A soft grin was spread across Helena's face as she strode out onto the Stadium. Her hefty form causing the ground to shake ever so slightly as she crossed the area. Her tail swishing out, the tip leaving a chocolate line on the ground as it swished across like a paint brush, drawing a line between herself and her oncoming sparring partner.

"And of course, now that we're signed up and all ready too go. We turn too each and get ready to go at it. There's nothing too crazy about sparring, you just fight each other like you would any other enemy and see wins that day." She put it rather simply as she spoke. Keeping her back turned too her monochrome guest as she smirked too herself. Her right arm holding itself out as she flexed her fingers, eyes glancing out too the small amount of people still left in the stands. Those were the diehard fans. The ones willing to stay behind and see the upcomers get their start. She had one hell of an Upcomer in store for them.

In true utter contrast, the air barely stirred as the other contestant entered after Helena. Smoothly rolling over the dirt with the lights shining off their surface, the fluid movement almost looking like floating as they approached were it not for the little gemstone rotating in their center. It came to a pause a few paces away from the line, the surface glistening softly in stillness before the orb suddenly expanded. New mass swelled out from the core, rising and widening the sphere until it was as tall as Helena's highest point before seeming to collapse in on itself, like a balloon suddenly being deflated with an object inside as it converged into the shape of the hellhound.

The few fans lucky enough to be sitting in the direction of the line between them would get to see a perfect mirror as false musculature flexed and stretched experimentally before taking on the same stance. Aside from the transparent grey that made up their body, the most glaring difference would have to be the excited innocence shining in their eyes as they looked to their opponent.

"Thank you miss Helena, I don't know very much about fighting, but I hope you teach me well!" Almost unbefitting the face they grinned purely, giving a nod of confirmation!

And with that, she'd spin back around too face Orb, waiting for them too do the same before lunging forward. Her immense body weight slamming forward into her monochrome doppelganger. Part of her body destabilizing as she aimed to wrap partially over Orb's form. Aiming to leave them vulnerable to a series of swift rapid punches, each of which were coated in warm chocolate that seemed to try sticking too their form.

As soon as she ended her barrage of attacks, she'd reel back. Her gauntlets lighting up as bright blue flame began too spew out from the holes around them, wrapping around her hand as it shifted into a large claw. The former hellhound slashing with it, causing a large explosion of blue flame to push herself back, dislodging Orb if they were in her grip and sending her skidding away from them. Bits of her fur singing from the blast.

As they turned to face Helena they seemed to almost completely ignore the potential danger, wide bright eyes taking in every moment as they stood their and got promptly bear hugged without a struggle, whisked away by the hellhound's grip as they got a feel of the strange dense substance making up her mirror image. Every punch landed without fail, even as the slick surface let the chocolate mostly slough away to the ground, aside from a small splatter left behind by one strike.

"That... Was amazing!" With a few bits molded strangely, misshapen or missing, the mirror stood back up, eyes bright as they took on a fighting stance. Their body seemed to tense in earnest, trying to follow Helena's movements that they'd seen. They took an eager step forward, eager to show their progress in this new world called fighting.

"Come on, you gotta put some more back into it! Helena would swiftly dodge out of the way of that first attack. Her heavy form not doing much to halt any of the more nimble dodges she needed to perform. Her guard kept up as she raised her arms to block and deflect that first punch, before the second rocked her face.

As her striking foot landed back down on the ground Helena would swiftly stomp her foot into the ground, causing it stretch though the stone and dirt until it smashed out of the ground beneath the monochrome clone. A bubble chocolate bursting and leaving behind a puddle where her foot burst from the ground. The surprise attack ending as soon as it started as Helena's foot retreated back too her leg...

"Right... Legs" Orb glanced down below for a moment as if remembering they were there, keeping an eye on watching Helena's dodges. They stood frozen as they observed, eyes wide and patient for the next steps. A sloppy hop backwards from the kick, rough but effective enough to get out of the way as their tail slapped into the dirt behind them to get their balance.

Only to be caught by their teacher, throat in hand.
They eyed the other hand, but were otherwise limp, waiting to see what would happen. In the moment Helena thrust her hand forward, Orb's eyes seemed to brighten, their own hand coming up to meet hers as some of the transparency seemed to fade from that arm, a palm to a palm that felt like smacking reinforced glass.

The light faded and a look of concern replaced it, concentration without a conclusion. "I didn't... Understand that last one." A slight frown as they tried to recall that last attack that Helena used, but it felt like something was missing. It wasn't quite all there, and it was frustrating... But there were other things to focus on. With a blink their eyes cleared again as their legs flexed, seemingly unphased being supported by their throat as they went through the motions, their body swinging in Helena's grip to throw out their legs in a rapid array towards her stomach, with a final swipe for her own legs. "But I still got the rest!"

Helena would notice the strange look that crossed Orb's face. She wouldn't say anything, but even in the heat of battle of she could hear that bit of dissatisfaction in their voice. Of course she was gonna save her worry for another time. Right now she had too deal with her foe's wild kicks. The mochi wincing as those first three kicks connected. Bruising her stomach and knocking away some of her own mass, she was gonna need too collect that back later.

KA-THWAP! "You cheeky little..." Of all the things that got her too stop for a moment, it was that punch as the monochrome hound struck home. A powerful strike too her hindquarters causing her to stiffen up a bit as her eyes went wide. The strike causing an audible clap too fill the air as her entire lower half rippled from the impact. She'd just stand there, with Orb in her arms, for a few moments. Dead silence filling the air around them before...

"You know what, I'm putting you in time out for that." As she said that she'd tighten her grip over the orb. Using her immense strength to try and wrestle the doppelganger closer too her. Her eye flames flaring up as she looked down at the monochrome image of herself, licked her lips, and proceeded to unhinge her jaws like a snake. An action that would be absolutely horrifying too most onlookers as she began trying to cram her opponent into her mouth. Her bizare body able to easily stretch to accommodate someone the same size as herself as she tried to get revenge... with her stomach.

Seeing some hits start to connect more regularly brought a bit of a grin to their face, the mischievous bean giggling as their sneak attack seemed to work perfectly. New Permanant Memory: The butt is the weak spot. The giggling continued through Helena's otherwise stillness, just proud and excited that their first time using the move managed to work so well! "I'm just doing what you showed me, you're a good teacher!"

Inside Orb was briefly stunned by the new developments. Time out... Sucked. Their squishy body huffed grumpily, shoving out for more room as they thought. Okay, so this was a fight, and everything else before this was a fight... Is this just part of fighting too? Some of the monsters back home tried it on eachother, but seeing it happen here was... Startling. But if it was happening here, that must be how it is. The fight was still on. With a deep breath and a flex Helena would suddenly feel a powerful thud fighting back inside! "I'm not just gonna give up! I don't wanna be in time out!"

Helena was surprisingly quick when it came too eating someone the same size of her. Her body moving with such ferocity certainty that you could only assume it was a practiced action. Which in some ways... it was. But this wasn't the time or place too discuss such a thing. Instead all that really mattered was that Helena was standing there with a squirming belly. Her jaw resetting itself as she sighed and cracked her own neck a bit.

Orb would find themselves in quite the pit. The walls around them glowing gently with a bright blue light. The walls looked too be made of some kind of cake that undulated like proper flesh. Every inch of them dripping with more of that Chocolate Lava, but there was something off about it. It was tinged with the same light that coated the walls entrapping Orb. On top of that, they were subjected to an intense heat, like they'd been dumped into a sauna.

"Oh quit yer yappin, you're gonna need too get used too this too while you're here. Apparently the champ does shit like this too so... Urrrp... there's no doubt there'll be plenty of others willing too put you away like this. Gotta learn how too fight it." Helena would clench her fist as she felt Orb rock her gut. That heavy kick distending it a fair bit. But her almost rubbery form seemed too handle it well enough. So much that it returned fire! Almost immediately her monochrome friend would find themselves getting smothered in the cake-like walls of her body. Helena more just doing everything in her power to stay on her feet.

Orb squirmed under the uncomfortable pressure of the walls around them, keeping their arms and legs shoved out trying to give themself some room to listen. "The champion?... So this is just how some people fight" They went quiet for a moment as they took stock of their situation. They had to learn to fight it... It seemed like that hit before was at least kind of effective. Okay, if it works, just keep trying! "Understood teacher!" How nice of Helena to put them through the ropes and benevolently teach them the dangers of the world. That doesn't mean they're gonna go easy though!

Pulling one arm away from the walls they tried to get some leverage, throwing their weight into it as they punched the walls again! Another explosion of the colliding goo smothering them briefly.

Helena's motivational speech would be cut short as her stomach distended rapidly from the sudden explosion that Orb would cause, causing the hellhound to belch at the sudden release of air as smoke began to pour from her mouth.

Of course, her gut wasn't going too just take that lying down as it immediately smothered back in on the monochrome hound. squishing them from all angles and... even starting to absorb some of the goop that had splattered around just too reinforce itself more.

"Teacher's learning too? Then I must be doing a good job!" Orb responded cheerfully, almost proudly, awfully unfitting to their current predicament. Especially for someone that needed a few seconds just to reform their arms again. They flexed their new arms a bit just in time to be immediately smothered again by Helena's stomach, some of the mimic's features being lost as they were tightly compressed back into an almost orb-ish shape again. 

"Hnnnng..." That one definitely took a good bit of mass... But things still weren't over yet. With a strain and a flex they pushed out against the walls again, doing their best to force their shape back, just enough to free up one of their arms. They probably couldn't do anything huge, but progress was progress! A series of quick strikes, getting a bit desperate now with their limited mass. "Just a little more... I can keep going!"

Helena would grit her teeth at the next bit of squirming. Feeling Orb thrashing about and strike at her stomach. wearing away at the walls around them as Helena leaned her back against the nearest wall. This was taking longer than she thought. Normally most folks would be tired by now, but this was what she got for trying to eat the weird ball that she found. At least they didn't seem too be doing anything too destructive too her body.

"Damn you're resilient. I wanna tell you too keep going but I think I'm... ugh..." Orb was actually starting to upset her stomach a bit. The hellhound wincing too herself as she closed her eyes and actually focused, squeezing her core down around her foe to try and restrain them a bit more.

"I was made to be! Does that mean I'm doing good?" They were a little hopeful at this point, the constant pressing walls starting to get to them at this point as it got harder and harder to give themself any space. They had to be close at this point, they could feel Helena shifting around outside, and what they'd said... They have to be close. Their eyes fell down to their hand, the most effective thing so far was that explosion... Maybe with just a bit of concentration.

They tried, coallescing slime into their fist. The mass definitely increased but the flickering never came, a long spell of silence going on as they tried and failed to bring it forth. A defeated huff escaped them. Okay, second best thing. That last attempt worked at least a little, so how about... do it again? With most of their body squished together, it was more a rough outward nudging than a punch, luckily for orb, when your whole body is basically a muscle you don't really need formal style in order to get some force! "J-just... a little more!"
