Platinum stood by the employee area of Shaymint. It was currently too cold for ice cream so not many were here naturally. The time rift was supposed to be right on the other side of this door. Shaymin was pacing on the ground as if something worried them in the empty ice cream diner, Uxie floated around Platinum clearly bothered too but did not share why. Though honestly with the damage a battle between Dialga and Palkia could cause it was no big surprise. This stuff was messy by nature.

She decided to just check over some notes on her Poketch. The anomaly should be the source of the change in history. They won't know what that is without knowing the events though so hopefully one of them does. Or Uxie could magic up the answer. Might not be how it works but best fallback they have. It's a good thing she's wearing her warmer clothes Candice gave her because being this close to the rift really is freezing. You could see the snow pile up in the restraunt.


"... I thought you hate the cold. Why are you the mascot here?" Platinum decided to question after a moment.


"... Eh, good publicity... Gets people to recognize me with little effort," Shaymin shrugs lightly and stretches.


"... Yeah, I should of guessed it was something like that..." The Pokemon trainer shook her head.

[Dawn "Platina" Berlitz]

“It sure worked on me~! Hi Shaymin!” Dawn fondly greeted, just kind of suddenly standing next to the duo. She had a knack for being sneaky, it seemed, or perhaps she'd just gotten lucky that they were distracted? She grinned cheerily at the familiar pokemon. One could only surmise that she was admiring them. Better hope she doesn't think about going for one of her pokeballs.

Rather abruptly though, she seems to notice Platinum. She quicky becomes distracted, her brow furrowing slightly at the apparent resemblance. “...I do not look like that.” she declared somewhat indignantly. “You got my face entirely wrong! And my hair... That's not even the right color!” Dawn goes on to state. While it might initially seem that she was lecturing Platinum, things quickly... went off the rails, and it would slowly become unclear who, if anyone, she was talking to. She began to turn about as she was speaking. “Listen, if you want me to wear makeup so badly you can just ask, y'know. Or is this one of those things where power corrupts you and makes you look evil? If we ever find my mom and she can't recognize me I'm taking that out on you, buster!”

Congratulations, you partied up with a raving lunatic. Let's hope she can face reality long enough to get the mission done.

[Sophia and Olivia]

A couple of well-dressed pokemon run up to the duo of Dawns. Sophia waits for them to notice her, after which her aura sight helpfully points out which one recognizes her, which she uses to determine must be the one she met before. "Hi Lady!" she greets, waving a paw at Platinum. She then looked to Dawn. "I guess must be a Lady too, huh? Are all Ladies as pretty as you are or are you like, sisters or something?" she asked. To her, the two lookalikes wasn't weird. It was no different than seeing another Riolu, or in this case another Lady as she put it. "Oh! Are you a pass-a-fist too? Olivia says that's what it's called when you don't fight." Sophia asked, quirking a brow at Dawn.

"It's pass-ih-fist not pass-ah-fist." Olivia corrected. She then bows her head to the two, her floppy ears clumsily wobbling about in front of her as she used her hand to keep her crown from falling off. She was slightly winded from running here, being the shortest legs and all. "My name's Olivia. We're here to help! I know it might be hard to believe because of how small we are, but we're martial artists!"

And then there were three Dawns. ...well, maybe.

The newcomer certainly resembled the other two humans in face and hair color, but she was different in terms of her clothes. She looked like she was plucked directly from the distant past, and she held a firm gaze as she moved inside the empty place to meet up with everyone else. Trailing behind her was...actual time lord of the Pokémon universe, Dialga. Akari decided that since they were dealing with what seemed to be space-time distortions, she figured it was best to bring the Legendary Pokémon of time and space to deal with the issue at hand.

She stops as she notes the two lookalikes standing there, one of them's pretty upset about the other...impersonating her? "So...you're not twins, then?" Akari asked, looking at the two others. Hard to tell if it was a joke or a serious question. Regardless, she would move to offer a handshake to Platinum. "Akari, from Galaxy Team's Survey Corps. Nice to meet you!" she says, before turning to Dawn, offering a small nod a small tip of her hat in response.

After this, she turned to the most...unexpected of arrivals, the duo of Pokémon...that wore clothes. And talked. Like, talked a language she understood. Akari was sent for quite the loop, but she decides to not call attention to that. "Right. We'll be counting on your skills!" Akari said, before turning back to the door. ("Hey, Arceus. Are those two...?") ("<From another world, yes. One of many possibilities to be had in the vast universe of ours.>") ("Right. Makes sense.") ("<Try not to lose focus, Akari. Right now we must prevent the distortion from causing any further damage to this place.">) ("Yep, you're right! Let's do this!")

"Well, I don't know about you all, but I'm ready to get going. Shall we?" Akari said with a smile, approaching the door, as she tugged on her red scarf a bit. Thankfully the Survey Corps outfit was insulated enough for this... Dialga, for now, stood close to Akari, ready for anything.
