Omega
- Reploid Messiah -

The gusting winds of Li blow across the wasteland of a desert, large mounds of sand being placed atop what can only be described as the corpse of a metal giant. This world takes the broken and discarded toys of the multiverse and mashes them all together in some kind of, hellish sandbox. So it's no wonder how the remains of that legendary battleground ended up here. But not all is as it was in this ancient mechanical monolith's heyday. A bright blue gem glows, and the sands shift.

Omega slowly raises his head up. He barely feels his legs, and a good half of his upper torso is missing. But he still functions. Raising his arm from the sands, like a mountain awakening after thousands of years, his red and black frame slowly raises from the beige grains of dust that construct the landscape. How does he function? He remembers a massive explosion after he had-

... The Dark Elf. In their last few moments of being fused, while that enormous ball of fire consumed them, it must have caused a tear between reality and Cyberspace. But this begs the question, where is he now? Omega doesn't know. Slowly coming to his feet to make sure they still function, he takes in a sharp breath and grabs at his forehead, growling loudly! Wherever he is, it's far enough to be outside of Dr. Weil's range of control. He feels something... invading his mind! The machine has never felt such pain as this, being forced to scream in agony while an old voice echoes in his mind.

"After him! He is my nemesis! Our rivalry is what gives me motivation in life!"

As his screaming continues, his headaches grow more and more intense, before the reploid suddenly slams his own fist into his metallic forehead! It drives off the invasion for the time being, and he catches his breath. It must be... something from the times of the original. Something Lord Weil had buried during the transfer of consciousness. But now, there's no Lord Weil to fix him. And that's when there's a series of rapid beeps, causing Omega to hum and raise his head. Some sort of lock-on, a tracker for something on his right.

He blinks in confusion. His saber? Perhaps his subsystems lost it's signal and he was too distracted to notice. But anyone could have it by now, even... him. He hesitates before the strong wind blows nearby, moving some sand to reveal the severed arm and portion of his torso it's attached to. With the narrowing of his eyes, he walks over and pulls the arm out of the ground. Holding onto his limb and looking towards the beacon in his vision, the quiet reploid begins it's long travel to retrieve his weapon.

Hopefully he can find someone to repair him, too.

[Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik]

"Badniks, report!" Eggman commanded through a speaker in one of a group of bee and monkey like robots. They gave some sound that did not seem interruptable to normal ears. The scientist got the meaning though. "So, you've found a... energy sword?" he almost sounded disappointed. Though on further thought... "Well, studying it's inner workings may not be a total waste of time. Alright, bring it back," The monkey nodded to the order and grabbed it before hopping onto a bee robot to zoom off.

As Omega got the location of the Omega Saber the distance seemed to be steadily raising. Seeming to imply it was being transported. However before he could pursue it for long something sped past him. A blue blur of something zipping by him.

The robot's red eyes looked back at the figure it just passed. Another robot in a fair state of disrepair. Normally he'd consider it not worth his time but there was a strong energy output coming from him. Even in that state this might be worth his time and a decent enough challenge.

The blue hedgehog like machine hopped and turned curled into a ball. It reversed it's momentum with a spindash and zoomed back for Omega. It would hop and attempt to cut into him with the super metal sonic spin.

- Reploid Messiah -

A quiet rage is builds in Omega as he sees the distance indicator slowly rise, despite the considerable distance he's traveled so far. 1.9km, then 2.1km, soon it returns to its initial value of 2.3km. If it weren't for this damaged arm, he could go into Overdrive and easily catch up to whatever's taking his weapon. But he's already leaking energy, that would only harm him further. A good portion of his torso is attached to his arm, and that combined with his lack of a Dark Elf makes it so his power systems are far from optimal, at least compared to his own standard for such a thing.

A beeping is heard as his hud points an arrow to his right. Quickly dodging in the opposite direction, Omega barely lands on his feet in time to see the metallic blue blur come to a stop. Silence falls as machine faces machine. What is it, a reploid? It's a little short to be a combat robot, but with speed like that there's no way it's just a maintenance droid. The reploid suddenly gets into a modified battle stance as its opponent starts revving up in a ball form, tossing his right arm off into the sands and scowls.

The speed built up in the process of its revving is suddenly released as Omega's opponent shoots towards him! Shouting in a battle-fueled craze, the red machine thrusts his left hand forward, catching the robot as it's now curled into a ball. The force is still tremendous though, pushing him back in the sand before Omega shouts out, spinning around and tossing the steel hedgehog back towards where his arm was temporarily discarded. The reploid growls through grit teeth like a cornered animal, but doesn't yet attack, nor even speak. His buster pistol is on his hip, but putting too much energy into it could ruin any chances Omega might have of being able to find repairs and save himself, much less getting his saber back. He just has to stand his ground for now, try and find an oppening.
