This poll is just of characters I have considered that have came to mind, some more prominent in my head than others but this poll will achieve a record of three Purple jokes so it all works out.

The quality of a poll is directly proportionate to how Purple it is! That's a fact.

My votes:

Iris is a sweetie with some very slight maverick tendencies. That could be fun.

Is Grey a trans? Maybe.

Hunter is the perfect avenue for stupid-yet-funny gags told in a surfer accent.

Bianca has a blank check for magic. I would probably pull from D&D to flesh her out. She's got quite a bit going on, though you're canonically shipped to Hunter.

Elora is great but will give you a Hell of a time in the moveset department since she's a non-combatant.

Witch Valorie is a weird little dwarf thing and I miss her sometimes.

Serena is beautiful and I would not pass up the opportunity to give her a food magic themed moveset. ...Whenever I got the justification to give her one.

Riku ... Look at me and tell me I suck.

Larxene has daggers and I have a back. It's a good combination.

Halloween Purple is objectively the best Purple, but not voting for a Purple is a sin of hubris, duplicity, and sacrilege.

I'm surprised we haven't had any Megaman Legends representation. Roll Caskett would be a fun addition I believe. More Kingdom Hearts characters is fun too.

Well I plan on apping for Rock/Megaman Volnutt...as soon as I get some coins. Roll would be difficult since she's not a combat character. Gonna have to work outside of the box for that one.

Same for Elora. Like Mari said, you're gonna have a hell of a time trying to make her work.

Serena...man, I have a love-hate thing for her, mostly in the anime. I'm not a huge Amorashipper, but at the same time, it'll be funny for her to meet with Ash...especially when I try to write Ash how he was in the early anime when he was a big brat (granted he won't be mean to Serena, but his mouth does tend to run before his mind stops it).

Will I be shunned when I admit that I'm more of a Mario/Pauline fan than Mario/Peach?

I play Raguna who is from a Harvest Moon type game and I made him work. I imagine that Roll Caskett could just use tons of her inventions to aid her in battle. As for you wanting to play Megaman Volnutt, well I could donate the needed coins for you if you do app him. 

Anyways that's my two cents on Cool playing Roll Caskett. It's my prime choice at least.
