I've always felt uncomfortably restricted when playing legendaries, like I have to play them the way they're depicted and can't take all the creative freedoms I'd like to. And a lot of the canon pokemon are just generic representations of their species which always has me WANTING to get more creative. I don't know if you also feel that way, but you can probably guess what I voted for.

I have no idea who you picked- but I kind of get what you mean. I usually use Legendaries that aren't significantly powerful so that isn't super hard to me and I usually work fine. I admit it's half and half when I give Pokemon more fleshed out personalities. Like Robin is more fleshed out than Nebby with Moon. Though Nebby is just a very simple personality- I do try when I need to though.

As much as I like legendaries as well, I have a particular lean towards using mostly regular Pokemon, but to each their own.
