The heavy wind boomed and howled across the mountain top. The castle was being drilled by such harsh air but yet, remains firm in foundation and unyielding in its towering perspective. Whomever built this castle so long ago was vicariously smart in their construct upon its appearance on the planet Li. It appears the castle has been fixed, renovated, and tended to regularly since its collision with the planet, with its current state, it was more of a full fledged working fortress than ruin unlike the other areas on Li. It is safe to say there are residents inside, but how many or of what nature is unknown until further inspection. An even bigger mystery, however, was how the residents found a way in. But thankfully, with the coordinates and the maps each one of the adventurers on this mission has been given, an alternate route underground that goes straight into the castle quarters has been discovered to follow avoiding the wind and preventing those seeking the castle's treasures from besting the treacherous mountain terrain and long trails. Ah, so that's how they did it!
You all follow eachother into a single file line with your heads in your maps until you stumble upon a tunnel going downwards etched into the side of a snowy hill. Some of you are already deciding who amongst you is untrustworthy, some of you are speculating, some of you are being friendly, others are choosing to be silent and lonely....this was fate. The lot of you make up a large number of specimens to enter the castle corridors as you all continue through the tunnel feeling the warmth of the torches lining this hidden passageway and embracing the shelter of the wind and uncanny weather conditions. There are picture frames lining the brick-by-brick tunnel walls, but they have no pictures in them. They are all empty, some are broken, some are crooked, it was an odd sight to see, the owner(s) of such a place must have admired some strange art. You all continue along the tunnel many in which of you appear curious, others in which look bitter and annoyed.
As you walk on, however, you all start to get dizzy, you feel as if the tunnel is never ending, as if the same picture frame has shown itself before many times and you can't fight the woozy feeling. Suddenly, one by one all of you start to vanish. Some of you fall through trap doors while others of you are snatched up by something foul and sent away. This pattern continues happening until all of you go missing and black out from the shock. After some time being out cold, you slowly open your eyes, and you find yourself suddenly in a particular area of the castle. Thus, the fun begins.

A castle is not a castle without some grand space to parade about in complete with furnishings of antique delicacy and rare accommodations. This castle was made a long, long time ago, clearly, and you all find yourself smack in the middle of the extravagant entrance hall right next to the living quarters. All of you are sprawled out on the ground as if you have fallen from the sky. You are laying on a beautifully decorated carpet with gold crown images lining the corners of it and exquisite shapes layered in vibrant colors all over the trim. The carpet is huge and massive, taking up nearly the whole entrance foyer neatly rested upon the wooden floor. If the place were to be properly perused you'd see a huge flight of brick stairs behind you and the large double door entrance in front of you complete with two sets of armor standing silent next to the doorway on the right and left. Looking above you is a pristine candle chandelier made of cast iron swaying lightly back and forth mysteriously as if something caused it to move even though its too high to reach. But slowly the armor began to shake lightly as well, it seems a small tremor has graced itself upon the castle's Living Quarters, but yet, the whole castle doesn't shake, just this room.
Beyond the entrance foyer there is a wall lined with more empty picture frames to your left and a closed wooden door that is so dusty and old it looks like it hasn't been touched at all. The door has an attached barred window on it that strangely enough, casts an eerie glow through the bars. If you tried to look through the bars though, you wouldn't see anything because there is smudged glass surfaced just behind the bars. You'd just see orange light flickering on the pane. If you looked at the frames instead, you would see they were all lined up perfectly except for one, dead center of the wall, how peculiar, in the tunnel weren't the picture frames a giant mess? To the right of the foyer on the other side is a huge open space, what you would call, the living room. It is lined with old three seater sofas colored in a velvet red and held up by golden legs. There are four sofas like this, and one arm chair that is a black rose color with silver trim at the bottom holding it up. The arm chair is stationed beside a tall window that is approximately over ten feet tall with white curtains dirtied and draped down. If you peered upwards to the top of the curtain it is almost as if something is wrinkling the top of it, and all you would be able to make out from your distance below is a misshapen object of some kind holding it up. Next to the arm chair is a large brick scaled fireplace, and surprise surprise, it looks like it was just recently put out. Smoke bellows from it and scorched logs are freshly caressed inside, but upon a closer look, there seems to be something else stuck in the fireplace? It seems like it was being burned earlier but albeit still salvageable.
Beyond the sofas and arm chair and fire place is the typical living room table within the center most point of the room made of polished wood. There are strange markings and symbols engraved in the table, they are very small but can be depicted with someone knowledgeable in universal languages. Scanning the rest of the place there is a wide hallway behind the sofas and the center table that is lit with torches, but to where it goes nobody knows, and to the right and left of the hallway entrance are two doors, one halfway open, the other wide open. Both of which would show a staircase leading down, and a single torch burning near their entrances. One torch each door. Does it lead to the same place? Or maybe somewhere different? The only way to find out is to, well, find out!
You open your eyes filled with a foggy memory and a migraine. There are so many elements of the place to inspect, and so many people to help you....or maybe not so much....? Work together, split up, or go solo, whatever works best.

Seizing The Castle
A Castle Dream...
A Castle Dream...
Nobody trapped Dark Link, ever. He would see to it whomever knocked him out was going to pay. He couldn't dream, so all he could do was try to wake up upon seeing nothing but blackness. He hated being bested or snuck up on, he was the one doing the sneaking, always, but not this time.
There was so much pain pounding in his head, whatever assaulted him got him good. He still saw blackness until he tried his hardest to fight the blunt trauma and his vision started to clear up. He opened his eyes and the beaming crimson color of them focused in on his surroundings. He looked like he was in a banquet hall, like back home in Hyrule. He jotted himself up from excitement, could he be back in his home land? It was a castle all right, but it was no Hyrule Kingdom.
There would be no Zelda to greet him, or an angry Link to try and chase him away, even a Tingle or a Ganondorf to see him out would have been acceptable. No, it was even worse, far worse, he saw that he wasn't alone after all, he was accompanied by a bunch of Life Sphere scum. He hasn't seen any of these folks before, but one of them looked like him in a sense, all black like he was, he couldn't be Infected could he? There was only one way to find out.
The shadowy warrior stood to his feet while everyone else hasn't come to their senses yet whom also must have been attacked by something earlier and sent here, and he walked to the pure black figure in the room sprawled on the ground still who seemed almost 2 dimensional and poked him with his sword. Dark Link was still very curious about the planet and its inhabitants after all, who can blame him.
He expected the figure to jump up in protest but he ofcourse meant no harm, he just wanted to see if he could get any information from the creature who appeared to look like a man. So just in case, he put his shield up in defense. Dark Link didn't really gravitate towards anyone else because he didn't seem to quite care about them, he just wanted answers from someone period, someone like him.
Then again, they all could be just as oblivious as he was and he could be going nowhere with his prodding. He would find out whether he could trust these other strange fighters around him, or if he would have to kill them, either way, he'd be doing whatever he had to in order to stay alive in this crazy old fortress.
It looked like just another castle to him though, nothing entirely different about the place just yet, it felt like a castle, it presented itself like a castle, it WAS a castle. Yeah the empty picture frames were a little strange, and the tremor from earlier was even weirder, but he figured it was just the insane wind outside causing such a ruckus.
That tremor would surely wake everyone else up, and he wasn't about to make himself an open target. He kept his shield up near the 2D man and kept his eyes peeled to the others realizing right off the bat he looked just like an Infected, and it was going to be just another day of him against the world, what else was new?
