The Ant watched as he landed on Perry and waited to see how he'll react, well he knows that the umbrella knows his presence since he's cross eyed so he can see the Ant, but the Ant seemed to be less panicked when Perry did not seem to do anything. "Phew...Looks Like I can be l---AHH!" The Ant suddenly fell to his doom in Perry's mouth, as Perry ate the ant he could hear a tiny scream before It suddenly stopped...Well that was dark.

Soon after Tails, Peach and Perry managed to make It up to where Paula was, the young psychic pointed to the second entrance to the castle. "Here's our entrance...And apparently there's a party going on in a dinner room somewhere In the castle...Which Is odd, but we should investigate It, also this is officially Osohe castle, so hopefully we can find the Diary and Sanctuary Stone soon." Paula said to the group as she entered the castle through the doorway and was soon met by a very old hallway, everything in this hall looks destroyed, apart from two statues in the middle of the hall.

The first statue was holding a giant green ball, there was also an engraving below It which thankfully did not rot away, If one were to inspect the engraving, this Is what It says.

The second statue was of a small man doing a pose, the engraving was unfortunately rotted away unlike the first statue, however If one were to inspect the engraving more closely, this Is what It said's...Well the remaining parts.

Finally of course, the main situation of these halls were two doors at each end...The only problem Is, which one to go through..."Ok guys, which door do you think will lead us the way to the Di---They were suddenly interrupted by a ghoulish laugh...However It was unknown which door It was coming from. "Where did that cheesy laugh came from?" Paula said as she looked at the left door before looking back at the group.


"I vote for the left door, which door do you want to go through?"

Tails decided to stay in his mech for now. There was no telling if they would need it's strength very soon... Besides, Tails was honestly getting a bit tired from walking so the mech was a good way to relax. "There is a party going on here? I thought this island was abandoned... At least we are in the right place," Tails said, though his tone was a bit worried.

Tails really hoped there would be no ghosts hanging around this supposed to be abandoned castle. Tails can handle the weird mannequins but ghosts were about his limit when it came to creeps. Sure, him and Sonic have encountered ghosts a few times on their various adventures... But he was still creeped out by them. There was no scientific way he could ever find to explain them and they generally proved to be scary for the young fox.

Tails let out a deep sigh that was somewhat muffled by his mech suit. There were some statues in the area and the engraving of the ball statue was kind of odd... What does it mean by deeply regretting knocking it off? Was there some kind of royal punishment or... something a bit more...

Tails shook the thought of his mind and ignored the GET OUT message of the second statue. This place was creepy enough without thinking too deeply into it. That was always a hard decision for a scientific fox like Tails but given the situation it was a lot easier. Tails turned around and looked at the two doors...

Until a creepy disembodied laugh caught him off guard. Tails was immediately startled by the spooky noise and let out an "Ah!" If one was to turn around and look at Tails after his little scream, they would notice his mech was now in a position on one foot and the two mech arms shielding the cockpit in a goofy way. After a few seconds and settling down from his outburst the mech returned to a standing position and Sonic spoke,  "Uh... Sorry about that," Tails apologized as he rubbed the back of the top of the mech with an arm. "I think we should go through the left door too. Ahahahaha," Tails agreed as he laughed awkwardly. He really did not want to be left alone if there really were ghosts.

Perry hesitated for a moment. Had that ant just talked? ...No no. That was silly. Ants weren't people! ...Right? Perry dismissed the thought from his head. There was something more important calling for his attention. Meanwhile, Peach w0uld let out a little sigh."Unfortunately, I think I've lost my appetite." Peach lamented in response to Paula's comment about investigating this party. She was decidedly not a fan of alcohol or bugs.

Upon entering the ruined hallway, Peach looked stepped forward to examine the words on the statues. Huh... How odd! What did any of it mean? The princess shot straight up at the sound of an eerie laugh, however, turning to glance around herself anxiously. "...I'm not sure, but it didn't sound very jolly." she mused aloud, a tad disturbed by the sound. The princess would catch Tails acting like a goofball and would smile at him reassuringly before taking Paula's side. "I guess we're all going together, then!" she would add, moving towards the left door. There was no way Peach wanted to leave Paula alone, now of all times especially. She shifted to crack the door open and peek inside. You never knew what might be waiting on the other side...

Paula listened as the group decided to follow her vote and go through the left door. "Well then, left It Is...I hope we don't run into whoever made that laugh." Paula said as she walked to the left door and opened It before entering, as everyone would leave the halls and look at the statues one more time...The right door, suddenly opened...But mysteriously nobody came out, apart from one particular figure.




A Ghost

"Come b--Huh?" The ghost suddenly stopped speaking in a creepy voice as he realised the group has left the halls. "Oh...Crap." The ghost said, now speaking in a british voice and floated in circles, voicing his disappointment that he wont be fighting the group at the other door...What will Artsy think?

"This Is bad, Artsy will be disappointed in me." The ghost said as he continued to float...As another voice replied back. "Indeed I am." The grizzly voice said as the Ghost suddenly stopped and looked around. "Artsy...Where are you?" He said looking around for the source of the voice. "Somewhere...Watching, and I would say...I was disappointed In what you did minion, If you didn't laugh the group would of fell into your trap...No, this accident wont go undone." He said as the door behind the ghost suddenly glowed behind him, he turned and looked surprised.

"Huh...No, no not there!" He said pleading to Artsy...And spoke once more to him. "Please Artsy...I'll try again please!" The ghost said as Artsy replied.

Meanwhile the door the group entered was a stairway, however upon getting to the door to the next room, Paula soon noticed that there was a large hole preventing the group from reaching the door that leads down a black abyss. "Look's like we got an easy situation." Paula said as she looked at a chandelier hanging above the hole. "We could try swinging from that chandelier or just fly over the hole." Paula said to the group.

Before hearing growls coming from the hole, causing her to turn back towards It.

A giant hand soon appeared from the hole and punched the chandelier causing It to fall into the hole and also preventing Paula's first plan from going into motion...Or her second as the hand now blocked the door to the next room from the group, Paula looked on in confusion. "A giant hand...But, wha!?" Paula said confused as the Giant Hand underwent It's first attack, trying to slam into the group.

Tails walked into the room with Paula and Peach and looked down at the giant hole in the floor. Tails is lucky he chose to make a sleek design for the Tornado IV. He liked working with planes and to this moment that was beneficial... to have the agility to pass this chasm though he would need to jump out. The Tornado was a powerful machine but agile it was not.

Tails went down to press the eject button until he noticed movement from the giant hand. Tails looked in shock at how he almost made a grave mistake as the hand came down. Tails quickly made the Tornado IV put it's arms in a defensive position as he tried to guard against the strike.

The block did not accomplish very much as Tails flew backwards and landed on his back. Tails let out a pained groan before shaking his head to get back into the action. The Tornado IV back thrusters activated to help him swiftly get back up. That thing looked way too big to Bio Drain so he was just going to have to take it down the old fashioned way.

Tails decided to take advantage of the stunned state it seemed to have and activated the thrusters to fly at the hand He then performed a Thunder Slam attack by holding two arms in the air. The fists then proceeded to charge with electrical power. Tails then came soaring down with the fists of the Tornado IV in an attempt to knock the fist to the floor.

Peach eyed the hole as the sound of a growl startled her from her thoughts. "Oh!" the princess blurted out, recoiling as a giant hand rose to greet them. The hand slammed down...

...and Peach was swatted like a fly. A low, painful groan escaped her as she picked herself up, not having appreciated the beating in the least. She would step forward, becoming somewhat irritable at how she was treated. Peach would step forward and extend one of her hands into the air, generating a small heartsplosion from her palm at the giant hand.

Peach would huff, turning her gaze upon Paula. "I've got your back, Paula!" she reassured the smaller girl, channeling her vibe powers to bestow upon her--a healing bliss! Only after sparing a moment to heal the person she'd come here to protect after such a devistating attack did Peach feel comfortable returning her attention to the hand.

The hand moved It's fingers in glee when his starting attack managed to hurt the group...However he was still hurt by Paula's flame attack, but she was not the main focus right now, the other members of the group were, mainly Tails who was the first person other then Paula to attack him, the hand watched as the young fox tried to use thunder slam and a rocket fist on him, which he of course had to dodge since he really cant move in the hole he was In.

Paula meanwhile encouraged Tails attacks.

The Hand put It's knuckles in a fist as Tails managed to hit him with the thunder slam, however he saw his next attack coming and quickly dodged It, his attention was now turned towards Peach and Perry, who waited to see If they were going to do anything...And they did after the Princess shot a heartspolsion towards the hand. "Great job Peach!" Paula said as she watched and waited to see If the attack will take effect on the hand before the Princess used her healing bliss on her.

The hand screamed in pain after Peachs attack and pointed a finger at the group...For some reason, Peach soon used her healing bliss on Paula, which successfully worked. "Thanks you again for your kindness Peach." Paula said as she turned towards the hand, who was about to do his next attack which was to slam the group into the nearby wall.

"Another hand like attack incoming."

Tails was a little disheartened his missle missed but the Thunder Slam landed well... The hand was not paralyzed though so that luxury was not here. Still, it seemed to be quickly weakening which was a major plus at least. The hand was back on the attack however and Tails did not want Peach getting hurt so much. She was not as durable as his mech after all.

Tails quickly jumped out of his mech as it quickly converted back into it's portable form. "And I got your's! Going up!" Tails then flew above Peach and quickly lifted Peach into the air if she let him. Tails would then sit Peach back down before jumping onto the ground. Tails then took out a Chu² Bomb and placed it on the ground to set it up for combat. "This ought to catch it by surprise," Tails said before getting back to fighting. Hopefully the hand will smash and blow up the bomb on himself by mistake.

That was, of course, a very good reason in her eyes.

The princess would deftly backpedal away from the attack before abruptly lunging into the air to chase the hand. "Hold still, mister hand!" she crooned, seeming to poke fun at the enemy before jumping over it. Curling her legs up against her, Peach shifted Perry below her and his canopy began glowing. "This might give you a real hand-ache!" Perry quipped cheekily, as the duo attempted to blast the hand against the ground.

Paula watched as the hand crashed into the wall, not taking anyone with him in the process, she almost felt bad for it, but then again It was attacking them so she shook that off of her mind. "He's about to attack, quickly attack him before he does so back." Paula said to her team as they fired there attacks towards the giant hand, starting with Tails and his bombs as the fox worried that it will be punched back over to him, the hand meanwhile actually tried to grab onto It...If It doesn't explode on him first.

The hand did grab onto Tail's bomb...But soon squeezed It too hard while trying to throw back to the group and It soon exploded on It, dealing damage, however before he could have time to recover, Peach unleashed her own attacks on the hand as Paula simply watched and Perry did a handy pun, Paula noticed the hand was twitching, a sign that this battle will end soon with the victory being there's.

"It's not going to last long at this rate...Peach might be able to finish It off."

The Hand suddenly twitched crazily as It fell forward due to the last waves of attacks the group did, once he fell his hand opened up and formed into a bridge for the group to cross towards the door to the next room. "Great job everyone...We can enter the next room now, hopefully the Dinner Room's nearby." Paula said as she walked towards the hand and...Flew over Instead of walking over the newly formed corpse bridge. "Sorry...But you did block us from where were going." Paula said to the hand as she landed at the otherside and opened the door to the next room before entering.

"I wonder why It was there?"

Meanwhile once the group had left the room, Artsy's voice was heard...Grumbling. "Crap...Look's like whatever those Pig Mask's made while they were here temporarily did not stop them, and what's worse that smooth talking umbrella got away with a pun while defeating that Hand...I guess I have to go with plan B...

Make new paintings...Starring them."

The new room Paula and the group had entered seemed to be the foyer of the castle, beside Paula was the main door to the castle they saw earlier...However despite her attempts to open the door, It was still stuck. "I still cant open the front door from here...I wonder where this door leads to?" Paula said as she walked to the door to the left of the group and tried to open It...But It was locked and required a key...Wherever that could In this castle...Finally there was another door infront of the group...With the sound of classical music coming through It, Paula looked towards the door and spoke. "That door...Do you think that music Is coming from the dinner room?" Paula said to the group as she walked towards It and opened the door...Which leads into another old hallway with three doors this time.

The first door had light under It along with music, this one might be the Dinner room the Ant told Paula about, the next door was beside the first one...This one seem's dark and the door looked abandoned, finally the third and last door was at the end of the hallway and was like the second door...Dark and looked abandoned, so far Paula's interests were at the first door, which she walked towards and was surprised that It could open.

However when she looked inside...She gasped.

"Nobody's In here...But that Piano over there Is playing by Itself."

Tails watched as Peach easily took down the hand after he failed to throw the bomb back... As he should considering contact usually blew it up quite easily. Tails gave a small laugh at Perry's pun before the hand formed a bridge across... Tails decided to just fly across since he did not entirely trust that hand... Even when it appeared to be defeated by their strikes.

There was a door that seems it would lead back to where they came from. A looked door that held some interest probably. The last door had what sounded like piano music... Which worried Tails for a second. Tails steeled himself as Paula opened the door... and just as he thought the piano was playing itself... "Maybe it's one of those self playing pianos," Tails suggested, more to comfort himself than anything.

Peach would step forward, leaning over the new ... corpse bridge speculatively. It seemed rather rude to walk on something or someone like that, but something told her the hand wouldn't feel it anymore. And if it was, well... Perhaps it would teach the hand a lesson for being so rude! Huff. Peach reluctantly walked across the bridge, holding her head high and her parasol higher. "You should be nicer to children, Mister Hand..!" Peach would lecture in an I-Told-You-So tone. Even if you an evil hearted monster had to recognize the power of Mama Bear and act accordingly.

Following Paula loyally, Peach emitted a worried sigh. It seemed like they might actually be in a bit of a pickle! She reassured herself by reminding herself that this was why she was here. Where would Paula be without her? Where would Tails be without her? ...Probably not in a better place, that was for sure. Clearly she had made the right decision in coming to their aid. "I wonder if that trick to open a lock with a bobby pin actually works..?" Peach mused aloud. The bobby pin, one of a girl's many best friends. She was distracted from her thoughts by a self-playing piano, however.

The idea was a little spooky, however, but that tune... That wasn't a spooky tune! That was a beautiful song! Peach would follow Paula into the first room, heading over to the piano and leaning over it to inspect it for a moment. "What a pretty song..." she mused aloud.

As the piano suddenly stopped playing due to the arrival of Peach and once she finished...It spoke. "Hey...I was playing here!" A brooklyn like voice was heard beside Peach as the voice revealed Itself...It was another ghost and he looked angry at Peach for suddenly taking his piano spotlight. "Did you have any idea how long It took me to practice this song...Five Hundred Years...Thank god that fire killed me." The ghost said as Paula took a step back away from the ghost. "Ok...I think we might of went in the wron---However before Paula close finish, the door slammed behind her and another ghost...This time smaller revealed himself to the group.

"Nuh-ah, your not going anywhere!" He said as he took out a small key and tried to eat It...Only to fall through him and onto the floor. "Oops." The ghost said as yet another voice revealed Itself, this time It sounded like a woman and she seemed to be angry at the smaller ghost. "Sally Dalton, don't scare mortals...You do know they have a heart system which will screw up If spooked hard enough." The ghost said who turned out to be a tall one like the one by the piano, soon more ghosts revealed Itself, some holding foods, others holding Wine, they all looked at Paula, Tails, Peach and Perry as the young ghost sighed. "Sorry mom...And don't call me Sally, the other ghosts...Especially ones at the Princess's old bedroom make fun of me for It." he said as he floated behind his mother.

Paula looked at the other ghosts who seem friendly. "Well you seem all friendly...Which clans were you all in?" Paula said to the ghosts as they all said "Fusho." Before moving aside to make way for two other ghosts...

The once living King and Queen Fusho.

"Good Night mortals, we roam this old castle due to the curse that has stricken It." The King said as the Queen sighed and spoke again. "Basically after we died we all turned into ghosts...Unlike the previous clan who lived here who just passed on to the afterlife...So anyway, welcome to the castle...Were you invited to this party also? I swear we didn't send invites to mortals, we cant even leave this castle." The Queen said as Paula's eyes stopped being widen and spoke again. "Were here looking for two objects...The Sanctuary Stone and the Great Grandfathers Diary...We expect It to be found In a giant vault somewhere in the castle...Do you know where It Is?" Paula said to the Queen who happily replied.

"Ahh yes, but by vault you mean the Castle vault located just by the locked door in the foyer?" She said curious as the question also made Paula curious. "Locked door? I think so." Paula said as she now sounded confused, giving way for the Queen to speak more about the vault.

"Let me explain...Since my Husband Is busy doing a manzai act at the end of the room now."

The King and Queen of the Fusho clan watched patiently as there most valuable object of the clan...The Egg of Light was busy being sent to the vault of there newly moved into castle, one of the workers that carried It almost tripped as he lifted the egg into the vault. "Be careful...That egg is very important!" The King said as the Queen simply sighed. "What's wrong?" He said to his wife who turned and spoke to her husband.

"Do you think what they said was true...Is this part of the Island really cursed?" The queen said as the King tried to reassure her. "Hey...Dont worry, we can overcome this...Unlike the other clan who used to own this castle...Besides If anything were to happen...Then the Egg of Light will be safely In this vault that can only be open by doing a traditional dance." The King said as the Queen was confused at the dance. "I still don't know how exactly that you do It." She said as the King just stood in front of her.

"Simple really...Watch."



"After the odd dance number...We headed upstairs to prepare a celebration of moving into this castle...Unfortunately one of the cooks accidentally burnt there hands while carrying a stu, causing It to fall and light a nearby cloth on fire, soon after most of the dinner room was up in flames...However our only exit was that door behind you which was blocked by a fallen suit of armour just beside It...Nobody and I mean nobody in the room was strong enough to lift It and so we met out painful and burnt demise soon after."

"Oh...I'm sorry to hear about your sad story...Apart from that dance part." Paula said as she realised that the dance could help the group when they finally reach the vault...The only problem Is that they need a key to get to said Vault...Which they still don't know where It Is. "But now we know how to open the vault...We just need to get to It, do you know where the key Is?" Paula said to the Queen which caused all of the ghosts to gasp.

"Yes...We do know who has the key...Artsy, the feared artist in this castle."

The Queen continued to speak some more about the owner to the Vault Room key. "You see, he was a famous painter who started working for us just before we moved to this Island...Although my Husband didn't seem to notice, he was acting all weird in his work room, when It came for moving to the Island he brought along his girlfriend, the strict Camilla White...They also died at the party, but now occupy the room just beside this one...I'm actually surprised that he didn't try and get you out of this castle...He usually does this to Mortals who stumbled here...Especially those Pig Mask people." The Queen said...The last part made Paula suddenly interrupt her.

The Queen said as Paula gasped and sadly spoke..."Yes..." Paula said as she sadly looked down in the floor...Having no chance of leaving with the two objects they were looking for now. Paula suddenly looked up, her eyes widened. "Pokey Minch...Why would he want the Diary? What Is so special about the diary...But does that mean he's...Around LI?" Paula said sounding curious as the Queen spoke some more. "But...The stone you want Is still in the vault, you just need to see Artsy and get the key off of him...But beware, him and Camilla are hard to convince giving anything to mortals like you." The Queen said as Paula quickly turned towards the door and opened It. "Thank you Queen Fusho, and I hope you enjoy the party...Let's go team, look's like were going to face two ghosts up ahead..." Paula said as she left for the next door to face Artsy and Camilla.

Tails held out a hand as Peach suddenly started walking into the Piano Room to play the Piano. "W-wait!" Tails requested before running after her. They did not even know if it is a trap. Why would she want to play the piano at a time like this anyway?!

Tails stopped as a disembodied voice spoke by the piano. That was a bit unsettling for the young two tailed fox. And then a smaller ghost slammed the door which made Tails given an involuntary, "Wah!" He really wished the tall guy said there was going to be ghosts so he could of at least been prepared for this. He really did not like spirits at all... Not in the Ancient Pyramid, not in the dark castles, they were never good for him.

Tails breathed a sigh of relief when the woman ghost scolded the boy. At least they were friendly ghosts... That made it a little bit better despite him shaking a bit. He was still frightened quite a bit as ghosts were one of the few things he truly feared. He was going to let Paula talk for him since he knew all that would probably come out were heavily shaky words.

It would seem being bound to this place was a part of the curses. The sudden castle fire did sound really unfortunate for them... and made Tails a bit sorry for being frightened. Tails did not break his silence until he heard something about Pokey and Pig Mask Soldiers... "... Pokey Minch? He was in the Life Sphere for some time. I am not entirely sure what he is doing now... But he did have a factory on Li.... But I thought he would leave that place abandoned after all the horror stories that goes on about that place... Not sure why it would be brought there but it might still be there. That place tends to not be scavenged often because of all the strange things that make their home there," Tails informed.

After Tails spilled his knowledge, he suddenly realized their next goal... Needing to confront a hostile ghost for a key to the vault... "... I-I guess we have no choice. We came all this way and we can't exactly turn back. Guess we need to go see that Artsy guy..." Tails stated, trying hard but somewhat failing to completely hide the fear in his voice. It was more so to reassure himself than anyone else. Still, he had to follow Paula and Peach to go get that key. It just had to be ghosts, didn't it?

Peach looked up from what she was doing, only to just kinda get stunned into silence as a ghost ... celebrated it's terrible death. O-Oh, wow. That was morbid. Distressing, even. Seriously, what?! The princess decided to distract Perry by pulling him down and hugging him. Nah. The 8 year old didn't need to hear whatever was coming next. Regardless, the princess listened to the ghost's story. She couldn't help but feel terrible on their behalf. These sorts of things ought not to happen. ...Upon further observation, it was revealed that they hadn't come to the right place. Peach could just feel Paula's disappointment, but knew not what to say. Perhaps she would have the opportunity to accompany the other to this 'factory'. It didn't sound like the sort of place a child should be left alone.

She would smile at the queen as she was complimented on her playing, however. "Why thank you, Miss. It was a beautiful song. I'm Peach, by the way!" she would reply, Perry squeezing himself free of the princess grasp on cue. "And I'm Perry--Perry the parasol!" he interjected. Before Peach could really get to know her new ghost friends, Paula was calling for them to move. Welp.

Peach also noticed Tails' fear, and moved to hug him comfortingly as she spoke. "I do hope I'll have another chance to meet you all." she would apologize. "But I must keep an eye on Miss Paula!" Peach went on before releasing Tails from her embrace and moving to lead him in following Paula. Welp. Time to find the spooky artist!
