It's'a MEEEEE!

The setting is a run down Toad Town that has somehow found itself on hellfire. The green spirit flames were beginning to consume one of the squares, a large flame monster at the center of it all. The so-called ember appeared to be wildly flinging flames about, generally being an inconsiderate guest about the town. However, if one paid attention they would notice that the ember seemed to be focusing on something--...or someone. Two young ladies in rather poor condition found themselves facing off against the mighty ember. White carried Black into one of the abandoned toad houses on her back, sprinting as hard as she could to get there before either of them got hurt any worse than they already were. Black was barely able to walk on her own, having been plagued by a mysterious sickness that had only been getting worse during their stay. She was starting to get very worried about the other. What if she didn't recover..? It was starting to look like that was a realisitc concern, after all! She didn't want to go back to traveling alone... Not here. Setting Rosa down, White ignored the pain radiating from her legs and began checking her companion over. "O-oh, Touko... I think I'm going to be sick." Black remarked rather weakly, tenderly holding a hand to her lips as if to stifle the urge to throw up. ...White flinched, drawing back slightly. "...I get the feeling this place is abandoned anyway." White reassured the other. "Nooo, I need you to hold my hairrraaaAAAA!! Fire!" Rosa whined in response before abruptly squealing. She pointed behind Touko, drawing the other's attention.

"Ooh--woah! ...Okay, it definitely found us."

White turned to spot a large yellow eye watching her through a miraculously intact window. Well, at least it couldn't get inside... Taking a deep breath, White found the scent of something burning greeting her nostrils. Oh... Oh right. Fire was a problem. "...Okaaay, so maybe hiding here wasn't such a good idea." White lamented in frustration. Turning back to Rosa, she found the other girl hugging her knees in despair on the floor. White weakly moved over to her and bent over to lay a hand on her shoulder. "...C'mon, we have to go. It's burning the house down." White encouraged rather softly. "...I can't." Black replied, beginning to sob. Seeing this hurt White. She remembered Black being stronger than this, but look what this world was doing to her? White reluctantly gave into the pain and sat down next to Black. Her body hurt too much to carry the other much farther. ...But, she refused to leave her here. She just had to convince Black to push herself a bit harder, and hope it didn't kill them. Their pokemon weren't doing much better than they were, and fighting the ember had proven to be a losing battle.


...Meanwhile...

"Oh no... It looks like they're trapped in that building! I'm sorry for asking this of you, Miss, but can you help me save the town? I don't know what I can do, but I bet Princess Peach would want me to believe in myself...

((Dawn! You're in Toad Town Square! The ember is not aware of you yet, but is directly ahead attempting to burn down a house.))

Space avatar threatening to destroy the world? Peachy, she's totally got that down pat.

"RAMPAGING DEMONIC FIRE POKEMON IS WHERE I DRAW THE LINE!"

Groaning to herself, complaining to really no one in particular except the tiny palkia resting on her cap, Dawn's eyes glowed in fright while reflecting the light of the burning town. When she had said that she would help the tiny star thing help some people, she must have forgotten the part mentioned where the giant, demonic fire pokemon was running loose. "Ugh... I wish I stayed in Twinleaf."


Well, at least the fire Phantom Ember so far hadn't seen her. By the looks of things it was focusing on a specific house... which was probably where the hurt trainers were. Reaching her hand down to her belt, Dawn fingered through the two pokeballs pocketed there before snatching up the furthest of the two. "Piplup! Wakey wakey!"

In a flash of scarlet as the pokeball struck the ground, the cyan penguin Pokemon that Dawn called her starter now stood in all its adorable glory. With a happy and carefree expression, the unaware starter looked up to face it's new oppone-

"Pi-Pipluuup~"

"Alrighty Piplup! You run across town and distract that thing while I get to the house." Dawn explained, pumping her fist in the air while the pyro frightened Pokemon was still in a relative state of shock. "Ready? Break!" Dashing to the right and around a row of mushroom houses until she was obscured from view, Dawn planned to sneak between the buildings while the poor water starter brought on the attention of the Phantom Ember.

Shakily running as fast as its stubby feet could carry it, Piplup gulped a big breath of air before it's beak began glowing a bright blue energy. "P-P-Piplup!"

Firing off two flurries of glaring bubbles in a stream at the flaming beast, Piplup hoped to attract its attention before straight turning on its feet and running in the opposite direction, its tail literally tucked inbetween its legs. "PIP! LUUUUUUUP!"

...The Phantom Ember is hit by Piplup's first bubble beam attack...

It then immediately swerves out of the way of the followup. The ember spits a glob of fiery ew at the front of the house, setting the door on fire as if the spit were lava. It then began to chase Piplup! ... ... ... Only to take notice of the girl not running away from it. It spits a fireball at Dawn in retaliation, apparently far too evil to be concerned with who exactly had attacked it.

Barely taking notice of the Phantom Ember noticing her, Dawn barely had even a moment's time to dodge out of the way as an enormous ball of flame impacted the ground where he stood merely seconds ago. Eyes widening in fear for moments before darting back at the panicking Piplup, her own expression began erupting into a fire of its own.

"Dang it Piplup. YOU HAD ONE JOB! ONE JOB!!!"

Thankfully avoiding the near-death experience, Dawn shook her fist in irritation at her adorably scared companion before shouting more orders at him. "Keep it occupied, dummy! Use Rain Dance to start putting out these fires, then use Whirl Pool!" Turning on her heel before forgoing any other pretenses of stealth, Dawn broke into a full on sprint towards the dangerously burning building while entrusting her safety to the tiny penguin pokefriend~

"P-Piplup!" Saluting Dawn with one flipper, Piplup too turned around the face the demonic fire before quivering its tail. Hopping from foot to foot in a weird dance of sorts, rain soon began falling down before soon a steady drizzle began pouring onto the town! It certainly wasn't enough to put out any fires... but it certainly helped contain them!

Feeling itself empowered by the more natural element, Piplup wrinkled its beak before its eyes slanted into a more determined look. Letting out a stream of now water in an explosive fury at the Phantom Ember, the demonic emerald fire monster would soon find itself being encircled by the rapids that did not fade but posed to entrap it!

Meanwhile still focused on rescuing the idiot pokemon trainers or whatever that had decided it smart to hide in a burning building, Dawn looked on in dismay as the fiery attacks from the beast had set the front door ablaze. Looking around for some other way to get inside, an idea struck her brain as the girl felt a fidget atop her cap. "Paaaaa~" an adorable yawn echoed out as the small Dragon stretched itself, awakening due to the ruckus. Bending its head down to stare into Dawn's eyes, an idea began forming.

"Hehehe. Hey Cinnawonn~ How about you help me out and check in with those hurt people okay~?" Gently reaching up with both of her arms to cradle the small, armored Pokemon in her hands, Dawn patted the Palkia on its head with a grin once for good measure before cocking her arm back. "Tuck and roll, sweetie!" Swinging her arm foreward before releasing the still smiling legendary, the beast Pokemon was pelted through the rain before shattering as it broke past the Toad House's window.

Flying through the window, the shattering glass causing a loud noise as it scratched against the sides of his armor, Cinnawonn bounced once, then twice on the floor before skidding to a halt in front of the severely fatigued trainers. "..." Tilting its head up as it landed on its bottom, the adorably safe creature let out another yawn at the duo, apparently still drowsy!

"Paaaal~?"

The phantom ember eyes Dawn aggressively, only for the sound of hissing to be heard as rain began to pitter patter down onto its ethereal body, followed by a large whirlpool forming around it! ...For a moment it might seem as if the ember was trapped, but then ....it flew out. The ember floated above the whirlpool, apparently unfazed by the attempt at grappling its spectral form. Sir, I am a ghost. It then rushed piplup, burning a path of fiery destruction in its wake!

((Piplup! The phantom ember has been successfully distracted! It now wants you very much burnt! Roll 14+ to avoid its fiery body as it rushes you. Else, take 20% damage with a 50% chance of burn))

Meanwhile...





Crash! Touko jumped and Rosa gingerly wiped the tears from her eyes as the sound of breaking glass startled them. The flustered touko stood up and observed... "...A pokemon?" she asked, bewildered by this turn of events. Touko staggers forward and crouches down next to Palkia, wincing a bit as her legs strained. She promptly decided to sit instead. "...Can you help us? My friend and I are in a lot of danger." White would softly question after a moment. "What kind of pokemon is it..?" Rosa sniffled out, unable to see because she was still working on clearing her eyes. "I'unno. Looks ... spacey."

Okay, so blowing bubbles at the thing wasn't working... whirl pool wasn't trapping it... and any attempts at physical attacks would probably end up with the Phantom Ember no worse for wear and Piplup with very serious burns... this only left one option for the poor penguin.

"PIPLUUUUUP!"

Running away.

Blowing another blast of his bubble beam at the fiery demon-like pokemon, Piplup had really no choice but to keep distracting it while drawing it away. Hopefully his trainer would finish rescuing those other humans soon! The little guy could  only keep dodging for so long!

MEANWHILE

"WOAAAAH! OOF-"

Falling rather ungracefully after carefully lifting herself through the shattered window, Dawn fell with a thump onto the dusty ground before spying the 2 girls gawking at her Palkia.

"...Good boy? ..that's not exactly helping though, Cinnawonn."

Pushing herself back to a standing position before reaching back to dust off her back skirt, Dawn quickly rushed over to Touko before scooping up Cinnawonn protectively into her arms and depositing the cute pokemon into her pocket. "Hi! I'm Dawn; but let's leave introductions until AFTER we're safe, okay?!" Spotting Rosa looking not in the best condition, as well as Touko to a lesser degree, a look of worry overcame the girl's expression.

"Can you guys stand? We kiiinda need to leave quickly, not sure how long Piplup can hold that pokemon off."

...Oh hey, a girl! Touko's eyes widened as Dawn entered. For a moment she was taken back. They'd already had their first run in with the infected, but they didn't usually look quite this ... normal. In fact, this girl wouldn't look out of place in their world! Rosa had been Touko's only human company for some time now. Seeing Dawn brought a smile to Touko's face without her even realizing it. The tension drained out of her body, or at least the top half of her body. Her legs hurt too much to relax. "My friend can't, and I think I'm on my last legs. Our pokemon aren't doing a whole lot better, but if you need us to we'll give fighting our best shot." Touko replied. Although she was smiling, one could still observe the very labored way she moved as she went back to gently grasp Rosa's shoulder. The shorter trainer was eyeing Dawn in apparent amazement. "...I've gotta be dreaming..." she mumbled rather feverishly. It looked like Touko was in the process of trying to pick her back up for carrying purposes.



Meanwhile, the flame monster gets frustrated by Piplup's persistent dodging and attempts to bring him back to it by rapidly inhaling! A vacuum of rapidly moving air drags at piplup, halting him in place and beginning to drag him backwards!

The Phantom Flame's attempts at reeling Piplup into its fiery maw fell short as the agile bird not only maneuvered out of the way of the attack once more, but also prepped itself for attacking once more!

Blasting one more wave of bubbles at the flaming behemoth, a torrent of water sparkled within its beaks before shooting out in a spiraling mass. Apparently the little guy was attempting to entrap the fire beast once more in a whirl pool and even more bubbles! He has the type advantage; Water is supposed to beat fire right!?

Dawn was honestly at the end of her rope here. By the way the flame consumed building was being engulfed and the eery creaks sounding every so often, it seemed like they didn't have a lot of time before this house collapsed. Rosa was on the floor looking like she could barely talk, let alone walk, and Touko wasn't too far behind...

"AH JEEZ! Why do I keep getting myself into messes like these?"

"Pal~" Cinnawonn happily contributed, lolling along in the girl's pocket as the last dregs of its sleepy daze faded away. Now it was simply happy for the new environment, albeit it could sense the tension in the air. Normally quite happy to hear the small pokemon's chirps, now was not one of those times as the frustrated girl was practically at her end of the rope. "Not now Cinnawonn! I'm thinking on how to get these girls out... 

Suddenly an idea struck as Dawn's eyes lit up, trailing down towards the cooing chibi on her clothes. "That's it!" Grabbing the Palkia between her palms before carefully extracting it from her person, Dawn motioned a thumbs up with her hands while stepping back. "Okay Cinnawonn~ Grow big." Grinning back at the girls over her "brilliant" idea, Dawn really quick snapped her head back to the pokemon already glowing purple as space warped. "Oh! But not bigger than the ceiling!"

Nodding as if understanding Dawn's direction vaguely, a rend in space began forming around Palkia as its shape began growing. Its cute and chibi body began growing longer, sharper, less cute and more dangerous until there stood a monstrous legendary pokemon not even at its full height!

"PAAAAAAAAAAWR!"

The large Palkia roared as it reared its long head nearly poking at the roof of the mushroom house! Turning around with a smirk on her face, Dawn skipped back over all the while grinning to Rosa before stooping down to help Touko pick her up. "Heh. Neat trick, huh?" The trainer bragged before waving at her rowdy legendary to stoop lower. "Alrighty, just leave it to me and get on Cinnawonn's back."

Bending her knees to hold the much taller girl's weight, Dawn would hopefully not be put under too much pressure as she attempted to support the fatigued girl while leading her to the Palkia. Should they be able to all get on it, with a point of a finger Dawn would order the rambunctious beast to charge clean, out through the front wall! "CHARGE!"

"...I have to admit. I've never seen a steel type pokemon do anything like that before." Touko admitted, humoring Dawn's bragging. Now, Palkia wasn't actually a steel type. It's metallic armoring had simply confused Touko and led to an incorrect guess. Touko was a little surprised when Dawn offered to help her with Rosa, ...probably about as surprised as she was to see Palkia growing like that. She didn't complain though. Straining her muscles was a sea of pain for her right now and having Dawn help might just save them. Instead, she aided Dawn in getting Rosa into her arms. Luckily for Dawn, Rosa wasn't that much bigger than her and was quite light-weight for an entire person, in no part thanks to the lack of food the two had endured for a while now. Lifting her in a pinch wasn't the biggest challenge.






Meanwhile, Rosa just sort of looked up at Dawn when she was picked up and her eyes went wide with realization. "...It is you. Dawn--I've seen some of your contests!" Rosa weakly remarked. If one paid attention to Touko's expression, there was a hint of surprise at this revelation. She supposed it made sense that Black would be interested in pokemon contests. When Black was brought to Palkia, she slid onto the pokemon's back and managed to sit up in front of Dawn. Touko waited until the two others were situated before climbing on in back of Dawn. Now, Touko wasn't oblivious. She could see that things were about to get rough. One of them could get seriously hurt if they didn't at least try and protect themselves. "Hold on tight." White ordered. Black, in particular, clung to Dawn for dear life in response. It might seem rather silly, but the debris coming down around them would be extremely lethal due to it's enormous weight alone and if their weakened bodies couldn't hold on and they fell off during the impact... Well--They'd likely die. So not very silly, really.

The impact shook both girls to their core, but thankfully Touko still had the strength to resist it. Rosa, however, groaned in distress as the shock of impact cut through her like shattered wood. ...Nope wait--A piece of shattered wood had hit her. Dawn could feel the strength leaving Rosa's arms as consciousness became a struggle. If Dawn didn't take it upon herself to hold Rosa upright, she might just fall off.

Meanwhile Touko, who was handling things a lot better, grabbed a pokeball and tossed it to reveal...

A cofagrigus appears in the air before the group! "Go, Cofagrigus! Help Piplup out with Night Shade!" White ordered.

...As far as the phantom ember was concerned, the world began to twist and melt around it like some sort of hellish acid trip. One could see it hesitate as Piplup appeared to grow hundreds of times its normal size until the pokemon towered above it. If embers could scream, it probably would. None of this was actually happening, of course, except the part where the ember cowered in front of Piplup for once. It was at this point that rain dance let up. ...Huh. Piplup probably needed that to get an edge on the ember. "...Was that Rain Dance? Cofagrigus, roleplay!" Touko went on to command, the coffin Pokemon performing a familiar looking dance before the rain came right back. It looked like Touko had bought Piplup another 3 turns of rain!

In spite of this, one could see that Touko was pushing herself and her pokemon beyond their limits. They wouldn't be able to keep this up for very long.

As Dawn was helping Rosa up and towards their getaway 'Mon, the azure haired youth was at quite a loss being faced with this sudden recognition. Nervously blushing before offering Rosa an awkward sideways glance, Dawn was honestly at a loss for words.

"Y-You recognized me from my contests? Thanks. I guess."

Maybe she would have preferred more to be recognized as the Sinnoh League Champion... but hey, beggars can't be choosers right? "I only really did a few contests as a side thing... but I'm glad to have a fan! I haven't really had much time to enter in any since becoming Champion though." Helping hoist Rosa up onto Cinnawonn's back before herself climbing on in front of the fatigued trainer.

When the Palkia had done the deed and burst through the building rather roughly, causing it to collapse no-less, Dawn made sure to hold on tightly in order to keep Rosa from falling off the side as stray debris pelted the three from overhead. Turning back to Touko as she sent out her pokemon, the already overworked girl greatly appreciated the added help since Piplup had doing so much of the work so far. "Thanks! Let's finish this thing off."

Holding Rosa tightly to her side as the excited Palkia began slowing down while they neared the Phantom Ember, Dawn waved her free hand to attract the attention of her Piplup.

"Alright Piplup! Go in for one more bubble beam!"

Pressing down on the girl's back, Dawn dug her hand into the Palkia's flesh quite roughly before hooking her fingers around its armored plates. "Alright everyone. Hold on tight... and your breathes too maybe~"

"PIPLUP! FINISH IT OFF WITH HYRDO VORTEX!"

The sounds of rushing waters filled everyone's ears as for a second it looked as if nothing had happened... but then suddenly the previously ordinary Piplup began glowing with a fierce yellow glow. The energy swirling within it seemed to almost transfer from Dawn's finger point as she too began glowing with a strange golden aura. Within seconds Piplup felt a rush a power beyond that of its little body could take, and the accumulating Z Energy the penguin pokemon surrounded itself in exploded into a violent torrent of floods!

(Hydro Vortex: DMG 80%-->85% AoE; 20% Chance inflict Suffocation)

As the penguin pokemon seemed to turn into a flood itself as water erupted everywhere, The Phantom ember as well as everyone seemingly as far as the eye could see were submerged under sever yards of roaring liquids. Atop of the fiery antagonist a swirling cyclone began growing, tossing and turning its victim inside while Dawn tried her best not to get swept into it! If it weren't for Cinnawonn having been quite the heavy beast and digging its feet into the ground, they probably would have been swept away as well!

".........overdoing it much? ...........well at least the fires got put out."

It wasn't until all the water had finally drained away to... wherever it had come from that Dawn took a much needed deep breath. Releasing her tight grips on Rosa and Touko, the unnerved trainer slid down the length of the Palkia's tail before stumbling over to where Piplup lay: Victorious, Triumphant, Successful...

Touko slowly worked her way down from Cinnawon while clutching Rosa. The latter was having a hard time staying conscious and couldn't safely get down on her own. Falling on their rears nearby, Touko focused on trying to keep Rosa awake. She wasn't sure what happened once she fully lost consciousness, but it probably wasn't great. Nearby Dawn and Piplup, the sounds of a startled woman could be heard. Not long after, none other than Princess Peach stepped out into the street, shaking some water off of Perry! "Oh my--Flooding?" she asked in bewilderment. Twink seemed equally confused. They'd been expecting to fight some sort of giant fire monster! ...But there was nothing. Just a couple of girls and a soaked town. Seeing what was going on, Peach's eyes flashed to all the very injured looking people in the area and her gaze grew concerned. "Miss--Are you alright..? My name is Princess Peach, and this is what's left of my kingdom." Peach explained, eager to offer her help regardless of having arrived too late to assist in the battle.

Dawn fell back onto the ground, her backside thumping against the soggy ground as the winded trainer held her beloved pokemon in her arms. "Good job, Piplup. Whew... might have overdone it a bit though~" Her eyes scanned over the wreckage, trying to find at least some hint of the fire-type ghost pokemon that they had just been battling, but it seemed like for now it had been completely washed away by Piplup's attack. Looking over and back towards where Rosa and Touko were lying, a concerned look had crossed Dawn's face. Pulling Piplup's ball from her pocket, the trainer lightly tapped the fainted penguin's head at the button of the metal capture sphere before engulfing the pokemon in a scarlet light. In a matter of seconds, Piplup was gone and the pokeball was deposited safely back in her inventory.

"Come on, don't you guys faint on me or anything. I don't have any extra balls!"

Pushing herself back up and onto her feet, Dawn broke off into a sprint towards her fallen comrades, hoping that they were okay. She was about to call out again to the exhausted duo when a flash of pink and cream colors cross the peripheral vision in the corner of her eye. Snapping her neck to attention at the dainty figure approaching, Dawn had SO many questions. "Princess... Peach...?" Was that a name? Why was she dressed so formally in such a violent wasteland? But probably the most important of the questions:

"D-Did you protect yourself from that flood.... with an UMBRELLA???"

"P-Princess!"
Twink calls, rushing over to join Peach before Dawn.
"There was this monster! And--And, it was destroying the town and there were these two girls trapped in a burning building. And I know you told me to keep a watch over things, but it was too big! Meanwhile, as Twink hurried to explain what had happened, Peach took a moment to really take in the sights around her. The town was damaged, but it had always been in disrepair. She honestly couldn't tell exactly what had been damaged by the flood waters and what had already been in a state of severe disrepair. More important than her town though was these three precious souls and their hard working companions. Having several trainers adopted into the magical girls society already and having gotten to know them on a personal level, Peach was quick to recognize that these were pokemon trainers. The two on the ground looked like they were in pretty bad shape. She could see it in their body language; there was no slack in their muscles.




"That's alright, Twink. You did well." Peach reassured the star child, smiling brightly at him before returning her attention to Dawn and offering her the same kindness. "This is my friend, Perry~ He's a very special 'umbrella'." Peach explained, twirling her parasol and tilting it forward it a bit so that Dawn could get a better look at him. "Howdy~! Nice to meet'cha!" Perry would add, beaming brightly at Dawn. He had the voice of a little boy. Peach would promptly right Perry upon her shoulder before continuing. "What you did was very brave. Not only did you save my kingdom from further ruin, but you saved two lives in the process. That's what a true heroine is made of, right Twink?" Peach asked? "Oh--Yeah! You were amazing!" Twink promptly chimed in, seeming to have ... partially calmed down from before. "It's not much, Miss, but I'd like you to take these items as a token of my thank you." Peach would go on, swiftly producing a pair of super mushrooms and a lightning bolt item and holding them out to Dawn.

"I also overheard that you were short on... spare 'pokeballs'? So I'd like you to have this as well." the princess would go on to offer, producing a love ball and handing it to Dawn. It was a leftover from the time she'd gone pokemon catching with Cynthia and the girls. If one knew Peach, the fact that she'd chosen this particular type of pokeball wouldn't be much of a surprise. She wasn't sure what Dawn wanted to do with the ball, but it was a small favor to ask. "You have my gratitude. May I have your name, Miss..? I'd like to invite you to a heroines welcome back at the Life Sphere, just as soon as we take care of the others, of course. I'm sure they'll want to show you their thanks as well."

"No! WAIT! What kind of umbrella is that?! How is it/he/she talking to me(and so politely too)?!"

Despite all the freaky pokemon Dawn had seen in her life, that seemingly defied logic, this was an understandable outcry! Animals shaped like umbrellas; okay, that's believable. ACTUAL umbrellas talking and blocking floods!? That's preposterous! But Dawn didn't get much time to further ponder this factor as before long, the princess was thanking the trainer for all her hard work before actually rewarding her for her efforts. "W-Wow... You didn't have to!" Dawn uttered, smiling bashfully while taking the items. Leaning forward, Dawn bowed respectfully to thank Peach for her kindness, Cinnawonn shuffling a bit worriedly trying to cling onto his napping spot as she shifted her position down and back up.

"Is that a... pokeball?" Dawn asked almost shocked that Peach had not only heard her miscellaneous comment, but was actually offering a pokeball to her! AND not just a regular one by the looks of it! "Wow... This pokeball looks really rare!" the trainer exclaimed, marveling at the orb in her hand before nodding to peach, turning her attention back to the barely conscious Rosa. Did pokeballs even work on humans? ...well, there's only one way to find out she guessed.

Cocking her hand back, Dawn enabled the capture switch on the ball, causing the metal sphere to nearly double in size before she sent it spinning through the air on a direct course with Rosa's head.

The ball soared through the air, eliciting a little squeak from Rosa as it bonked her on the head. It was extremely light-weight, so it didn't really particularly hurt even when thrown quite hard, but it was enough to startle the barely conscious trainer. One moment later, however and the ball burst open with a flurry of seemingly magical pink hearts fluttering about it. "Oh..!" Peach blurted out. Dawn would probably be familiar with the stylish phenomenon, pokeball seals being very popular in Sinnoh. What she probably wasn't expecting was for a beam of matching pink light to burst from the love ball and envelop Rosa's form, absorbing her into the little sphere where she vanished as the ball clicked shut. Falling to the ground, it wobbled only once before the bright pink button on its face faded to a normal white.

Rosa was ... caught? Peach and Touko were both understandably bewildered by what they'd just seen. Was that a thing? Since when?? They were briefly unsure what to think, but decidedly neither of them made any objections. When they thought about it, it was immediately obvious what sort of benefit capsulizing the fallen trainer had. As if on cue, Dawn's pokedex would emit a little confirmation noise signifying that the 'pokemon' Dawn had just caught had been registered. If she so choose, she could view Rosa's pokedex entry!

It is said that this pokemon's pillowy chest is so large to make room for its big heart. It forms powerful and often affectionate bonds with others, using its natural charm to support and encourage its friends to new heights. In spite of its weakness, it is fiercely loyal once it has formed a bond with someone and is relatively easy to train because of its approval-seeking nature. It enjoys dress-up, playing pretend and adventure.

...Ah yes, the age old question of how the pokedex could possibly know so much. Was there some kind of really invasive examination going on in there? And if it knew so much, why didn't it seem to have a grasp on what it was looking at? That's a girl you dork, not a strange humanoid monster. Perhaps these were questions better left unanswered, though. It was the pokedex after all. This was far from the first time it had strange information about supposedly unknown pokemon in it. Finally, Dawn is given the privilege of identifying and naming the pokemon, as well as nicknaming her. One really had to wonder if there was like, a scientist somewhere getting really confused because a selfie of some girl showed up as a new pokemon on his computer. Is Professor Rowan getting trolled somewhere right now? Grumbly old man thoughts aside, Dawn could ask Touko for Rosa's name if she wanted to use that or enter anything she wanted. What was my grandson's name again? Ah that's right. His name is buttface. Speaking of Touko though, the other two girls would only wait patiently foor so long after recovering from their stun before attempting to acknowledge what had just happened.

" . . . Hey--Nice catch, Dawn! That was pretty clever, using a pokeball like that. I would've never thought you could do that. (...If I had, I wouldn't be in such bad shape right now from carrying her around on my back.) My name's White and you've just caught Black." White replied and introduced with a friendly smile and an outstretched hand in offering. Meanwhile, Peach found her voice. " . . . What you did was very impressive, Dawn~ I don't know how well you're acquainted with Li, but this world could use more heroes and heroines." Peach would reply in a very soft tone, reassuring Dawn about having accepted such a gift. "Heh--Yeah. I would've offered, but we don't have much more than our clothes anymore. It's been a rough few days out here in the wilderness." White chimed in somewhat light-heartedly. If one paid close attention, they could see Peach's eyes widen slightly with a brief moment's horror at the mention of White having been out here for several days. Several days worth of exposure to tainted air, not to mention any enemies that roamed by?! White was lucky she was alive, let alone in this good shape! "Say--Speaking of the wilderness. Do you have a place we could stay, princess..? I'm not feeling so well myself." White would go on to sheepishly lament. If this was the princess' kingdom, she must have some hospitable place to stay--right?

...Peach considered adopting exactly everything in sight and taking them back to her castle for a moment. Tempting, but she could only keep her eyes on so many kids at once. It would be irresponsible, not to mention hasty, to do that now. Perhaps more importantly though, she couldn't treat Rosa's condition and couldn't guarantee that rest would get White better. She could work some miracles in her own ways, but this was a bit more severe than she could garauntee success with. "...Yes, but it would be much safer to bring you back to the Life Sphere. It's a ways away, but with Dawn's help I am confident we will make good time. We have to get you both to a hospital..! Afterwards, I would be most appreciative if you would join me at my home away from home. I'd like to discuss what happened." Peach replied, her gaze drifting across the two and settling on Dawn knowingly. She offered the other her usual pleasant smile, but didn't bother revealing her intentions to invite the other to the Magical Girl's Society yet. There was obviously an emergency to attend to right at the moment and she didn't want to detract from that.
