Atari is the new A-girl on the Puyo block, introduced in Puyo Puyo Quest's new story mode. A newbie in the Spacetime Detective Agency of Intral City, Atari is sent throughout different times and places to solve spacetime anomalies. She's got the pluck and heart, but she's got the problem of plunging headfirst into anything, and making Amitie's ditziness feel very tame by comparison with her antics. Atari is going to be a physical attacker, with a general theme of moves that take from the various meanings of her name (like 'hit the mark' or 'jackpot'). Part of me is also considering working in her disguises/cosplays as potential transformations (or just a gimmick) for her, and factoring in Puubot as a companion that supplies heals.
Hazel is a former engineer of Hexawan in One Step From Eden, and Saffron's bestie. After the invasion of her workplace, she had gone into seclusion within the woods until one of Saffron's Calamity-tier spells found its way to her, prompting her to take a journey to Eden to find her friend...only to die somewhere along the way and get resurrected and placed on Li for unknown reasons. Hazel is all about playing support to her own creations, only occasionally pitching with attacks of her own. She'll likely be accompanied by a turret companion that encompasses all the types of turrets that OSFE has to offer, and a gimmick to build other structures and fortify them with her huge wrench.
Bernadetta is a student in the Black Eagles house in Fire Emblem Three Houses. While a pretty capable archer all things considered, she is a social recluse, very timid, and has a nasty case of persecution complex. So y'know...the perfect target to have forced social interaction and having to save a doomed sphere! I'm taking her from pre-timeskip Crimson Flower, prooobably about the time the Garreg Mach takeover's finished. Bernadetta's likely gonna be a simple character, having a priority on bow attacks and Combat Arts with a dash of gauntlet arts because I can't get over the image of a timid social recluse suplexing a person. Maaaybe some sort of Durability mechanic? Probably not.
Larry is the (self-proclaimed?) leader of the Koopalings from the Mario series. My interpretation of him is a bit different from canon, being the responsible sibling to...every other Koopaling's foolish (or chaotic). Loves his family to bits, but he's always exasperated and tired of dealing with their shenanigans. And now with the situation they're in, Larry has to try to keep calm and be civil, or else he'll blow up and break something as a result. Larry will likely be a magical tank focusing on ice, very likely involving a gimmick that ties into his fleeting temper, and changes his disposition to an aggressive attacker with fire attacks.
Alear is the child of Lumera and the successor Divine Dragon in Fire Emblem Engage. She's tasked with getting all 12 Emblem Rings scattered across Elyos to seal the Dark Dragon Sombron after Lumera passed away. There's more to her, but for the sake of spoilers of this fairly recent game, I'm not gonna touch on that. Alear will include a gimmick where she will have most, if not all Emblem Rings, which gives her different stat boosts and Engage attacks depending on the ring she has equipped. She'll also be able to give those rings to other characters in threads for them to get the bonuses too.
Eliwood is the Marquess of Pherae, part of the trio of lords in Blazing Blade, and an oldie of mine. I made his app so long ago, and I haven't really given him a fair shake looking back, so I've been thinking of picking him up again. Gentle, kind-hearted and idealistic, he firmly believes in doing the right thing, and treating every ally as an equal, however his nature frequently leads to a perception of him being naive or someone who needs a protector, rather than one who does the protecting. Eliwood's gonna be a jack of all trades, doing a little bit of both attack and support, with a small gimmick in which Durandal boosts his damage overall but reduces his accuracy slightly due to its heaviness, though he can switch to a Rapier to cancel the trade-off.
Lyra is a Pokémon Trainer from the region of Johto, and one of the two possible choices of the protagonist in Pokémon Heart Gold and Soul Silver. This one would be a Soul Silver protagonist, likely post-game. Her Pokémon team will consist of Meganium (general support Mon with heals and defensive buffs), Celebi (All about debuffing and inflicting status) and Lugia (the powerhouse). |
