Spyro & Sparx
()
()
Being a teenage Dragon, Spyro is a capable flyer and can keep constant elevation for prolonged flight or aerial combat.
Sparx is a Dragonfly and capable of the same flight abilities. Sparx does not participate in battle and has no extra function beyond being a constant companion of Spyro & second voice.
(3) Primary Attacks:
In terms of fighting, Spyro is quick-footed, heavy hitter. He gets in quick & deals his blows but is able to take some as well. He uses his natural affinity for multiple elements for surprise & variety in close-mid ranged ground/aerial combat.(3) Special Abilities:
(1) Jaws & Claws: Sharp Strikes - Razor sharp claws & pointy teeth make any Dragon what they are. Spyro's natural weapons are as dangerous as any blade, and enforced by the still growing muscle of a teenage Male Dragon.
(2) Heads & Tails: Blunt Strikes - Spyro likes to use his head, sometimes quite literally, with his thick skull able to make quite the impact. A Mace-like tail end on Spyro's tail also makes getting in his Melee range a mistake by dishing out damage with strong lashes with his natural tail weapon.
(3) Fire Element: Flame Breath - Spyro's 1st & natural element. Thin but almost constant wisps of smoke emerge from Spyro's Nostrils as he keeps the fire glands in his throat warm and active.* Like all breathes, Fire Breath is a steady stream of fire form Spyro's mouth that ends at about 10ft away. It can be used in shorter bursts that travel about half the distance but have a better rapid fire rate.
(1) Lightning Element: Shock Charge - From Spyro's 2nd element. Small sparks dash about Spyro's frame as the natural electricity in the air moves to him. Spirals of yellow bolts briefly revolve around Spyro as he tackles or rams into an opponent to catch them in the bolts and deal moderate Lightning damage to them.(1) Ultimate Attack:
(2) Ice Element: Polar Bomb - From Spyro's 3rd element. Useful in many ways, the Polar Bomb is a blue energy ball that launches from Spyro's mouth. It explodes to make a small section (about 2ft diameter) of the air to freeze solid. It can be a useful frost damage explosive against opponents, but the frozen air it makes also remains suspended exactly where it froze over, creating possible floating platforms that Spyro or others could use. The frozen section from a bomb remains frozen for 2 of Spyro's posts, thawing afterward.
(3) Earth Element: Rock Shot - From Spyro's 4th element. Even ranged hits can be heavy hitting. Green energy launches from Spyro's mouth and swiftly forms into a sizable, but small boulder that rockets in the direction Spyro fired it to deal strong earthen damage.
(1) Dark Spyro: Transformation + Convexity Fury - The transformation taps into the power that only Purple Dragons can, the element of Convexity, his 5th & most powerful element. The only problem with this though, is that this power awakens Spyro's inner darkness from Malefor's influence. While Dark Spyro, his recognition of allies & enemy becomes blurred & he becomes more maleficent in nature. All of Spyro's element abilities use Convexity Element (pure non-elemental energy which appears as purple bolts) instead of their regular element, while still having the same functions & effects as before. Spyro ends the transformation with the Convexity Fury, 3 subsequent & powerful bursts of Convexity energy in all directions to about 16ft away, damaging anything and everyone in that range. After ending the transformation Spyro returns to his normal self.History On Li:
Transformation Duration: Max of 2 posts, using the Convexity Fury ends the transformation straight afterward.
Spyro had used his ultimate power to save the Dragon Realms, and bring peace to a destroyed world by fulfilling his part of the prophecy. With Cynder they watched over the long healing process as the Realms continued to piece itself back together. But while away from the paradise he has with Cynder, Spyro & Sparx were caught by surprise by sudden disturbance and chaotic presence. As an unexpected auto-defense against what was happening, Spyro used his time magic to encase himself in a Time Crystal, with Sparx being caught in the preserving crystal with him. In the amber Time Crystal, Spyro & Sparx crashed landed somewhere on Li. Currently trapped in time, the crystal containing the duo remain mostly buried under the surface of wherever they crashed in Li.Other Info:
*As a result of being on most of the time, Spyro's fire glands intensely heat & essentially 'cook' the air he in his mouth and that he breaths in. Like a filter, airborne Starvia has a very difficult time getting into his system via inhalation. It doesn't protect him as strongly from ingesting Starvia somehow though.
