Outside Sunshine Stadium...

The area was perpetually crowded with people going in, out or passing. Especially now, at roughly peak hours, one would think it wouldb e impossible to find a supposed informant waiting to give them information on their mission. Who was this anonymous mission creator anyway, and who was his friend? They'd received no details. Seems the mission creator didn't want to be known. ...Then again...

Seems Legit

A lone pianta in a rather sketchy outfit was loitering near the south-east end of the stadium, looking like he had nowhere to be. To an observant eye, he stook out like a sore thumb. Most anyone who had any business here was moving towards their inevitable destination. But he and few others were loitering, and only he was doing it alone--as if he were waiting for something. What were the odds of this? ...Pretty high, honestly. You ain't slick, pianta. Iris can smell your sweat.

...And smell she did. Iris' nose wrinkled and she looked about the street. This place smelled gross, like a bunch of sweaty dudes crammed together in one big place. She decidedly didn't have her pokemon out, as her hydreigon and large crowds of pushy tasty people didn't mix well and she didn't want to torture the poor pokemon by denying it it's feral desires. She would reach up and gently tug upon Cynthia's sleeve, gesturing to the shady pianta for the other to see. "Um... He looks kinda fishy. Let's go ask him if he knows anything!" she would suggest, waiting for the other's approval. She didn't seem to want to leave Cynthia's side, as if something about the area was making her anxious. One was left to wonder what was on her mind.

And hey, maybe they'd find their third member while they were asking around!

Cynthia was ready to play mama bear. Being champion?? Hah i say. HAH. Thats just the day job! No, Truthfully, Cynthia works as a savior of the night, for all the cute patoot girls that cry for her help.

Kinda like a Yuri Zubatman, if that makes sense. In any case, cynthia had worn her extra-strength sleeve-tug jacket for this occasion, as she walked through the rather smelly arena, her own nose upturned from this. You know, for someone who works in a place that constantly smells of Pokemon sweat, she still didn't like the smell of this. Oh well, Iris gave a command, and Yuri Mama was gonna follow.

"Excuse me, sir..." Cynthia asked to the dressed  pinata, waiting for him to notice them. "Would you happen to know of someone who made a mission for us?" She asked, already expecting him to know.

There was no sign of there third party member around the Stadium at all... Though he was actually there but he was invisible at the moment. He liked observing the beginning to missions in secret. While the place did reek quite a bit, Dimentio had more attention on the crowds. Fighting was not exactly the dimenio's favorite thing but it had to be done to achieve his goals... And he was a mercenary after all so it came with the territory. Though he only did mercenary work to achieve his own goals... And he was not the sanest individual.

Dimentio watched the Pianta as he waited for the others to arrive. Then came a rather unusual pair of girls he guessed was Iris and Cynthia. Dimentio remained invisible for now since he did not want to make his presence here known until the show started. Still, he would listen in to their talk with the Pianta.

The pinata's gaze shifted to the two women approaching him. There was a lovely woman with blonde hair the length of which he'd never seen and ... a smaller girl in a frilly pink princess dress standing very close by her side. The pinata was silent for a long moment, during which he began sweating profusely. Memories of a squad of magical little girls passed through his head and he quickly dabbed at his forehead with a handkerchief. Easy there. They weren't here for his job this time. They just wanted the mission. None of them were going to yell at him--

"Hello..? Are you alright, mister?" Iris asked, bemused by the pinata's unresponsiveness. The pinata jumped a little, snapping to attention. Oh yeah, time didn't freeze for his inner monologs. He'd forgotten.

"...Right. I was expectin' one more'a you, uh, fair waifus."

The pinata seemed really nervous, causing Iris to tilt her head in a curious manner. "Here's the plan, yeah? Ya' gotta go in there. Ya' gotta snoop around in their business. They got's a club, where all tha regulars hang out between matches yeah? All the real bruisers that don't plan on leavin' for a while." the Pinata explained. "Oooh... Sounds like my kind of place~!" Iris remarked, amused by the idea of a club where she could meet a bunch of fighters. Fighting was always fun. This did nothing to make the pinata any less nervous around her. "...Yyeeaaah. Forget about it, kay? Ya' need a club card ta' get in. Normally ya gatta fight for a while before you get one. Keeps the fans away from the stars, you know what I'm sayin'?" the pinata went on, pulling out a few plastic cards. "We'se arranged for ya' to get one right away, though. Just... uh. Be aware, the names might be a lil' off. They usually take them first few matches to figure out what you're all about before givin' you yer' real tags." the pinata continued, handing Iris her card and handing Cynthia both hers and Dimentio's. "You'se give that to the no show if they'se ever stop bein' such a no show, yeah Mama Waifu? Anyways, I uh... I idn't 'ave any part'a writin' those. Just so ya' know. Entrance's over there." the Pinata would finish, gesturing to a staff access door guarded by two heavily armored koopatrols. If the girls looked away by the time they turned their gaze back onto the Pinata he would be gone, racing off into the distance to get away from them.

Iris lolled her head at the card she received, puzzling over their choice of name. She looked up at Cynthia, lolling her head up at the taller woman. "What's yours say?" she asked, entirely curious.

Cynthia nodded along as she listened to the pinata's dialogue of what they were doing. Cynthia took the card's to her hand, nodding as she accepted them.  "Alright, thank you very much...Also, my name's Cynthia, not ma-", But, before she could correct him, he was gone. Well, he WAS right, not that she would let him believe that.


She looked at the card....The ultimate show? That didnt seem very Cynthi- Oh, wait, wrong card. Cynthia looked at iris as she asked. "My card says Cynthia, the invioble blac-..."

This would be the point where the smell of sweat would of changed to the smell of sulfur, as cynthia shook in rage, gripping the card harder as it read "Black Widow" on it.


"...I...Am....NOT A BLACK WIDOW!!" She said, as she would of thrown down the card in pure anger, but sighing as she simply let it go, and thought that, by the end of those, she would find the one making these crazy cards and feed them to her garchomp. "....I-i mean, I-it's just a silly name, dont worry about it~" She said, laughing as a sweat bead flew down her head as she looked at iris, laughing it off, or atleast, seeming to laugh it off.

Cynthia then flashed a hot seething glare in the direction of that pinata. Yeah, he better run....

Regardless, Cynthia then lead Iris to the security door, looking around for the third compadre here.

Dimentio would be laughing at the idea he was considered a no show if he was not currently supposed to be hiding. So they were infiltrating the ranks to figure out what they wanted? That sounded exactly like Dimentio's area of expertise. Dimentio then followed the two as Cynthia raged about her name.

He would enjoy watching more but he decided now he needed to reveal himself. His card suddenly levitated from Cynthia's hand and a black box outline appeared. With a flip the jester himself appeared as he looked at his card. "I think The Ultimate Show is an odd name but it has a nice ring. Not so much as a fighter name but what can be done. Right, Unwilling Latrodectus?" Dimentio asked as he mocked Cynthia with a genus of spider that the Black Widow belonged to. "Dimentio, Pleaser of Crowds, Master of Dimensions, at your service," Dimentio greeted with a bow as if he did not just try to insult Cynthia.

Iris seemed to become startled as Cynthia freaked out, looking up at her anxiously as she began cooling herself down. Iris bent over and picked up Cynthia's card, looking at it for a moment. She looked up at Cynthia, attempting to smell through her facade.

Iris could tell Cynthia was faking her contentment in an effort to hide how upset she was from her. Something about sweat smelling different depending on one's emotions or something like that. One would have to ask Iris if they really wanted to know how she came to such a specific conclusion just by sniffing the air around someone. Iris would smile in response, leaning in and hugging Cynthia's waist. "I think you're too cool to be a spider. Want my card instead?" Iris asked, apparently offering Cynthia her own club card. OOohh... Identity theft! Luckily, or so it would seem, the club bouncers weren't paying attention. It was quite noisy out, and they hadn't yet gotten to them. Regardless, the guards looked bored and unenthusiastic about their work. They would probably not bother the girls.

Suddenly however, Iris was startled by Dimentio's appearance. She just sort of gave him a long, curious hard look as if trying to peer through his mask. I'm onto you, magician! I'll be all over you like--

"What's a Ladderdeckitus?" Iris asked, ever so innocently.

...Maybe not.

Iris only dwelled on Dimentio's funny sounding word for a moment, though. "Oh! Does that mean we'll get to see some magic tricks!?" Iris demanded, clearly quite excited about this prospect. She was not so distracted that she stopped following Mama Wa--Cynthia around though. Soon they arrived at the door and the two koopatrols looked at them. "...I don't remember seeing you girls... and... guys? ......around. Got a club card?" one of the koopatrols asked, seeming to intensely debate Dimentio's gender for a moment before giving up. He didn't get paid enough to think.1d20+1

Cynthia cooled off, as the feeling of soft dragon girl hugging her made her calm down, ruffling up iris's hair up again as she laughed lightly. "N-no, its ok. I will ask them to change it after this." She said, as she moved to the paratrooper, giving her...terrible card. "Here you go..." She said, not even going to give dimentio the time of day in trying to infuriate her.

Aint gonna loose composure. Gotta be calm and cool.

"I promise there may be quite a few magic tricks. I am sure you will be absolutely dazzled," Dimentio answered Iris with his usual mask like expression. He did not answer her other question as he observed Cynthia. She seemed to ignore his insult towards her which was a tiny bit satisfying. Shown it affected her to the point she has to hold her rage. Sometimes no reaction was a good reaction.

"Certainly," Dimentio responded to the Koopatrol as he displayed his card. These places must not have very good security if these fake cards worked so effectively. Still, can not argue with easily getting closer to what you desire. The thoughts of the power the Crystal Star may hold has him excited.

Iris' hair was ruffled. She giggled and squirmed at the gesture. "H-Hey~!" Iris blurted out, grinning wildly up at Cynthia. The 'savage' dragoness would grab Cynthia's arm in response to the affection, hugging it to her body in a rather feisty and possessive manner as if to say 'hey, this arm is mine now!' One of the koopatrols narrowed his eyes skeptically at the adorable young girl, but he supposed if he could secretly be a doctor she could be a fighter. The koopatrols stepped aside, uninterested in even questioning the names on the cards. It seemed these guards were more for keeping random hordes of raging fans out than individuals. It seemed a little lazy, but then again this wasn't exactly an exclusive club. "Clubroom is to your left, two doors down on the left. Whatever you do, don't enter the stadium unless you're ready to fight. Last person who interrupted the match got beaten up and thrown out." one of the koopatrols explained in a rather nonchalant tone.

Once Iris noticed they were being let in she stopped playing with Cynthia's arm and turned to rush inside. "C'mon! Let's go see how tough these guys really are~!" Iris blurted out, drawing another look from the koopatrol. Was he sure she wasn't just some fangirl? ...Ah what the heck. Nobody would throw a fit over one mistake.

...Inside the ring surrounding the stadium arena itself, there were very few doors that weren't either locked or guarded by some uptight suit looking types. Iris for one wasn't inclined to loiter around, and so she rushed right into the club itself. The inside of the "club" looked more like a locker room. It was actually a pretty nice locker room, all things considered, with cushioned benches and oddly enough a bed located in the corner. It was also, perhaps even more oddly, co-ed. It seemed that one was expected to find their own privacy if they needed to change. There were a bunch of low-class fighters loitering about. A group of goombas was acting tough on a bench, but everyone seemed to ignore them. There were, however, several interesting details one could observe about the room.

(!) Rawk Hawk is standing in the corner. He looks rather annoyed to be there. He is wearing a champion's belt with an orange crystal star attached to it. You can do whatever you want regarding him, but it doesn't look like he's in a talking mood.

(!) There is a computer screen built into the wall where one can look up people that are currently looking for a fight. If the group desires, they can select opponents and begin fighting. Additionally, every fighter currently on the list featured below is currently in the room with the group and can be spoken to.

(!) The ventilation shafts in the building are big enough for a person to crawl through. Any of the group could fit if they were able to remove the guard. However, Dimentio and Iris would probably fit far more comfortably inside than Cynthia.

Cynthia looked through the little club made for the challengers in this tournament, Tugged along by iris once again. At this rate, cynthia would have her arm pulled out of its socket by the end of the day, but it seemed once iris was inside to see the rest of the people, She had thankfully let go of the champion's arm, as Cynthia put her hand on her shoulder with a "Phew..." expression. Iris, man, that girl could tug.

Cynthia's gaze went to the...Giant chicken? Oh, wait, sorry. Uuhhmm..t-the giant yellow Hawlucha called 'Rawk Hawk'. Is that good? Ok. Cynthia looked to dimentio. "Make sure iris doesn't get into too much trouble. I'd like to speak with the champion..." She said, before going over to greet the big bird.

"Hello there, Mister...Rawk hawk, i assume? It's a pleasure to met you, Champion to Champion. I'm Champion Cynthia..." She said, smiling happily. Remain calm, cool and collected. Hopefully this would be good first impressions, so she could get a judge of Rawk Hawk's strength.

Dimentio looked around the room as they were permitted access to the place. The club looked more like your classic arena locker room but Dimentio can't say he is surprised. At least they can see all the other fighters in this... place... Dimentio put a hand to the bottom of his mask like face as he noticed someone in paticular catching his eye. That was most certainly one of the heroes that beat him... But he thought this dimension's Mario was 3D... But this Mario is definitely the exact one he recogonized.

He decided to avoid talking to him as long as possible. He was not really the type to hold a conversation anyway. He did not want him ruining his chances of finding the Crystal Star. Speaking of Crystal Star, there was the "champ" that he was supposed to had a star on his belt. It definitely looked like the real deal... At least from this distance. He needed a closer look to make sure...

That plan was foiled however as Cynthia wanted to speak to the avian. "I will keep watch on her. You will not need to worry," Dimentio obliged. He wanted to stay on their good sides for the moment. There was another jester that really looked similar to that guy from that advertising compaign... He was horribly showed up by a glove if he remembers right... He was not an issue to the dimension master.

There was a ventilation shaft that can use investigation... But the guards probably would not appreciate that. He will have to think of a way to make an opening or wait for one... Cynthia was busy so fighting was not really an immediate concern.

The rest of the fighters did not pose much of a threat from what he can tell... But there was something off about that women with the red eyes and black hair. "... Hydreigongirl, will you accompany me to speak with that women over there?" Dimentio proposed as he pointed to Zinnia and waited for an answer. He was supposed to keep a watch on Iris... As much as he hated to do so.

Cynthia and Rawk Hawk

Rawk Hawk eyed Cynthia with annoyance, his foul mood coloring his first impression of her the looks of it. However, Cynthia did seem to convince him to acknowledge her. This was more than could be said of the rest of the room. "Listen, sister." Rawk Hawk began, dropping the formalities right off the bat. "I don't know where you come from, but there ain't no champions in this room tonight. Ya' gotta EARN that title, just like the rest of us. They don't tell ya' that when you walk in the door, but there's a stadium champ. They get their own room with all the luxuries and a bit of PRIVACY! It's the honor everyone one'a us strives for." Rawk Hawk went on to lecture, striking a pose. "So if you wanna call yourself a champion, you better get out there and RAAAAAAAAWK!" Rawk Hawk finished, folding his arms before him.

"...Speakin' a which, whad'y'a want?"

Iris and Dimentio

Iris began to tap again the screen, pulling up some extra information about the fighters. While Dimentio was checking the fighters out, Iris was reading up on their win-loss ratio. To her shock, there were several fighters who had simply never lost! "Woah..." Iris murmured, promptly taking this as a challenge. She also saw the word 'dragon' multiple times, which drew her attention.

When Cynthia asked Dimentio to keep a watch on her, however, Iris snapped to attention. Huh? She didn't much like the idea of being babysat by a stranger, but she supposed she respected the other champion too much to complain. Her attention turned to Dimentio and she would nod in understanding. "Okay." Iris replied, turning and skipping off to go meet Zinnia. The so-called maverick appeared to be making herself scarce in the corner of a room, and the other fighters seemed to know better than to invade her personal space. There was a good chance that the last person to invade her personal space had been PAWNCHED for their efforts.

Iris, however, hopped right up to Zinnia without regard for the way most fighters made a point to avoid her. Zinnia's gaze snapped to the intruder and their eyes met. Zinnia's crimson eyes met Iris' crimson eyes and a smile crossed the lorekeeper's face. Iris returned this smile with a toothy grin, balling up her fists in a competitive manner. Sparks were flying between the two of them as they promptly engaged in a staring contest, as if communicating silently with nothing but their body language.

Cynthia looked at Rawk Hawk as he talked to her as if she was a stupid trainer who had no idea what she was doing here. Of course, there were no champions of the tournament here, she was speaking on a home world sense, though in her experience, muscle mass = Intelligence Lack. So, Cynthia rolled her eyes, looking at the giant chicken man. though, that did remind her OF her job as champion...So many young trainers, running through the elite 4, only to have most, if not all of there dreams crushed then and there by Cynthia's high-heel'd foot. Via a Garchomps strength, of course.

"Oh, is that so..." Cynthia asked, now beginning to feel the tension rising between her and Sanders Hit List. Determination to beat him, now obtained! "Well, I simply came over to see who was going to be my biggest competition of the night, since everyone seems quite keen for you. But, i see ive made a wrong turn somewhere...' She said in a semi-insulting way. Hopefully this will ruffle his feathers.

Dimentio floated over to the dragon woman with Iris and floated there silently... As everyone was in some form of silence at the moment except for Cynthia and Rawk Hawk. They had some kind of competitive staring contest rather quickly and Dimentio had no idea what to say to this odd act... Instead he was going to turn around and use the silence to his advantage. Dimentio looked around and tried to listen in in case anyone was saying something interesting... More interesting than the staring contest.
