Link
Tears of the Kingdom
Alignment: Neutral Good
Motto: "I'll leave you to it."
Allies/Friends: Zelda, Hyrule
Enemies/Rivals: Ganon, Yiga Clan
Backstory: zelda.fandom.com/wiki/Link#Tears_of_the_Kingdom
Appearance:
History On Li: Link arrived on Li while diving from a Skyview Tower. He didn't actually see the change because it happened while he was being flung high into the air and was temporarily blinded, but the moment he looked down he realized the world was different. Luckily, this also helped him spot the life sphere which probably stands out a lot because of its energy dome and he was never really lost. After parasailing down to the ground and getting a feel for his surroundings, he set out for the only place he was pretty sure contained life: Peach's Castle! ...What? Farms are better indications of life than energy domes.
He stayed a while at the castle until he was ready to make the journey to the actual life sphere, probably doing a few side quests while he was there to earn his keep and make sure he was fed, maybe helping around on the farm, including setting aside a plot to grow some fruits of his own he'd brought over so that he wouldn't run out later. It was actually news that Zelda was in the Life Sphere that caused him to finally leave, as by now he was very tired of losing her and didn't want to be away from her if he could help it.
Primary Attacks (3)
Flurry Rush: A rapid series of strikes with Link's weapon of choice [DMG 8%]
Heavy Blow: Link puts his full weight behind an attack with his weapon. [DMG 18%]
Jump Slash: A powerful overhead leaping slash. It's slow, but if it hits it hits hard. The attack has a -2 to its accuracy and a 1 turn cooldown. [DMG 28%]
Special Attacks (3)
Split Second Dodge: Whenever Link rolls 20+ to dodge a melee attack, he can attack the target back with his flurry rush without spending an action.
Parry: Link can attempt to parry an attack by rolling strength against it instead of trying to dodge. If he beats the roll, his bubble-shield only takes half damage and he gains a +2 on his next attack. Otherwise, his bubble shield takes full damage. If the attack was ranged and he rolls 20+ while beating the roll, it's reflected back at a target of his choice. Link can't reflect critical hits.
Bow: Link draws back a bow and fires it at an enemy! There are a variety of ways he can use a bow.
- Lynel Bow: Fires 3 arrows at once for an 8% comboable light attack
- Precise Shot: Fires a single arrow for 18% Damage
- Fuse Item: Link can spend an action to fuse any item to an arrow. When that arrow strikes, the item attached to it activates in addition to its normal effects.
- Elemental Fusion: Link can spend an action to fuse an elemental fruit or some chuchu jelly to an arrow. Depending on the specific fruit/jelly he attaches it adds a 100% chance of afflicting the soaked, burned, paralyzed, or frozen status to that arrow.
- Fuse Dazzlefruit: Link can spend an action to fuse a dazzlefruit to an arrow. A dazzlefruit violently pops on contact, blinding anyone hit by it.
- Fuse Monster Parts: Link can spend an action to fuse a keese eye and keese wings to an arrow These arrows fly on their own and home in on targets, giving them a +3 to its accuracy. It also doesn't lose it's speed, as easily, meaning it hits harder, doing 8 more damage.
- Fuse Korok Frond: Link can spend an action to fuse a korok frond to an arrow. The magical frond creates a magical twister of wind in the wake of the arrow that violently shoves enemies, perhaps even knocking them away if they're smaller. It adds a 100% chance of stunning the enemy.
Final Smash (1)
Ancient Arrow: Link fires a special arrow that disintegrates it's target, dealing 60% damage
