Rights as a Citizen
All citizens have the right to a free place of living, luxury living or owning an office building is not included and will be taxed accordingly.
All citizens have the right to protect themselves and others. They may also make arrest claims and even use lethal force so long as it is seen as justified. Police officers have higher authority in this matter however.
All citizens have the right to free nourishment, but luxury food and drink establishments are not included, unless the situation is an emergency of course.
All citizens have the right to suggest laws without discrimination.
System of Wealth
The Life Sphere is an Oligarch society in which the three leaders share the power, Samus Aran, Arle Nadja, and Mario “Jumpman” Mario. All decisions and laws are passed to these three individuals where the majority vote is the one that passes. If there is any point where there is less than three leaders everyone must agree in order for it to pass. Should any of the leaders step down, become infected, or for some other reason is no longer present, a chancellor may take their place until they are either replaced or the chancellor is given that power.
Currently there is only one chancellor, Professor E. Gadd (this may be subject to change). Chancellors do not hold as much power or authority as a leader, but they may temporarily be granted leader-status power.
The responsibilities of the Life Sphere leaders are to make decisions that will best benefit the citizens and maximize their chances of survival. In addition, they attend to the punishment of troublesome citizens. Only one is needed for judgement and a leader may even appoint a trusted citizen to manage the trial. Leaders are also expected to dedicate at least two hours per day towards maintenance of the Life Sphere in one way or another. Public hearings and mandatory meetings do not qualify unless they are day long events. If a leader fails to maintain their responsibilities they may be tried and subsequently step down from power.
To be recognized for leader status, a candidate must represent a sizable amount of the population and must prove to either the chancellor or the already enlisted leaders that they have the Life Sphere's future and stability in mind. There can only be one leader for each class of citizen or party, however, each leader has the right to elect a chancellor in whatever process they see fit.

Parties
Legal parties do not grant citizens any more power than ones who choose to not partake in one, but it gives them a better chance at having their voices be heard by the respective party’s leader. There are two officially recognized parties, and one unofficial in terms of the Life Sphere’s government.
The Palliatist Party is the group that believes in Arle's method of action and see that there's little point in defeating the starvia if the planet remains mostly uninhabitable. The Palliatist Party is mostly dedicated to matters of environmentalism and increasing the quality of life of Li's citizens through practical means such as by producing and distributing food or funding educational facilities. They can usually be found engaging in charity work.
The Libertist Party is the group that believes in Mario’s method of action and see that attacking the point of essence is the only way to win this struggle. While not every member is willing to throw themselves at the unknown just yet, most prefer the idea of hitting the Starvia where it hurts. The Libertist Party hosts combat training daily within the Sunshine Stadium to make those not so combat-ready more capable.
The Protectionist Party is the group that believes in Samus' method of action and see that securing a strong fortification in the form of the life sphere is critical to buying everyone enough time to solve their other problems. They tend to prefer pre-emptive action and can often be found trying to find ways to reinforce the Life Sphere, supporting the police, and taking the lawful moderation of the Life Sphere and protection of the peace into their own hands.

Legal Conduct
While the Life Sphere can be regarded as a near lawless society, there are quite a few laws that are set in stone. Engaging in Starvia related experiments that are not for the benefit of a cure is the first and most strict law, in the event that the Starvia does have a cure this law might be subject to change. The second law is that maiming and killing is prohibited within the confines of the Life Sphere. This includes trophication. Any of the above is prohibited on Li in its entirety, but it is not as easy to monitor outside the Life Sphere. The exception to this death clause is only if the one being attack is indeed infected. Attempts at attacking or damaging the Life Sphere are also prohibited (minor property damage is looked upon in a different extent). Partaking in any of these activities will instantly put a citizen’s strike counter up to three and will be seen as an enemy of the Life Sphere.
Any with the status of enemy of the Life Sphere will not have the aid of the Life Sphere and lose all rights as a citizen. All citizens will have the right to attack and bring any with this status to justice. Based on how heinous the crime, an enemy of the Life Sphere may be set into trophy form permanently or at least until the Starvia has been dealt with.
The leaders of the Life Sphere or their representatives are the only individuals who can officially judge and punish a criminal. That being said, the leaders can say what is illegal and what isn’t, as their ruling is final. In this regard, it is prohibited for any of the leaders or representatives to trial a citizen they have a personal history with whether it be good or bad. On a trial, the accused can either represent themselves or have another represent them, but they will not be provided with a defense attorney.

System of Wealth
The Life Sphere has no official system of currency. The Life Sphere works under a barter system where trading items is one of the primary sources of exchange. Items do not have a set value, the only value they have is how valuable the buyer/seller sees it. Otherwise, Rings, coins, hearts, and other forms of tender only have as much value as the buyer/seller dubs it to. In recent years though, a handful of marketplace stores have adopted a monetary system and it has quickly become a popular form of transaction. Small organizations such as the Character Slot Shop, the Super Smash Skill Dojo, and King Goomba’s Item Depot are just a few that have adopted the system. That being said, ordinary citizens outside of these organizations are in no way obligated to value these coins in the same sense that these shop owners do.
Items and Smash Coins can be received by completing missions, doing work for the Life Sphere, or collecting bounties.
