Metal man avoided the marble by tilting his head to the side, but was unfortunately pre-occupied with dodging so much, he was put right into glover's fist bonk, followed by the marble dunk, which left a might dent in the metal menace's head. "B-bzzt!! E-err....o...r.r......" Metal man said as his head was sparking, narrowing his eyes at Falco, in a fasion that he was gazing right back into the avian's eye through his plasma rifle's scope.

With falco's gun fire, Metal man's chest was pierced in a perfect orb shape, debris and shadow bugs flying out the back of metalman's now opened chest. Metalman fell to his knee's, as the conveyor's would finally, FINALLY, slow down to a crawl, as the original wily bot would power off.

As metal man was defeated, door's in the wall's of the factory would open, Some mettaur's with a Dr. Light L on there head's would fall out of them, along with some Motobug's. Seems these robots were the hostages this mission was made for. "A-ah, finally!" A motobug said, laughing as they clanged there little metal claws together in glee. They were saved...finally, no more conveyor belts...no more metal blade's...no more getting hit in the head by chunks of metal...It was the end...











OR WAS IT?!?!?!


Metalman raised his arm high into the sky as a button could be seen grasped in his ruined hand. "ILL T-TAKE YOU WITH ME!!!" The robot cried out, pressing the button in a last ditch effort to win this mission.

The conveyor belts went into high speed, practically breaking themselves in pure speed, as the alarm's rang loud with a clear message.

"SELF DESTRUCT IMMANENT, COUNTDOWN.... 5:00, AND COUNTING!"

A door at the far end of the room opened, revealing the immediate exit to the room, and the factory, as the mettaurs and Motobug's flew out the dor as fast as possible, there little metal squeal's loud as they got out.

Blaster at the ready Falco released a happy crow at the slowing of the conveyor belts. There was nothing ever so sweet as the stillness. Doors flying open across the room to reveal the robot hostages. For a second he thought they'd just gotten themselves into deeper trouble, feathered fingers tensing around the trigger. The cheery uproar instantly quelled the avian's worries. His trademark smirk spreading across his face as he stood up and holstered his sidearm.
"Piece of cake. Nothin' like a job well done!" he called out, eyeing Glover. Before he could give any further praise to the performance of his ally the mood was ruined; Metal Man raising a fist to the air.

There was a muttered curse from the ace pilot a moment before he was flung to the ground with the belts unexpectedly revving into high gear. His feet flew out under him and he fell face first into the rough black belt as it carried him away into a wall. Just barely Falco was able to move into a hurried crawl and avoid having his feet get caught as the belts circulated back down and around. In a rush of adrenaline the smash brother was racing toward the doors, making sure to check for Glover. Should the ball dancing glove require any assistance Falco would make an attempt at aiding him by nabbing him on the way by and hope that their combined sprinting would be well enough to get them both out. However, if Glover was too far away... Falco would rather not smell like a cooked chicken and would make a beeline out on his own.

Glover was glad they finally succeeded and freed the people that were held prisoner. Glover did a little dance before spinning the ball on his finger. It was finally over and now Glover could save his frien- the robot was still alive wasn't he? Glover could not believe he was still alive. Of course it was time for a countdown sequence why wouldn't it.

Glover fell to the ground as the conveyor belts were moving too fast for him to keep up on a ball. Glover had to think quick if he ever hoped to get out in time. He could not leave behind his ball at any cost, it was the thing that could help him save his friends... The ball! Glover looked down at the marbel as he got an idea. Glover floated for a few seconds before shooting his ball with a green magic blast.

The magic reflected off the ball and hit Glover much to his shock. The ball disappeared and Glover was left in his frog form from that one minigame. The clever glove knew how to work this however and used his skills from that one minigame to quickly hop past the sweetspots of the conveyor belts. Glover quickly hopped past Falco and out of the factory. Upon exiting, Glover reverted back into glove form and faceplanted as his ball reappeared and hit him on the back of the head. At least he escaped.

After Falco, Glover and the robotic hostages escaped, the factory would let out a loud squeal before erupting into a huge explosion, causing what remained to start raining down and hitting the wasteland around them. The helmet of metal man would whistle through the air, before hitting the ground right in front of Glover, not a head to be seen inside of the red armor.

It was finally over.

The robot's gleefully clapped, running around as they ran around Falco and glover, shaking hands and patting backs all around. They were happier than ever to finally be out of there!

"Hey, just asking, did you manage to get the metal from the factory?" A motobug asked, then looking to glover and rolling up to him, checking around the glove's body, before clapping "Aha! I scanned you, you guys have it! I'm sure li will be more than willing to give you guys a bonus for your work getting 'em!" The motobug said, as the rest of the hostages weren't gonna stick around to see if someone else was gonna catch them.

The smoke cleared from the refinery, leaving only chunks of conveyor belts, metal blade's and robotic skeletons in it's wake, along with some patches of fire that were busy smoldering some left over bots.

Finally. No more conveyor belts! The solid ground outside the factory was comforting beyond belief, the avian stopping beside Glover as he face planted. There was a brief amused huff that escaped the blue bird before he turned to witness the explosion of the factory. Surely that metal menace wasn't going to come back after that one. When the smoke cleared off a little, Falco coughing lightly as the blackened wisps floated by carried on the winds, that fact seemed to be confirmed. A smug grin washed across the ace pilot's face and he crossed his arms in triumph.

He stood by as the robot spoke with Glover about rewards and passed them out; Falco happily accepting despite having mindlessly tossed aside said metal bits he'd collected during the mission. It all worked out though didn't it? Now it was just up to get home. Glover could walk back with him or depart separately like everyone else seemed to do. He didn't really have much of a preference. With a wave and snappy word of departure he turned to head back to the Life Sphere.

Glover sighed a sigh of relief as the building behind them exploded in a blazing glory. He was soon startled however as the robot's decapitated head fell right in front of him. Glover was so startled he instantly jumped up, bounced his ball off him and landed on it in a Kung Fu Pose. Glover soon noticed however that the monster was dead and breathed a sigh of relief and dropped his fighting stance since he did not need to glove fu hardcore on someone... and most likely fail.

Glover gave a startled taken back pose as he suddenly noticed one of the robots scanning him. He breathed another sigh of relief in that the hunks of metal he was keeping was not worthless afterall. Glover was going to happily keep this reward as a win win for team Glove. Glover looked at the bag of dragonite in puzzlement as he tried to imagine what he would look like as a dragon. This brief moment of thought had him slip off his ball and land on the ground as he noticed Falco was walking off.

Glover felt a sense of respect for the coolness factor of the bird and already considered  him a good friend. Glover got on his ball and followed after the bird to follow him to the Life Sphere. They experienced so much together in their little time and Glover felt a close bold between him and the avian pilot. Glover hoped he could work with the super cool bird again sometime... with less conveyor belts.
