"Welcome to our final stadium match for the week. Today we have a man of few words. So few in fact, I'm... not actually sure what his name is! His fans call him Doom Guy though, which I guess speaks volumes about his abilities! His opponent will be... Link! Oooh~! I remember Link! I was a big fan of his battle with Princess Peach. He may not have lost with 'style', but he did lose with grace~! I'm glad to see our handsome little hero wasn't too discouraged! Maybe he'll even pull a comeback in this match. What do you think, Jiggly?"

"Well said, and I'm sure any pokemon in the audience will appreciate your wisdom~"

"Oh my goddesses for the last time, you're not gonna get eaten again! Stop making excuses already."

"It was embarassi-OW!" A sharp thud could be heard just beyond the participant entrance to the Colosseum, followed shortly by several annoyingly verbose chimes.

"Look just get out there and kick some butt like you always do. Think of all the food and stuff we can buy with the prize money too!" Well Tatl's heart was clearly in the right place at least. After another brief scuffle where Link tried stalling going out into the arena, followed by his fairy companion dishing out a variety of stinging blows on his facial region and hair. For someone so small she really knew how to pack a punch.

"Hyeeeaaaah!!!" Link finally screamed in worn-down admittance; reluctantly running out into the arena proper to face down his opponent. The sooner they got this over with the better. It wasn't like Link hated fighting or anything; he enjoyed it a lot and the concept of a tournament sounded super fun... It was this specific stadium that really rubbed the boy the wrong way. To be fair, who could blame him after a match as humiliating and strange as his first. Hopefully this time around would be different.

The Doomslayer stood just outside the arena... silent, as always. He wasn't quite sure if he was up to this, frankly. Obviously, he loved the joy of combat, but he wasn't exactly a performer for an audience. ...Still, he knew he'd been described as a terror to watch on the battlefield. If it was bloodsport they wanted, he was quite certain he could provide. Cocking his Super Shotgun, he stepped onto the battlefield, prepared to tear his foe asunder, ripping and tearing their flesh and bone. He glared across the battlefield...

And was not prepared for a young boy. This... could be a problem.

Link brought his hand to his back, hovering it next to his sword's grip as he came face to face with his opponent. A strange being with no face, holding an even stranger weapon. Just as he was going to ask what the hell that strange tube thing in his hands was, a disorienting sensation of dysphoria overwhelmed the child. "Hrgh?! GHRGHHT-" The only sound that left Link's lips were disorienting grunts as he abruptly collapsed to the ground.

Everything went dark.

"-ap match~! Hope neither of you suffer from body dysmorphia~! Link, Mr. Doom, good luck~!"

"-INK!"

"LINK!" Tatl's worried rings cut through the muted void Link had been drowning in, bringing him back to his senses. It'd only been a few seconds, but seeing her partner abruptly fall unconscious out of nowhere proved more than enough to startle the glowing fairy. She bobbed up and down, attempting to poke and prod the hylian back to consciousness as her bell-like rings rang throughout the arena."Come on get up! Hey-What'd you do to him?!" The fairy accused, pointing a likely unseen finger at Blue; her tone peaking in volume.

[Hrnn... Ta-tl?] Link groaned, more than amused to see his companion's sharp worry. It was always nice when she was too worried to tease him... though usually he wasn't in a situation to appreciate such moments when they happened. As soon as his voice left his throat though... something felt different to Link. It sounded less like a voice and more like some garbled mess of growls... In fact, even his sight felt weird. He was staring down at Tatl and that Blue lady. Did he grow taller again? Why could he see himself down th-

"HGJGJHSFJHG!?!?!?!" Realization struck the body-swapped child like a rolling goron, panic racing through his mind. HE WAS INSIDE THAT WEIRD GUY'S BODY!? Doom-guy-Link waved his hands up and down, grasping his helmet with mannerisms that likely looked strange on the grown man. To be fair, who could blame him? He always said he wanted to go back to being an adult, but not like this!!!

After much confused gesturing, remembering Blue's dialogue right before all this occurred, Tatl was finally able to discern what'd happened; much to Link's dismay. Why might you ask? "HAHAHHAHAAHAH! O-OH MY GOD! THAT'S HILARIOUS!" ...because once that worry dissipated, the teasing Tatl reared her head. All the body-swapped hylian could do was groan incomprehensible words, having finished taking most of his equipment and his hat off of his body and haphazardly mounting them onto doom-guy's. He looked ridiculous, his bow hanging on his arm, his sword barely managing to strap across his shoulder, not to mention how silly his hat looked on top of the demon-slayer's helmet.

Tatl hoped someone was taking pictures. Gods she couldn't wait to tell Peach all about today.

"Alright~ Alright~ I'm sorry! Phew..." Tatl tearfully apologized to the indignant man-child, who'd been patiently waiting for his fairy companion to finish her tirade. He sent her a glare that seemed... unintentionally more intimidating than he meant, but it worked enough to get Tatl a smidge more serious. "Alright, the sooner you win; the sooner you can get your tiny body back!"

[Tiny?! Look who's talking!] Link wanted to say, but instead was only able to voice a garbled mess of unintelligible growls. 

"Right back 'atcha buddy." She winked, flitting around the former hylian before resting on his ill-sized cap. "You just handle the fighting and I'll deal with the audience requests!" It sounded like an alright arrangement for him. At least this way he could focus on the fight.

Speaking of the fight, Link wasted no time rushing towards his old body as soon as he was given the cue; drawing his gilded sword off his side in one fluid motion before slashing relentlessly into his opponent. "HAA! HERAAAAH! SHORIYAAAAH!"

As he engaged his opponent, Tatl began to go and peruse Blue's screen to get a gauge of what the audience wanted. It seemed like there was stuff targeted specifically at each opponent, as well as general appeals they could tackle... Alright! The best strategy would probably be to knock out all the high point ones first. Now was the time for her to pull her weight! The top two of the "Both" column didn't sound so hard, too. Alright Tatl, time to roll up your big-girl sleeves!

Blue would find herself graced by a bright light bouncing around right in her face, the fairy's highpitched voice ringing down her throat as Tatl engaged her "opponent". "Hey! Only I get to mess with Link! You think it's okay to just switch around people's bodies like that? Meanie! Jerk! Loser! How'd you like it if I switched your body, huh?!" She let that phrase sink in for a moment... before smirking and winking at the significantly larger pokemon trainer. "Of course, I don't think I'd mind too much switching around with your body~" On that note, the mischievous fairy booped Blue on the nose before flitting back towards her battling partner with a ringing laugh. This was way too fun!

Meanwhile, Link was doing his best to adapt to this larger body. It certainly made his regular movements a bit harder to adapt in the fight, but with how much time he'd spent in his older form, he was steadily managing to get a hang of it. Rolling onto his side, the youth landed securely on one knee after fluidly drawing his bow. Taking maybe a minute or two to aim, Link quickly released the drawstring to send the projectile hurtling towards his foe.

"Tch." He clicked his teeth, already seeing that his aim was still a bit off. He needed to adapt faster to this body if he was gonna have any chance of winning.

When he awoke, he immediately recognized he was without his suit. "Where'd my suit go?!" he growled. "And how'd my voice come back?" He looked down at his original body, now on the ground, and then noticed his tunic. "Oh no! I've lost my original body... and now I'm stuck in this kid's! I'm small! That means small guts!" He smirked. "Well, I can only assume the same thing happened to him... and I know my own weaknesses better than anybody!" Gathering his weapons in... whatever space Link uses to hold his inventory, he faced down his foe, in his original body. "From my perspective you seem pretty big... but Cyberdemons are bigger! And I never had no problem with them! So bring it on, baby man!"

Doomslayer, now in a much smaller body, was struck by the first of the boy's - or man's? - sword strikes, which he took in stride before avoided the rest. He grinned as the arrow flew past his head. "Hey now! I'm a small target! That makes things harder for you - and easier for me!" He smirked, drawing his pistol. "My turn!"

Though his impeccable sense of aim served him well on the first shot, his smaller body left him unprepared for the proportional amount of recoil on subsequent shots. "Woah now! I need to be careful - gotta keep my shooting arm under control!" He glanced up, finally noticing the audience requests. "Oh yeah - there's a couple of those I can handle right now!" He holstered his pistol and rushed his old body, fist at the ready. "Here comes the night train, baby!"

She even remained quiet while Tatl told her off and flinched when she booped her, squirming in discomfort at the rather mean-spirited flirting. You could just see the way it got under her skin. She stammered a bit in reply, turning off her microphone for a moment so as not to embarrass herself further.

Tatl and Link were both frozen on the spot, staring down at Link's body as it rattled off his mouth uncontrollably. It looked.............. Wrong. "...Okay, I suddenly get why you don't talk a lot. Holy cow, he's so annoying!" She ringed in Linkslayer's ear, earning an embarrassed groan from the armored hero. He couldn't refute it. Now he really had to end this battle ASAP; before this crazy old man taking over his body ruined his image any further!

Letting his instincts take over, Link did his best to tune out the annoying manchild's ramblings in as they entered combat once more.

Initial cautious over this guy's foreign weapons proved critical, as Link was just barely able to weave between the bullets fired out of Doomslayer's pistol. The Hylian had never seen a gun before and, loud noises aside, it came across as some sort of insanely fast, easy-use bow mechanism that fired strictly arrow-heads! What a cheat! The first and last shot grazed his armor, knocking Link off balance for a moment in surprise; making him momentarily open for his small hylian body to rush in for a close-up attack.

Of course, hand-to-hand combat was a grave mishandling of his body. Even if the blow did hurt some, this Doomslayer clearly didn't have any idea how to best utilize his form. As the small-bodied demon-slayer closed in on his head-region to swipe Link's precious hat, the action elicited a deep, guttural growl from Link as he easily side-stepped it. That piece of clothing was one of the only pieces of home he still had with him. His memories of the Kokiri Forest, of Saria and the Great Deku Tree, even of Mido! It was bad enough this jerk was making a mockery of his body, but this.... this affront made things personal.

Link set to work slashing at Doomslayer with renewed vigor; spurned on by his growing anger towards this opponent seemingly dead-set on assaulting everything about him. "HIRAAAAAAAH!!!" He cried out with each slash, eyes growing faintly brighter as his anger and bodily control steadily grew. Ever so faintly, the outline of three triangles began to make themselves visible on the body-swapped Hylian's hand; the top-most triangle glowing the strongest out of the three.

Tatl meanwhile decided to float off away from her enraged partner, starting to get a little put off by how angry he was getting. Sure this guy was a jerk, but was Link getting a little too worked up? Well... either way, she still needed to support him and do her part as well. "Knock him flat, Link!" She cheered on, encouraging him some more for good measure before turning her attention back to the audience requests. Alright, what else did they have left? "Hm... Top one on the board is talk to some guy in the audience... Seems easy!" The name sounded a little familiar to Tatl, but she shrugged it off. Points were points right? In a trail of yellow sparkles, the fairy whizzed off towards the audience, yelling quite loudly over it's roar. "HEY GANONDORK! WHAT'S UP!?" She rang at the top of her lungs before flying back down towards the stadium floor, not even waiting for a response. Hey, the request only said to ask them what they were up to. Never said anything about listening for a response.

Finally ending his barrage, the Hylian jumped back several meters before holding out his sword straight to his side; staring the demon-killer dead in the eyes through his helmet while magic power began to pool about the sword. Link meanwhile was practically glowing now with a strange golden aura as he swapped out his sword on the fly for his bow, firing off another quick shot practically point-blank at Doomguy while his coming attack continued to charge.

Already getting used to his new small, agile body, Doomslayer had no issue avoiding his old body's attacks. Starting to recognize his body a bit more, he smirked. "Oh yeah... now you're getting it! Get mad! Get real mad!" He glanced around his old body for a moment. "Hey... where's that little ball that follows you around?" He looked to the audience, then pointed straight at Tatl as she greeted somebody or other. "Hey! Get down here and participate in the fight, you little glowy coward!"

Doomslayer effortlessly sidestepped the arrow as it whizzed past his head. "If you wanna hit me with a projectile, it's gonna need to be a faster one than that! Hitscan or bust, baby!" He then noticed the sword's glow, eyes widening. "Woah! What kind of funky magic is that? I'm gonna have to be careful... without my suit, I'm vulnerable!" His smirk progressed to a grin as he prepared a shotgun that seemed far too large in Link's hands. "Though that's not gonna save you, big man!"

Linkslayer's body stumbled back under the painful hail of shotgun shells as they pounded against his armor. Body armor or not, it still hurt like hell... though for some reason he didn't seem to care. That glowing yellow aura continued to persist as the bodyswapped Hylian swerved away just in time to once more deter his opponent for stealing his hat. Even though he dodged though, the additional attempt only seemed to enrage Link even more. "HURHIGAAAAAAAAAA!!!" Letting out an unearthly roar from his long since deteriorated throat, the Hylian gripped the hilt of his sword tightly; the glowing triangle on his hand practically searing through his skin a it's light enveloped his already magically charged blade. With zero hesitation, Link swung it straight into his own body with an exaggerated spin; sending waves of deadly golden and red magic slicing across the entire field in a perfect circle.

Even after that was done, the anger-blinded hero didn't cease; once more withdrawing his bow and knocking up an arrow practically burning at the head with frozen magic before firing it into his foe as well.

"...Link... you okay?" Tatl inquired (from a safe distance), her partner's behavior starting to concern her just a bit now. Jeez, even when he used the Fierce Diety's mask or the Goron's mask he never got this heated in a fight before. Not to mention that weird glow surrounding him was completely new to her.... though it looked vaguely divine, if she had to wager a guess. Almost like some sort of foreign power was possessing him. Either way bad news. "Jeez, I hope he's alright."

She shrugged after watching for a while, not really able to help in that regard. The fairy flew over to Blue before taking a seat on the announcer girl's shoulder with a sigh; pulling out a... bottle of milk? Wait, did she steal that from the stands? When'd she do that?? And why was it fairy-sized? "Weird request, but I guess I was kinda thirsty." She took a deep and plentiful swig from the bottle, making sure to lean into Blue's mic before letting out a satisfied sigh so Doomslayer could hear. "Not as good as Romani Ranch milk, but I guess it's alright. I'd rate it a 5/10."

Link's body grinned as the armored figure before him began to glow. "Now this is new - must be my body's capacity for rage - and whatever weird magic power that kid's got! Now this is a proper challenge!"

Thinking quickly as the magically-imbued sword began to spin towards him, he revved his chainsaw, catching the blade between its teeth and deflecting it. "Woah - that was close!" He kept the momentum of his weapon going, however, driving his chainsaw into his opponent.

So focused was he on his narrow evasion and subsequent counterattack, he didn't have time to get out of the way of the arrow soaring towards him! "Careless! I gotta keep my mind on the battle!" He backed off a bit, wincing as the ice covered his body and producing a rocket launcher - almost comically oversized on the small body he was currently inhabiting - and leveled it at his old self. "But enough talk - time for some good old-fashioned rocket tag!"

Doomslayer should've taken into account the kind of opponent he was facing when he tried to block that attack with a chainsaw-attack. Instead of tanking the damage, Link twisted the chainsaw's blade into the grip of his own sword; deflecting it away from himself in a surprisingly agile cartwheel around his opponent before sending his fist mercilessly back into Doomslayer's face; bringing with it all of the momentum from the body-swapped demon slayer's attack and more right back at him!

While the ice magic began to eat away at his opponent, the Hylian corrupted by the chaotic triforce of power feeding off of his rage watched with muted satisfaction. He began walking towards his opponent, completely dismissive even as the situation turned so that Link was staring down the barrel of a loaded rocket launcher. With seemingly no effort at all, Link walked through the uneven and weaving paths as the explosive projectiles harmlessly whizzed past him; finally closing the distance between him and the unbalanced man once more.

"HEIRGHHHH!!!" Link's decrepit throat gurgled and growled as anger once more welled up inside of him, amplified tenfold by the Triforce resting on his hand. He wasted no time tightening the grip on his blade before hacking and slashing mercilessly at his former body once more; capitalizing on the adaptability disparities between them to unleash a berserk assault.
