It was night time in the Ciel Household and Life Sphere Library as Aile stormed into her room and laid down. ".... It was meant to be just a harmless experimentation..." she muttered, staring at her ceiling. Ever since she came to this place... something didn't feel right. The family was nice but did she belong here? Did she deserve to be here? She tried using her powers to satisfy Grey's curiosity and ended up getting him a talking to by some guy named Albert... She didn't need to know the context to know there was some absolutely horrid history there. Why did she uncover it? There was no benefit to doing that or even trying that! Model A was adamantly against it too. He was aware of the problem yet she just ignored him. Where did she think she had the right to do that?
"... Why does everything end up turning out that way?" she questioned. First she lost him, then she abandoned the Guardians, it feels like every decision she makes thinking she's right ends up wrong. Now she was trying to share Prarie with her other reality self? What kind of self-righteous idiot was she to abandon a girl in one reality and try to relate to her in another? "... What should I do? Be honest? No, I'll definitely screw that up..." she sighs. ".... Is there anything I can do to make up for all these dumb mistakes?" she questions.
"You want to make it up?"
"Can you really make it up?" Two voices suddenly came from next to her causing her to jump.

"... Are you Cyber Elves?" Aile questioned, never seeing anything like them before. How did they get in here without her noticing? They exhibit a... really unique energy to them too.
"Kinda!"
"We may be..."
"What we are is not important though."
"Curiosity not worth sating."
"What's important is you want to make up right?"
"Repent for all your failures?"
They just kept talking to her not answering her question... And more or less repeating each other. She got an... off vibe from them. "... And if I do?"
"You can't."
"Completely impossible."
"Destined for failure."
"Totally incompetent."
"Couldn't avenge anything."
"A failed guardian."
"A pathetic person."
"Can you be more sad?"
"Totally irredeemable."
Aile felt annoyance boil inside her. They were just... brutally bringing her down. Yet... despite her frustration at their rudeness she said nothing... Because she knew she agreed with them deep down. Those were all things she felt about herself. It was painful hearing them said out loud. While she was trying to find some strength they continued.
"Still there is a chance you can atone."
"Judgement may of been given but even the unforgivable deserve one more try."
"First you must cut your ties."
"End your connections."
"Walk out."
"Never look back."
The girl looked to the strange orb as they gave their advice... She wants her to leave? She was... already considering it admittedly but she wasn't sure what she would do... She curled up a bit as she thought about it. "... What would that do?" she asked.
"To what end?"
"You ask what's the point?"
"You possess a miraculous and familiar power."
"A power undeserved as it is mighty."
"One born from a legendary hero..."
"And Mother."
The legendary Hero meant... X, right? The other... "Mother?"
"Yes, Mother~!"
"The most powerful of all elves."
"She requires your strength."
"Familiar strength."
"Return to Mother~"
"Mother~"
.... Was this elf really connected to her somehow? Did it... really hurt to check? She could feel they weren't telling her everything... And still bringing her down at points. Still, if she at least knew maybe she could actually make progress... "... Alright, take me to her," she decides as she walked to her wall and phased out to leave. The two disappeared... Apparently intending to meet her outside.
"Aile? Where are you going at this hour?" Roll stopped Aile as she was just about to leave the city.
"... I'm leaving. You can tell the others not to expect me to return..." she replies before flying off quicker than Roll could keep up.
"Aile, wait!" she called as her voice got distant.
"Wow, that was cold."
"Absolutely ruthless."
"At least you gave a goodbye."
"Some kids leave their parents expecting them with dinner."
"... I did what you wanted. Let's just go," Aile dismissively replied.
"That's fair~!"
"Rude but true~!"
"Return to mother~!"
"Mother~!"
