing, casting a golden-eyed glare at Sonic as she shifted Caliburn into a ready position. "Healing!" Arle incanted, quickly moving to seal up her wounds before they killed her.

And perhaps, shockingly, it worked! Just like that, Arle had healed away most of the damage she'd received. She now stood strong again, carefully shifting into a ready stance Schezo had taught her and bringing Caliburn to bear at Sonic. "I'm still learning how to wield a sword, so I'm sorry if I make mistakes... I'm much better with magic, though." Arle explained, never removing her gaze from Sonic. "If I don't stop Sonic here and now though, a lot of innocent people are going to die. Is it okay if I hold onto you for now?" she asked, freeing one hand to deal with the whole Sonic thing.

((Arle is keeping Caliburn! ...Or at least, she's trying to anyway. She might need his help if she were to actually use him.))

"Thunder!" Arle incanted, calling down lightning from the heavens to smite Sonic where he stood! It reacted explosively where it struck, a loud crack reverberating through the ship as the powerful attack dissipated just as quickly as it had arrived

"Now, Stardust Dragon! Attack!" Arle immediately followed up, using the explosive burst of lightning to try and force Sonic to commit to a movement that would leave him wide open. The spectral dragon burst forth through the wall, phasing through it like a ghost before beelining straight for Sonic at high speeds! It attempted to deliver onto him a magical bite of great power, likely passing through him as it did so and going flying across the room once it passed.

The dragon then circled around, stalking Sonic for another chance to strike! Arle smiled at Sonic. For the first time since joining this mission, she felt confident and in her groove. "Want more~?" Arle taunted. Though she'd remained mostly still, she didn't plan to stay that way for any longer. It was almost certainly a bad idea not to be ready to move in a match against Sonic.

"Huh, so you still stand." Rulue grimaced, glancing at the Crobat, who's...gone through a bit of a change after the previous assault. She tried her best to stifle a giggle. "Well, you look slightly more threatening now, if you want some consolation~" she joked, before noticing the mutt from the depths of Puyo Hell tagging along with the bat and firing some weird looking flames. Now, this looked like something she could dodge...

...if the whole place suddenly didn't get heavy.

She got hit by the flames, and seemingly got stuck on the vortex created soon after... "Heheh...Ohohoho!" Rulue laughed. "Oh, I see your cheap tactics." She didn't seem to be affected by the vortex...oh. Oh. "Trying to force me to take your hits, eh? Well...try me, then." she challenged, gesturing the bat to bring it. And they did, trying to assault Rulue with poison and all that other nasty stuff.

'I won't be able to dodge these all...but I can do something else!'  And Rulue shields the barrage! She saw all of Golbat's attacks fail to penetrate her defenses, which were admittedly tougher than she last noticed. 'Must be a side effect of the increased gravity. I become slower, but much sturdier!' "What's wrong?!" Rulue smirked at Crobat. "You got a bone to pick with me? Sorry, but I think your vengeance isn't going to happen." Aaand she's trying to pummel the bat down in a flurry of punches.

After this, Rulue closed took deep breaths. "I believe I might have underestimated you and your peers." Her body suddenly got enveloped in two different auras. One was aqua green. The other was a bright crimson. "This is getting mighty interesting!" She comments, opening her eyes and letting a somewhat manic smile grace her face. She was really getting invested in this fight!

Crobat circled around once his assault was over, looking quite satisfied with itself. Just as it was regrouping with its Houndoom ally, the canine covered its face with its paws, seeing the backlash that Crobat was leading. As it uncovered its eyes though, it was relieved to see that all the enemies attacks were targeting its purple ally and not him.

The Crobat sensed a disturbance, glancing behind itself to see the storm approaching it. Despite the intense gravity working like a ball and chain and the hedgehog’s attempt at making him wait a minute, Crobat was one of the nimblest Pokemon around. Performing an aileron roll, Crobat steered clear of the typhoon, but in the process got his wing clipped by a different sharp object. The bat suddenly felt woozy, that arrow must have had something laced in it.

The creature couldn’t keep flight for much longer, dropping out of the sky conveniently in time to avoid Samus’s big entrance laser. As the creature lied on the ground, it huffed rapidly until a silhouette appeared over his body, one with a big mashing hammer. Its eyes grew as big as saucers and activated its Bubble Shield, though it could only take so much before the pressure of the hammer caused it to explode and shatter. The flame and fury from the weapon lit Crobat ablaze.

The sudden sensation of being on fire left Crobat out in the open for the hedgehog to dig her burning quills deeper into the Pokemon’s face. But as she went for another, Crobat miraculously summoned enough strength to bounce his limp body off the ground, performing a swift series of stylish backflips that prevented the hedgehog from hitting him, all the while he held a smug stare at her, like he was taunting her for not being able to hit such a vulnerable target.

While he was busy taunting the pink one though, Crobat completely missed his other opponent. Suddenly, Crobat’s everything hurt, a series of fists pummeling him to the very last inch of his life and pushing the quills deeper into his flesh. As Rulue delivered the final blow, the villainous vermin shot skyward, punching a hole clean through the roof of the ship and disappearing into the skyline.

The rest of Crobat’s allies were just watching the fate of their partner unfold, Probopass taking his hat off and holding it close to whatever chest he had out of respect.

A buzzing from their ear implants refrained them from mourning for much longer, which meant that the lot of them got a much better look at the newcomer to the battlefield. The astray Leader herself graced the battlefield, Samus. A proper welcome was in order! Honchkrow’s eye narrowed onto the foe, and once he identified her, the bird squawked loudly, enough for the rest of his team to hear.

Probopass conjured a boulder, Weavile leapt atop it, and then he blasted the rock headlong at the new combatant. Just before it collided with Samus, Weavile hopped off, jumping overhead and releasing an avalanche of icicles over the Leader’s head. Houndoom hurried from behind the bounty hunter and bellowed a torrent of flame to box her in. Apparently, they were blind though, as the only way that Samus would manage to get hit was if she forgot how to walk.

While his band of misfits blindly attacked the space next to Samus, Honchkrow turned his attention to the other end of the room, flapping his wings rapidly until a freezing gust of wind was unleashed and set upon Rulue and Amy.

The trio that were on the assault for Samus were quickly on the move once more, Weavile riding the Houndoom as he scampered his way back to Rulue. Weavile sprung off the dog’s back, sliding across the ground and through Honchkrow’s deadly wind until he finally reached the fighting queen, sweeping at her legs and ensuring the Gravity made her fall all the harder. The Houndoom skidded to a halt, just before coming face to face with the heated hedgehog. He gnashed his teeth and refrained from chasing her like he wanted to. Instead, he began to gag, like a dog that swallowed a bone, until a big ball of flame exited his mouth.

The little ice imp wasn’t quite done yet though, he glared at the rather passive Probopass and then back to Schezo. There was something about his fashion sense that Weavile despised to no end, he couldn’t quite put his claw on it. Either way, the floating paper weight released a streaming beam of light from beneath its mustache while Weavile snuck up behind the swordsman and lashed his steely tail against his back, pushing him towards the beam of death.

The mob bird perched upon Probopass’s head, continuing to scope out the battlefield, quite annoyed at both the hedgehog’s survival and Houndoom’s fumbling of his fire balls. The crow scoffed at his ally lying on the ground like he had finished chasing the mailman, he wasted all his energy on an attack that he couldn’t hope to land! No matter, Honchkrow pointed to the hedgehog and Probopass released another beam of light to snuff her out. In the meantime, Honchkrow continued to flap its wings, though this time it released a dense fog around the battlefield, one that felt rejuvenating, yet also limiting.

The fog sparked a new flame from within Houndoom, bringing him back onto his four paws. A new command came through his ear implant, Weavile tossing the canine a similar device to what he used on Arle a few minutes earlier. With a sinister glare, the dog looked at Schezo with the device in its mouth and began to charge like a Tauros!

Caliburn still looked quite fearful despite Arle’s greeting. He was rather bug-eyed, trying to deduce where he was and why he was there. Well, the why was clear from the bloodshed, but the question of why him of all things was still pertinent. “Apologies fair maiden! This was not of my doing!” he announced, trying to clear his name. “I believe I don’t have much control over this situation! I sense a strong evil though! One that-”

Sonic looked quite amused by Arle’s resourcefulness and shook his head. “Oh no! How could I be so foolish, I gave you the very weapon that could destroy me!” he stated with all the hammyness of terrible actor. With a snap of his fingers, the sword poofed into black smoke. “Enough of that though” he stated with a throw of his hand. As he stood there though, Sonic felt an odd rumbling from above and as Arle shouted her attack’s name, Sonic grew a smirk. “What? You’re going to attack me with a loud noise?” he shrugged. His eyes glossed over as he saw the lightning bolt approach. With his unmatched speed, Sonic zipped out of the way in the nick of time!

“Okay, that was a ligthn-“ he attempted to correct as he paused for a moment. Unfortunately, that was all Arle and her ethereal dragon needed. For the moment, Sonic’s two eyes combined into one. The spiritual dragon consumed Sonic, bashing him against the nearest wall, making a perfect indent of his body against its metal surface.

The blue blur’s fur was still sizzling a bit, but he managed to pull himself out of his Sonic shaped indentation, dropping to his knees. His hands were making a couple of precise movements, but his body was shivering like he was readying himself to submit. As he did though, the ground underneath him began to shift upwards until it revealed a small computer with a lightning bolt symbol on its screen. His spikes dug into it and caused it to pop like a bubble. A reverberating bwong echoed throughout the room as an electrified bubble formed around Sonic’s bodice.

Thunder Shield reduces damage from electric and light-based attacks by x0.5, however, attacks that use metallic objects will gain +2 to accuracy and destroy it. It also allows Sonic to increase the accuracy of one of his jumping based moves by +2 per turn.

“C’mon!” he spoke confidently as his false shivers disappeared. “You gotta rough me up better than that! The crowd will barely believe this!” he responded smugly. “I thought you were supposed to be stronger than this” he added with a shrug.

With his hamster ball-like powerup, its forward momentum made Sonic rush forward, headlong towards Arle. As he got near though, the hedgehog leapt into the air, kicking forward with a flip. Sonic unleashed a wave of energy from his foot, like a sonic boom. The force of it was even enough to push him back, making Sonic drift backwards away from Arle.

The distance was good though. “I mean, c’mon, you know it, I know it. You’re not going to beat me, there’s no way! What’s the use in trying?” Sonic asked as he wound back, an orange squid-thing arising from behind him and fusing with him. A voice from the ether shouted “ROCKET!” as Sonic’s body morphed into a giant orange rocket and blasted towards Arle. Without another target to crash into though, Sonic barreled toward the nearest wall before that form of him exploded.

Orange Rocket: Taking the form of an Orange Rocket, Sonic barrels forward at breakneck speeds. Sonic can target opponents in two different manners, ramming them or exploding them. While ramming, Sonic can deal 20% damage to all that he passes by, however, if they manage to fail their dodge roll by less than half of Sonic’s initial roll, they will be spearheaded onto the rocket until it crashes into another target and explodes for 45% damage. 2 turn cooldown.

Peach and Amy

Amy breathed a heavy sigh of relief as she watched Cyrus' crobat go flying through the roof. Her hammer slipped out of her hands, emitting a little squeak as it hit the ground, and she collapsed onto one knee as she struggled to catch her breath. Phew. She managed to KO one of them before her inevitable demise. She had a lot of regrets. Mostly that she was going to perish trying to get Sonic's attention, which was all sorts of wrong. How could Sonic of all people let this happen to her? It felt... wrong. When push came to shove, Sonic was a hero--right? How hard would it have been for him to zip by and pick her up?

...Her gaze snapped up as the sound of flapping wings caught her ears. Welp. It was time to move or die. A familiar rush shot through her as she forced herself stop resting. As much as her body wanted to take it easy, she just couldn't right now! Abandoning her hammer entirely, Amy dashed away with newfound ease, rushing around the room only to be confronted with Houndoom. Amy skidded to a stop and squealed in fright, cringing at the sight of those snapping jaws in such a way that she brandished her quills at the monster defensively. "D-Don't eat me!" Amy fearfully blurted out. She was a small girl, and felt like it would've been far too easy for that dog pokemon to bully her if she hadn't had those handy dandy nature-given predator deterrants all over her head. Thankfully, the dog pokemon seemed to hesitate for whatever reason. This gave Amy just enough time to regain her composure before she became aware of a terrible hacking noise. Amy recoiled several times at the sound. "...Ew! Don't do that either." she blurted out, getting the hint to flee even before the flames finally appeared. She didn't care what was coming out of that mouth she wanted away from it!

And so Amy germaphobed away. One last hurdle. A blast of focused light energy was heading toward her. She forced herself to run faster, just narrowly missing her by a hair--or a quill.

...And then Amy staggered out of control, losing her balance and falling into a spin that sent her rolling right into Peach's legs, vanishing beneath her large dress. "--Oof!" Peach blurted out, taking a deep breath to contain her first instinct which was to get upset at the blow. She then stepped back so that her dress no longer covered Amy's body, revealing the dazed hedgehog sitting at her feet. She then picked the battered and fading Hedgehog, cradling her supportively. "...There you are. Amy, you had us worried sick!" Peach gently scolded. Amy gently got comfortable in Peach's arms. She felt sick after pushing herself like that and was in no mood to show off her independence at Death's door. "I'm sorry, Princess. I was just following my heart! I thought maybe if I were faithful and sup--" Amy began, only for Peach to hush her with a finger to her mouth. "...You need a better role model. Someone who enjoys your company and affections, instead of running away from them." Peach softly yet sternly replied after a moment's hesitation. "B-But... Wh-Who...? Sonic...--" Amy began to stammer out in protest. She looked like she was going to cry. Though she had spoken softly and with care, Peach's words had hurt quite a bit. Peach once interrupted Amy, uncharacteristically rude for the Princess yet appropriate given the need for some motherly authority. "...I'm certain that if you begin paying more attention to the world around you and those that care about you, you will find the one you seek given time. Speaking of time, there comes a time when you have to stop chasing boys and let them come to you." Peach quickly lectured. She then pressed the Team Healer she'd been holding into Amy, healing her and alleviating some of her wounds! "...Unfortunately, that time has not quite yet arrived. I do believe we have friends in need of saving!" Peach explained, her voice filling with conviction as she set a flustered Amy down and gently pat her head. Amy felt a strange fluttering in her heart that she couldn't quite identify. Peach had inspired her heart without the use of any magic! She was impressed to say the least. Perhaps... the princess could be her anchor? For now.

"...Right! Arle needs us!" Amy replied, pumping her fists rather enthusiastically. She felt a renewed strength and passion. It was time to get back in the fight! "Oh. Amy!!" Peach called out, grabbing her attention one last time. "--Yeah?" Amy replied. Peach bent over and placed a little kiss on her forehead. This sent a surge of love magic through her which gave her yet another boost of strength. It also stole her breath away briefly. "...Go kick some butt~" Peach encouraged.

Amy blinked. Somehow it was weird hearing Peach speak so bluntly, with even a tiny hint of crudeness. It brought a smile of amusement to her face. Nodding in understanding, she turned tail, pun intended, and ran out toward Probopass and Honchkrow! "You've been looking down at me for long enough!" Amy remarked, bouncing into the air and attempting to land right on Probopass' face! She would then move to run up his face, stepping all over his face and eyes in the process, before running right up the top of his head and attempting to flipkick Honchkrow right in the beak on her way up before gravity sent her rolling back down!

...Should you really be doing stuff like that in such a short dress, Amy? Ah well. The only person who cared less than Amy right now was probably those pokemon. Amy landed nearby, promptly summoning a new piko piko hammer in a flurry of hearts. She then promptly whipped the oddly heavy squeaky toy hammer at the probopass with a yelp!

She then promptly followed up by rushing Probopass and attempting to punch that monster in the FACE! ...She quickly followed this up with a roundhouse kick. If Rulue were even paying attention to the tiny fighter, she might pick up on some martial arts training there. It was something Amy had picked up for exercising purposes while trying to better herself for Sonic.

"...Huh~! This guy can't move so good! I think he's being crippled by their own attack!" Amy observed, relaying this information to her teammates. The idea was hopefully clear. Focus. That. Probopass.

Arle grimaced in disappointment as Caliburn vanished from her hands. His last words before vanishing hung around in her mind, somehow outlasting Sonic's sass. "...Yeah. I know. I'm staring at it." Arle flatly remarked, staring coldly at Sonic. Before she could really retort to anything Sonic had said though, she was forced to contend with his attacks!

Arle threw herself aside, narrowly dodging the sonic boom Sonic created. She could feel it tug on her clothes as it passed by her. Geez.. Why did she get the feeling she just got lucky? Once again though, the pressure was on. It was hard to describe what she'd just seen, but thankfully Arle didn't need to describe it. She just needed to get out of the way!

...But she got smacked by the rocket, blowing her backward and sending her skidding along the floor. Thankfully, she wasn't hit directly enough to get caught in the actual explosion. Arle gingerly picked herself back up and brushed herself off, casting a golden eyed glare over her shoulder. "Y'know, I've wanted to beat some sense into you since day one. But everyone around me said no! Don't go beat up the obviously evil crazy person trying to blow up our planet. We just have to work hard enough that his plan never comes into action! We just have to 'reason' with you. Just talk it out! Even on our way here, Samus asked me to let her talk to you instead." Arle began to rant with a note of venom in her tone, abruptly cutting herself off and taking a moment to analyze the situation. "...But ever since that first day when I heard what you planned to do to this planet, I knew it was going to come down to this. Because I knew you! ...Or at least, I thought I did. ...Turns out I was right all along." Arle announced, producing a magic rod from amidst her person and raising it into the air.

A blast of arctic wind and ice shot forth from the rod, creating a blinding blizzard in the room that iced every surface, casting a thick layer of snow upon the ground. A terrible, biting frigidness taking over the area. It hurt just to have one's skin exposed to temperatures like this.

(( Arle uses her rod of seasons to bring about an abrupt winter blizzard! For five turns, ice and cold based attacks do 1.5x damage and fire attacks do 0.5x damage. Additionally, it is impossible to fall asleep in cold this bitter. ))

As the blizzard cleared, leaving only a winter wonderland in its wake, Arle released a breath she'd been holding. It condensed as a cloud in front of her. Yeah, that seemed about right. "...So now we're going to do this my way. Hope you didn't count on me holding back~! Diacute!!" Arle remarked and incanted, summoning a third magical orb around herself!

Arle then began to levitate into the air, gripped by the force of a powerful incantation. The entire ship would begin to shake violently with the force of her magic, to the point that it could likely be felt by the other group upstairs. A sheeath of ice embraced Arle's arms as she shouted with vindication in her voice.

"I-I-I-ICE STORM!!"

The sickly sound of crunching and tearing metal could be heard as an enormous shard of ice tore through the floor of the absolution, leaving a gaping whale sized hole in the ship. Arle rotated the giant glacial shard around to face Sonic, revealing a terrible jagged point to it. She'd done this not out of a desire to kill Sonic--such a heavy ice boulder could do that simply by falling on him--but rather to ensure that it would tear the absolution apart even if it failed at its primary purpose. With all her strength, she then thrust the kinetic ice missile at Sonic in a terrifying display of power. She had given it her all.

Schezo could barely react to the covering shot Samus fired, barely grazing his
cape as he tried to avoid getting into the line of fire. Too close for comfort, and yet the shot missed its target...to lead into a smash of the hammer and a punch.

And down (or is it up?) the bat goes! Aye, in spite of knocking it out, there was little time to celebrate as that was just one of the five enemies tasked to take down. The tides have been shifted with Samus' explosive entrance (well, a beam that huge isn't subtle), and the dark wizard felt his magic come back to its full strength. The afterburn has passed, and now he's back to fighting to his full force in spite of the hindrances. Who should he target next...

"!?!?"

Well, the other beam of light from Flash Cannon is a clue! Perpetrator of Gravity fires beam at Schezo, only for the Teddy Bear to continue blocking the attack, followed by the Iron Tail getting cushioned off. One would THINK it'd tear to shreds by now. With Amy calling out the team to focus on Probopass, that's definitely a good idea. He turned his attention to the big nosed rock, readying his magic.

"Got it!"

...then the battle field filled with a hazy fog.

He pulled his cape up to block the effects, but he was a tad slow trying...yet taking the Haze is actually helping him!? His body got lighter, and he smirked. Honchkrow shouldn't have done that! Sure, the more stout defenses was nice, but he preferred having his feet back. He planned on taking out his Ninja scroll to counteract the effects, but now he doesn't have to. With magic ready, he started his assault on Probopass!
