Appearance:

History On Li: It was a normal day for Isabelle. The village of New Leaf was doing wonderfully, as the Mayor had come back to discuss public work projects. However, Lyloid burst into the City Hall, claiming something was horribly wrong. As Isabelle and the Mayor walked outside, they saw a massive portal open up, and swallow their entire town! When Isabelle awoke, the Mayor was gone, but the town was almost completely unharmed.

Isabelle isn't quite sure what all is going on with Li, but she knows her town is OK! However, another town has come into contact with New Leaf, the Life Sphere. Impressed with their happy name, Isabelle decided in the absence of the mayor to open the town up to the Life Sphere folks. Most of her time, she travels between the Life Sphere and New Leaf, acting in the place of the missing Mayor. However, some odd things have been happening in New Leaf, and Isabelle wants to get to the bottom of it. And well,  no one can stop a determined little puppy with a ton of energy,

Primary Attacks (3)
Confetti Surprise: [Dex, 22% -1 Accuracy to hit], Isabelle pulls out one of her hundreds of festival confetti poppers and pops it right behind an opponent's head. It actually causes her to roll back because the popper is so strong, causing -1 to her accuracy.

Fishing Rod: [Dex, 9%, -1 enemy dodge roll for 2 turns] Whipping out her trusty fishing rod, Isabelle can attack from a far distance by launching hook and sinker at an enemy a good distance away. Upon a hit, it has a 100% chance of reducing the opponent's dodge roll modifier on a successful hit for 3 turns, as the returning fishing line snags and pulls at the target.

Oops! [Dex 21 %, 1 turn Cooldown]  Isabelle runs and trips while holding a pot, causing the pot to fly out and smash into an opponent. 



Special Attacks (3)
Pocket: [Dex vs Enemy Projectile 0 %, 3-turn Cooldown] Isabelle simply reaches out at an enemy projectile, and catches it.  Within one round, if Isabelle were to use Pocket again, she could release the projectile back at an opponent at the same strength. However, it only affects projectiles; it'd be too hard to catch melee weapons. In addition, Isabelle can only pocket one attack at a time. and any attempts to pocket another one releases the stored projectile. Only affects energy and physical projectiles. Has a 3 turn cool down once the pocket is emptied.

Brewster's Special: [Dex(to attack), Cha (to help allies) 5%, 4 turn cooldown] Pulling out a fresh cup of coffee from The Roost, Isabelle can drink it or pass it to another member of the team. Somehow, the cup of coffee is made exactly to the preference of the drinker (not from a magical means; Isabelle simply remembered their preferred coffee), and on a successful 1d20+Cha roll,  the drinker gains a +1 modifier in their choice of Dex, Wis, or Cha for 1 round, and heals exactly 1% of heal. On a fail, it's just a nice cup of coffee. Has a combat use, spilling on an opponent, causing a 100% chance of a Burn status. Has a 4 turn cooldown.

Fruit Basket:  [0 %, 6 turn cooldown] Isabelle produces a fruit basket she personally gathered from the various fruit trees in New Leaf and feeds the party.  Each party member eating the fruit heals 1d15+Isabelle's Charisma modifier. 6 turn cooldown.

Final Smash (1)

K.K. Concert: Isabelle produces a large Boombox with a series of selections from the famous and popular K.K. Slider! With his sweet tones, the rest of Isabelle's allies take a +4 increase in all modifiers for one turn (the song isn't very long). After the song ends, Isabelle has to put the boombox away, which is comically large for her small status. (One day she'll earn enough Bells to buy the NookPod and portable speakers.)

Isabelle's magical girl training has concluded! She gains the following special moves.

Frills of Justice: Isabelle channels the purity of her heart, undergoing a magical girl transformation! Her outfit transforms, or more accurately becomes a lot frillier. As is the law of magical girls, this is directly proportionate to her power. Isabelle gains a +2 to all of her stat modifiers except Charisma which gains a +4 for 3 turns, but the move exhausts her and she is afflicted by the drowsy status once it ends. 4 turn cooldown.

True Love's Puppy Kiss: Isabelle gives the target a sweet puppy kiss, initiating a Charisma vs Intelligence roll to attempt to control them. If successful, she can force the target to make an action of her choice towards a target of her choice. This action bypasses the effects of non-physical statuses that would prevent the victim from attacking such as stun, infatuation, and sleep. When used on an infatuated target or a target that is otherwise incapable of defending themselves, such as because they're asleep, Isabelle's control over the target lasts until they regain consciousness, allowing her to fully control them. 4 turn cooldown.

Rider asked me to pick out a few love magic themed moves to enhance Isabelle's moveset, redeeming her Inner Magical Girl item from the Nefarious Mirage!. This grants her 3 moves, which I'll detail below.

Primary Attacks

Hand of Temperance: This love powered strike with either a hand or a weapon generates a concentrated explosion of magic on contact that is liable to send even the heaviest of fighters flying. Isabelle's suffers a -1 penalty to her dodge modifiers next turn. She also takes 6% Self-Damage. (Heavy Wis Attack. Does 27% + Cha Mod Damage)

Special Attacks

Arms of Compassion: Isabelle gives the target a sweet hug! If they're an ally, this heals the target for an amount equal to 1d5+(Cha Mod) and reduces the duration of any negative debufs on the target by 2 turns. If the target is an enemy, it instead reduces the duration of buffs on them by 2 turns instead. 2 turn cooldown.

Pocket Person: Behold, a mini skirt with pockets!! I know, I know, unrealistic. Yet, awesome! There's actually more to this move than stylish yet practical clothing, though! Isabelle can grapple a person and put them in her pocket, which acts as a ... pocket dimension, shrinking them down in a cartoonish manner as they enter such that they fit neatly in her pocket. This somewhat removes them from the field of battle such that enemies cannot target them with attacks that have the potential to miss, however a very rude individual could attempt to grapple Isabelle in turn and fish them back out. Once taken out, they immediately return to their normal size. For the purposes of mechanics, this is a spatial distortion effect and does not actually count as the mini status. If Isabelle isn't careful however, or wants to use her pockets for punishment, her pockets are capable of suffocating whoever's in them! This afflicts the suffocation status. To escape without Isabelle's aid, someone in her pockets can attempt to attack Isabelle's pockets from within, however due to the pockets being cramped, they only get 2 actions per turn. To break out of the pocket, they must do 40% damage to the pocket from within. If they escape, Isabelle gets violently launched as they re-emerge below her for 40% damage. However, if they fail to escape and are KO'd, she takes 0% damage. If she takes them out during a turn they attacked her, she takes the hits that would've targeted her pocket in the process. 3 turn cooldown.
