By some miracle, the reflected pellet managed to slide through the mettall's helmet, making it skid back a little from taken damage as he slammed his helmet down. The mettall looked up, its left eye blown out by its own pellet. The mettall then fired off another three pellet shot at the two, not having many other options for attack.

This round wasn't off to a great start for Falco and Glover, both of them sliding along the conveyor belt with the flow of metal parts. Luckily there was little activity going on from the enemy side. Falco raised himself to his knees and spotted his reflector unit, attempting to rush to his feet and snatch it but only found himself about to topple forward. Instead he turned the stumble into a sloppy leap toward his target. Now within reach the ace pilot picked up his reflector and set it back in place at his side.

As the next round of pellets flew through the air Falco found himself flat on his stomach among the metal bits. Unfortunately none were quite big or bulky enough to just hide behind, but rolling was still an option. It was a simple dodge, however the small pointy obstacles littering the conveyor belts proved an annoyance. Frowning, Falco gripped another metal piece and once again got to his knees. He reached for his pistol and lined up a shot at the stubby little robot; firing once ready. Then came the attempt to get back on his feet and away from the very near edge of the room.

Glover was back on his ball and balancing just fine again and feeling great! So great he jumped up and grabbed a piece of metal before landing on his ball with a look of triumph. Glover rolled over to the Metool and jumped over his pellet before landing behind his ball and holding it from behind before jumping over the metool with his ball in... hand... and bouncing it down onto the Metool before turning his attention to the Blockies. Hmm... How to deal with those... Ha! If they are a frog, they can not counter! It is risky given it is not guarenteed but it was worth a shot. Glover bounced into the air and aimed his finger at the blockies before firing green magic at both of them in the hope of turning them into frogs.

The metool once again attempted it's "Slam the helmet down before it hits trick", and surprisingly, it didn't work as once again, it took another blaster shot to the face, making the robot finally spark out, and explode into a power up any mechanical creature could pick up and supply his energy with, had they any special weapons to do so with.

The first magic orb of froginess hit the first blocky dead on, but, before the machine would get to his forg form, he managed to release his counter attack before poofing into a little metallic toad.

The second blocky managed to wiggled and shimmy his way out of the blast range, and it just...proceeded to be stationary.

SUB OBJECTIVE COMPLETE! You no longer need to make a metal piece grab roll, but so long as metal keeps falling, you will still need the second dex roll to avoid it landing on your head.1d20·1d20·1d20·1d20·1d20

As Falco took his first steps along the belt his head found a falling piece of junk. Staggered, he immediately moved a hand to rub the new sore and risked losing balance. Not quite tripping the avian managed to regain footing, reaching his free hand down in momentary anger to grab the metal bit. It was bound to happen eventually with the abundance of falling debris, just this entire area was starting to bug him with all its moving parts. What he would give to be up in the air right now bombing this place.

The ace pilot turned his gaze onto the remaining two enemies jiggling about on the conveyor flooring. With a smirk he hucked the piece of metal in his hand at the blocky that had been turned into a frog, then made his way back nearer the middle of the room since he was now at risk of being pinned against the wall. He considered how to go about the blockies. Perhaps it was only projectiles they countered to? Seemed a stretch but he really didn't want to see one of his lasers coming back at him if he fired his blaster. Finally deciding Falco adjusted his course to go in for melee. Maybe Glover will have them both as frogs by the time he got there; that would make everything simpler.

Glover falls back towards his ball but misses faceplants, and proceeds to have trouble getting back on his feet as he gets hit by a hot block. He tries to get back up despite the pain but then he gets slammed onto his back by a Blocky. Glover laid on his back, and waved a white flag, showing he has given up on getting up at the moment. He was just going to lay here and nap for a few seconds. He may also need to rethink his bad dexterity being a glove and all too. Glover laid there, refusing to get up until his next turn.1d20+3·1d20+3·1d20+3

The little blocky frog gave out a croak, before suddenly leaping high into the air, looking the metal piece flying at him. The frog the proceeded to perform a matrix style bullet dodge, time seeming to go slow-motion for the frog as the once-robot frog hopped on top of the chunk of metal, then leaping off of it, and sticking to its counter roots, flied through the air, aiming for falco with a flying frog judo kick...It obviously didn't work, as the frog simply fell on the ground with a "Rrrbit."


The other blocky shimmied over to glover, leaning over to look at the little guy. "..." The blocky remained silent.1d20

No magical beams were shot out at the other blocky to Falco's dismay. He didn't even get a chance to glance over to Glover to see if he was alright before the pilot went in to test his theory. He had high hopes having witnessed the amusing display of the little frog. Falco finished closing the distance and lunged into a roundhouse kick just below the blocky's middle section, attempting to hit a... joint.

Barely making a successful landing Falco followed up with one of his signature sweeping bird techniques, forgoing the second part and just focusing on trying to sweep the bottom block out from the enemy. As he finished his attack a block of metal managed to fall onto his arm causing minimal damage. However, with the hit Falco decided to keep low and allowed the conveyor belt to carry him away from the wiggly blocky, sitting his a crouched position as if ready to pounce. More likely just ready to dodge.

Glover finally feeling confident puts his fingers down and flips up and kicks a falling chunk of metal into orbit to show his new found confidence. Landing on his leg fingers, Glover looks up to the Blocky looking down at him. No one mocks Glover and gets away with it! He shall give this block man a piece of his mind by pounding him to bits! Grabbing his ball he thought for a second. Until now he has mostly been using ranged attacks on these guys, maybe they can't counter melee, well, it was worth a shot at least.

Glover held the ball on one finger and spun it to change its appearance and quality until it reached the iconic Rubber Ball form. Glover then sat the Ball down on the ground and then jumped onto it and then used its rubbery texture as a trampoline to propel himself above the Blocky before balling up into a fist and then slamming down, slamming through it from above.

Glover was about to continue with a kick until he a weird wizard hat with eyes appeared in his mind's eyes. "No, Glover, you can not kick the enemy. You have no move for kicking, all your other moves are ball related except the frog one," Glover gave a sigh at the imaginary wizard hat before jumping onto his ball and going for ramming the blocky instead.

Glover's lack of skill again made him lose his motivation all over again so he sat on the ball and poked the air as if it was the ground.1d20+3·1d20+3·1d20+2·1d20+3

The metallic frog croaked lightly as suddenly he poofed back into a disinterested shuffling robot the robot shuffled away from the two as they seemed to gang up on his poor brother, sir blockington the sixth.

Fortunately for the group, it seems that there melee theory's have been proven true, as falco's little roundhouse on the hard metal body of the shimmying robot cause the machine damage, but returned with very little resistance. Now it was only a matter of them dodging and the attacks hitting.

And like  that, the following hit from falco's combo managed to make the machine flash a little, before exploding, leaving the blocky to its doom.


The second blocky blinked, swaying over to his lost brother's remains, only to be in the path of glover.

Rubber ball slam managed to catch the blocky on the top of its blocks, making the top of the robot crunch a little like a soda can

Though, glovers ram was not so lucky, ad the blocky swayed out of the way of the glove.

His kick beautifully sweeping through and proving his theory right brought a wide grin to his face. Falco quietly congratulated himself as he watched the explosion while being carried back by the conveyor belt, which gave Glover plenty of space to unleash fury on the remaining blocky. Of which also seemed to go very well. Finally! This fight was turning around to their favor and soon they'd be able to resume chasing after that dancing robot. The ace pilot could hardly wait to tell the red menace just how much he liked these moving floors.

With a distracted mind the avian went to stand but quickly found himself back in a kneel having once again misjudged the flow of the belt beneath him. After a half angry mutter and tilt of his head he tried again and was met with success. A metal piece clunked down where he'd been sitting just moments after Falco began a slow progression toward the Blocky, his speed quickly picking up. Falco hung back a bit to see if Glover had any more follow up to his vengeful volleys so as to not be in the way. But should the blocky still be standing afterward Falco was primed to rush in and make another roundhouse kick on the jiggling machine.

Glover snapped out of his depression again and got on a roll, pun intended. Glover rolled back to the last Blocky as he considered his next move, that blue hat appeared again. "Glover, it seems you are right. These enemies do not seem to be able to counter melee attacks. Let him have it with a Glove Pound, Ball Rush Combo." the imaginary hat said to which Glover nodded at the figment of imagination caused by the inferiority complex he was developing from all this tripping.

Glover rammed into the Blocky with his ball again, jumping at collision and attempting to finish the Blocky off by pounding him from above. Glover then swiftly landed on his ball and got out of the way in case Falco needed to clean up a failure.

With glover's collision, the machien jittered and sparked, before shutting down, the slam only making the robot slowly tip over with a "Creeeeeeek", landing on the ground and exploding, much akin to it's defeated allies. With the last blockies defeat, the conveyor belt made it's slow stop, allowing the two to finally walk like normal people.

The door Metal man escaped from opened up loudly for the two, basically asking them to come on, the final verse was awaiting them, as was the final battle against one Metal Man! The hallway was shown to be a straight forward green-colored treck over to one large metal door, a long rusted "W" hanging over it, representative of this being a corrupted version of wily's old creation.

There was no denying the satisfaction of the robot going down. Not only were the sound effects and general display rewarding but the floor once again became a solid, unmoving floor. Falco flicked out his reflector and bounced it around like a hacky sack for a few moments in celebration. "Piece of cake," he stated as he made a showy finish and gave a thumbs up to Glover. The obnoxiously loud opening of their path to continue pursuit of the musical Metal Man diverted the avian's attention. "It's going to be too much to ask for no more conveyor belts isn't it?" Falco blurted out with almost a sigh.

His jacket jingled with the metal bits he'd stopped from getting processed in whatever the belts led to beyond. As the pair proceeded he did himself the favor of removing the uncomfortably sharp objects from his person; just letting them drop as he went. Once he was free of them he rolled his shoulders, "That's better." He then grabbed his pistol when they entered the room, eyes scanning the area.

Glover looked at the enemy's fall and lifted his ball in celebration to spin it like those basket ball players until it was good and rubber again. At the door opening and Falco dropping the metals he contemplated. There was no reason to let the metal just lie to waste and rust... if only there was some way to carry them... like all those card things Glover collected... Where did he put those anyway? Does not really matter but Glover took the metal he collected and the bird collected and held them in one finger to make them vanish.

He should be able to recall them if needed and maybe they can get a better reward if they give these metal bits to someone. Glover could use some good rewards after the travesty that just occured. Leaving the past behind him, Glover rolled alongside Falco for hopefully the last fight and hopefully there were no accursed conveyor belts this time.
