Shiya Kirigaya

Backstory: Shiya was a high-school student, originally born on a planet overcome by war for the possession of resources and land. To survive, many people utilized a mixture of technology and X-Elements spliced into their very DNA, a material simply known as "EnerGy", in hopes of rising above others and claiming the world for their own means through strengthening and enhancing of the human body beyond mortal means. Shiya's family was one of these people, who strove instead to lead quiet lives removed from all of the conflict though, practicing EnerGy for only the usage of self defense; with Shiya being one of the first generations of people actually born with EnerGy naturally in their DNA via their parents. However, these methods did not prove safe enough as one day the Kirigaya family was almost all slaughtered by a rival group of EnerGy users that grew jealous of the Kirigaya's sword techniques and power. Shiya would have also perished that day, had he not been spirited away from the violent chaos by his best friend Kazuto Tamiya; a healing affiliated EnerGy user who was a wandering hermit of sorts.
Amist the chaos though, in that place torn by suffering and hated, Shiya found one pillar of good and righteousness in his best friend, Kazuto. No matter who was in trouble, nor the time or place, his friend always put himself in danger at a moments notice to save a life. Shiya admired this trait immensely, though he thought it crazy at times, wishing to be more like Kazuto. Kazuto also served as his instructor in the ways of EnerGy so that Shiya could learn to defend himself better; but even with his family's rare sword specialization, Kazuto's abilties never grew past the simple ability of projection. He was however able to learn sufficient healing techniques from his friend, the most useful allowing him to replace a lost eye with his own EnerGy power as a substitute. Sadly though, these times did not last forever.
One day, Kazuto Tamiya found himself healing the wrong casualty at the wrong time; being struck down in the middle of a war-zone by an unknown assailant. As Shiya's best friend lay bleeding to death and dying, he made a promise to Kazuto. Though his friend's life was ending, his ideals and beliefs would not. Shiya swore to continue his friend's ideals and become the savior that Kazuto was unable to fully become. As his friend breathed his final breath, Shiya did also; reborn in his place was the savior Kazuto strove for, that would never cease to fight and save the world from the chaos it had become, and save it he would no matter the cost. Taking his friends sword and imprinting it in his memory and heart, Shiya swore he would end the war that had torn apart his world and killed his friend; to stop any more people from being needlessly slaughtered like Kazuto was...
Appearance:
History On Li: Shiya wasn't having the best of days. A few moments prior to the present, he had been fighting a possessed creature of some sort inside of his Infinite Sword Birth plane. This had never happened as this plane should be a projection of his being, with nothing inside of it besides the people he chose to bring into it. Nevertheless, there he was fighting a relentless monster who's form he couldn't even make out. Over the course of the battle, Kirigaya found himself growing weary as he strained his EnerGy power to the limits just to keep up with the beast. Finally though, a glimmer of hope appeared in a portal of sorts ripping through the fabric of his ISB Plane. Not wasting time, Shiya used all of his strength to push it through; however, in the process, Shiya was also dragged through against his will.
When he finally emerged though, Shiya found no trace of the beast and was in some sort of town. There were people moving about their daily lives and acted as if it was a natural occurrence for someone to just pop out of a portal into the street?! There were people and creatures of every shape and size moving about the square as the confused boy sat and stared in silence while trying to process his location and the reasoning behind these bizarre events...
Primary Attacks:
Projection Assault: Shiya uses the weapon that he has projected to fight the enemy with quick strikes and precise slashes, though he often prefers to project his iconic twin swords, the Kamuya Blades, when fighting normally. With them, it is easy for him to chain together extensive combos and summon with little to no effort due to their simplicity and frequency of usage. [DMG 8%]
Phantasmal Rain: Projecting multiple blades in the air at the same time, Shiya blasts them through the air and unleashes a barrage of cuts and slashes by firing all at once at the opponents. These swords are quite fragile and shoddily made, so they usually break upon contact with a hard enough object. [DMG 15%, Area of Effect, Cooldown 1 post]
Noble Gates: Utilizing his Reinforcement technique on his own body, Shiya is able to strengthen himself to be able to deal damaging blows with his own punches and kicks. However, he isn't very skilled at melee fighting so he only does so as a last resort when he has been disarmed or exhausted of EnerGy power. [DMG 6%, has 5% chance of inflicting Paralysis]
Special Attacks:
Sword Birth: Shiya's sole EnerGy specialization. Utilizing the Sword affinity of his lineage's EnerGy combined with his Analysis and Reinforcement techniques, Shiya Kirigaya is able to Project exact copies of bladed weapons that he sees after analyzing them for mere moments by mentally exerting his EnerGy into the physical realm from his own memories; any weapon that he has ever seen and analyzed fully, Shiya can materialize utilizing Sword Birth. However, for some reason ever since coming to Li, Shiya's powers have become severely weakened to the point where he can only fully create exact copies of 3 weapons he's seen memorized at a time; forcing one weapon's exact makeup to be forgotten should he try to memorize another past the 3. However, of the ones he can Project, Shiya is able to perfectly emulate the blades' effect and ability. While Sword Birth can be used to copy physical weapons such as bows-&-arrows, Shields, boomerangs, really any physical object used as a weapon; It is most potent when copying and projecting bladed weapons such as swords. Copies 1 physical weapon along with 1 Primary/Special Attack associated with that weapon (Though Cooldown of attack is extended by 1 post). Currently Stored Weapons:
- Upperdash Arm: Shiya arms himself with an Arm-type weapon of the gods he 'borrowed' from Pit and dashes fist first into enemies. The Upperdash Arm is outfitted with a disc-shaped device that fires ring shaped shots. This arm’s specialty is its melee dash attack rather than its shots. Shiya sends foes skyward with melee dash attacks from the Upperdash Arm. [DMG 20%, Cooldown: 1 Post]
- Guardian Orbitars: Shiya protects himself his Guadian Orbitars he also copied off of his good Angel buddy. The Guardian Orbitars are a pair of shield shaped Orbitars that float beside Shiya’s shoulders and specialize in defense. It’s a good thing they can float on their own. They actually weigh a ton! The Guardian Orbitars deflect projectiles with a Wisdom roll for an accurate reflect back in the enemy's direction. The Guardian Orbitars can absorb 25% physical damage, but they will not recover until shattered. After they shatter, they will recover by 10% for every turn they're not used.
- Portal Gun: Chell's must used and precious tool of choice for escaping places she can't seem to escape, now all for Shiya to abuse! (as soon as he can figure out what its used for and how to make it work.) The Portal Gun can fire two types of energy spheres, blue and orange. These two colors are linked and can make portals connecting to the other color. The thing is only one of the colors can be placed at any time and making a new one removes the other. These portals can be used for a variety of uses to aide Shiya in combat and puzzles alike. These blue and orange spheres can also deal damage by hitting foes. This Portal Gun is unique in that it can make Portals on almost any surface and not just white panels. [DMG 12%, Cooldown: 1 Post]
Analysis Reinforcement: Utilizing his Reinforcement ability, Shiya is able to improve and sometimes slightly permanently alter the structural integrity of an item he touches and fully analyzes by flowing his own EnerGy into the object; be it improving a weapon's damage, or a shield's durability. However, he can only Reinforce an item once due to the limitations set by his own novicity. [ Analysis/Startup Time: 1 post | If Used on Weapon: +5% damage on attacks using it. If Used on shielding object: +5% damage absorbed. Duration: 3 Posts, Cooldown: 2 Posts]
Abaron Blessing: Utilizing healing technique taught to him by his friend Kazuto, Shiya is able to heal himself or others of any invasive damage and illnesses to a degree, such as stab wounds, gashes, poison, or even severed limbs depending on the severity of damage, by manipulating and pooling together his EnerGy. [Heals 10% and any prevailing status effects. Cooldown: 3 Posts]
Final Smash:
Infinite Sword Birth: Shiya's most powerful projection which embodies the extreme at which he is able to turn a simple EnerGy ability into an ultimate move worthy of a master. Reciting an incantation, he temporarily removes all seals on his EnerGy power that would normally kill him when left unchecked to unleash his full power and projects this onto physical reality in the form of Infinite Sword Birth. All foes that Shiya can concentrate on and detect at once are completely removed from reality with himself and forced into his own personal world, formed by releasing his EnerGy power all at once. To anyone not brought into the reality, it would look as if these people had completely vanished from existence! In this barren wasteland is a graveyard consisting of every bladed weapon that Shiya has ever seen and memorized in his life using Sword Birth. While in this reality, Shiya can use his abilities completely uninhibited by the rules of Li's world and project exact copies of blades effortlessly barrage the enemy with. However, as with all good things; this ability has its limits. The strain of maintaining this world is too great for that of an inexperienced and novice user such as Shiya, so he is only able to keep it up for approximately 10 minutes before the realm is dissolved and everybody within it are returned to the physical world of Li in the same relative positions. [Area of Effect, Aesthetically changes arena, Removes startup time and cool down for up to 5 of Shiya's sword-related attacks while active. +5% DMG to all attacks. Duration: 3 posts]
Other Info:
- Shiya Kirigaya is 17 years old, though relatively short for his age group at 5'4".
- Shiya's right eye is a construct of the excess EnerGy running through his body, his real one having been lost in a battle some time ago. However, he is still able to function perfectly well with this proxy; although, during a strenuous enough battle that depletes his power, it will disappear for a time while being used as a backup reserve of EnerGy and as such render him once more temporarily blind in that area.

- Shiya is very agile and strong, though his feats outside the realm of structure manipulation have rarely proved to be super human.
- He is also very good at cooking food; from curry to omelettes to even cakes!
- On a side note however, Shiya has shown the ability to be durable way beyond the measures of an average 17 year old; regularly in battles being able to continue on fighting with several gashes, wounds, cuts, and destroyed organs (the most extreme feat being once when his right eye had been gouged out.)
