Arle was making her way through a familiar dungeon, long abandoned and forgotten by many who had visited it. She'd given her allies just enough information to meet her at the entrance, a very thick stone door kept locked awaited an ancient key to open it. Yet, when she drew close, Arle began to hear unexpected voices in the distance. Huh..? Had someone beaten her here? They must've been pretty fast, because she'd set right off after posting a request for help! "...Whoever would've thought the guardian's wrath would be so potent?" "...It's a miracle we were spared." "But how are we supposed to overcome it?" "We'll need to be more careful. We can't--"

"Um... Hello?"

A moment of silence followed Arle's call, followed by approaching footsteps.

A man and a woman presented themselves to Arle. Their skin was an inhuman pale blue and pale red respectively, covered in what looked like scales. One carried a crimson blade that looked heavy enough to substitute for a club in a pinch and the other a cimson scythe. "...And just how long have you been here, Little Girl..?" the woman softly asked. "Just now." Arle replied in a matter-o-fact tone, eyeing them curiously. "Are you two here to help me navigate the ancient dungeon?" Arle ever so innocently asked. The two mysterious warriors gave each other a knowing look. "...I'm afraid this dungeon's a bit over your head." the man lamented rather casually. "Why don't you hurry on back home..? It's dangerous here, you know." the woman quickly added, irritating Arle a bit. "Hey, I can handle myself, okay? I've been here before." Arle lamely protested. "...And just what interest would you have with the sacred treasure?" the woman replied, subtly testy in tone. "Oh--I already have the treasure. I just need to learn how to use it." Arle replied in a matter-o-fact tone.

"..." "..."

In an instant, something had changed. The duo's subtly patronizing disposition shifted rather quickly from surprise to intent. "In that case, I'll need you to forget why you came here and hand over the orb." the man requested rather coldly. "What??" Arle began, only to catch the man readying his blade. Oh. "Sweetie... That orb has the power to begin healing this world. It belongs in the hands of an adult." the woman coo'd, somehow intimidatingly. It was that look on her face. While her tone was gentle, her body language hinted at a thinly veiled threat. "...Try and take it, then..?" Arle reluctantly replied, giving the duo a very testy look of her own. It was clear to her that she wasn't being given an option. "Well put. Let's see if you're really all you talk yourself up to be, then!" the man remarked rather indignantly, stalking toward Arle with his blade at the ready. The woman followed him, subtly shaking her head in disappointment. Just then, voice chimed in. "She's not. ...But we are." a voice calmly corrected, distinctly familiar to everyone in the room. What appeared to be a red-clad Arle emerged from her hiding place just around the corner, staring straight through the duo's souls without acknowledging Arle. The bewildered mage watched Warle take her side. What was she doing here?

Without further talk the man lunged forward and attempted to bring his blade down on Arle, an intense aura of flame emanating from the blade as he bought it down over her. Yet, a holy blade rose to meet his. Arle had drawn and raised the goddess' sword to meet him! Taking him by surprise, Arle managed to parry his strike. A glimmer of joyful mischief was in her eyes as she met his in close proximity, their faces barely foot apart for a brief moment.

...And then she stabbed him. It was a clumsy jab, but it did manage to wound the man slightly. He staggered backward, glaring at Arle as she shook off the blow. "...Is this a joke?" the man asked, gesturing to the light wound. Apparently, Arle's poor swordplay insulted him. She could have done far worse if she were better at it. "I'm not sure. Is it?" Arle remarked in response, poking fun at him in turn.

Meanwhile, the mysterious woman attacked Warle, attempting to sweep her blade behind Warle's legs and trip her! In tandem with her strike, a ghostly skeletal figure manifested itself to strike at her in tandem with the woman. It was the grim reaper itself, reaching out to reap her soul!

((Mysterious Woman attacks with Death Scythe! It does 40% damage and has a 50% chance of doing an extra 200% damage! ...But the grim reaper has no power over Warle.))

...And she succeeds. Warle was unable to get out of the way of her scythe in time and found herself thrown to the floor, only for the grim reaper's scythe to make a wide sweep through her body! ...However, it didn't seem to do anything. Warle had suffered a rather ugly cut up the side of her boy, shredding her clothes a bit, but had otherwise been unharmed. "What--...are you?" the woman asked in alarm. Such a feat should not have been possible by any stretch of her imagination. "...Ragnarok." Warle would reply in a matter-o-fact tone after bouncing back to her feet as if she could not feel her wound. You'd expect there to be some tension at the very least, an acknowledgment of the pain if nothing else, but it seemed like she honest to goodness couldn't feel it. In fact, she smiled with only a hint of contempt in her eyes! "Also a little problem child. Isn't that right, auntie~?" she replied rather disingenuously, drawing a sneer of anger from the woman.

Galacta Knight descended in a relatively hidden area of the battlefield, dropping feathers below him before he landed to scope how the situation is being handled at the moment. It would seem... 2 Arles are currently in the middle of a battle with two Warriors from what he can gather at the moment. Though, he was truthfully lost as to who the second Arle was though the resemblance hardly seemed a coincidence. However, that was when he noticed the Arle he was familiar with pull out a sword to parry the blow. He was understandably a little surprised as his information generally lead to her being primarily a magic focused person...

Though, noticing her... sloppy swordsmanship gave him all the info he needed... Though, did not say she could not be taught. There was something... special about that sword she was utilizing though it was hard to tell from this distance. He lifted his lance skyward and prepared a magical technique. Soon after, bolts of lightning would be called down upon both the woman and man to notify the presence of another.

After alerting them he flew up and slashed with his signature pink sword like lance to call down a Knight Beam upon the Mysterious Man in front of Arle. "It would seem I arrived just in time. The two you are fighting seem strong. Strength and skill do not go hand in hand however," Galacta Knight said as he floated in the sky, not one usually for ground travel, especially in combat. He was quite a master of aerial combat so there was no real need for the ground.

There's already an ominous air within the dungeon by stepping foot into it, and it's making Lemres uneasy. He knows something is lurking there, but it's nothing like the mystery behind Arca. There's a powerful presence deep, deep in the depths, and it's going to take an entire, well-prepared party to break through. What exactly awaits them? If it scared off Schezo, then it's probably something immensely powerful.

Suddenly, From the Skies themselves, A bag-faced man descended onto the ground with an Audible Thud, Getting up and presenting himself in a Holy light, his glasses glimmering as his own Mini-skirt would ruffle, extenuating the horrors beneath it...Only to realize Choppun was staring out into nothing, As the fight between the guardians was happening behind him. Choppun scratched his head, as the Airship he '''''''Apprehended''''' flew off and crashed into the forest, Which was Choppun's ticket into this mess. He should really learn to pilot those things one of these days.


Regardless, With a Swift Turn around, Choppun came to see a Mysterious lookin' brother swinging licks at his waifu, and another girl swinging at another version of Arl---

Choppun took one look at Warle, and immediately clasped his man handles together, looking up to the sky with a single tear rolling down his paper sack of a face, wiping the tear with a subtle "Ive never been a religious man...But...Thank you." Choppun would say, before jumping up, clicking his heels once and twice, before dashing into the Fray. "FEAR NOT MY TWO BEAUTIFULL ARLE-CHAN'S, IM HERE TO HELP YOU!" Choppun said, before taking a look at Galacta knight....Meh, Better not. He looks like he'll nuke him if he copies him. He then looked at Lemres, which, didn't look like a too thrilling option. Choppun's got enough cavities, And he wore PANTS. And wouldn't you know it, Choppun left his Remilia Costume at home!


Guess he'll just have to show his love for this new Arle! With a twist and a Spin, Choppun appeared to change outfits, Now dawning a dark red variation of Arle's own Outfit, which would no doubt resemble the other Arle's presence.

"Oo, This one feels Spicy! I like it! And now, with a flick of my finger, IM GONNA MAKE SOME WACKY STUFF HAPPEN!" Choppun would say, before flicking his finger at the Mysterious Woman, Surrounding her in a sudden Hazy black void, as the slow darkness would overcome her....That was, until the darkness would reveal its true illusion, Which caused the Darkness to spin into a bright, sunshiny, bubbly whiteness, Filled to the brim with what looked to be Sugoi looking Anime Babes, Each matching the usual Anime girl tropes...This, was the worst possible outcome. Choppun's using Warle's Illusion to send a Illusion of a full Harem At her!

With that done Choppun proceeded to Skip his way up to the front lines, Raising his finger with a little circular motion. "With a one and a two and a three to the Four, Im sending these waifu hogs back to there momma's door!" He would say, before shooting a Ball of Fire, Abyss Fire to be exact, Shooting it right at the Mysterious Woman now that she;s Illusioned right up!

"Dangit man, dont blow this infront of TWO Arle's!!" She would say, as Choppun thought back. "Im doing the best i can! Lemme try this one!" Choppun would say, before trying to Shoot himself a series of Icicles at her and him as well!

With a fluttering of white silk, the White Mage appeared from the shadows of the dungeon into an attack which was already in full flurry with most of her companions jumping in to protect their assigned contact Arle and... ah, that must be Warle. A twin perhaps? An ill omen, some say, but perhaps not today.

The red-clad twin had already suffered a blow from the female assailant's terrible-looking scythe. White Mage couldn't do anything about her torn clothing, but she could at least help soothe the damage to her body. She waved a hand gracefully in the air, casting a healing spell onto Warle.

((White Mage used Cure on Warle healing 1D8 +4 = ULkhSSXTp_1d8+4 - Warle's HP increases by 12!))

She was pleased to see that the spell worked to its full effect. The damage was far from fully recovered but it was a start. White Mage realized she would have her work cut out for her mending wounds today, but she was ready for the challenge. Battles in dungeons just like this one came second-nature to a Warrior of Light like herself. To be on the safe side, she also raised her staff to cast a spell of protection over Warle to assist her defense against further attacks that might come her way. The red twin's form suddenly shimmered with light that armored her against harmful blows.

Satisfied with the amount of warding she had placed over Warle for the time being, White Mage slammed her staff on the ground and closed her eyes, centering herself. She whispered an incantation and two triplet sisters stepped out from behind her, taking perfectly synchronized steps to swap places in front of her. The three White Mages stood in a horizontal line and opened their eyes as one, raising their staffs defensively to ready for battle.

Remember when the majority of the Life-sphere missions were spread out around the continent, and only someone insane would attempt to attend all of them without any mode of transportation besides their own two legs?

He complained profusely between gasps to nobody in particular. It was honestly a miracle he had even made it to this place; what was it called? Madou Village? "Sounds. weird... Maybe if someone. Like Sonic. Was from it... People would actually visit more often." His breathing began to slowly return to normal as the teen entered the village, heading over to what seemed to be a dungeon within the village, it's entrance covered by a giant stone door. It certainly fit the description?

...also the numerous battle-cries and fighting was a good indicator as well that he was in the right place. Holding back a little as his eyes scanned over the battlefield, Shiya looked from fighter to fighter, trying to find one in specific. He had really only joined this mission for one reason, and that was because the creator's name had been awfully familiar. Strongly reinforced memories made when his psych was all but broken in the void of the mirage portals had all but engraved the name of the person that had stayed by him... "Arle." He murmured, searching from combatant to combatant.

"Green wizard...no... Meta Knight... no... ...cross-dressing bag-man?" Shiya let out an involuntary shudder, glancing at the disturbingly clothed man before hastily looking away. That was one image he didn't want engraved in his memory. Finally though, the similarly hued mage laid eyes upon the girl he had been searching for and his heart practically stuttered. There she was, dressed in the same red armor, having the same red eyes! She was real! He hadn't made her up in his emotionally broken and mentally crippled state to help adjust to a complete void!

Arle was a real person! ....A real person that was repeatedly being attacked with a swor-"Uh-Oh right! Shiya to the rescue!" Stumbling down the overhang hastily, Shiya projected a range of various blades in the air before sending them flying at the Mysterious Woman and Man, hoping to distance them both from his ACTUALLY REAL FRIEND!

"Arle, It's me! Remember me?! Shiya!?" He excitedly blurted out, smiling broadly at the doppleganger.
Taking slight notice of her counterpart, Shiya's smile stuttered. "...wait, why's there a blue you?"

Not missing a beat, he thrust out his hand to the side, turning back to face the individuals everyone was fighting. Trails of cyan EnerGy crisscrossed across his arm and hand before finally extending off of his fingertips... and wrapping back around his arm. When it was complete, Shiya was now sporting a delightfully useful portal gun!

"It's okay, I know how to use it!" He announced, as if that was supposed to be some sort of an accomplishment. Firing a blue ball of energy out of the gun at the stone door, he turned on his heel before aiming another at the Mysterious Man's feet; the two blue and orange lined ovals connecting and forming seamless portals! Charging head first into the door-portal, Shiya's foreward momentum transferred directly into upward momentum as he emerged from the ground, aiming a blade in an upward slash at the antagonistic Man. "PHYSICS!"

Arle flinched, pausing a moment to look up. Someone else had arrived? She watched several attacks fly overhead, driving the mysterious man and woman back before a pleasant sensation enveloped her body. Turning her head to address Galacta Knight and Lemres, Arle offered them both a bright smile of recognition. She'd asked for unfamiliars, but this wasn't entirely what she'd had in mind. Regardless, having people she knew made her happy, even if she knew they'd put themselves in extreme danger. "...Thanks for coming~ These guys are just a bunch of crooks getting in the way." Arle responded, sending derisive look in the two's direction. ...And then that pervert showed up. This was also not what She'd had in mind, drawing a resentful look from across the room. She almost wished she could just face this alone, rather than having Choppun watching her back. Could she trust him to keep his hands off her? ...No, not even a little. That was a stupid thing to trust in, but did that mean he'd try something? Well, no. And she couldn't really keep an eye on him either. This was no time to hedge her bets! Both Arles were glaring at Choppun, silently resolving to give him an extra fireball if he made a move on them.

Shin!Arle found herself distracted, however, by a soothing sensation traveling over her body. She shifted her gaze to acknowledge White Mage. There was a certain coldness in her gaze, a lack of recognition that was perhaps understandable. However, after getting a good look at the other she smiled softly at White Mage. It was a weak smile, but noticeably warmer and more relaxed. It was her own silent thanks, which would have to do because their enemies weren't waiting around for them to have greetings! The Mysterious Woman lunged past, making a beeline right for Lemrers! I seemed like he was next in the pecking order! With a wide swing of her scythe, she attempted to cleave into him.

Without missing a beat, she promptly shifted just enough to throw a hand over her shoulder at Galacta Knight. A ball of condensed flames shot out to intercept him and send him flying into the wall! The blast would violently explode on impact, threatening a couple of people nearby.

But Arle was thrown by the explosion! The mage winced but quickly picked herself up. Nearby, the mysterious man summoned a barrier to protect himself and Menardi! He then promptly lunged at Choppun, taking this opportunity to attempt to ruin his new outfit with a fiery slice from his blade! "Find your tongue and hold it, lest it becomes a casualty." the mysterious man scolded in mild annoyance, apparently provoked by Choppun's incessant joking around.

Just when things were heating up again, Shiya's projection assault once again drove the mysterious couple back. Turning her head, Shin!Arle offered him a light smile of recognition. "...How could I forget~?" she replied somewhat light-heartedly. "It's... a bit of a long story. My soul was ripped apart, but the pieces... 'got better'." she replied, gesturing ever so casually to Arle and earning herself a not-sure-if-she-should-be-offended glance from the blue mage. "Why'd you come here..? Didn't you know this mission was going to be really dangerous..?" she softly asked. It seemed like she regretted putting Shiya in all of this danger.

"...If you're both done, we'd like to interject."
"That artifact isn't for idiots like you."
"Children too young to know what they're doing... and wretches who don't care."
"How could you ever hope to be the future of this world? You'll sooner destroy us all, and I won't give you the chance."

At that, the ground began to rumble. Their only warning was how intense the rumbling was, but four pillars of orange hot flames were about to burst from underneath them, flash frying anyone caught in its intense blaze!

Lunging out of the way, Arle recoiled slightly as the intense heat washed over her. Phew! Working up a sweat already. Before she could even recover though, the mysterious woman chimed in with a combo attack! In the cramped corridor, the groups' options for dodging were non-existent. They'd have to withstand the blast, somehow.

The two Arles summoned translucent barriers to absorb the blow, the shattered pieces of the barrier flying past them before harmlessly dissipating as the shockwave washed around them without ever quite hitting them. Hoo boy. That was scary. They could both feel how close they'd come to dying right then and there. "...Rejuvenate." Shin!Arle softly incanted, taking the opportunity to heal herself a bit. Arle very briefly glanced behind herself to observe what had just transpired before promptly becoming a lot more stern. Meanwhile, producing the seraphim orb. It glimmered magically in the dimly lit corridor. At this, Shin!Arle turned her head. Was she really going to use that thing? A moment of tension would pass before Arle promptly entered a full-on Sailor Moon esque magical girl transformation indicating that, yes, she was going to use this thing. When it all ended, she was now in a set of golden armor, with her clothes underneath having turned a lighter cyan to match it. Shin!Arle watched in silent approval. --Hey, don't get any ideas! It's her body! She'd always known Arle didn't need a patron deity to take this form. She was strong enough to fuel it with her own magic if she believed in herself.

"I think you're being a little presumptuous, but if that's how you feel--well... Try it!"

With that, Arle shot across the hall, using her wings to propel herself in the narrow corridor with newfound speed. Trapped in momentary shock and horror that Arle did in fact know how to use the orb--or so it seemed--the mysterious man stood frozen as Arle plowed into him. He found himself slammed into the back of the corridor, a painful blow only made worse as Arle drove her sword straight through him, impaling him up against the wall. The mage-knight partially averted her eyes from her own blow. Boy, that was gruesome. After the wall had finished absorbing all of her momentum she bounced back off of the mystery man, leaving him hanging by his wound from the wall.

He was vulnerable.

Meanwhile, Shin!Arle's gaze shifted to the mysterious woman as the other cried out. "Brother!" "...Purge." Shin!Arle calmly incanted. Magic reached out to grasp the protective barrier surrounding her body, shattering it into a million brilliant pieces. "You're--..." she breathlessly began. "Just gonna let them deal with you." Shin!Arle casually interrupted. "I made a promise to someone a lot better than you that I'd stop hurting people, so..." she went on to remark rather half-heartedly as if expecting the other to understand. The mysterious woman simply seemed insulted by the pacifist gesture.

Lemres said, coming to notice the others showing up to strengthen the forces. Strength in numbers, right? But numbers might mean little if those attacks are likely to be fatal if they ever so graze anyone...

While he dodged successfully, it was cutting a tad close for comfort, nicking the brim of his hat. Geez, how huge was that scythe attack? If that thing were to hit, Lemres may have been down for the count. Goes to show how deadly the forces they're up against are, though. There wasn't much time to reposition himself though, there was another attack coming at one of the teammates and he's going to get caught in the blast range if he doesn't move!

But alas, he was a tad too slow. Like Arle, it flung him back, and flat on the ground. Ouch. Confiture softened the blow, but barely getting caught wasn't a good feeling. As he pulled himself up, he saw a barrier generate, causing a troubled look to form on his face. Holding back on power isn't going to be an option anymore, Lemres needs to focus on his power to deliver a strong blow. But enough dawdling, there's another attack coming at him from below!

But Lemres was rather keen, rolling out of harm's way and avoiding damage without breaking a sweat. However, while the flames did not phase him, the last attack looked like something he can't avoid if he tried, and would easily trash him to pieces. As much as he wished he could just shrug it off, he's not the most physically resilient guy in the world. He's got great power, but not so great defenses. Galacta Knight gave a nod to Arle as it appears more backup has arrived to aide them in the war inside the ruins. The first was some wizard man, then an... Arle Cosplayer? Very annoying. A mage that looked to be of the White Magic clan. Finally there was... the very infamous Shiya who seemed to have some bond with the other Arle. The swordsman shifted his mind back to battle and just in time to spot an energy blast flying right at him. Any slower man would of been struck and blasted, but he was no ordinary fighter. He swiftly flew around the projectile, leaving it to explode behind him.

However he noticed that Arle was not so fortunate. Still, not enough time for much concern as he sensed a familiar attack, an attack similar to one of his own. He managed to evade that too with precise timing. Though this was preceded by a powerful blast of magic which the Knight had no choice but to put out his shield and absorb the blow with all his might...

And from the remains of the blast, it seemed like Galacta Knight was unphased as he moved his shield out of the way having absorbed the blow entirely for himself. "Hm. Not bad. I am still at peak condition however," Galacta Knight stated... before watching as Arle suddenly took on a more knightly appearance and surprisingly managed to deal a mortal wound to the opposition. "... Maybe you can be taught afterall," Galacta Knight said to himself with a smile under his mask before looking to the two fighters. Right, time to unleash his own skills. Galacta Knight lifts his lance up before soaring at the woman and performing a brutal piercing strike of his own to cut right through, probably leaving a deep mark.

The Knight then flies back swiftly and stabs his blade into the air... Though strangely, he seemed to create some mark where he stabbed as if he stabbed a hole in space. Creating more interdimensional problems, Galacta Knight flew up with his lance still out as he cut open some rift in the very air itself. Soon after, a giant purple laser fired forth from the rift and destroyed anyone that was marked as an enemy to Galacta Knight, the beam seeming to ignore allies as if they weren't there, holes in the beat forming in those spots. The hole in space closed itself soon after the beam was fired.

Choppun was quite taken a back as powerful blows and  Exchanges going about. Gee Willikers, Everyone wanted a slice of these Mysterious Peoples Pie's, Huh? there was some weird Wizard, some weird guy in red robes, A Cutie in White Robes--Choppun, No. And even a pink marshmallow wearing a mask!...Seems like quite the powerful sport he is indeed. Choppun immediately hit the floor, Yelping as he covered his head, Managing to Swooce himself past the Man's legs and hop up, Pretending as if he Teleported. "Nya-Hah! This Mysterious Red Arle's Outfit is too precious for your stupid blade to go hitting me!" Choppun said, Sticking his lower eyelid down with his tounge flailing out the bottom of his head.

"Ok, You avoided One Attack. You still have to beat them, and considering your last fireball couldn't cook a steak, let alone burn them, I dont think you're gonna get that much."

Choppun would say, Clearly begging for a fireball to the face.

"Buuut, Before i do that...Arle-Chan, Catch my lovely healing magic of pure love~!" Choppun would yell, Which would probably encite a vomit from the audience, as he Cast Rejuvinate onto the slightly wounded Arle!...Probably a good time to cringe!

His heart practically swelling, Shiya turned to partially face Arle as he ran at the wall, catching her response as his cheeks lightly flushed in response. She DID recognize him... and she was concerned about him!? " O-Oh! I-uh... I mean, don't worry Arle! I'll do everything in my power to he-" Shiya's cute reassurance was cut short abruptly as he somehow managed to miss the fairly large portal he made completely, instead face-planting into the wall with a loud THWACK.

...

Crumpling to the side, his eyes watering, Shiya stumbled through the ACTUAL portal before falling to a disoriented heap at the feet of his original target.

"I-I....meant to... do that...." He weakly squeaked, holding back tears as the mage slowly stood back up.

Thankfully, that oddly timed maneuver had resulted in Shiya not only missing the giant blast of hell-fire that rose up from the ground targeting everyone else, but also the Mysterious Woman's deadly supernova that honestly should've toasted the boy to a crisp! His bad luck was starting to look like good luck!

Finally managing to regain his bearings, Shiya looked up just in time to see the gruesomely pinned man on the wall down the corridor. "D-Did I do that...?" He muttered, still a bit unsure what happened before noticing everyone starting to gang up on the woman that had her protective barrier broken. "Nice job, Arle! Now, while Meta Kirby and that other guy take care of her...."

Charging foreward, Shiya lunged at the man against the wall; EnerGy flowed through his limbs, reinforcing them as the mage-turned-brawler launched into an all-out barrage of punches at the Mysterious Man. "I'll take YOU on!"

White Mage should've realized what was happening beneath her feet but alas, she and her two illusionary copies were all consumed in three identical columns of fire.

By the time the eruptions subsided back into the earth, White Mage was lying on a scorched patch and her burnt robes were smoking. She slowly got back onto her feet, alone with no illusions to protect her, and started wiping the black soot from her face so she could give the two adversaries a challenging scowl...

"Is that... it?" She called out to no one in particular, "It will take... more than that to bring me down!" She wasn't great at game-talk, but everyone  else seemed to be going for it so she figured, why not? Unfortunately, they had more than that attack ready for her and the female adversary cast a fiery blast spell. She didn't have enough time to prepare herself for it.

By some blessing of the Aeons, she withstood the blast. She wasn't sure how... but whatever it was it gave her the confidence to fight on. She stood to her full height and cast a group healing spell to help everyone recover slightly from their wounds.

" . . . You're terrible at this." the mysterious man choked out from his position pinned up against the wall. The dying man was just kind of watching Shiya hit him without really budging. Y'know, because he couldn't. Shiya's blows didn't seem to do anything though, and neither did White Mage's Smite. Apparently, they weren't evil aligned. ...Huh. "Must I finish myself??" he went on to demand, appalled that no one had taken advantage of his current state, instead beating up his sister in front of him.

And then, he grasped the goddess sword and proceeded to pull it free from his gut.

Oh. The first thing the man did was take an uninspired swing at Shiya with the bloodied blade. Either Shiya would have to get out of his way or he'd be cut down, which suited him just fine.

Shin!Arle is consumed by fire. She made the mistake of moving to try and back Shiya up, provoking the man's attention. Those burns on her body looked like they hurt, a lot.  As she cleared the flames, she staggered and fell onto her hands and knees. Though she was filled with determination to move on, her body was crying out leniency. Meanwhile, the mysterious woman moved to intercept Galacta Knight. She had a grim look of acceptance on her face. Even as her body failed her and the life drained from her eyes, she faced death with courage. As if her life didn't matter.

...Almost feels familiar, huh Galacta Knight? Almost like killing heroes~?

"We are superior in every way, and yet victory is out of our reach." the mysterious woman lamented, taking a swing at Galacta Knight.

And then--she clumsily staggered forward, recklessly taking another swing! Hey hold on, that's not fair!

However, her wounds proved to be too much for her. When she tried to once again pursue Galacta Knight for a third desperate swing, her legs gave out from under her and she topped over! In a final act of spite, she calls upon fire to burn the room with everyone in it!

As the fire began to consume the area, Shin!Arle abruptly shifted to address White Mage. Just kinda suddenly face to face with the orange glow of doom behind her, Shin!Arle gently yet firmly grasped White Mage's shoulders. "...Please forgive me for this." she softly requested. Hey, why did she look so guilty?? What was she going to--...Shin!Arle produces a cookpot and leaned in close as if to give White Mage a smooch. What actually happened was arguably even weirder though. She proceeded to pull White Mage into her, rather comically swallowing the other whole! There was some moderate shrinking involved to make this happen without either of them getting hurt, but next thing White Mage knew she'd be dropped into the rather cramped belly of one she'd been sent to protect. Oh gross!

((White Mage! ...You've been eaten by a friend, using an item from your own series! Probably not your proudest moment. You can still use your attacks and abilities, but unless they're disjointed magic [see: int targeting attacks basically] you'll probably only be able to hit shin!Arle with them for obvious reasons. On the bright side, most attacks won't be able to target you while you're in there! If you understandably want out, you can either fight your way out or y'know--ask. You're not in any immediate danger of being harmed though.))

...Shortly after doing this, the flames washed over Shin!Arle. White Mage could feel the heat and the way Shin!Arle's body shuddered in pain around her, but it was like being close to the fireplace instead of in the fire. It might suddenly become clear why Shin!Arle had done this. It was for protection purposes! ...Apparently, this was her admittedly icky way off trying to pay the other back. Shin!Arle herself kind of resented having to do that, though. "Sorry, sorry... Are you okay?" Shin!Arle softly asked, looking down at her midsection in concern. She just hoped no one saw that and freaked out. She could deal with White Mage hating her for this, but if other people started blasting her over it she was going to be pissed. Admittedly, it would have been easy to miss. It happened in but a moment and all the walls of fire around were heavily obscuring many characters lines of sight. Now that it had happened, she did look noticeably more... bloated than her blue counterpart though. Speaking of Arle though, she couldn't see her! Where was she at??


...Meanwhile...


Arle and the mysterious man found themselves wedged between two walls of fire on either side of them. The mage flinched, observing the roaring fires on either side of her. She was already being cooked alive where she stood, and there was no place to dodge that wouldn't just make things worse! The wounded man was doing a sort of limping run toward her. Oh boy--she was about to get stabbed if she didn't think fast. Rather than trying to dodge, Arle projected a holy shield around herself to absorb the blow! Taking advantage of the opening she created for herself, Arle would begin to incant. "Megawave!" she shouted. Several bright flashes and a few very sharp, loud booms could be heard as lightning shot straight through the dungeon ceiling and struck the mysterious man.

The ensuing shockwave seemed to dissipate all the fire, and when the flames cleared the mysterious man's charred form laid on his knees before Arle, both of their bodies kinda smoking a bit from being burned, but one of them clearly in much worse condition. The mysterious woman was also trophied nearby. The man was mostly still, save for his mouth--of course. His voice was raspy and devoid of strength. " . . . You could destroy us all with that thing . . . " he warned. "...Yeah, but I'm not gonna. I'm not going to leave you here to be forgotten either. Maybe next time you can be cool and not try to fight me over it." Arle snapped in reply, poking a giant hole in the notion that she was going to do anything particularly evil on this day. "...I didn't lose to you. I lost to your friends." the mysterious man indignantly replied, earning himself a roll of Arle's eyes. He was too arrogant to see that this wasn't about his pride. Though, he was just begging to be cherry tapped with that stupid attitude of his at his point. Far be it from her not to oblige. Honestly, she was pretty sure he was in incredible pain right now. It would be merciful to trophy him until they could get him to a hospital. "--...Whatever. Give defeat a kiss for me, alright~?" Arle replied rather dismissively. That was an oddly specific request for her to make out of context. As she said this, she turned and threw her hip into the fallen man in an almost playful manner. A small yet explosive burst of holy magic could be observed as she made contact, throwing him onto his back and trophying him before he hit the ground.

She then turned her attention to the rest of the group and began doing a headcount. Both the people who had attacked her were now trophified. She took a moment to heal Shin!Arle since her other half was looking pretty messed up...

Choppun Was, Without Question, Blasted away by the Mysterious man's Pyroclasm energy, Sending the Poor Geek hurtling to a wall and smashing himself on the wall in the Shape of, what looked to be Modern Art, Slooowly Peeling himself off the wall as he floated down and landed on the floor with a pathetic "Fwoompf!", Rectified by him popping up with incredible Form. "Im Still Alive! Dont count me out yet!" Choppun would, Unfortunately, Inform everyone else that he was still alive, as he peered to see the Flare Storm heading riiight at him! Choppun just kinda presented himself, Breast-plate first in hopes it would defend him...!

Yet again, Choppun would get sent hurtling across the Map, This time imprinting a Choppun-shaped Hole in the wall, Making Choppun groan as he slithered out of his hole, Glasses Askew to reveal-- How does that bag not have eye holes?? Too weird, Too weird, Abort!

"M-mama, I see the light!! It kinda looks like when arle tries to shoot fire balls at me..."

"Call me mama again and im leaving you to die of insanity."


Unfortunately, Choppun lived to see the end of the fight, as he Slopped himself over to the victory group, Lifting himself up with a Victory Peace Sign. "Great work guys! Now someone shove some healing magic in Red Arle's face!" Choppun seemed to demand, Since his healing magic was on a cooldown by now.

Oh the woes of having rather frail defenses, he can't tank even a magical hellfire. Yet, amidst Lemres' charge, the foes that he was about to bombard down had already fallen. Well. That was awkward. At least with this time of respite. Lemres could instead use the Double Creme charge to heal Warle and recoup. Lemres feels their presence is more important, so he opted to give the heal to them, even in spite of his rather disgustingly charred condition.
