Flandre Scarlet
Gensokyo - Universe E1/Touhou
Alignment: Neutral Good
Motto: "My big sister squeals when I squeeze her. It's so cute! Do you want me to squeeze you, too?"
Allies/Friends: Remilia, Scarlet Mansion residents, people who are not vampire hunters.
Enemies/Rivals: Sakuya Izayoi, Vampire Hunters, anyone who threatens Remilia.
Backstory: Sure
...Except, it's a little different. In the universe that Flandre was in, the world was much more prejudiced against vampires and demons, leading the Scarlet Devil Mansion to become a haven of sorts to all forms of youkai. Eventually, Remilia disappeared (and much earlier than she was apparently meant to), leading Flandre on a mission to find her sister as, without her charisma, the Scarlet Devil Mansion lost much of its power.
This Flandre is notably a little different than the Flandre of the main universe - because of her 'distorted fate' (whatever that means), she's managed to tame some of her insanity and destructive urges within her sword, resulting in her being a slightly more stable individual - in fact, one of her adventures lead her to a universe where she became the one who actually gets things done in the absence of Sakuya, who was apparently a vampire hunter in that universe.
Appearance:
Really, she's not sure what happened - experimenting with time travel to undo her fate and stop her sister from disappearing was a poor decision, perhaps. Either way, as she attempted to unshackle herself from her fate and find her sister, her own magic caused her to collapse... And she awakened somewhere in the western hemisphere.
A land she'd never seen before holds promise, so Flandre continues her search for Remilia here.
Primary Attacks (3)
Laevateinn: A sword made of Flandre's destructive soul. It contains much of her urge to destroy, and channeling her power through it is her preferred way of fighting. Its element is also 'heated death'. I have no fucking idea what that statement means. Its power grows in proportion to her soul's power. [WIS-based combo, 3% + WIS Mod damage.]
Human Mouse Trap: It wouldn't be a Touhou character without bullets! An attack she made to trap a vampire hunter, this attack throws bullets to slowly trap and damage targets.
While its initial damage is low, successful use of it triggers the Bullet Hell status, wherein a target must roll above a 12 in DEX to avoid a verifiable bullet hell coming from all sides! Said bullet hell starts at 2%, and increases by the same amount with every successful hit of Human Mouse Trap, capping at 10%. [13% WIS, inflicts Bullet Hell.]
Neck Hunt Clock: More bullets, of course. After all, a bullet hell's useless against a legendary vampire hunter if they're too fast. These bullets spin with blades protruding out, cutting those it makes contact with and crippling their overall speed. Usage costs 25 Information. [18% damage, -4 DEX debuff on target for three turns. Costs 25 Information, has a three turn cooldown.]
Starbow Break: Flandre accelerates to high speeds, attempting to thrust Laevateinn into a target along with a flurry of rainbow bullets. Power grows in proportion to how strong her magic is. [8% + WIS Modx2 damage]
Special Attacks (3)
Information Absorption: In her obsession to find her sister, Flandre became absolutely paranoid about the prospect of being able to lose any information, as anything could be a clue to help her find Remilia. Because of that, Flandre's madness manifested as an obsession with retaining information. Anything, even souls and spirits, are sources of information that Flandre can absorb. Of course, I am using it a resource for attacks because it seems to power at least some of her attacks anyways.
Flandre starts any given battle or threat with 25 Information, and gains information equivalent to damage she has dealt or received. She can also sacrifice an action to draw 25 Information from any souls or such in the area. Her Information caps at 100. [Passive]
Information Paradox: Flandre refuses to let go. She consumes as much information as possible in her obsession, even as her very being begins to change and distort - and even emit heat.
(No, I don't know why absorbing information makes her heat up.)
Flandre's obsession ultimately results in a huge output of heat from her gathered information, dealing massive damage to enemies in a 10 foot radius around her.
[40% WIS, AOE, consumes 50 Information. Two turn cooldown.]
Loyal Bloody Battler: Although her sword contains much of her madness, it doesn't contain all of it, and she can explosively release power as she gets more excited. Playthings with her don't last long.
Loyal Bloody Battler starts as providing a +1 Mod to both WIS and DEX, and every 20% she takes, the ability provides an additional +1 Mod to each, although using it will clear out any accumulated damage for the ability. [Buff, starts as +1 WIS and DEX, gains +1 to each every 30% HP lost, but clears all accumulated damage in the process. Lasts 3 turns, 3 turn cooldown.]
Final Smash (1)
Distorted Power to Destroy Anything - Flandre's innate ability, corrupted by a bunch of alternate universe and fate stuff. By tapping into it, Flandre can grant herself significantly more power, at the cost of a little sanity.
When the ability is activated, Flandre gains an additional +3 to WIS and DEX mods for three turns, and the ability is empowered by Information. At 50 Information, Flandre rolls with Advantage. At 100 Information, Flandre can land critical hits on attacks by rolling 19s instead of 20s.
Other Info: I'm sorry
