Paula said as she entered the hotel...Yado...Motel while Peach and Perry were behind her, It seem's they were going to follow her, It was a good idea but they could of covered more ground when they were separate...It was probably a good thing to.

Because she was behind them...

Between the two large houses in the village, a dark figure stood there silently...Watching the four go to the two destinations, she sighed before turning and walking off, her face still not being seen in the darkness, It was unknown what the female figure was going to do If the four saw her, but It seem's she'll be back later.

And this time...She'll make her presence known...

Meanwhile in the bazaar, the relatively small bazaar, there was nothing to note here...Except of a sign lieing on the counter In front of Tails, beside the counter was a dark, wooden and rotten door that looked like It could break any minute and further beside the door were shelf's...And they were best to check out as they had interesting objects.

Such as....

A Basball Bat, A flea charm and powder and finally an crown, Tail's can either look at the objects or outright steal them, check the door, leave or check out the mysterious sign on the counter, whatever he chooses It better be wisely...Those items look awesome to have...In fact If Tail's listened closely he could hear a happy female robotic voice coming from the shelf's.

"Take It...You know you want to."

"I don't think people live here anymore Peach, they would of made there presence known...There starvia presence due to the fact that the air has reached this Island It seems."

Meanwhile in the hotel, Yado or Inn as It like's to be called, Paula along with Peach and Perry were standing infront of a counter and beside It was a hall that would lead to six doors with the same colour...Brown, It seems this village had an obsession with the colour along with Pink as they were pink decorations lieing about the room, Paula soon caught on to the burnt path of ash's leading to one of the rooms nearest to the trio. "Odd..." Paula said as she bent down to look at the burnt path.

"I wonder who burnt this floor part of the hotel...Or Yado or what not." Paula said looking to Peach and Perry before walking toward's the door before quickly looking back at Peach and Perry as Paula pushed the door open...And was surprised to see that It did open. "I'm going to check out this room...Try and see what you can find in the counter nearby you two, I'll be back in a few seconds." Paula said as she entered the bedroom to find out the source of the burnt path.

Meanwhile at the front desk of the Yado, a yellow letter can be seen unopened, It seemed that whoever wrote It worked in this hotel as there was a pink stamp and a pen lieing beside the letter on each side respectfully...Maybe the letter could help the group find Osoho? There were also barrels of drinks behind the counter.

Or maybe the room Paula was now in.



Paula walked towards the bed of the room after noticing the path stopped there and inspected it. "It stopped?" Paula thought as she noticed a small open window beside the bed, she quickly on It but stood up again after noticing It was...Lumpy. "That's strange...Is there something in there?" Paula thought as she grabbed onto the pulled It off the bed to find the source of the lumpiness.

And found a collar.

Paula grabbed onto the collar and looked at the inside of It...And noticed It had bit's of electricity still sparking out, she quickly dropped the collar after noticing the collar and worried she would get shocked. "Who would have such a thing in this hotel? Maybe that was what was causing the path to be made." Paula thought as she kicked the collar under the bed, not wanting to look at It, she quickly turned and left the room after finding nothing else, hearing sounds of of electric as she left.

"I feel sorry for the poor person that had to wear that." Paula thought...Unaware that the last person who wore that collar...Was a poor Monkey, she entered the halls again and looked towards Peach and Perry, wondering If they found something.

"Found anything you two?"

Tails nodded to Paula's suggestion to call for help if he needed some. "You too," Tails replied as he went to the Bazaar. Paula should be safe with Peach. Tails walked to the shop and pushed it open and coughed a bit as his nose was met with dust and dampness. The room looked pretty decayed and worn down which was to be expected. He walked into the room and looked around. The counter had no one there which was to be expected in a ghost town. There was a few shelves with items still left unsurprisingly. There was also a sign he noted in the back of his mind. There was also a very worn down door inbetween that he felt best not to stare at too long. Much more productive to take care of business and get out to regroup.

Tails walked over tho the shelves and looked at all the four items. There was a decent condition baseball bat that looked usable for a weapon. This was of no real concern however as Tails was not really into sports and he had tools much more fitting to his battle style. He only really participated in them because Sonic asked him to compete with him and it's not like he can refuse an offer like that from his best friend. Next there was some kind of charm that looked like those things people made to ward off ghosts. Tails was not really the superstitious type so this really held no meaning to him. There was some kind of powder that seemed to be used to help itches, probably those caused by fleas. A bit more useful but not really worth taking from a 'cursed' town. Finally there was a crown that looked very rare and noble. This was probably the most interesting item on the shelves if not just for the fact it seemed out of place. Tails did not really feel like wearing it though and it was not even made of good material for spare parts... But was there something more off?

Tails did not really notice anything out of the ordinary. The creepy robotic voice seemed to have gone unnoticed by the two tailed fox. Either way, nothing on the shelves held much interest to the young nerd. He decided that the only thing outside the door worth investigating was the sign. Since the sign was right over on the counter, he walked over to it and tried to make out what was on it.

Peach's heart began to race as she watched the rather ominous trail leading to that one room. She was heavily tempted to decline to wait behind, just based on the fact that that was clearly a trap. She would reach up with her free hand as if to still her heart, however. She had to remind herself not to baby the other girl. As much as she really wanted to, Paula was a bit too independent and she suspected the other wouldn't appreciate the excessive protectiveness. "Alright..." Peach replied softly, oblivious to any stalkers in the area. She began to look around, picking up the letter and inspecting it.

Perry would notice the drinks. "Hey Peach?" he asked. "What is it, Perry..?" Peach replied curiously, following Perry's gaze. "Oh, I see." she replied. It seemed that they were thirsty. Peach would move over to the barrels, lowering Perry to the barrel. The parasol opened his mouth wide, but rather than attempting to take a drink out of the barrel he simply ... ate the barrel. Peach's eyes widened as the subtle taste of wood graced her taste buds, a frown crossing her face. Noticing this, Perry smiled meekly. "...Sorry~" he remarked. "It's alright..." Peach replied softly. She would move towards the room Paula had wandered off towards, meeting her as she re-emerged.

The princess would present the letter she had taken. "I found this!" she replied, offering the letter to Paula. She honestly wasn't sure whether it was worth investigating, so she left the choice up to the younger girl.

"Huh, a letter?" Paula said as Peach offered the letter to Paula, she took It and opened It, looking at It's contents before looking back at Peach and Perry. "It was written by someone called Tessie to another person called...Hinawa?" Paula said as she began to read the letter to Peach and Perry.

That was a great daily bakesale in Tazmily village yesterday, everyone was sure stuffed by the apple pie and cookies you offered us, I don't think I ever saw Betsy this stuffed in my entire life! We also raised enough to fix the roof in our yado, we couldn't of done It without your support Hinawa, without you the village could crumble without your words of wisdom!

Oh Hinawa, your like a big sister to me...The one I never had, your lucky to have a great man like Flint in your life and two son's, Lucas and Claus are the cutest and greatest boys I have seen on this island yet...I wonder If I'll have children when I marry Jackie...Oh right, we kinda saw eye to eye while carrying Betsy to her room last night...Do you think It means...Were in love?

Anyway I heard you were taking Lucas and Claus to see your father in the more country side of the island, where the drago's live, I hope come back onto for this week's bakesale, It will be sad If you didn't but take your time on seeing your father, we wont be going anywhere!

Paula got rid of the small fire ignited from her finger tip as a source of light and noticed the name...Lucas. "Lucas...I heard that name before, I guess he lived here...Tazmily Village." Paula said to Peach and Perry as she walked to a window nearby the counter and looked out of It...Before noticing a house at a nearby hill...Could It be possible that Hinawa, Lucas...And this Claus and Flint lived up there prehapes? Maybe It could help the group find out more about Osoho.

Paula turned toward's Peach and Perry before speaking again, placing the letter back on the desk.

"We should go, I think this letter really was helpful, there's a house on a hill we need to look at that might help us find Osoho, let's head to the bazaar to get Tails."

Speaking of Tails.

Upon inspecting the sign, It reads.

The sign was confusing, unless you managed to decipher what It meant, just then the nearby rotten door suddenly started to make a cracking sound, It was a sign that the door was about to fall over, revealing what was inside, Tail's could let It fall or stop it and open the door himself.

The sign was a bit confusing at first but it was fairly easy to decipher.... at least to understand the message. It says to Not Steal.... because there are mouse traps on the shelves, maybe? How had he not noticed those? You would think he would... then again, Tails did not have the best vertical advantage in the world. Maybe he was just not tall enough to see them fully.

Tails did hear something this time. There was some kind of voice here that seemed to be speaking to him... It was really hard to hear... but it wanted him to steal the items on the shelves for some reason. Then the cracking sound made itself known and the fox looked to the door. It appeared to be breaking down now... Whether that was because of the old age or something else was hard to tell. Tails jumped back and held his hand out as a bright yellow glow consumed it. A Yellow and Red Arm Cannon then appeared on Tails's hand as he pointed at the door. He waited for something to jump out. If it seemed safe, he would put his arm cannon to his side, if not, he would keep pointing.

Something didn't sit right with Peach about the situation. Reading someone else's letters... Scandalous! She watched Paula with mild concern evident in her eyes. What path was the little one going down, reading other people's mail like that? First you were reading their mail, next thing you knew you were reading their diaries! The thought sent a shiver down Peach's spine. ...Then again there was that one time she got ahold of Bowser's diary. Peach's eyes shifted off into space.

She supposed Paula must have her reasons, after all. She just hoped she didn't stand to regret this leap of faith. She returned her attention to the smaller girl as she finished reading the letter...

"Alright!" Peach replied. That hadn't taken too long! And it was a good thing, too, because she was starting to have a funny feeling in her tummy. Not the good kind of funny, but the I accidentally consumed an entire barrel full of hard cider funny. It was a foreign sensation to Peach, and so she attempted to ignore it... for now. The princess would move to lead Paula back outside, glancing at her thoughtfully. "What do you think awaits us at Osoho..?" she wound up asking softly as she casually made her way in the direction of the bazaar in search of Tails.

"I'm...not sure actually." Paula said to Peach as she thought about what would of happened when the group finally does get to Osoho, Perry will most likely be knocked out since he does not look well, in fact he looked so sick that Paula got worried for the umbrella. "Is Perry...Doing ok?" Paula said to Peach as she waited for Peach to check on Perry just in case, she would have time anyway since they were now in front of the bazaar.

"Were here...I hope Tail's found something that could help us."

Meanwhile inside the Bazaar Itself, Tails waited for the door to finally collapse, and once It did this was what was inside the room the door fell from.





Nothing jumped out at Tail's, more so just stood there, another mannequin was found in the room which turned out to be a very small closet, nothing else of interest was in the closet other then the stylish female mannequin...Who's eyes were now looking at Tails, soon Paula entered the bazaar to check on her friend. "Hey Tail's...Found anything? Except for that mannequin?" Paula said to Tails as she looked away at the Mannequin so she could focus more on her friend.

"If there's nothing here then we should go...We found a house were going to investigate ne---

"AHHH!"

"Huh?" Paula said as she looked up...To notice the mannequin was now on the floor...Headless as her head was slowly rolling toward's Tails feet, Paula was unsure who made that scream, but she was starting to get freaked out from the building she was in.

"Ok...We should we go to the house I mentioned...Now."

Tails watched as the door fell and revealed what was inside... A single mannequin for some odd reason... But something was off here. What was it doing so close to the door? That seemed an odd place to set a mannequin... in addition, the art house was a bit more understandable than here... There was something about these mannequins that held some major importance, he was just not sure what.


Still, he pointed his arm cannon at the mannequin as he slowly stepped back until he heard Paula come in. Tails was about to answer Paula until he heard a scream and crash and a rolling sound to see the mannequin fall and her head roll off... That was the same voice that he heard that felt like it was trying to tempt him into taking the items from the shelves. Tails stepped back faster before turning around and sprinting for the door, "I agree..."


Tails looked to Paula outside as he caught his breath from focusing on the mannequin. Tails figured it may be a good idea to tell them what he thinks he discovered on the Mannequin. He was not 100% sure it was the mannequin but it was the best guess he had right now. "I feel like that mannequin was trying to get me to take the items from the store for some reason... Or at least someone was... I think there is more to this story the tall guy told us than a death curse," Tails hypothesized as he followed Peach and Paula to the house they were talking about.

Peach would turn to inspect Perry, but vision swam and the sensation of a cramp from her belly distracted her. The princess would take a deep breath, attempting to calm herself. No matter how much she was hurting on the inside, she had to keep calm. In spite of Princess Peach's efforts, however, it wouldn't take a genius to notice she wasn't quite acting normal. The princess seemed sluggish and a tad unfocused. Her movements were a lot less confident and springy than normal.

But what were these feelings? Had she been poisoned? Was she... dying? She hoped not. That would probably be very upsetting for the girl she'd come here to protect. More importantly, she was too young to die! ...Peach quelled her panic. She didn't want to scare the children, after all.

"I don't feel so good." Perry replied. "Oh, Perry... Why don't you rest for a while? Peach replied softly, stowing Perry amongst her person. "He'll be alright, after a good rest." she would go on to reassure Paula. She wasn't entirely sure about herself, but she knew poison probably didn't do much to umbrellas. Perry must've been feeling Peach's own discomfort. That would explain it.


Peach would enter the bazaar with Paula, rather oblivious to what was going on around them up until the point a scream jolted her from her thoughts. Peach looked up and around defensively, but was unable to comprehend what was going on.

...However, she wasn't too impaired to notice that Paula was getting a bit upset by all of the creepiness going on in this place. Peach would bend down and gently take Paula's hand. It was clear to her that someone or something was here, and she wanted to make sure they couldn't steal her charge away from her. The princess would offer one of her hands to Tails as well. She wasn't really sure how old he was, because he wasn't human and that made it pretty difficult to tell, but he did seem kind of small. Perhaps he would appreciate the gesture.

"Good idea." she would remark softly.

...Regardless, Peach would waste little time in turning tail to lead the group out of the bazaar. She didn't even look over her shoulder. Nope to that house. Nope to the yado. Maybe to the house on the hill. She would continue on her way towards the house on the hill. Normally she would be more alert, but her mind was dull and doing this was already demanding her full concentration. "This is the one, right Paula..?" Peach would wind up asking. If Tails had refused her hand, she would point at the house on the hill. Otherwise, she would just sort of trust that Paula understood she was referring to the house directly in their path.1d20+5

As Paula and Tails now joined by Peach and Perry were leaving the bazaar, Tails started to get suspicious of the mission and thinks that Leder had led the group on. "I'm not sure, maybe there will be a positive outcome at the end of this and we'll get the diary and sanctuary stone," Paula said as she noticed Peach quickly grabbed her hand after noticing that she looked scared there at the mannequin that screamed, well everyone was freaked out at that moment and nobody seems interested In finding out the scream, so they went to the house on the hill In hope's that It will help them find Osoho.

As the group walked to the house, Paula quickly lets go of Peach's hand as they were walking and noticed that the Princess was starting to act weird, she stopped after noticing this. "Are you ok Peach? You and Perry now look sick, want to take a break?" Paula said as Peach pointed out a house nearby and wondered If that was the house the group was looking for.

"Fit's the description, let's check It out, hopefully, they're some clues to Osoho up here," Paula said to Tails as she looked at Peach and Perry. "And maybe there will be a bed where you can temporarily rest." She said to the two as she walked towards the house and hill until she was standing in front of It, the house did not look decayed but some of the brown paint looked like It was coming off. "Nice house...And It seem's that Hinawa and the rest of her family had a dog as well, and more animals." Paula said as she walked to the dog house and looked at the name, Boney. "Boney...What a cute name." Paula said to the group as she walked to the front door of the house.

"Is this door locked?" Paula said as she tugged on the doorknob...And watched as it fell back, allowing the group to enter. "What's with doors falling all over the place tonight," Paula said as she was unsure whether to enter. "I know this might be a home invasion, but nobody seems's to live in here now," Paula said as she entered the house to check out a few things.




"Oh look two beds...Double beds for some reason." Paula said as she looked at the beds before looking at the group. "Time to look around yet again...I hope this does not lead to a dead end." Paula said to the group as she decided to look at the drawer near the fireplace, there were other things that everyone can inspect, mainly the drawers beside the bed, the blue pillow on the bed, under the bed and finally, the table, shelf beside the fireplace or the fireplace Itself, there's also the option to look outside for any clues.

But right now let's check the drawer.

Paula tried to open It but found It was jammed. "Come on..." Paula said as she pulled on the drawer to try and open It and see what was inside.

After much hardship, Paula fell on the floor with the drawer in hand. "I didn't expect to pull It out," Paula said to the group as she placed the drawer box back to its original place...But not before noticing something inside It...

Paula contemplated whether to open the box or not...After some quick decision, she decided to open the box to check to see If there were any clues to Osoho, she opened the box slightly to take a little peek at It, she didn't want to invade privacy even If Hinawa or her family did not live here anymore, she saw another letter inside the box that reads...

"Dear Flint, you were great I---

She quickly closed the box and placed It back into the drawer before looking at everyone else.

"So...Found anything?"

Tails was not so worried of a positive outcome as he was the fact there was something here he did not mention. Sure, he kept plenty of things from them... But there was things happening here that just did not seem... right. This whole place had much more to it than some 'death curse'. He just was not sure what that was as he followed Peach and Paula.

He noticed then that Peach seemed very ill for some reason. He never seen anyone act in such a weird way... Then again... He heard of substances that cause people to not act right... Did she take some on accident... Regardless, Tails took Peach's hand as she offered just to avoid her falling over from dizziness. "Are you alright?"

Tails followed the two blondes in pink to a house located by a really steep cliff. There looked to be a holding pin for animals and a dog house for their pet. It reminded him of Ecto but he did not really need Ecto's help at this moment.

Tails stepped over the door as Paula knocked it down and looked around the room. It was time to get looking for some kind of clue. Tails decided if there was anything he should check it should be the shelves by the fireplace that looked like one shelf had books or something like that. With that in mind, Tails walked over to the shelves to inspect them, using her flight if necessary.

Princess Peach would lead the two towards the house. Being able to hold their hands cheered her up. "Yeah... I'm alright. Just a little--...Tired." Peach replied. It was the truth, but not the entire truth. She couldn't sleep now! It would hurt her to have to be a burden to the children she'd come to protect. When Peach stopped before the door of this mysterious house she found herself slipping away from consciousness, however. Such was her level of intoxication that she never even noticed when she began falling asleep. Her grip became very weak, slipping from the other two's. Finally, when the door came crashing down so too did Peach. The princess just sort of fell forward in a bodily manner, her crown spilling forth onto the floor.

It wasn't the most comfortable place or position to take a nap.

When Tails inspected the shelf, all he would find was a vase and family photos beside them, unfortunately It's no use looking at them since there dirty and you can barely see the people in the photos, although it seem's to be a photo of two adult figures, two young figures and a figure that looked like a brown dog, there was also something else at the end of the shelf.



It was a figure of a deer, upon closer inspection it turned out to be a wind up music box, should Tails wind up the music box he would hear a nice relaxing quiet song...Which was this.




Paula watched Peach and Perry slump infront of her and Tails looking tired, maybe they drunk something at the Yado, either way they need some sleep...For a little bit. "Oh my." Paula said as she tried to lift Peach to the nearby bed so they can take a little nap while she and Tails look around the house.

"I think...I got It."

Lifting Peach was hard, while getting Perry onto the bed was more...Easier since he was an umbrella. "That's those two done...For now, hopefully they'll awaken more better then before." Paula said as she looked at Tails wondering If he had found anything about Osoho...Anything at all. "Found anything?" Paula said sounding sad, she soon sighed before looking at the light that was shining into the room from the dark sky due to the door falling earlier.

"I'll go check outside." Paula said as she walked outside to look around the front part of the house, when she realised that she didn't find anything, she sighed at the realization...That the mission has reached a dead end...Maybe they should head back to the Life Sphere...Unless Tails found something, Peach and Perry would barely move now and the group were just running into false hope, Paula looked at the night sky and wondered If Leder really was setting them up to a cursed place like this...So far Tail's might be right.

"No...Your on the right track."

"Huh?" Paula looked around after hearing the voice, before rubbing her head, the voice sounded oddly like Leder...Was she really hearing things? As Paula removed the hands from her face...She saw it...Just by the trees.

"Tails come out quick I think I found It...Osoho castle!"

Tails looked at the shelf as there seemed to be nothing of real importance on the shelves. There was pictures of a family that lived here and.... wait... That one boy looked familiar somehow... Then it came to Tails who it might be. "... Lucas?" Tails asked himself as he looked at the picture. So this island was where Lucas from the Subspace Emissary came from? That raised quite a few questions now that he had come to that conclusion.

The music box played a relaxing melody and Tails looked to Peach. Paula carried her to the bed after she passed out it would seem. Tails must not of noticed because he was thinking about Lucas... He has not heard about Lucas since the war with the Subspace armies... He hoped he was alright... Lucas was actually a major ally of Ness during the Subspace War now that he thinks about it... Maybe Paula might want to know that.

Tails came back to attention when he heard Paula's voice. She must of went outside and found the castle from the sounds of it. Tails gave a quick look at Peach to make sure she was okay before running outside to Paula. "This seems to be Lucas's house. He must of lived here before he helped Ness in the fight against the Subspace Armies," Tails said. "You said you found the Castle? Where is it?... And what should we do about Peach..." Tails asked before realizing Peach taking a nap may be a problem. There was no telling what would happen if they left her alone... Tails waited for Paula's reply before thinking about something. "... Leder said this island was cursed... But Lucas was fine in the Subspace Emissary... What do you think that means?" Tails asked, though he was a bit stumped.

Meanwhile, Peach was all sorts of messed up back on that bed. If one returned, they would find Perry strategically placed to hide the goofy 'knocked right the heck out' look on her face. The parasol appeared to be awake, even if the princess was not.
