Character Name: Gold Hibiki
Aliases: He goes by Ethan as well.
Home Planet/Origin: The Pokémon universe, The Johto region.
Preferred Motto: "Go for the gold!"
Appearance(Can be slightly different than the character choice):
At age 16, Gold is average height yet ambnormally sized. He stands at 5'9", but the rest of his body doesn't match up to his lanky figure. The Starvia disease had taken its toll on poor Gold, leaving his complexion and build drained and weak. His once vibrant amber eyes always looked drained no matter what sort of pep he really has in him. He just looks perpetually exhausted to be quite frank. But he usually isn't, and fortunately the worst of the plague has yet to come to hurt him. It's only a matter of time though until it does, and the thought of this impending doom unerves the boy to no end.
Alignment: He's a good kid.
History On Li: 16 badges. Countless legendaries. Becoming the champion of not one but two regions. Suffice to say, pokemon trainer Gold had a lot going for him and was at his peak. What once was a caring, hot-headed kid from New Bark town evolved into a well developed young man, and though he had accomplished his life's goals at an early on age he never stopped moving forward. His dream team- Typhlosion, Togekiss, and Ambipom proved to be his greatest allies and best of friends. Ultimately Gold was perfectly content with his little life always on the road. Of course, his slice of perfection shattered one day as did to many of the poor inhabitants of his future home/prison, Li.
While making a brief visit to the Ruins of Alph with his best friend Lyra, something ungodly occured while exploring previously unknown depths of the caverns. Out of the blue the walls began to shake, and the unown inhabitting them awoke all at once as if disturbed by an unknown force. Whatever this force was it was bent on possesing the unown, all turning towards the young trainers and their pokemon. Gold insisted that Lyra run away while he tried to ward them off behind her. But as the light at the end of the tunnel came into view the unown launched an attack towards the roof in order to knock down boulders to trap the trainers. But Gold pushed Lyra out of the way just in time, leaving himself trapped within the chasm against hundreds of ancient enraged pokemon. The last thing he saw as he was huddled in the corner was the glowing of each of their individual eyes before everything went white.
Awaking in agony and confusion Gold found himself in land he had never seen before in his life. No loner was he in the vibrant Johto region but a land filled with the stench of death and rot. But, to his horror and despair, this erupted from his surrounding pokemon, who did not make it to where ever he had found himself at now. The only companion he had left in this world was his Typhlosion, who himself was barely hanging on. But with both of them badly injured and not a person or creature in sight they became succeptable to the world around them. Thus, the contagion spread to their systems.they couldn't do anything about it.
Following a few weeks of stumbling around the barren wasteland, eating whatever they could get their hands on in the barren wasteland they came acorss the life sphere, seeing from inside of it the hospital they so desperately needed. But it was clear to them that the people inside were healthy, and perhaps the purpose of the bubble was to keep the infected out. So, doing their best to mask their symptoms, they merely showed off their wounds and were granted admission. But with the clarity that they indeed were sick, they soon found themselve qurauntined to a certain room, where they have spent most of their days.
But all was not lost, well not entirely anyway. One night while sneaking out of his chamber he found a frail, battle damaged Celebi in the room down the hall. He remembered this Celebi from his first adventure, as it was the exact one he had befriended many years ago. The two quickly warmed up to each other again, and eventually was granted to go under companionship of Gold. They were both ill anyway, so the hospital staff figured they'd be okay. With his team reassembling and his strength returning, Gold has been occasionally allowed to go outside. There he had caught his true first pokemon on Li, a young Marill that reminded him of his lost friend Lyra. Since then Gold has usually hung around Brightwing hospital, and chats up whatever soul that visits him. He still one day hopes for mission, but there's no guarantees he'll be staying within the walls of the hospital as he's told to do. Fortunately, though his illness isn't going to go away his Celebi has abilities linked to healing properties. It helps him from completely going off the deep end in terms of ailment. It can slow his symptoms, but it won't completely stop everything from happening.

Typhlosion
Primary Attacks(3):
-Scratch: Typhlosion rakes his claws once or twice in succession, doing minimal damage.
-Ember: Typhlosion spits a small amount of flames, aimed in a forward direction.
-Headbutt: A swift knock of his head makes this his most powerful primary attack, but also his slowest.
Special Attacks(3):
-Flamethrower: Aimed downwards, Typhlosion can create a path of fire that deals less damage the longer the duration. It is very powerful at first, however.
-Flame wheel: Typhlosion can curl into a flame-engulfed ball to attack those around him. He rolls across the stage for a few seconds, before returning back to normal.
-Swift: Another projectile, Typhlosion unleashes a stream of stars to attack his enemies in a rapid but not quite streamed succession.
Ultimate Attack(1): All together now!
Gold releases all three of the pokemon for them to line up. In a single blast, Typhlosion uses inferno, Marill uses hydro pump, and Celebi musters a powerful grass attack to blow away any close by enemies. This works in a dome-shaped motion, though possesses a short distance.
Allies/Friends: Lyra, professor Elm, Red, pretty much any pokemon.
Enemies/Rivals: Silver, Team Rocket.
Any Other Information:
-As stated, Gold is sick. He knows he doesn't look the healthiest, and people are a bit hesitant around him. But he's a nice, outgoing boy, so he at least tries not to be so threatening.
-He'll sometimes wear a surgical mask out if he's particularly wheezy.
-Played by Plush.

Marill
Primary Attacks(3):
-Tail Whip: In a quick motion, Marill attacks a foe by smacking her tail once.
-Defense Curl: Not an attack, but Marill can curl up in a ball to lessen damage and throw off the enemy.
-Water Gun: With a burst of water Marill attacks for a second or so, the blast brief but potent.
Special Attacks(3):
-Dive: Taking a few seconds, Marill delves deep into the ground, only to resurface under the enemy with an uppercut. As she surfaces however she is open to other attacks.
-Aqua ring: Surrounding herself with water, Marill can make an offensive shield for a few seconds to both ward off and attack enemies.
-Icy wind: An ice type move that allows Marill to breath a cold breath to temporarily freeze an enemy before her.

Celebi
Primary Attacks(3):
-Leech Seed: Celebi throws a few seeds to take away a tiny portion of the enemy's health before transferring it to itself or its trainer.
-Return: Celebi summons up the fate in its trainer to deliver a quick punch. Though it does care for Gold, its trust isn't high enough to make it fully powerful.
-Confusion: A weak, basic psychic attack that works in bursts. Anyone close to Celebi when it uses this attack can get knocked back a little, or occasionally disoriented (Has 10% chance of this)
Special Attacks(3):
-Magical Leaf: Celebi hurls forth psychically charged leaves in an arc, leaving whomever close by to be knocked back a distance if the pokemon isn't weak.
-Psychic: A much more powerful version of confusion with a longer distance and stronger power. It can only be used on occasion, though.
-Ancient power: Rune-enscribed rocks appear from the ground, scattering to damage those around it in a forward motion.
