"..." Galacta Knight watched as a pillar of flame rose from the ground and he swiftly jumped back from the final Pyroclasm. However in his haste he was slashed and hit for the first time as the woman's blade cut him in retaliation. However, he resisted death as he was too determined to die to such an attack as there was a lot he had still to do. He jumped back from the second slash before staring the woman down as she fell. "Death has no meaning for me. As long as I have will, you can not claim me," he stated simply as he turned around... Only to not realize she still had enough energy to launch an explosion that sent him flying until he corrected his flight to land.

He walked back over to the group to... Was the other Arle always that filled up looking?... Choosing to ignore it, he instead focused on how wounded she looked... "Yes, but you look poor. Here," Galacta Knight said as he pulled out a star tipped wand and waved it to give a refreshing heal to himself and Warle. Unfortunately for the others, he could only focus this heal on himself and the girl not familiar with healing magic personally.

White Mage frowned as her Smite spell did no harm to the male assailant... huh. Not evil, then. Who would've thought it? Well, if the Mysterious Women shared the same alignment, that would leave the Light Warrior's already less-than-impressive offensive skills halved in effectiveness. She guess she would have to use her good ol 'trusty hammer if it came to it. Smashy smashy.

The red Arle twin was consumed in flames and collapsed, scorched. White Mage was still in pain from a similar feeling a moment ago and staggered over to Shin!Arle's aid despite how sore her own burnt body felt to move. But she had no spells available to bring any relief to her so all she could do was try to help her up to her feet. She looked inside herself for some words of comfort or encouragement, but she was tired and her body ached and burned. Suddenly, a storm of flames seemed to appear from all directions.

"By the Aeons..." Gasped White Mage - there was no escaping this time. This was the end - it had to be, what other option was there? Shin!Arle grabbed her firmly by the shoulders and White Mage looked into her eyes.

"...Please forgive me for this," said the red Arle close to White Mage's face. A hug! She wanted to embrace as one last act of love as the flames consumed them both. White Mage felt tears well up in her eyes and threaten to spill over onto her cheeks.

"It's not your fault..." Sobbed White Mage, "You didn't know that we would - gwah!" And with that gwah, White Mage was magically ingested into Shin!Arle's stomach. Well. That was not the embrace she was expecting. It took her a while to realize what had happened - it was the wash of heat and the sensation of pain and discomfort emanating around her that woke the healer from her stupor. Red Arle had protected her inside of her own body, shielding her from the flames! She saved her!

"Sorry, sorry... Are you okay?" Came a voice from the outside of her protective inner-walls.

"Yes, I'm okay!" White Mage called out awkwardly to the world beyond, "Thank you! I would try to hug you from in here but that seems unethical somehow!"

The last throes of the battle went on outside without White Mage's participation. There wasn't much she could do to help, so she just kind of hummed to herself and hoped to gain back enough magical energy to assist Shin!Arle soon. She thought this would be a good time to meditate... she could even read a book in here, if only she'd thought to bring one. But then, the last of the sounds of battle died down and there was nothing but sounds of congratulations.

"Great work everyone!" Called out White Mage, feeling a little awkward from her current position. She wondered what else she could say to contribute.

"Arle's awesome!" She shouted, "Don't any of you judge her appearance! She ate me to save my life!" She then realized how weird that sounded. "Can... can I come out now please?"

His attacks did basically nothing.... HOW!? The guy was already on the brink of death and Shiya couldn't even finish him off then! Talk about humiliating...

Watching in disturbed silence as the antagonistic stranger yanked himself free of the sword pinning him to the wall previously, Shiya tensed up as he watched the sword lazily blur towards him. It was fine though, there was no way that Shiya couldn't dodge an attack like tha-

Barely able to choke out a response, Shiya stumbled backwards. As if unable to process what had just happened, his eyes went dark, the EnerGy normally flowing through them flickering from the sudden and unexpected assault. His chest felt warm... and wet. Looking down at the front of his shirt, a large gash blossomed outward, the pain finally erupting into Shiya's body, stifling a cry caught in his throat while the useless mage crumpled to the ground.

"N-No.... I.. I.... I wont be stopped... that easily." Crouched on one knee while gripping the tear in his clothing, Shiya glowered up at the Mysterious man already preparing for another fiery assault... an explosion of flames he wasn't sure that he could even survive!

"HRN!" Throwing himself to the side in a haphazard tumble, Shiya just barely was able to clear the perimeter of the attack... but not before witnessing the fiery death spray out among his allies. Projecting a blade before driving it into the ground, Shiya forced himself to his feet at the protest of his muscles screaming in agony. He couldn't afford being paralyzed in pain, he had to help his allies, help his friend! "Don't w-worry..." Lunging foreward on his second wind, Shiya hurried towards Warle to hopefully protect her from any further assault; his gaze alerted by her very painful looking burns. "Tis merely a flesh wou-"

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-" The entire area was engulfed in fire due to the Mysterious Woman's own attack that Shiya had unfortunately not been paying attention to. Screaming bloody murder as the flames swallowed his form whole, Shiya collapsed onto the ground; fire singeing his hair, devouring his clothing into ash, and practically searing the skin off his body as it mercilessly assaulted every fiber of his being... maybe this is why people wear armor and other forms of protection outside of thin clothe...

Reaching out a hand at Warle, his mind still set on helping his injured friend despite the pain Shiya himself was feeling from the fiery assault, EnerGy practically shot out of Shiya's arm like a bullet before spreading like a mesh over Warle with intent to at least alleviate her pain. The mission came first, and Warle was more important to it than he was!

Time seemed to blur with the pain as Shiya simply lay there, stewing in the fires even after they had calmed down everywhere else. Hearing someone nearby ask if everyone was alright, the injured and toasty mage's voice bubbled in his throat like a volcano... before suddenly spewing out of his chapped and charred lips in a shrill cry.

"I'M STILL BUUUUUUUUUUUUUURNIIIIIIIING!!!"

"...Where did you even get that?" Arle asked in an accusing tone, gesturing at the breastplate Choppun was wearing from a 'safe' distance. She never, ever felt safe with that guy around, even if he was kind of an idiot. She was a little creeped out, not because of the crossdressing--though he really ought to shave his legs if he wanted to pull off that look--but because her armor was special (TM) and she wasn't sure how she felt about knockoffs showing up unexplained.






Meanwhile, Warle gave Lemres a decisively weirded out look. She could tell she was being babied but wasn't certain why. She'd come here with the expectation that she'd be throwing her life away to make sure Arle survived this place. Why were people being ... nice to her? Nobody had even asked who she was. Bouncing over to Shiya in a mild panick, she squatted down and just kinda using a canteen of water and a gentle hand to begin snuffing out all the flames, wetting her hand before grasping the smaller flames and just dousing the larger ones. It was supposed to be magic drinking water to help her keep her stamina up, but well--...priorities. "H-Hey... You don't have to do this just for me, okay? You don't have to stay here..." Warle urged, trying to hide just how much she wanted Shiya to leave. She knew she might not be able to protect him here, and well--Let's just say not being able to protect the people she cared about was a sore spot for her. She didn't want him to get himself hurt for her. After she finished putting out the lingering flames, Warle considered his wounds for a moment before coming to a realization. Producing an orb of energy, she promptly pushed it into Shiya, the energy absorbing into him!

Warle would then offer to help Shiya back up before moving to approach Lemres with concern. Slightly less concern than the guy who was literally on fire, but still concern. " . . . I don't--" Warle began in protest of his jarring behavior, producing two slices of cake to offer him. She didn't know Lemres very well, but she figured sweets might help him lighten up a little. It was kind of weird how she missed his smile despite having never taken particular notice of it before now. Back to the cake, though. It might look familiar to Lemres, considering he'd made this particular cake for Arle's birthday, yet this would be the first time he and Warle had met--as far as he knew.

...However, before Warle could really get into this talk about not being so painfully selfless her stomach began speaking and her words died in her throat. Oh hey, look at that! Warle's face matched her armor now. She kinda looked like she might just die of embarrassment as White Mage jumped to her defense. Just a little. White Mage could feel Warle's body tense with anxiety around her, her heart beating rather rapidly just above her. They were the only signs of how much distress she was causing the other, unfortunately. Warle stood there with slightly trembling hands for a moment, just short of trying to regain her composure. She then promptly shied away from the group, almost cowering a bit. A protective hand would pat White Mage through her belly. "Aha... Of course." she softly reassured, making a point to be heard by all the people she assumed were paying attention to her now. "I just need some privacy and a bit of time. I'll catch up with you guys, alright?" she went on to reply in an overtly nervous tone before promptly turning tail and fleeing back the way she'd arrived.

...Arle watched Warle run off in bewilderment. Huh. Should she feel threatened that her doppelganger apparently had one of those things? She kinda did, but she also had to remind herself that they weren't enemies. "Hehe, well at least they're getting along now~ Hold on. Before we move on, I've got something to help." Arle remarked, making light of the situation. She then produced a special pokeball and tossed it, releasing a chansey! It promptly began scattering fresh eggs all over the palce! Oddly enough, they're all softboiled already. "Anyone need some food to help them pull through..?" Arle offered.

((Arle used her pokeball generator Li's first pokemon master confirmed to create and use a chansey pokeball! There are five eggs in total, all of which have the mechanics of the food item. First come first serve with these.))

Ahead of them, a sprawling azure dungeon awaited. It was oddly serene now that the fighting had stopped, its beautiful halls untouched for quite some time. Finally, Arle would retrieve the goddess' blade before turning her attention to Galacta Knight, the only one besides her that looked okay. "That's really nifty! I never knew you could do that with a Star Rod." Arle remarked. ...Come to think of it, that star rod didn't look like the ones she'd observed on Li so far! It had an entirely different handle design and the star head was just kind of floating above it, rather than connected physically. ...Cool! "Thanks again for coming to help. I wasn't expecting those guys to show up or attack me like that, but I think we did great! I wonder why they were so insistent on having the orb for themselves?"

Meanwhile, Warle carried White Mage out of the dungeon inside her, only stopping once she couldn't hear the others anymore. Finally coming to a stop and taking a moment to catch her breath, she allowed a smile to grace her face. Now that she was alone she could deal with this without feeling self-conscious. ...Too self-conscious, anyway. "Hehe, sorry about keeping you in there a bit longer--...and all the moving around. I hope I'm not making it harder for you in there." Warle remarked half-jokingly, shifting to fix her clothes a bit now that she had a bit of 'relative' privacy. She doubted White Mage would judge her for it. "...Thanks for sticking up for me back there, by the way. You're pretty awesome too. And for the record, you can hug me as much as you want." Warle softly remarked in a casually affectionate tone, granting the other her consent. She admittedly admired the way White Mage chose to respect her body. That was part of the reason she wasn't upset with the other for embarrassing her. She could tell it was innocent and that White Mage meant well. Taking another deep breath to finish calming herself down the bashfulness finally vanished from her tone.




The red mage placed her hand on her hip. "While we're together though, can we talk..?" Warle requested. There was a reason she'd asked for some privacy, and it wasn't just for their dignities. "I just realized I never got your name in all the commotion. ...How'd you get mixed up in all of this anyway? I don't mean to treat you like a baby or anything; it's just you seem like a really nice girl and I don't want you to get hurt out there. Some of the things waiting for us are a lot more dangerous than those ruffians." Warle went on to ask, becoming anxious at the thought. In reality, it was her protectiveness over White Mage that was delaying the other's release. She wanted to give the other a chance to reconsider the danger she was puttting herself in before she ran off back in there.

Okay, that was indeed really rough. If the enemies were that brutal right off the bat, then what sorts of deadly beings lurked down there? There is a time of respite at the very least, so Lemres has a breather. Well, it's not like he could do much at his current state, he needs to recoup his magic. Lemres plopped to the ground, taking a breather and... was presented the birthday cake? This is some weird circle of regifting he's gone into; is it rude to take it because it's originally his recipe? Is it rude to refuse it regardless? Let's not think about that too deeply. He took a good look of her, noticing that she's looking pretty beat up, although not to the extent of him due to all of the healing magic. What's her dig? Does she not care she dies here? He accepted the cake regardless, if only because sweets are his fuel, but not before popping a question on her.

"......Why are you throwing your life away like that? Don't go telling me your life matters less than anyone else's in this, Arle. If even one of us falls, the entire parade could fall apart like a card tower."

He purposely didn't address the coloration difference. He thinks both of the Arle's equally matter here; no more, no less. He's not going to get his answer right away though, she walked out on him. He shrugged, eating the cake regardless. As sweet as it is, it didn't really do much to raise his spirit back to his more cheerful levels.

Galacta Knight watched Warle leave, a stare being the only thing clear through his mask. Did a voice come from her just now? Was that the work of one of those cookpots? They did seem to be missing someone... The powerful knight decided to let it drop and did not partake in the eggs. He had plenty of strength he felt remaining. He took some harsh blows but he is far from out in this fight. He can continue fighting for quite a while after and it appears they had a moment of rest and calm to take advantage of. Though he did not have much means of preparation.

Though it seemed Arle had noticed something different about his Star Rod even if it was just function. She did not seem aware of it's true identity but that is knowledge she'd have to gain on her own. "It's a special Star Rod. Contains much more power than the normal variety. However, it's power is being diverted here so it's uses are limited," the Knight explains as he stowed it away. It was good that no one recogonized the artifact from Star Haven here, left much less concern for him, and no one seemed to recogonize the knight that's literally one of the most Wanted men in the Life Sphere. "It's hard to say for sure but they clearly saw it as important and powerful. Killing for power is an easy path to choose," Sword posed his thoughts simply and with a... pretty hard to read tone. The mask was doing no favors for telling this guy either.

Choppun took a moment to Admire the fact that Arle, Yes, THE Arle was talkin' to him, Eye to Eye! Choppun gasped, Giggling like a schoolgirl as he pranced about in his Mini-skirt, Striking a Pose Worthy of a Moon-Punishing Scout of the Sailor Variety. "How else would i get it, Arle Chan~! I got it by mimicking your own outfit! What else could POSSIBLY show my love as much as that, By Making it from the cackles of my Heart!" Choppun would ask, Jumping back up and grinning under his bag...Not that anyone would see it, but his eyebrows sure made some unique worm-like movements of Joy, as he Squandered his way closer to Arle! Would be alot prettier if Choppun wasnt also scuffed and ripped apart and covered in various flavors of His own Blood.


Choppun would however be stopped, as he Looked at Warle walking off, As Choppun leaned over to...A Blank space of air, Motioning a 'Lookatdisguy" Motion with his hand. In truth, he was motioning toward the Currently Cigarette-smoking Arle made out of Choppun's delusional Mind as he pointed at Warle. "Ya' think i should follow her?? Maybe see whats the haps? Check under the skirt?"

"Check under any of there skirts and im gonna drop kick your head. And Also no..She said she wanted some Privacy, right? So, Just stay clear of her, And let her have her Privacy! She'll be happier!"

"Ah, yes, of course! Normal Human Dececy, why didnt i think of that??" Choppun said, Having just thought of it himself, as He then danced on over to Shiya, seeing as he was on Fire, Choppun peered over with a Raised brow. "...You uh, Sure aint lookin' too hot mister fire man. Well, i mean you are, but..."

"-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" Shiya's really got a good set of lungs, huh?

Slowly, but surely, Shiya's screams of pain began to die down as he felt the flames slowly getting doused by a gentle hand. The familiar touch drawing his literally dry eyes up, his gaze was met with the thankful sight of Warle tending to him with exceptional care. "A-Arle..." He murmured, having trouble forming coherent words now outside of plain guttural screaming, but the lack of fire was certainly helping now. Shaking his singed head, the mage's arm extended out as Warle pushed some sort of warm and healing light into his body... making Shiya feel surprisingly healthier, stronger!  "...Thanks."

Sitting up, he gently grasped Warle's arm, trying to draw her attention with a smile after her selfless comment. "I'm not leaving you, Arle." He remarked, shaking his head at her selfless, yet in-vain request.  "I'd get lit on fire a million times if it meant helping you. Besides;"

"This place is worse when you're alone. So let's keep each other company. Okay?"

Accepting Warle's invitation of help to get back up, Shiya would stretch out his still sore body, still trying to shake off the sensation of burning and stabbing despite being healed. Finishing up, he silently stuffed his hands into his pockets, taking small amusement in watching Warle walking around, playing white-mage for people that needed it.... hey, wait, didn't they have a white mage?

Questioning for a second whether he had imagined the absent member of their party, Shiya was just about ready to draw attention to the fact before said girl's voice seemed to pipe up from... Warle's stomach? "..." Utterly speechless for a good few moments, Shiya watched in complete silence as his friend's face shifted shades to match her armor... the sight of Warle so flustered and anxious finally snapped Shiya out of the stupor, as he was quick to stutter his own defenses. "Ye-uh-Yeah! Stop looking at Arle weird, everyone. She's just doing her best to help! [...I think...?]"

Debating whether or not to pursue his friend as she fled in quite a bit of distress, Shiya instead decided to hang back for now. Besides, the only dangerous things were further into the dungeon, not out. Glancing sideways at Choppun as he approached him, the mage offered the cross-dresser an uncertain sideways glance; he honestly had no idea how to react to a guy cross-dressing as his friend... it was kinda creepy though. "I'm fine... Uh...whoever you are? [Weirdo.]" Adding that last bit in his mind, Shiya responded a bit hesitantly to Choppun before straying away a bit.

Bending down as he walked, he decided to scoop up three of the eggs that had popped up onto the ground from somewhere into his arms for a quick snackage. Five second rule, right?

Interjected Shiya, smiling faintly as he waved at Warle's blue doppelganger. "Sooooooo... I'm guessing you're Arle's 'evil soul-twin'?" Grinning with a joking tone, he sidled up next to Arle in a relatively friendly manner.

"I was guessing chaotic-neutral, at first... but you did kinda impale that guy pretty maliciously?"
"So what's your story?"

Good question, Lemres! Arle would've been tempted to ask herself, but she was a little bit afraid of getting yelled at. She also would have been interested in addressing that cool Star Rod Galacta Knight had just shown off.

Y'know, if actual predator Choppun McGrabbyhands wasn't approaching her.

One could just see it aaaaall over Arle's body language. She was very clearly afraid of that dude, or perhaps afraid of what he might do. She was tense as a cinder block and recoiled a bit if he so much as stepped in her direction. But then he actually approached her. ...Talking about upskirting her. Even a fool could see he was about to earn Arle's ire. And that ire? It came in the form of a fist. "NO!" Arle blurted out lashing out rather defensively to punch Choppun in his baggy face. All the kinetic energy from her arm would funnel into her golden gauntlets, manifesting itself as a burst of light elemental magic on impact! The secret to how lithe arms like that could pack such a punch!

Quite the satisfying blow! Choppun seemed to be in blinding pain for a moment, Trying to haul himself up in vein. Atleast he wont be bothering anyone else for this moment in time! Galacta Knight watched as Choppun drew near Arle, before getting punched... Some people have no honor nor strength... Now, this man just eating through eggs with no regard for self-health is a man truly worth looking out for. One that does things without no fear of personal safety is truly one that should not be underestimated... Just recovering from being on fire or no. Still, his blade should not be tarnished by slashing through this worthless cosplayer... Being punched seemed to subdue him enough for now. One had to wonder what was going on through his mind... and then swiftly stop... Yeah, I wouldn't do that either. His mind is... fearsome. Humans can be terrifying creatures. A psychic voice went through Sword's knight. So Giegue was still keeping an eye on him after all, not that he told him not to.

"She is no evil clone. She is just as real as she looks. I do not know where the difference in lies but you should still your tongue, red cloaked man. A true warrior does not hesitate when they strike with their swords. Hesitation shows weakness and could be your end in a duel of life or death. I have no idea what the law enforcement holds against you but it just continues to show how completely incompetent and lazy those toads truly are," Sword answered Shiya's question as well as a bunch of other things, just preparing himself mentally for the fights to come. If they were just here as a nuisance and wanting power, then what else is here and how deadly could it prove to be in combat? He had to admit, he was anticipating the challenge with a bit of excitement though he did not show it.

It took a while for Lemres to cool down on his lowkey anger, but he should be back to his usual self. Well, as usual as he could get. Lemres approached Arle upon noticing how much of a nervous wreck she is right now, attempting to ease her with some talk. She can't let emotion bottle up; that could mess with her concentration.

"Hey, are you feeling alright? I can't help but worry about the both of you. The second you back there was being incredibly reckless, as if she's not afraid to throw her life away on a battle that's practically cliff-side. If one of us goes down, our battle could fall apart in an instant."

...Never mind that there's more wacky things in the background. Lemres knows his time and place.

Shiya blinked a few times, trying to register what had just happened. Creepy man-ish bag Arle just walked up to evil twin Arle, then Bluarle socked him in the face. Now bag Arle was lying indisposed face-down on the floor, probably scrounging up the little brain-cells they had left. "I know I should feel bad... but let's be honest; that guy was a major weirdo." Shiya remarked, scratching his hair as he observed the aftermath of the scene, feeling more bad for the clearly shaken up Arle than the other guy.

Suddenly, the teen's gaze was redirected towards the neck-less knight after hearing the shady fellow address him. "Hm?"

"U-Um... thanks... uh, Edgy Kirby?" Not exactly expecting the remark, it took a few minutes for the youth to even analyse it all.
"Yeah, the police are idiotic jerks but... well..."

Sighing, Shiya turned away from Galacta Knight towards the path the group had initially come from. "Let's just say... I'm not entirely innocent. I did some pretty bad things..." Feeling almost conflicted about recollecting, Shiya's tensed body language was a dead giveaway that he wasn't exactly willing to recollect it now. It was neither the time or place.

Heading off down the way they had come, Shiya raised his voice a little as he separated from the group. "I'm gonna go check on Arle and the other girl." The company he had right now was nice enough (barring Choppun), but noticing Lemres comforting the distressed Arle made Shiya recall the other he was more familiar with rushing out similarly disheveled and made him want  to do the same... Also yeah, Choppun and Meta Kirby Mc'Edgeface were creeping him out.

Exiting the dungeon a few minutes later, the mage couldn't help but take a deep breathe, enjoying the more spacious and less tense environment. Cupping a hand to the side of his mouth, Shiya raised his voice in a call, remembering the reason he had come out in the first place.

"Hey Arle! You guys okay out here?"

Silence fell across the space that White Mage occupied within Warle. She thought on the words from her current landlady, and summoned tiny beads of light to be able to look down at the damage on her hands; her clothes; she had been hurt badly in the battle, and the red Arle was right - that was the easiest conflict they would suffer on their journey below. Logic would dictate that inevitably, she wouldn’t last down there and would just hold the rest of her party back. Maybe even risk putting them into danger. She bunched her hands into fists and the beads of light were crushed into dissolving sparkles.



“I’m no baby,” She said firmly, “But… I’m not ready for something like this just yet. I just wanted to help you all so badly but I also don’t want to hold any of you back or slow you down.” She sighed, resigned to her fate. “Can you let me out of here please? I’ll need to head back to the Life Sphere… I’m in need of a long session of meditation and self-reflection.”


(OOC: Sorry guys, I think I might have to bring this character back for some tweaks as stats-wise she doesn't hold up in combat at the moment. I'll be taking her out of this thread - just need to get her out of Warle's belly first. XD)
