((Sorry for the delay everyone! The need for some extra time arose, but the time for that has passed. I will be attempting to resume the normal 2 week post order. Psychobabble will be considered to have exited the mission, regardless of some IC complications. ||D))

Arle looked a bit flustered for her trouble. She knew all too well that no didn't mean a thing to that man, but thankfully punching seemed to ... Well she wouldn't say it properly corrected him, but it certainly ... Hm. It really just prolonged the inevitable, didn't it? If she had more edge in her heart this would be the part where she killed Choppun, but instead she just kinda stood there hovering over him, ready to helplessly attempt to beat sense into him some more if he got back up and invaded her personal space again. What she wasn't expecting, though, was for Lemreas to come over and attempt to comfort her. "Y-Yeah, I'm alright. I think I got a little cooked back there, but I'll be okay." Arle softly relented, glancing herself over. Her radiant gold armor reminded her of her time with Viridi. Those were still memories that hurt her in hindsight, but with Warle's advice, she'd been able to overcome and take this form on her own. What else was she capable of that she didn't even realize yet? Stepping to awkwardly move around Lemres so that there was some more distance between herself and the pervert slowly regaining his senses, she continued. "I just... don't want that pervert touching me." she awkwardly added, not doing much to hide her fears over what would happen if she hadn't slugged Choppun right then. Averting her eyes in mild disgust and focusing directly on Lemres, she skipped to the next topic. "...She doesn't think we can do it." Arle explained rather thoughtfully. "She's trying her best to protect us, but she doesn't believe we're strong enough." Arle went on to lament. It seemed there was a disagreement in opinion between the two Arles, though Arle couldn't find it in herself to be mad. She could say a lot of things about her red counterpart, but coming here with the exepctation that they wouldn't be able to make it out was certainly brave--even if she disagreed.

"But that's nonsense~! I've been here before. It'll be tough, but I think we have a real chance!" Arle replied, dismissing those fears and putting on a smile. She seemed to have regained her composure. "Speaking of which, I think that's it! We just have to go find the inner sanctum now." Arle replied, only to glance around and realize she was now alone with Choppun, Galacta Knight and Lemres. " . . . Let's get going. Hopefully they'll catch up before we get there." Arle awkwardly lamented. "C'mon!" Arle added rather eagerly, flashing a smile back at Galacta Knight and Lemres as she bounced forward with a flutter of her wings to lead the way.

Arle leads the way deeper into the azure sanctuary. Sprawling out before the group is a beautiful blue labyrinth, really true to its namesake. Everything is shrouded in a thick, consistent blue color as if someone applied a blueberry filter to the entire place. A powerful magic could be felt in the area for those sensitive to such energies, primordial and arcane in its nature. Most humans no longer practiced it in Arle's world, with Arle herself being one of the exceptions. One could easily get lost in a place like this. Very, very easily. One had to assume that Arle must have had a reason for assuming the others would be able to find their way. ...They were with Warle, of course!

Warle had to smile just a little at White Mage's assertion that she wasn't a baby, given her current circumstances. Yet, she declined to comment on this. There was no cause for assaulting the other's dignity like that. "I understand." she replied, placing a hand over her stomach. As White Mage watched her hands, a golden light that was distinctly not her own would envelop and begin to slowly heal them. It looked like Warle was chipping in! Either that or she was healing herself and the magic just happened to affect her guest too.

However, before Warle could really get on with releasing White Mage she heard approaching footsteps. Her heartbeat sped up a bit as she realized someone else was coming toward her. Who would be doing a thing like that?? This was incredibly inconvenient, but it wouldn't be long before the offender revealed himself. ...Shiya? Warle's chest tightened with anxiety. "Hold on." she softly requested. What was she supposed to do, scold him for invading her privacy by coming to check on her? At the same time though, this presented a problem. ...She just didn't have the guts to release White Mage in front of Shiya. Pun intended. Man, this was all kinds of not fair! Did he not understand why specifically she'd wanted to be alone? The crimson Arle's expression deflated a bit, but she resigned herself to making a choice she doubted anyone would be happy with.

"Yeah, we're fine..." she sofly replied, glancing down at herself in an apologetic manner for a moment. "Sorry about all the trouble, miss--I still didn't get your name. But it looks like we'll be spending a bit more time together. I'm... having a bit of trouble getting you out. I'm really sorry, again... I'll do my best to keep you safe though, so don't worry, okay? You're not holding anyone back." Warle bashfully replied. Warle, you fool! She's like three inches from your heart! It's beating like a jackhammer she can hear your panic!! ...One distressed sigh later in an attempt to calm herself, Warle stepped toward Shiya and offered him a half-hearted attempt at a goofy smile.

"I guess I'll have to make sure I keep you safe too~! ...Honestly I wish we weren't here, but it's too late for that. If you still want to follow me in there, I promise I won't leave without you." Warle playfully remarked in a mildly nervous tone before becoming somewhat more optimistic. She had a feeling they were all going to die, but well--They wouldn't stay dead, right? The dying would suck, but at least they had a chance to recover. "I guess we should get moving, though. We'll get left behind if we linger too long." she added after a moment, moving to lead the way back toward the rest of the group!

The fact she launched a knuckle sandwich upon getting touched definitely told Lemres that touching is off limits. As much as he wanted to place his hand on her shoulder to reassure her, he probably would risk that. His eyes followed her movements, looking back at the unconscious creeper slowly coming to. He understands her reasons, as he has some similar situations. being famous back home does make him open to potential stalkers. He continued to be a listening ear for her; talking would release some stress at least, as it could really bog down one's focus.

"As much as our situation is stacked against us, we just have to push on. You'll never know until you try, after all."

...He feels that sudden whiplash in moods was too sudden to be natural, and he just played along just to play mood-maker. If people don't believe in themselves, then what is this going to be? Lemres followed Arle down deeper, marvelling at the walls colored deep blue like lapis. These weren't like any of the ruins dotted around Primp, so it was fascinating to see these, especially with the mystical aura he could feel through these. It's nothing like anything he's felt, and understandably so. The magic here is of a forgotten era, with so few practicioners keeping it alive.

Though with all of the walls looking exactly the same, putting waymarkers might be a good idea, as there's not much reference points to work off of.

Choppun would slowly rise from his grave not unlike an Altered beast, His glasses Spiraling as he stood up, Wandering about and stumbling around as he adjusted his Well-ruffled Bag. "Guh! Sword watched the bladed fool and bag headed crossdresser walk back to the other Arle. It was a pointless matter to the knight however so he opted not to engage. He was more familiar with this iteration of the mage anyway and probably best to not leave her with some cosmic warlock in this place. He had a task he had to fulfill and he was one to hold to his word as far as it could take him. He would only abandon his mission if he was sensing he has reached his limits and should not strain himself further. He may be here to help Arle, but he was not going to risk his goals that badly. "I won't allow him to touch you without the risk of him losing his hand. I assure you it would be like putting your hand into one of those.... blenders," the knight reassured, apparently needing a moment to think of the name.

"Agreed, not only that but you are with one of the strongest warriors in the universe. Your experience shall be even more guarenteed to fill out. Now, let's get moving. We do not know if any more like those other swordsman are lurking around waiting for a hand at the artifact," Galacta Knight stated before heading with the others still with Arle into the inner reaches of the sanctuary.

Arle emitted a little groan of distaste at Choppun's remarks. "I think I finally understand hand sanitizer." Arle half-heartedly remarked, only to light up and beam at Galacta Knight in response to his remark. Glancing over the shoulder, she flashed a bright smile. "I'm... not sure what a blender is, but it's nice not to have to look over my shoulder all the time." Arle replied rather sentimentally. "--Hey! I think this is it!" Arle went on to remark, snapping back to attention and shifting to point toward what appeared to be a set of giant sapphire doors. They were ... already open, and beyond them the group couldn't see into the room ahead. Unlike the halls itself, no light seemed to leak inside. Undeterred, mostly because she knew why it was dark, Arle rushed forward to enter the room. She didn't get far before she stopped though, standing half-way into the darkness and glancing over her shoulder to make sure the others were with her before calling out into the abyss.

"Hello..?"
...A faint echo is Arle's only response.
You can feel something from within the room. It has a subtle yet immense presence.
"Master Guardian?"
The glimmer of light reflecting off of a great many eyes in an inhuman formation pierces the darkness.

The Phantom of God has finally granted you an audience!

The unknowable bore down upon the group, its many eyes representing its nearly omniscient vision. It stares without recognition, without kindness, without emotion. Its body began to sparkle, illuminating the azure room around it. Arle tilted her head at the guardian, bemused. "Hehe... You're not going to make me go through your trial again, are you?" Arle anxiously asked. A part of her was hoping this would be the easy part. She had no such luck. "...Alright then~" Arle relented after a long moment. The silent treatment told her that the answer was yes. All she had to do was break the sparkly transparent barrier around the phantom's body and her allies would be able to help her take it down. "Fire!" Arle incanted, launching a fireball out at it! After all her years of getting stronger and learning more about magic, she was eager to see how she fared this time. She knew she had whati t took, having defeated The Phantom God alone the first tme, but...--

The fireball dissipates into thin air immediately upon hitting the phantom, not even breaking the barrier. Arle flinched. Wait, what..? With a heavenly incantation, The Phantom of God responded with simple terms. Arle drew back at the realization that they were about to get attacked.

A bolt of lightning drops from the ceiling, striking Arle at a fraction of the speed of light. Then another bolt. And another. Nine bolts of lightning struck Arle within the timespan of about two seconds. No amount of fast footwork or even knowing the attack was coming would have saved her from an attack like that.

...When the light show ended, the smell of burnt curry powder filled the air. Probably to the surprise of no one, Arle hadn't taken an attack like that gracefully. How could you? The mage lay collapsed onto her knees, clinging to her staff and to life. She was thoroughly cooked, covered in burns and radiating smoke. Y'know what should never smoke like that? The human body. She was barely sitting up with what little strength she could muster. It looked like a gentle shove might send her to the ground never to get back up. "K...Kyuuuu..." Arle softly whined. How could this have happened?? She was supposed to be stronger than this! And yet, she couldn't get up! Her legs felt like they were fused to the ground! ...A shiver ran down Arle's spine. She sure hoped that feeling wasn't literal.

The darkness is ominous as Lemres continued to step in. This feeling of dread nibbling at him is nothing like Arca Ruins at all. It can't even be compared to dealing with the crimson demon. Combined with the piercing silence that is broken by only the group's footsteps... He can only imagine what is awaiting them beyond the doors, pre-opened to invite them in. He followed Arle down the hall, not wanting to lose her in this dark...

She called out to someone.

A painfully long silence lingered until the room was suddenly illuminated, standing before what he presumes to be a physical god. THIS was what Arle fought alone? She may have come out victorious in the past, but can history repeating truly ever work in one's favor? Unfortunately, no. A devastating storm of lightning came crashing down before anyone could react, and when it passed...

"ARLE!"

Lemres rushed over to Arle's side posthaste upon seeing the judgment befallen her. She is practically hanging by a thread right now, and he hasn't seen that white mage present here. Uh oh. BETTER IMPROVISE SOMETHING!!

And out of a panic, Lemres took whatever's left of his Halloween Candy and offered it to her. It might be a little much for her, but should she be taking any chances if each piece will heal her?

Galacta Knight looked back to their journey's marker to notice the azure markings of progression deep into the sanctuary. He could certainly feel quite an overwhealming power inside but he did not let this phase him as he simply nodded and continued to follow. This thing was no doubt much more threatening than the two that were outside. The inside was dark and only helped to emphasize the extremely powerful energy he was detecting. He stood his ground and looked around, not really being any better at seeing in the darkness than any other. However, that is when it appeared out of the darkness at the mention of the Seraphim Orb. So that artifact belonged to this large and powerful creature? It's words were in a dialect even he did not understand yet Arle seemed to have a grasp on it. "Trial? What trial?" the knight asked as he looked to Arle before back to the 'guardian' as the girl called it earlier.

That blast of fire however did not achieve much it seemed as it did not even hit the creature before fading. Instead, with another strange enchantment, the girl was blasted by what looked to be quite a powerful attack. And her previously fine condition was immediately lost to the fearsome deity. He was tempted to help with healing... But he was unsure about bringing out the Star Rod in front of this creature... Well, he had a plan. He brought his shield in front of him and began to cast a strong energy on it. The energy formed a bright reflective surface on the shield.

(Celestial Shield Stance adopted, for 3 turns, Galacta Knight can roll his CON against Magical/Energy attacks and if he succeeds, he can reflect the attack on the attacker. His Counter Stance is blocked in this state and both incur a 5 turn cooldown afterwards. His Strength is also lowered by 4 as long as he keeps this state up)

He glared at the giant figure for a moment... This next move might be risky considering what just happened to Arle, but perhaps turning this monster's move against it is his best shot until the others come. He raised his sword into the air and called down a pink meteor shard to fall down from the ceiling and attempt to strike the god, however keeping his shield primed for in case it uses another spell to strike back at him.

Just as much as a horribly timed fool as always, Shiya seemed to pick the perfect moment to go out of his way and check up on Warle. Just a few seconds more would've resulted in a lot less awkwardness... but alas, his good intentions had seemingly not placed Arle in the best spot. "Hey Arle. You finish...um... 'letting out' the other girl?" He remarked hesitantly, having to rethink his wording halfway through since Shiya honestly had no idea how it had happened in the first place to begin with, let along the methods to resolve his friend's protective devouring condition.

Unable to help himself returning Warle's contagiously goofy smile, Shiya did his best to lighten the very awkward move. He was just about to suggest leaving again so she could finish, but he didn't want to be the one to bring back up Warle's body after she clearly moved on from the topic. [Some comforter I am.] Shaking the thought from his head, the red mage just continued smiling back at his friend's playful remarks.

"Like I said; I'm a big boy! I can take care of myself."
"And I'll be (metaphorically) damned if I leave without you either, Arle."

Just about ready to plunge back into the dungeon with Arle... Shiya stopped for just a moment. Unclipping the portal gun from his belt, he pointed the infuriating object at the ground before shooting out a blue-colored projectile. Upon contact with the ground, the energy expanded into a flat energy-like oval, presumably to be paired up with another portal later. Better safe than sorry, right?

"Ah-Wait for me!" Chuckling lightly, unaware of the dangers to come, Shiya transitioned into a light jog to catch up with the girl; offering her an encouraging smile before heading back into the ominous dungeon.

As soon as he saw Choppun suddenly come springing towards them, specifically Arle, Shiya immediately rushed foreward to intercept; unfortunately enough, misunderstanding the stalker's intent. Particularly with a blazing-cyan fist to his bagged, pervy face. Learn by example, right?

And running, Arms flailing as he dug around in his Skirt *hurk* To find something to help! And what did he Produce?? A Magical time piece, and a Gust Blower! Choppun had to think real hard about this, And not just planning to send a wave of wind to Upskirt the lot of the girls. Nope, He had a better idea!

"Hey! You JERK!!! YEAH IM LOOKIN AT YOU!!!" Choppun yelled, Screaming at the God to try and draw its attention at him!

"Mmm... Nnno--But y'know what, don't worry about it. I'll keep her safe for a while." Warle corrected somewhat awkwardly, not very much wanting to talk about what had happened but unwilling to lie about it either. She just hoped Shiya wouldn't press for details. Goodness only knew what complications might arise, but that needn't be a conversation for now. The only comfort she could take was that White Mage would be pretty safe provided she didn't--y'know, go down herself.

"...Ahahaha, you're a good friend." Warle replied with a chuckle after a thoughtful moment, unable to help but smile at Shiya's determination.


The weakened Arle trembled a bit where she sat. Oh man. Oh man, this hurt badly. She wasn't sure she was going to make it at this rate. And then, a wave of healing passed over her and her battered wings regained some feeling in them. A frightened yell--and then, she found herself on the receiving end of a bag of candy. ...Hooo. She had a bad feeling about this, but now wasn't the time to be picky! Bottoms up! Arle gratefully stuffed her face. It didn't look like she'd chewed half of that, but she got it down. With a gasp, Arle sprung back to her feet!

"I feel okay~! Thanks, Lemres!" Arle blurted out, flashing Lemres a bright and appreciative smile. A rather loud growl from her stomach gave the restored mage-knight pause, though, and caused her to shudder a bit. "..." (A little sick, though.) Arle thought to herself. Something definitely felt wrong down in abdominal town, but it was decidedly a lesser threat to the imminent danger in front of them. Her smile faded a bit, taking on a more apologetic expression. What a time for an upset stomach, huh? Turning her gaze back to The Phantom God, Arle frowned.

"...It's hard to believe this is your idea of holding back." Arle sassed at the deity. Wait, what??

Shiya attacks Choppun! He--...He earns the Arle's approval, but little else. Good job, Shiya. The Phantom God decides to spare you for your ...lack of effort.

Galacta Knight's meteor hits spot on! There isn't even an attempt to dodge it. A moment later, it would become apparent why. The Phantom God shrugs off the meteor strike, as if it were but the tiniest pebble bouncing off of its magical hide. The Phantom God's Body sparkled. It completely denied Galacta Knight's attack!

"Buster Gravion" the celestial's divine voice echoed. This was Galacta Knight's chance to reflect his attack back! But uh--...Where was it, exactly? Without warning, gravity itself pressed down on Galacta Knight from the sky, threatening to crush him where he stood! After a few moments of trying to turning Galacta Knight into a used toothpaste bottle, he would abruptly be tossed aside rather superficially.

...Unfortunately for Choppun... he had just attempted to de-age a construct, something that had been the same from the moment of its birth to the day it stood before them. No leeway could be given for his innovation. In spite of his amazing luck, though, he did manage to get the thing's attention. ...For better--or worse.

"Arc Prominence" the deity incanted. And like that, the azure room turned orange as hundreds of fireballs formed above the groups heads. The fireballs rain down upon Choppun, threatening to burn him alive!

((Choppun! THE SKY IS FALLING AND ALSO IT IS ON FIRE. DOOOOOOOOOOOOODGE. ...You must dodge three fireballs to be safe. Each does 30% damage. The threshold for dodging is 15+))

"It's protected by a powerful shield!" Arle announced, having noticed Galacta Knight's attack and knowing exactly what it took to get past. Maybe she wasn't as strong as she'd been when she last confronted it, but surely she had to have some strength in her--right? All she had to do was give it everything she got! ...With some help from her new friends here on Li! Arle stretched her wings, and a golden light appeared to envelop them, forming what almost looked like an extra set of spectra wings made of light. It gave off an appearance almost like a butterfly's wings when combined. A little set of tail 'feathers' almost looked like a thin third set of wings. She then burst forth through the air, attempting to weave her way through the falling flame that inevitably rose to meet her!

As Arle weaved through the fire, a large fireball nearly smacked her out of the air. However, her burned body bore through it, dissipating the flames and leaving a trail of smoke in her wake. Still holding herself together, in large part thanks to Lemres' efforts, Arle arced up over the phantom god before rushing back down toward it. Drawing her legs up closer to her body, Arle shifted the goddess' sword into a back-handed grip and allowed herself to fall toward the phantom god. The blade seemed to grow several times its size as she did this.

Then, with a thud, she landed on the phantom's god's head and drove her blade into the deity's neck as she dropped into a crouching position on its head. With a crack, the glittering magical shield that enveloped the phantom god's body scattered in a great many directions leaving the guardian deity vulnerable. Arle was left perched atop the creature, watching with a grim satisfaction as her blow struck true. (...Of course she didn't even need my help. Why would everything make that much sense?) Shin!Arle silently asked herself as she walked in on the scene of Arle managing to penetrate The Phantom God's barrier. The Phantom God had been one of the strongest enemies she'd ever fought! It was a training ground for what laid beyond, a warning of what was to come. Just seeing it did made her heart race with anger and frustration. It was enough to force her to subdue her humanity, lest she break down and be unable to confront the foe in front of her. "...It doesn't remember either of us." Shin!Arle murmured under her breath.

Maybe if that one could do it, she could too...

"Chaos!" Shin!Arle incanted, several purple shards of ice rising into the air and shooting off to join Arle in stabbing the deity.

...But her attack seemed to fall utterly short, with the ice shattering in mid-air under an invisible force. A scowl jerked itself into existence on Shin!Arle's face. Now furious at her own failures, she completely spaced out and tunnel visioned in on The Phantom God.

"Labyrinth!" she incanted, summoning all of her energy for a powerful strike! You could just see Shin!Arle's body wither a bit under the strain, and if one were perceptive they could feel all of the energy leaving her body in a rush. It burned, to the point that her hands almost seemed to catch on fire with a dark pink flame.

Even before she cast her next spell, you could see the strength leaving her. It might seem that she was going to put herself in jeopardy! "Maybe you'll recognize them! Sp-Spectre" Shin!Arle incanted.

...From Shin!Arle's side, spirits began to manifest themselves in great numbers. People, murdered by The Phantom Guardian throughout the ages. "In your reckless display of power, you ended their lives instead of simply chasing them away. Now they're here to share that feeling with you!" Shin!Arle went on to explain as the spirits began to hover toward The Phantom God, circling it and screaming a terrible, unearthly wail. They then began to bombard The Phantom God, striking and passing through it, leaving ripples of ectoplasm in their wake.  Arle was thrown from The Phantom God by the attack, fluttering to a landing nearby towatch the 'carnage'.

Though it did not so much as budge, The Phantom God seemed to become more and more unhinged with each blow. You could see it tense, twitch ... become irritable. The spirits eventually returned to Shin!Arle, passing through her and vanishing. In their wake, they passed onto her their energy for helping give them a voice. Her wounds rapidly healed away until she looked perfectly healthy, and yet...

While the attack had gone on, Shin!Arle had collapsed onto her knees, using her staff to prop herself up. She did not rise from this position after it ended, shivering where she sat. She seemed a bit out of it in spite of everything. It was probably the result of severe magic deprivation, and she'd need a moment to recover even with the healing she'd received.

Meanwhile... The Phantom God's two 'main' eyes opened, its true nature revealing itself. A terrifying visage full of anger bore down over the group, peering deeply into them. Terrible fangs lined its mouth, but for what purpose? It had no wounds, none that the eye could see anyway. One thing was for sure, the battle wasn't over yet.

Lemres breathed a sigh of relief upon seeing Arle recover to a more acceptable condition. He's glad the candy did the trick, but he noticed Arle recoil a bit from eating literally a handful of sweets at once. The comet warlock is used to it, but to anyone else? That can't be good for the systems at all, not just Arle.

A shame I don't have something to relieve a stomachache from all that candy, though.

There's more pressing matters at hand, however. Whatever Lemres is confronting, Phantom God definitely is a formidable foe to fight. The barrier looked pretty stout, so Lemres held off on trying to strike it. Just by looking at the light refracting off the surface from Galacta Knight's impacts, it's not going to fall that easily. With Arle joining in to try and break through the flames, he watched her mount on the neck and impale it with the lance. Nice!

Lemres stood up, reading his wand to take on the offensive. The barrier might regenerate, so now's the time to strike!

The celestial knight waited for his chance to blast the magic back at the seeming deity and it would seem that his chance had come when it started inciting it's spell. He prepared his shield quickly in anticipation... just to notice that nothing was coming until it hit him. That it being a ton of pressure upon him as he was forced to the floor. Wait, this was some kind of spell used to force gravity upon him which means... That's right! Even his power can not repel something like the force of gravity. "Curses, he saw through me and worked around my enchantment. Too bad he has underestimated my power!" the Knight cursed as he pushed himself to his feet, trembling as he worked to physically overpower the spell, enduring the crushing force that he was put under. After a moment's struggle and as he was flung he broke through with his wings spread and a pink light eminating from him as he seemed to survive the harsh force unscathed as he stopped himself from colliding with anything. Being the most powerful space warrior had it's perks.

"I noticed, how do you plan for us to shatter it?" Galacta Knight questioned as Arle explained it had a barrier and that cosplaying fool from earlier showed up. The warrior watched as Arle shot herself towards the sacred beast, enduring it's attacks as her sword grew larger and shattered the barrier. The knight blinked after a moment before smirking under his mask. She was sure impressing him more than he expected. With that the others arrived and it looked to be time for the real fight to start... That is until he noticed something... Arle's sword was glowing blue as if it was reacting to something... It reminded him of the legends of a sword that glowed when around evil or those affected by darkness. That sword seemed different from the description he picked up from Zant however... Though Giriham spoke of another sword in a similar fashion... The Knight shook his head... well, body and focused on the matter at hand. He prepared himself, in this stance he had to rely on him magic sword skills. Still, he has mastered all forms of combat and perfected them to this purpose.

He held his lance to the air and channeled his powers to exploit the opportunity. Down from the sky rained lightning bolts upon the god and next came fire from the ground to scorch the divine monstrosity from below as he utilized both of his elemental powers. He then threw his shield forward as the star insignia on the shield glowed golden before firing a golden beam of energy out of the shield at the god to blast him with some of that old fashioned space knight magic.

As the three of them walked in on the wrathful "God" wreaking havoc on their comrades, Shiya involuntarily shuddered on sight. "...I don't think I'd want that thing to remember me." He quietly commented, barely overhearing Arle's murmuring while he steeled himself for the coming fight.

"Oblivion!" Shiya announced, throwing his arm to point towards the angered deity. On cue, EnerGy blossomed out from the mage's palm before forming in a variety of bladed weapons suspended in mid-air (a few monado's even dotted here and there among them as well!). Casting his arm downward, the cloud of swords were sent flying at The Phantom God to strike in a variety of places upon it's body.

Turning his head towards Warle, Shiya grinned sheepishly; reaching his hand back to scratch the back of his hair as he spoke. "Hehehe... Thought I'd try out some new catch-phrases for attacks. Make me sound cool...er...."

...He's such a dork.

His expression almost immediately though shifted to one of great concern as he watched his friend strain herself immensely with her next attack. "H-Hey, don't strain yourself." Reaching out a cautious hand to his friend, the teen leaped back instinctively a moment later as hundreds of the undead began manifesting around the girl before suicide bombing their opponent! "AH! GHOSTS?! SINCE WHEN CAN YOU SUMMON GHOSTS?!"

He didn't know whether to be really impressed at how cool this was, worried his friend was nearly killing herself summoning the undead in a spectacular attack, or scared of the fact she was summoning the dead! All in all though, this was a good development right. [This is still good. Arle's really winded, but she must've really dented that thing with that attack. I wouldn't be surprised if the fight was ov-]

His face slowly fell, witnessing the previously passive-looking deity's expression shifting to one more befitting of a demon than a god; it's enraged demeanor and newly grown fangs causing Shiya to involuntarily shiver. "...er.......now............."

Audibly swallowing down the spit that had collected in his quickly drying mouth, Shiya positioned himself in front of where Warle had collapsed on her knees. Twisting his head back to smile at her, Shiya turned his attention back to the omnipotent beast. From what he was seeing, Blarle was fighting the head while that green guy and Kirby-knight were fighting the body of the creature. (Choppun was doing... something?) This meant that it was his duty to protect Arle while she recuperated; and damn it, he'd do his best with that job even if it killed him! "You work on getting your strength back Arle! If that thing wants to attack you, It'll have to go through me!"

To accentuate his point, Shiya thrust his arm to the side, his eye glowing bright cyan as more energy intertwined down his limbs before flowing outward; the mystical material weaving itself into the shape of a more sturdy scarlet blade!

Swinging his arm, the suspended Monado spun around his body like a saw-blade before abruptly sending a beam of green energy flying at the phantom deity! "Monado Purge!"

Warle chuckled a bit in the face of death, mostly because Shiya was indeed a dork and she kinda liked that in a person. She flashed him a look from where she kneeled, a smile and an only partially distracted from the wrathful diety boring over them. "I kinda like it~" she replied, squirming back to her feet. Her legs buckled and wobbled a bit, but she used her golden staff for its unusually utilitarian purpose--balancing herself. "This world is is full of ghosts. They were always there--I just gave them the energy to manifest themselves." Warle explained in a thoughtful tone. There was just so much turmoil in the world, so many people who died unfulfilled. Could there ever be a place without ghosts? And then... Warle pre-emptively winced. Oh hey, The Phantom God was doing something.

The Phantom of God writhed under the heroes assault. Thankfully, for all its power, one thing it couldn't do very well was dodge. In the wake of Arle shattering its shield, the group would find their attacks landing without fail. The ghostly deity's body gave under the attacks, wounds marrings its body. But with such an alien physiology, how could one ever know how close it was to going down? A low growling noise filled the chamber in tandem with a orange-white mist that painted the azure room red. A hellish miasma then proceeded to roll in, an ocean of fire threatening to swallow the entire group up.

As the sea of flames caressed their bodies, singing their clothes and licking at their exposed skin, both Arles maanged to resist the urge to scream, sparing their lungs from being cooked. As the flames dissipated, a mildly panicked Arle had to put out one of her wings and her skirt. Warle was a bit more composed, allowing her to act. Before the flames hit, the only person in the room who knew what was about to happen before it did used her foresight to use her limited strength to lunge out and pull Shiya into a protective hug. Sorry, Shiya, but your face is very burnable. Warle's gonna go ahed and mush it into her chest where the fire can't get it.

When the flames dissipated, she'd quickly release him. " . . . Sorry." Warle somewhat bashfully apologized. She was having a bad day with this whole personal space stuff, but she had to true to herself and her conscience was yelling at her to protect people. At least he didn't get the White Mage treatment, right?

And then, The Phantom God's many eyes locked onto Galacta Knight. It seems that he'd done a good job at being a standout fighter and had managed to attract some undue attention. "Photon Smasher" the deity incanted. From its core, several beams of light burst out and cut through the room like butter, tearing precise little holes through the room. One could only imagine what sort of horrors they'd inflict on one's body if they hit. The beams began to converge on Galacta Knight in a spiraling fashion, threatening to quadrisect him where he stood.

Lastly, The Phantom Of God erected a briefly visible yellow wall of magic around itself!  It quickly became entirely transparent, ...without doing anything readily apparent. " . . . It just shielded itself against electricity! Don't use any electric element attacks!" Arle helpfully explained. Gee, thanks for breaking my surprise screw your lightning mechanic, Arle.

Singed, but not out of the fight, Arle landed on the ground and took a recoil resistant position by digging her heels in and bracing herself. "Holy Laser!" Arle incanted. You'd think the phantom of "God" would be immune to holy magic as a rule, or at least wouldn't be as effected by it. But well--There was a reason it was just the 'phantom' of God.

The laser pierced a hole straight through The Phantom God's body, dealing massive damage as it erupted in an explosion of holy energy! Hoo boy, look at that precision. It was like her own miniature photon smasher without the converging lasers. She then quickly shifed gears, healing herself with a simple "Healing!" to help herself withstand another attack. ...And also to soothe some of that indigestion pain distracting her right about now.
