((Hi! Welcome to the Tough Love challenge. This is an open challenge where you get to pick your opponent(s) from the choices I give you! Careful though, these damsels will require a bit more effort to put in distress than you might expect. You can pick up to two, if you're looking for a team battle.))

There are a group of young ladies hanging out in the arena! One of them, the blonde in the pink dress, is sporting the stadium champ's belt. It looks like they're waiting for someone to show up, likely for a fight. While they wait, they're casually talking to each other. A few of the pokemon trainers could be observed discussing their pokemon as a group, while others could be observed doing their own thing. Upon someone showing up in the arena, the group of gals would stop what they were doing to observe, presenting themselves for challenging. None of them were in too much of a hurry, though. After all--there were far too many on the field. They couldn't all fight, right? ...Well, that would be unprecedented anyway. One could certainly try, if they had a team of their own or were looking to make a bunch of girls angry by insisting they could take them all at once.

{this is a continuation from Sakura Shinguji Vs. Pit for me, only this time, it'll be Sakura Shinguji Vs. a member of the MGS, with the same rules as last time and no belt because the challenge factor isn't exactly worth it.}

Oh, gee... I wonder who might turn up this time, could Death come again to play with Little Arle?

NOPE!

Instead of the Grim Reaper, the girls would feel something different, as they could actually hear the sound of footsteps, and someone far different from Death; someone more their same gender...

Someone who just so happened to fight in this very arena once before and against an angel named Pit, no less...

"This looks interesting, hardly know any of you, save for one whom I met earlier in the park." the person said, and despite being in a child-like form; Little Arle would immediately be able to recognize the voice, Pink Kimono top, Red Hakama, and navy blue hair straight away, an aura of pure spiritual energy that was only visible to those with magic coursing through their veins was easily discernable.

Other than that, the Arataka being held in the scabbard while in her right hand was not just intentional, it's because the last time she fought, Pit used his Magnus Club against her, and broke her left arm(which she uses to draw her blade) by complete accident. The bones had managed to get mended at the Lightweather hospital, but the medics told her straight up not to overtax the arm, otherwise it'd break again.

Death Meanwhile sat in the stands, with Slogra and Gaibon at their usual post guarding the commentators booth, all while the Gerudo guards that were in the stands kept their vigil, they'd rather Funky Kong enter the arena through the doors rather than from the air, seeing as they were indeed armed with their spears to ensure that he didn't try any stunt like that again.

" . . . Hey, I think someone's coming! Mind if I take this one? I'm feeling a little rusty since last time I was in the stadium." Ashe remarked, flagging down Peach's attention. Of course, only the champion of Tough Love benefited or ran the risk of losing the champion's belt. And today it seemed like she'd be relaxing and watching her sisters fight it out. "You are most welcome, Ashe~ I'm looking forward to seeing what you can do~" Peach replied rather eagerly. Little Arle looked up in confusion, spotting Sakura. Her voice and appearance felt familiar, but she wasn't sure from where. it took her a moment, as it was mildly difficult for her to recall things she'd seen or experienced while she was older. After her brain caught up with her eyes though, she giggled and eagerly waved to Sakura. "Hi Sagoo...rya!" Arle greeted, only to choke rather hard on Sakura's name. "Sa...cool...rrra!" Arle began to recite, fighting her tongue to make that odd sound. She seemed to become embarassed after a moment, pouting slightly at no one in particular as Peach gently pat her head and began to lead her away. "I gots ta make room for the mash. I'll cheer for you from the sides though~" Arle remarked waving a hand eagerly. Taking notice of this, Ashe spoke up once the other girls had given them some space.

Ooo~! You know Arle, huh? Y'know, maybe you can pick her up after our match and get to know her little self a bit better~ She usually learns names a little better once she's had a bit of practice. I think most of us feel a bit better when she's our age, but she's kinda cute this way~!

A cold wind swept over the arena, darkness enveloping the sky and causing the audience to break into a slight panic as blue was swallowed up in black. Oh god, what if Sanic was hijacking the arena again!?

Finally though, from out of the darkness, thin red lights cut through; criss-crossing over each-other to form an ominous grid surrounding the Sunshine Stadium. The audience fell silent, and for a moment all was quiet... before a single booming voice spoke out over the arena!

  

"Aaaaahhhh! I've been asleep for so long! Fear not, spectators, because your beloved announcer has finally returned!" Slowly, the wireframes in the sky began to collapse in on themselves, coalescing around the booming voice to seemingly take form as the being slowly lowered into the commentator's box (seemingly disregarding all security that had been put in place, in the process.) "I heard your cries for my awakening, the call for melees and they rang true!"

What many did not know and what this latest match had caused, a primordial force known only as "the Wireframe" had laid dormant in the area directly below the Sunshine Stadium; a relic of a time long, long before! Before the Starvia, before Master Hand, before even the existence of Li itself somehow! Every match above had slowly served in waking this force of nature up bit by bit... until finally it could once more take form. "Ahhh so these are the fighters that we have to battle today!" If he had a face, the announcer would likely be beaming if his tone was anything to go by. "Let's see... New fighters huh? ...A bit far off from what I'm used to. When'd we start letting in 'thirdies,' am I right?"

"Anyway, enough with the chit chat. Now it's time for a good old fashioned Brawl... no, that doesn't sound right." For some reason, that word alone left a foul taste in the announcer's mouth. "A smash hrm... Close but no cigar."

"Regardless, let's begin this: SPECIAL MELEE! (That's the word!) We're going STAMINA on a five minute timer; but don't think just taking down percentages will bring in this win folks! This ain't your grandma's 64 anymore. Welcome to-"

The awkwardness of seeing a younger version of Arle trying to pronounce Sakura's name properly actually made her giggle slightly, lightly patting Little Arle on the forehead to ensure that she heard. "You'll get it right, after all practice makes perfect." Sakura told her in a gentle tone, before turning to face her opponent in the battle... Who had just transformed.

"A pleasure to meet you too, you can call me Sakura Shinguji, and hopefully this fight will be good for training especially since I'm part of the Imperial Defense Force where I came from." She added, swapping the position of her sheathed weapon to the left hand, so as to draw the blade with her right.

It was then that the referee for the match arrived, which turned out to be a Wireframe of sorts which bewildered the samurai girl quite unexpectedly... At least until the being set the rules. "First fight was with an angel with a wide array of weapons, now this... This day couldn't get even weirder if it tried." Sakura said to herself as she entered a battle stance...

Then struck with near lightning precision, the sound of the Arataka striking within a single flashstep making it look as though she had vanished from the arena, But rather than perform a haiku(albiet rather badly at that) Sakura decided to go for a simple slash, and unless Ashe was not careful she would receive a cut on her knee, signifying that her opponent had drawn first blood from the attack.
STR ROLL A: 16+3=19{devastating Wounding Slash @ Ashe, 5% dmg and 100% Mortal Wound chance if it connects}

This would then be followed up by a sudden ball of spiritual energy forming from an outstretched hand firing at Ashe point-blank from behind.
WIS ROLL: 19+4=23{Ruthlessly strong point-blank Spiritual Blast @ Ashe, targets INT, 5% dmg and 100% Mind Melted chance if it connects}

Sakura would end her combo chain by attempting to smack the top of Ashe's head with her Arataka.

Sakura would then perform a graceful bow to her opponent as an appeal.

And then... Ashe parried Sakura's sword. She reached down and parried the sword with her bare arm, swatting it away like a toy. Arceus! What was she made of?! The metallic clank of the sword against her arm might be a hint. Ashe nearly touched noses with Sakura in the process, beaming excitedly at her as they came face to face for the first time.

"Oh yeah~? I'm a licensed bounty hunter myself." Ashe eagerly replied, neglecting to mention all of the other things she hunted.

--Ashe then recoiled with a start as Sakura attacked her mind! Woah! That wasn't what she was expecting. She was then knocked flat on her butt by a good smack over the head. "--Ow!" Ashe blurted out, gingerly rubbing her head. Man, she wasn't into all this negative attention her head was getting. She felt like this was going to hurt later. At this, though, Ashe bounced back to her feet and drew her laser shots, two ring shaped busters with multiple barrels meant to be spun around. "It's a pretty weird world. I'd play big sister and show you around, but I think you've got a couple of inches on me~!" Ashe playfully joked, only for the barrel of her laser shot to begin glowing. She then attempted to blast Sakura right in her stomach with a sizeable burst of plasma!

Ashe then discharged her other buster at Sakura, putting on the presure hard. This time, what looked like a bolt of plasma resembling electricity shot out at a lower speed and began chasing Sakura around, attempting to catch her! It would strike her multiple times in quick succession if it caught up to her, making up for its lackluster punch with high accuracy.

Ashe then lunged away from Sakura, doing her best to put some distance between them as she aimed the back of her buster down at the ground. An exceptionally long stream of plasma shot out, bouncing up off the ground before soaring up at Sakura's chest!

Skidding to a stop, Ashe struck a combative pose and spun a bit in the dirt as she turned to face the other, her comically large ponytail bouncing about in defiance of gravity and a grin finding its way onto her face. She didn't seem all that fazed by the pain in her head. She had a good head on her shoulders, after all! And I'm not just talking about the strength of her skull either. Her mind was as tough as her body, which was incredibly tough by human standards--but it was admittedly a bit easier for humans to toughen their minds than their bones.

Sakura knew she was in too close for comfort, and she tried to get out of the way of the hit...
DEX ROLL A: 16-1=15{ouch!}

Sadly, Sakura couldn't get out of the way in time as she was blasted back by a ball of plasma, which lightly singed her garb, this didn't anger her so she tried again with the second attack...
DEX ROLL B: 17-1=16{this one is not so bad...}

And she successfully pulled off the dodge, but the reflect shot on the other hand would not be as easy to avoid, but instead of evading it, A brilliant pink bubble shield much like the design on her Kimono top appeared and blocked the attack!

Sakura slightly panted from the use of her Spiritual Energy being used like that, but she would not let it get to her, not when she had a very good adversary in the vicinity. However, Ashe would be shocked that Sakura was simply using only a few weak attacks, because she promptly phased out from her line of sight, the audience which included the likes of Death, and what members of the MGS were in the seats would hear a sudden slash from the Arataka, it was the sword-based quick draw discipline referred to as Iaijutsu, the only thing Ashe would be able to see was the blinding speed at which Sakura had moved before the Samurai Girl once again appeared behind her, Sakura Petals fluttering like snow revealing the technique Sakura used against Pit in the last fight in this very arena, the words she would speak would either excite the crowds, or filling any who knew nothing about the move with a sense of dread. "A thousand Cherry Blossoms, Dancing in the breeze... Cherry Blossom Dance!" Which promptly caused the Sakura Petals to converge on Ashe to hit her with a weak variation of 'Death of a Thousand Cuts'!

She then followed up with an Arataka slash to the back of Ashe's right arm, intent on disarming her off at least one of her guns.

Sakura would then perform her appeal, a swords dance that would impress even Iris.

 And by the looks of things, the Announcer was already starting to get bored; sipping on a drink he had pulled out of hammerspace somehow. "Booooring. This is a smash, not a talk-contest! Get to slashing already!" The announcer urged quite fervidly, his booming voice filled to the brim with disappointment... Until Sakura finally made the first moves!

"Alright alright alright, now we're getting somewhere folks!" Spinning around in the air, the wireframe entity leaned out the window of the commentator's box; pointing at the fight with intense enthusiasm. "It looks like Sakura here's out for blood. Literally, those swords got some kick into them from what I can see. Combined with the punch from those spirit blasts, you got a powerful arsenal on your hands."

"It's like I always say: voice acting killed their stocks!" Whether or not anyone got the extra-dimensional jab, the announcer wasted no time switching his attention over to their other fighter.

"Looks like our other fighter isn't doing so hot. Those last attacks were pretty solid hits; but hey, it ain't over until the fat goomba! Seems like Ashe abandoned close range in favor of playing the long-range game. A smart idea; I gotta say. Playing to her strengths and her opponent's weaknesses! Now that's using your knoggin!"

"The crowd seemed to be playing favorites in Sakura's court, judging by the cheer's I'm hearing. Looks like she knows it too! After a devesating charged shot she's back on her feet and... A signature move! Everyone loves a signature move and the crowd's going wild for it! Personally, I'm move of a down-b thunderbolt guy myself but every fighter's gotta have one!"

"The damage seems devastating folks, and Megagirl here better put on her fancy feet if she wants to keep that distance gap. And I don't mean fancy fast; but fancy fancy! The Audience isn't digging those stale moves. Looking pretty robotic if I do say so myself; Certified dance instructor since 2001, come on down to Endless Smash Maneuvers, classes every Wednesday at 3:00pm!"

Ashe ducked and lunged out of the way, rocketing forward with a burst of speed as her boots kicked into high gear. No matter how close the cherry blossom petals got, they never quite touched her body. Ashe's legs and ponytail twirled about above her as she made a point to show off her flexibility by performing several acrobatic maneuvers, casting an image of deadly femininity across the battlefield as her lithe and powerful movements were beset by the fluttering cherry blossoms. That was just photogenic! It wasn't really her style, per se, but she couldn't help it if Sakura set her up. As she ducked and weaved through the cherry blossom petals, she dished out a short burst of plasma in retaliation!

Ashe then quickly followed up by firing off at Sakura with her other buster, which had slightly more time to charge up!

She then drew her first buster up to lay on the heat once again, attempting to stop Sakura's approach in her tracks--only for Sakura to slash Ashe's arm and hand, knocking her laser shot out of her hand! "--Ow!" Ashe blurted out with a start, momentarily bewildered. Did Sakura just try to disarm her? ...She shared a look with Sakura before making a dive for her laser shot! ...Only it wasn't a dive for her laser shot at all. It was a feint, and she was making a rather aggressive play.

Ashe dove for the ground, but immediately caught herself with her hands pushing herself backward into the air, right back toward Sakura with her legs spread wide! She then spun around and attempted to fold her legs over Sakura's shoulders...

...Before clamping her thighs down around Sakura's neck and sending her to the ground under the massive force of her full weight being thrown into that tackle. The next thing Sakura would know, she would be on her back on the ground. Her arms were being held down by Ashe so she couldn't use her sword and her neck was pinned down firmly between Ashe's legs. The silver-haired hunter was sitting on Sakura facing her head, taking care not to rest all of her weight on Sakura's neck. If she did, she would have almost certainly crushed Sakura's throat. Those things are pretty soft and vulnerable, after all. Still, it would be slightly difficult to breathe with the weight she was resting on the other. Ashe arced her back a bit, hovering over Sakura's head and beaming at her knowingly. "...You knooow, they say it's really cowardly to hit a girl unless she's armed. I think those rules are supposed to be for boys, but if you ask me I'd kinda like to be honorable too~!" Ashe playfully explained with a knowing wink.

...And then she got off of Sakura, letting her go just like that before turning her back and going to retrieve her fallen laster shot.

"And what do you know, Sakura's swift blows just barely manage to nick robogirl!" The Announcer... well, announced. Strange when a verb also happens to be the name you go by, huh. "Gotta say, looks like Ashe here's taking my advice to heart. Look at the way she's just dancing through those petals! So majestic, elegant..." As if noticing how mesmerized he was getting in the reploid's movements, the Announcer hastily cleared his throat before dishing out a amendment more than likely for the sake of saving face. "-for a 'thirdie' I mean."

"You know, back in my day, combat was pretty fast paced! I don't mean run speeds or fall speeds, though those were pretty sweet in it's hay-day as well. No, I'm talking wave-dashing people! How come nobody does that anymore?! I swear half the gambits on here could seriously up the ante with some wave-dashing or momentum canceling." Despite the fact that literally nobody in the audience knew what the hell this strange entity was rambling on about, he didn't seem any less deterred from his spiel. "Hell, I'd take a dash-cancel or two at this point! Get competitive ladies!"

If the Announcer was capable of facial emotions, he would no doubt be wearing a deadpan right now. After all, completely adverse to the "critical advise" he'd just given, Ashe instead was getting chummy peacefully taking down her opponent. The Announcer looked towards the crowd, as if expecting them to start a riot over this behavior completely against the competitive scene's spirit... yet they were just eating it right up!

"...You people disappoint me."

One could easily say that Sakura was surprised when her opponent had the ability to successfully evade her strongest attack by far,but managed to still get a bead on her despite the range difference between them. She tried again to get out of the way of the first hit...
DEX ROLL A: 17-1=16{this pretty much results in a tie, with the better modifier being the Victor in this case...}

Unfortunately, Sakura failed to get out of the way in time and got blasted... The other shot however was much more telegraphed and Sakura was able to get out of the way of it to avoid being hit again!
DEX ROLL B: 20-1=19{and the samurai dodges the bullet!}

Luckily for Sakura, she did manage to disarm Ashe, but in doing so was unable to escape from being caught in a grapple move and was forced down onto the ground and knocking the wind out of her, to make the situation more difficult than it already was, Ashe had managed to get both of her arms in this grapple. Though from her fight with Pit was a similar affair, she had no idea what to do in a bid to force CQC on her opponent, which sucked if she was up against someone who knew how to exploit her wanting a fair fight...

Sakura may have bitten off more than she could chew.

"Color me surprised... Who would've thought that somebody could dodge my strongest attack. You're pretty good, though considering the fact that you can easily be disarmed by a simple strike... I might say that you might want to take up actual swordplay." Sakura said calmly, getting back up from the ground and massaging her broken arm gently, it was still on the mend and not fully healed up, though she still managed to get a hold of her katana and placed it in its scabbard. "a shame really, that duels of honor aren't as good when one's life is on the line, though." she added, making certain that her right hand was on the hilt of the Arataka, though she did note that Ashe may have the superior speed advantage to dodge, there was one thing she did nothing have in terms of upbringing... The knowledge of good old-fashioned swordplay with the use of an actual sword, rather than futuristic weapons. "Get ready, because I'm still going to try to beat you, feel free to dodge or block to the beat of your ability though." Sakura said, once again using her Iaijutsu practice to try and best her opponent through no less than three slash attacks, though one would be less potent if it weren't for the fact that scratch damage can lead to mortal wounds.

"What good would swordplay do me when I'm wielding guns?" Ashe retorted with a small bit of giggling laughter at the idea. "I think I could parry a sword with one of my laser shots, but wouldn't you rather see me move?" she went on to remark, rhyhtmically swaying her body back and forth with emphasis on the hips. However, Ashe's fun was abruptly stopped short when she tripped all over herself trying to get out of the way of Sakuras attack. The first hit nearly missed her entirely, but dazed her so that the followups hit without much resistance. She fell to one knee, gingerly picking herself back up and briefly inspecting a wound where Sakura's sword had cut particularly deep, drawing blood.

"...But if it's a sword fight you want, I think I can provide~! Now who do I know that uses swords?" Ashe asked, pondering this for a moment. "--Oh yeah! Just one moment. A-trans!" Ashe called out, her body enveloping in a white light... before growing and filling out. --Yo, was this one of those provocative magical girl transformations? Yes, actually. Pretty much.

Cue the music

...But when the transformation ended, something was decisively different about Ashe.

She went Super Saiyan!

Ashe looked entirely different. She was bigger, and her figure was decisively more developed from top to bottom--pun intended. Her eyes were also green. Ashe whipped out a purple beam saber that twisted and bent like liquid with each little movement, holding it ready at her side. Something was ... itching at her mind. She felt somehow more carefree than ever, but not in a good way. In a sort of apathetic way. ...Well that probably wouldn't be a problem. Ashe closed her eyes for a moment. "...Hope you're ready! I've got a reputation to uphold." Ashe remarked rather competitively. She then closed her eyes for a moment, focusing her strength. She could feel a battle rage welling up inside her, begging to be let out. Given the fact that they were in a battle, she figured it would be wise to trust what her body was telling her. She let the battlelust consume her train of thought.

She didn't have a clue that with her, her humanity was slipping away from her.

"Let's go!" Ashe challenged, lunging out toward Sakura and quickly attempting to overwhelm her guard with a series of quick strikes with her saber!

... However, a lingering pain from earlier wounds was distracting her. Letting her heart guide her, she drew her fist back and abruptly threw down before Sakura, driving her fist into the ground! The ground underneath Ashe errupted with beams of light, shattering the stone floor and sending rubble in various directions as they circled around her. If Sakura was paying attention, she might notice Ashe's wounds closing up behind the pillars of light. What might at first seem to be an attack was instead a defensive maneuver! She was absorbing the energy and using it to heal herself!

((Ashe's Tenshoua; Heals her for 16% and reduces the damage she takes from incoming attacks by 12% for 1 turn. If for whatever reason you touch the beams of light, you take 4% damage and are knocked back.))

Sakura pretty much realized that the had flipped the switch in giving her opponent an idea, but put it at the back of her mind as she anticipated an attack, and immediately brought out her bubble shield to block the attack.
Sakura blocks O-Saber!: 37-10(activation penalty)-23(O-Saber)=4% Shield durability remaining!

The attack was strong, almost terminating her bubble shield with that blow, though it did have the benefit of knocking Sakura back so that Ashe could heal herself. "Isn't the leader supposed to be the one with the reputation to uphold, rather than those under the leader? Either way, it looks as this fight is drawing near a conclusion,so I feel no shame in doing this neat trick whilst doing absolutely nothing else save for the appeal afterwards." Sakura said calmly, that aura of serenity glowing brighter till it was at a fever pitch, then immediately dispersed with such a bright flash that would bathe the ENTIRE ARENA in spiritual energy, washing over Ashe with intent to becalm her somewhat.
WIS ROLL: 14+4=18{Sakura activates Ad Nihilo! This does no damage whatsoever, but reduces the duration of all buffs on a target by 1 turn. Ashe's Berserk buff is reduced by one turn, Tenshoua's damage mitigation buff is cancelled out. Cooldown now in effect!}

Sakura then promptly drew her blade, and made her appeal by drawing a line between her and Ashe then entering a Kendo pose.

Ashe staggered slightly, seeming to become dizzy as her bloodlust was stolen from her. She held her head with one hand. "--..H-Huh? What'd you?" Ashe asked in confusion. She'd kind of been expecting that flashy explosion of light to hurt a bit more. "Y'know, everyone's got their own dream. Their own story. It's not about being the leader. It's about being yourself!" Ashe replied, though she sounded out of breath. The crystal on her forehead began to glow, a faint W visible within it. Ashe cried out in pain, clutching at her head with both hands now. "--...Wh-What's...happening?!" Ashe blurted out, doubling over. Her knees buckled, and she trembled with apparent weakness. It looked like she was in an intense amount of pain. And then... it all stopped. Ashe suddenly seemed to go still. A bright aura enveloped her body, shimmering with power. Ashe stood back up straight, a sick look of smug delight and wrath on her face that felt distinctly out of character. Something seemed wrong here...

Ashe rushed forward, moving to meet Sakura! She drew her blade back over her head and performed a wild overhead swing, attempting to overwhelm Sakura with immense strength!

p_1d20+5 (Ashe's O-Saber; Does 28% Damage)

Crack! Her saber crackled and deformed as it slammed into the ground, reacting explosively and shattering the ground before her, sending large chunks of rock flying at Sakura! Looking up at the other girl, Ashe stifled a snicker.  She then drew a fist back, which began to glow with an awesome power!! --Wait, no. That's not awesome that's actually really bad--

Ashe proceeded to throw her fist into the ground. The effect was near instantaneous. First, an incredible quake could be felt as energy dispersed across the arena. And then? Everything exploded. In one swift movement the entire arena floor was ripped apart by explosive bursts of energy from underneath, sending boulders flying through the air and causing massive structural damage to the arena itself.

p_1d20+2 (Ashe's CRITICAL Rekkoha; Does 45% Damage)

The arena floor itself was now broken and uneven, with deep pits and fissures running across it. The stands had partially collapsed, revealing the full extent of the damage. Half the live audience had either been trophied by the initial shockwave of the explosion or crushed by falling rubble. Standing back up, Ashe grinned at Sakura. "I am the messiah of the new world order." she stated, laughing rather carelessly at the destruction she'd caused. Yup. Definitely something wrong upstairs.

"I swear, you all should be tournament banned." The announcer mumbled into his mic... or well whatever he was using to commentate on the match. Maybe the thing was just really good at throwing his voice. Regardless, he was very bitter over... well, Ashe's good sportsmanship. "If someone didn't rage-quit and break their controller by the end of this, I'm gonna give Taboo an earful. Ruining my smash with his slipping and family friendly values."

Once the action began to pick up though, the crest emblazoned on the announcer's face began to burn brightly with invigoration. "Yes! That's it! Blood, ultra-violence, fast-paced tech fighting! This is what I'm talking abou--did the girl just go Super Saiyan?" The announcer gaped, the audience meanwhile similarly entranced and captivated by the magical girl transformation. "I'm... legitimately speechless, folks."

"...I like it!" Pumping his fist up so hard it somehow hit the skybox, the wireframe entity began to blossom in excitement. "This match is honestly beyond what I was expecting folks. So hold onto your seats, because this slow love-fest just erupted into an all out clash of blades! Better yet, it looks like the fighters are finally employing strategy. Question is: Who'll come out on top in the few minutes this match has left."

"Ashe's second wind has got her on the offensive like a mad-berserk warrior. But Sakura looks like she's countering her at every turn; blow for blow, buff for buff! How will megagirl counter?" Even after the arena began to collapse around them once Ashe unleashed a second transformation of some sort, members of the audience dropping like flies in the unearthed rubble, the announcer continued to gush. "The raw power, the competitive spite! Now this is what I call-"

The audience members who weren't trophied, crushed underneath rubble, or falling into the newly created abysses were screaming for their lives; running around every which way in a widespread panic. Some valiant toads attempted to pull free some of the trophied victims to safety, while others called for help or cried. There was much of the weeping, moaning, and gnashing of teeth. Ah, just like a real Melee.
