It was that time of year! One of Big's favorite holidays(if you could call it that) has graced the calendar of Li once again! Halloween was upon the Life Sphere and various residents have decorated their homes in scary fashion with whatever makeshift accessories and spooky finds they could muster. Big's Brightwing Lane apartment porch was decked out with cobwebs made of cotton balls, candles made of his earwax, slime made of Froggy's sweat to decorate his banister, and plastic spiders made of disposable forks.

But it didn't stop there! Inside of his BIGchelor pad was much more decorated with various printed photos of scary halloween monsters and classic horror icons including Bowser in a werewolf costume, past sonic baddies as various beasties, and a photo of Amy as a witch; all plastered along his walls to give his home a seasonal feel.

Where he got access to a printer or even learned to use one is a complete mystery! He also had real skulls he had found sitting in the Li Wastelands that he washed and took back to his place to spread around his space and add to his spooktacular regalia. But even as scary great as his Halloween spirit and his place was, he still felt somewhat lonely even with Froggy.

He had his big halloween party at Busy Bee Lobby he is just about to head to, and not a single person that he knew of has yet to accept his invitation! It was hard to miss it since he had plastered copies of his halloween invite all over everyone's homes along the Lane including in public spaces like Rainbow Square, Sunshine Stadium, the Black Market, the Police HQ, and well, you get the picture, any bulletin board and empty spot he could find really, you'll see his poorly taped and hand written poster invites everywhere.

Big looks down at Froggy as they both leave his apartment and head to Busy Bee Lobby anxious and nervous for the halloween bash. "Ya think they noticed our spelling errors and turned tail little buddy? I know my writing can be a little rough at times..." Froggy looked up at his best friend, blinked one eye, and let out a croak of honesty. Big sighs. "Yeah, you're right; our costumes aren't that great either are they? I mean look at us." Big looks himself up and down dressed as everyone's favorite blue hero not long ago thinking he would have the best costume out of them all when he reached the party but now having second thoughts.



"I personally think it's a little much yeah? But yours looks just great Froggy!" Big beams with excitement and awe at Froggy's choice of costume whereas Froggy stays silent a bit unsure of it himself.



"I think dressing up as a dog was a great choice! Very bold buddy! I don't know if we will win that costume contest, but we sure can put up a fight for our competition I bet! That is...if anyone shows up. Nobody has said a thing to us yet about if they are going or not. We'll have to see! But the good news is, if we ARE the only ones, we get the punch to ourselves!" Froggy ribbits in positivity at the comment looking at the bright side with his friend. As Big says this, the duo reach the Busy Bee Lobby, open the doors and make the best of whatever was to come in the moment.

The space was naturally fully decked out in Halloween holly! Scary decorations and frightful finds everywhere one turned really making the space a wonderfully themed extravaganza. There was also some bangin halloween music playing in the background to set the mood. Currently "Monster Mash" was blaring over the lobby's loud speakers and the DJ at the far corner of the room was definitely in the zone with all his equipment jamming to his own beats, if the party goers looked closely, they might recognize the individual quite well!

[Jade Callisto]

Vanitas was usually hanging around the Brightwing Lane near some trees as he really didn't have a home to himself, not that he needed one mind you since well he didn't need to eat or sleep really. Still as he saw the several poster invites to something called a Halloween party, It intrigued him a bit. Mostly because he had been to a world all about Halloween and he fit right in with the dark and gloomy setting of said world. Some could mistake his actual outfit as a costume, which in reality it was not. One of the posters was posted on the tree he always rested under, sure he didn't need to sleep but he would do so if he felt bored, which was most of the time. 

Snatching the poster from the tree he was always by he would take a look at it. "Free food and drink? Music and even costume stuff? Hmm." Vanitas wondered if their were anything worth doing over there. He was never really one for parties, well actually he's never been to one that he wanted to just crash. "Eh why not. I got nothing better to do." Vanitas would take the invitation and head on over toward the Busy Bee Lobby as himself. He didn't need a costume as far as he was concerned, his presence was scary enough as it is especially given that he could summon his Unversed which really just made him look even more imposing. 

Vanitas made his entrance to the party as the first guest here, but likely not the last. Around him was a variety of Unversed that made up his own personal army, most of which were slowly walking or floating behind him. None of them were giant in size though but it did make Vanitas all the more scary with all this.



Vanitas looked at the purple cat thing dressed as Sonic and his pet frog dressed like a dog with contempt. However this was probably the host of this event so Vanitas held back a bit as he arrived. "Got this poster near the tree where I was sleeping. I don't exactly live anywhere so I don't have a costume." Vanitas said honestly but in an annoyed tone of voice.
Vanitas looked very annoyed of course but he couldn't help but be secretly curious of this whole thing. "What do you do at a party anyway? Never been to one." Vanitas asked in a pretty rude tone of voice. He wasn't exactly known for being polite, thankfully he was in a good enough mood to not simply crash this party then wreck it.  

[Sunnivale]

Pertisia was busy getting ready to go out this Halloween. She was dressing up in a red plugsuit, the same kind some teenagers would wear to fight off some intergalactic threat to the world. "This looks good. I'm likely to get more candy then just taking the easy way out and wearing my Selia Snow dress." Pertisia wanted to try a harder way to get candy this year, as she often got candy too easily due to her status and the fact that her parents just bought candy for her.

As Pertisia almost finished getting ready, she heard something by her door, curious, she walked over towards it. Snowball, who was sleeping nearby, woke up when she heard the noise and hiss at the door. Pertisia petted her cat. "It's alright Snowball. It's nothing too serious if it's trying to get through the letter flap." Although Pertisia was still curious as to what the thing that was trying to get through her door was.

Was it a letter of some kind?

Finally, the mysterious paper, which was the invitation to Big's party, finally flew out through the door and into Pertisia's eye, after some delay with it getting itself through the door.

"Ow!"

The injury wasn't too bad, not unlike her first eye injury, although Pertisia was going to have to wear an eyepatch for a few days now, but she felt as though her costume was ruined and someone was going to have to pay for it. Big the Cat, according to the invitation.

Pertisia soon arrived at the party, where she bumped into two other girls who had just arrived at the party just now, Madotsuki and Sam, each in their costumes of their own.

Madotsuki was wearing a straw hat and a red cardigan. She also replaced her shoes with sandal's. "What are you supposed to be?" Pertisia asked Madotsuki, who was busy eating food that she found at the party.

"A pirate with a big heart and appetite. Also something something, supposedly made of rubber. But I have dream powers instead." Madotsuki didn't want to talk about the last time she tried anything with rubber. Let's just say that it took a week to undo.

As for Sam, well, she turned towards Pertisia and Madotsuki, where the two girls noticed that a machete was sticking through her chest, with blood dripping from it.

"Ooh, you're a murder victim?" Pertisia had seen that kind of costume before, they were often fake and were placed at the side. Although she thought they were often placed by the head.

Sam looked around.

"Yeah, it's a costume." She quickly turned away.

"Ow." She quietly said, as Pertisia quickly looked around for Big the Cat.

"Anyway, I'm here to see Big the Cat. I want to know what this flyers about?" She asked, as Madotsuki pointed towards him and Vantias. Pertisia then approached him with the flyer that poked her eye.

As if the day couldn't get any more thrilling, along comes a Half-Genie in her Witch costume, riding on a broom.

"I guess I should consider myself lucky to get here, the festivities can be much better for fun times regardless." Shantae would say, landing next to Big and Patting him on the back.

[Mr. Game & Watch]

It was the talk of the town. How could it not be? Flyers were everywhere, it was bound to be a big event. No, more than that, it had to be a big event. The biggest Halloween bash that the Life Sphere had ever seen. Everyone who was anyone was going to be there. So of course, Lusamine had to be there. Mingling with the locals, boosting company awareness, and networking with the Life Sphere’s elite. There was no question about it. However, she couldn’t just show up on her own. If she was attending this extravagant gala, she needed to show up with someone. Someone powerful that complemented her image. She knew just the guy.

Strolling in through the front door of the Busy Bee Lobby, Captain Falcon strutted his stuff like he was walking down the red carpet. His attire wasn’t too far off from his casual wear, especially if one were to scan him from the bottom up. Looking upon his face though, that’s where things were a bit different. His head was an actual falcon’s head, a rather life-like mask that was pretty convincing. It almost seemed like he was an anthropomorphized falcon man.

Clung to his arm was clearly Lusamine, based on her cocoonish wall of hair and piercing green eyes, but if someone were to squint or identify her based on her outfit alone, they might mistake her for the Sinnoh region’s infamous champion, Cynthia. She proudly wore the gothic garb, walking like a fashion model as she waved to room, expecting a full house. As she noticed that the population was limited to a couple of yahoos and an empty dancefloor with a third-rate DJ, she looked a bit more pensive, as though she was cheated or lied to.

Lusamine turned her ire toward the masked Captain Falcon. “… This was supposed to be the biggest event of the year” she lamented.

Captain Falcon’s bird head whipped from side to side. For a falcon, he had pretty poor eyesight. “Sounds like a party to me!” Captain Falcon muffled through the mask.

“Mm, you should think of making better eye holes next time” Lusamine instructed as she waved a hand in front of his ‘face.’ As expected, there was no response from the bird man. She sighed. “But that’s fine, you go do your frat boy party business, just try not to embarrass me when the socialites start funneling in.” With that, she gave Captain Falcon a light pat on the shoulder and severed their linked arms.

With his new found freedom, Captain Falcon rushed his way to the dance floor, his helmet-like mask bobbing up and down as he moved. Just as he was ready to tear up the dance floor though, his head peeked upwards. He started sniffing the air. His head flicked around until it faced the punchbowl. “Falcon? PAUNCH!” he exclaimed excitedly as he sprinted like a man on a mission toward the punchbowl.

Lusamine watched the police chief from a distance, lightly shaking her head at his buffoonery. For the time being, she decided it was best to hang back and watch things as they played out. After all, who knew when an opportunity would present itself.

It seemed that Lusamine wasn’t the only one skulking about for opportunities. With the event being advertised everywhere, how could one such as Mr. Game & Watch let something like this go ignored? The last time he skipped out on a Halloween party, it turned into a big murder mystery, one that could have easily been solved by a mind as beautiful as his! No! He wasn’t letting this one get away, and he had just the perfect costume for the occasion.

Considering that Mr. G&W could take any form that he pleased whenever he wanted, the concept of a costume seemed trivial. He couldn’t just show up to the costume contest with whatever form he felt like taking, he had to make it seem like he put in the work if he really wanted to impress the judges. What was the one thing that his usual transformations lacked? Colour. As such he got to work. If the name of the game was to induce terror, then G&W was going as the most terrifying animal of them all…

MAN

Mr. Game & Watch stepped into the Busy Bee Lobby, mildly impressed by the Halloween themed decorations strung about. He’d grade it as a hard C, but he wasn’t here to play the part of nitpicky architect, he was here to win. His googly eyes flopped about as he searched around the room, his vision fixating on the big phoney Sonic. He seemed to be amassing a crowd, so he was the one he needed to impress.

With painstaking effort, Mr. G&W moved his legs like a regular joe. One foot, then the other. How do these normies walk like this without getting their legs tangled together? The answer probably lied in another dimension or something. Regardless, he moseyed on over to the collection of weird fleshy people and grabbed at his waist like he was holding a belt. “Hay-lo” he spoke with a strange mix of southern and old voice to text tone. “Fay-low, hue-mons” he added as his mouth flapped just shy of matching the words he was saying. “Eye-yam here to paw-r-tay, und dree-ink en-till I faw-all.”

Mr. Game & Watch held out a hand. “No-ew, hoo woo-ed ly-ick to dayn- cee?”

To Big and Froggy's surprise, people were showing up in droves to the whacky kooktacular halloween party! Big's eyes lit up in excitement as he saw several others make their way into the lobby full of energy and curiosity along with some very extravagant halloween costumes! The music in the lobby increased slightly in volume as the DJ noticed more guests arrive and attempted to make the place a little more lively. Big was approached by a rather rude and demonic looking fellow. He treated him as he would treat any other whom was a guest in his space; with warmth and respect and a hint of kindness despite the bad attitude which Big quickly forgave. Big went right to a jest in response to the guest's confusion on what to do at the party. "Don't live anywhere? Well even hobos can get costumes if they really wanted to! And you coulda fooled me! You look very costumey tonight!" Big was struggling to speak beyond the veil of his giant sonic head, he used his outside voice as much as he could.

"Need help finding a last minute garb? Maybe we can look around and see what we can make for you. Maybe we can take one of the table clothes around here and turn it into a ghost sheet for you really quick, that sounds fun doesn't it?" Big was actually quite serious about that question to entertain the guest's comment about lack of a costume, and Froggy croaked in agreement. "As for what you do at a party, well, I guess it's what you make of it bud. Depends on if you're an intro squirt or an extro vent. Or something like that. I don't exactly remember those fancy terms for social people and quiet people. But if there's any way me and Froggy here can help you feel comfortable and at home, let us know cause we sure want everyone to enjoy themselves!" Froggy does a hop and a ribbit at the comment wanting nothing but the best for the rude and creepy hellish looking fellow just as Big does.

After that exchange with the demon fellow, Big was approached by someone who seemed to have some kind of strange eye twitch and gestured to their agitated cornea. "Yikes looks like you might need to get that checked out - and hey, is that my flyer? Ooooo, did you make a paper airplane out of it? How creative!" Big gave a thumbs up at the individual not realizing they were likely very frustrated with him and his paper goods due to hurting themselves. Afterwards, a young lady dressed as a witch crash landed next to Big patting him on the back. This startled Froggy and caused the poor amphibian to fall over on its back from the impact of the witch's crash. Big responded to the sudden entrance and was impressed with the costume. "Nice choice of costume! Let me guess...are you a janitor? I figured with the broom and all, you know...or is that a mop? Hmm. I like it!" As many should know by now, Big wasn't very bright.

As the party raged on and started to become more of a hit with more showing up, an unexpected guest arrives suddenly materializing in the middle of the room in a plume of purple smoke which turned into a tornado just as it had appeared causing the DJ to suddenly cut the music in shock and everyone to turn their attention to the sudden vortex followed by a creepy laugh....

"MWAHAHAHA! Have no fear, your PUMPKIN KING is here!"



The tornado reveals Jack The Pumpkin King at the top of the wind vortex which doubled in size and stature as he showed himself ever so carefully balancing on the wind's gales and holding a colorful wand in hand. "It makes me so jovial to see so many of you celebrating my FAVORITE time of the YEAR! And as my thanks, I have hidden a very special friend of mine SOMEWHERE in this lobby! His name is Bongo the Halloweiner dog!"



"If you find him, YOU WILL GET A PRIZE! MWAHAHAHA!" He coughs randomly gagging on his own spit and keeps going. "Excuse me. Anyway, in good spirit and good faith; in me ofcourse, I am automagically giving you all consolation prizes in case you don't find my beloved doggo and to help motivate you for reaping the bigger reward when you do! So, enjoy the party and HAPPY HUNT...I mean, HAUNTING! MWAHAHA!" He waves his wand majestically and several Bags of Halloween Candy randomly appear from thin air and fall into people's hands. "Enjoy the goodies, and I so look forward to the costume contest later on! TA TA!" He winks and falls back into his tornado which, after a few moments, implodes into itself.

In a spectacle appearance, Jack has gifted every party guest a Bag of Halloween Candy!

Just as it says, bags of Halloween treats! Each bag has 20 pieces of candy that restore 5% health each! Eat them one at a time or scarf them down all at once as a single action! The choice is yours.

A scrumptious treat for this time of year and useful in a pinch when health is low or appetite comes knocking! And once more, thanks to Jack gracing everyone with his presence at this party, he has launched a scavenger hunt for his Halloweiner dog Bongo!

In order to find Bongo, you must make an INT roll of 20! Modifiers are allowed. And the first person to find Bongo gets a prize from Jack! Limit, 1 roll allowed per post! Happy haunt hunting!

As Pertisia made her way over to Big, Madotsuki and Sam took the time to admire the newer arrivals such as Shantae, Captain Falcon, Lusamine and, Game and Watch, who the girls haven't noticed yet, as they were more focused on Captain Falcon and Lusamine's costumes. While Sam silently watched the two talk, Madotsuki decided to talk to Lusamine.

"Wasn't that Celebration of Life thing the biggest event of the year." Madotsuki was also curious as to who Lusamine was dressed up as, as she didn't know that much about Cynthia to know that Lusamine had dressed up as her. Although she did guess that it was something related to her world at least, likely someone famous.

However the three girls stopped what they were doing as Jack the Pumpkin King had arrived at the party, to inform them of a scavenger hunt for his pet dog, right after giving everyone a bag of candy.

"Ooh, my luck's finally paid off and this time it didn't have anything to do with candy." Pertisia grabbed her bag, before a crowd of people quickly pushed her out of the party before she could talk to Big, so they can begin the scavenger hunt. Madotsuki and Sam watched this, but didn't do anything to help Pertisia's predicament. 

"Hey, what are you doing, stop, move!" Pertisia shouted as she was pushed out of the area, while Sam admired her bag of candy.

"I hope none of these are candy corn. One time it welded my mouth shut." Granted the corn in question was months old.

"I'll probably stay here, scavenger hunts sound boring."

"Yeah me too." However that soon changed when they saw Mr Game and Watch's costume, and his attempts to speak like a human. It disturbed even the more fearless girls like Madotsuki and Sam, who put their food away, and they seen tons of messed up stuff in their lives.

"On second though. I'm going to look for that dog."

"Same." The girls quickly left to begin the scavenger hunt for Bongo.

[Pokémon Trainer Lillie]

“...Hey Mom~!”

Lillie had caught sight of her mother looking ... shall we say discreetly displeased? She was well-tuned to recognizing that look, and it wasn't a wonder why. She was standing all alone! She understood her mother well enough to intuit what was wrong without needing to ask. It was a party, and she deserved attention. Wasn't it obvious??

Lillie approached Lusamine with Nebby Jr., her cosmog, at her side and performed a little curtsey for her, modeling her outfit a bit in an approval seeking manner. It was a compromise between the immature fun of dressing up as a monster and the refinement of proper fashion, a fairly pretty dress that mirrored the night-time aurora of cosmog's own body, displaying a pattern of stars on it. It was discreet enough to pass as normal fashion instead of a halloween costume. It was, by any standard, a very pretty mini dress. However in a world of magic, it had missed a clear opportunity to be much better. A simple illusory spell could've made the stars come alive and twinkle, or make the aurora colors slowly shift and wane across the fabric, mirroring the movements of clouds. Sadly, she had no such ability to procure even such basic spells to enhance the outfits appearance.

...Hey where'd she gotten it anyway?? Ah well.

“Mind if I hang out here with you for a while?” Lillie went on to ask. She had silently resolved to hang around just so her mother didn't feel completely alone until/if others arrived. If once they did she wasn't wanted anymore, she could wander off and socialize a bit elsewhere. She was a bit too squeamish about shared drinks for the punch bowl, and she liked to hope it would make her mother's night just a little better...

She wound up idly staring at the frog in a dog costume after a moment as it caught her eye. Was it a frog in a dog costume, or a dog in a frog costume? ...A dog costume wearing a frog? Her chest tightened with anxiety at the thought.

"I'm dressed up as a Witch for Halloween, Big; not a janitor." Shantae would say, as she tried to look for Jack's dog, and failed the INT ROLL with spectacular grace.  Oh well, better luck next time with the mind...  At least she got some candy out of meeting Jack for the first time.1d20+1

[Mr. Game & Watch]

The goal was set, and thus the match commenced. Captain Falcon reached the punch bowl and there was zero property damage in between. Victoriously, he fist-pumped. The challenge now, getting the punch into a cup with what little vision he had. Gingerly, he lowered himself toward the punch bowl, allowing his other senses to guide him. It was working quite well for him, actually. His hand was just about to grip the end of the spoon before suddenly a villainous laugh echoed through the hall. He knew it! He should have called in the entire Toad Force to guard this party! Will they ever learn that the Life Sphere can’t have a celebration without some nefarious villain barging in!?

Without any hesitation, Captain Falcon turned himself about, fists flaming with righteous fury. “Hoooyah! Not this time!” he proclaimed with divine justice. He attempted to run at the sound of the Pumpkin King’s voice, but unknowingly to him, his belt got snagged on the table cloth. As soon as he got at least a meter in distance, he was yanked back, crashing into the table. The table burst into splinters, causing the punch bowl to launch into the air, flipping and spinning until it landed squarely over Captain Falcon’s head, drenching him in the liquid.

Underneath the mask, he could be heard slurping up some of the punch dripping through. “CH’YES! That’s good PAUNCH!” he exclaimed with a enthusiastic thumbs up. Without a doubt behind that mask Captain Falcon was wearing his trademark crystal white grin.

Lusamine absently watched as Captain Falcon continued to make a fool of himself, shaking her head light as the punch bowl landed on top of his head. Perhaps she was lucky that this party turned out to be such a sham, the police chief alone would be plummeting her company’s approval rating.

As she thought of ways to discreetly leave without making a scene, she was approached by a small girl whose attire more closely matched a beach bum than anything that Lusamine could recognize. Truly, that was a horrifying thing to dress up as, so it would make sense. It seemed she felt the need to correct her on the comment she made to Captain Falcon when entering the party. She was surprised that anyone could have heard her over the trite and hokey music that was being blared over the sound system.

Lusamine tilted her head. “Oh yes, how could I possibly forget about that colossal disappointment. Seems to be in fashion this year” she replied in an elegant sort of coldness.

Right on cue with the topic at hand, who else would find themselves at this party than her estranged daughter. Upon seeing her, the edge of Lusamine’s mouth curved upward, a bare minimum smile considering that she wasn’t exactly in the mood for pleasantries. She turned a critical eye to what Lillie was wearing. It was quite the flashy dress, she had to admit, if not a bit gaudy. Colours were meant to be accents, not the main body of a dress. “Hm. You picked that out yourself?” she asked with a neutral tone, airing on the side of curiosity.

When her eyes fell upon the Cosmog though, they glowed a bit. Her unmoving, almost plastic face started to emote a bit more, a more pleasant smile approaching her lips. She rubbed the back of her ear and looked down at Lillie once more. “But of course! Between everything going on around here, we don’t get much time to talk, the two of us. None of your friends wanted to come tonight?” Lusamine spoke with a pleasantness to her tone, her question sounding like a concerned mother consolidating her daughter.

Tough crowd. Seemed like the costume wasn’t really taking. Or maybe Mr. Game & Watch needed to work on his chill party dude speech pattern. Regardless, it seemed the party was more than just idle chitchat and awkward huddles between light acquaintances, no, a spiritual pumpkin headed man sprung forth with his spooky persona, yet somehow people seemed to be less disturbed by him than G&W.

The name of the game was finding the Halloween themed dog, and gosh darn it, if Mr. Game & Watch wanted to fit in, he was going to have to find that dog! The gaggle of girls rushed off to try their hands at seeking out the pupper, so Mr. Game & Watch followed closely behind, exaggeratingly jogging like a regular man! “Way-tup, hoo-mauns! I vill heel-lup ewe fie-end dawg! We spill-ette pry-zee ma-bee?” he asked with a shrug, his southern accent somehow morphing into a Russian one through the span of speaking.

He hobbled along, his googly eyes flopping every which way, so who knows if he could see anything, let alone the dog he was sent to find.

The party had a surprise visit from a pumpkin headed candy bearer that also seemed to possess magic powers. Big certainly wasn't complaining about it at all, if anything, it made the party more fun and exciting, no party poopers here! "WOAH! COOL!" Big clapped at the spectacle that the supposed Pumpkin King left as an impression on everyone and picked up a bag of candy that the magical vegetable left the sonic costume wearing feline and his dog/frog partner. Big handed the candy to Froggy with a smile. "Want some buddy?" Froggy sniffed at it then promptly denied it having no interest in the candy; perhaps if it had flies or something in it then maybe Froggy would see the light. Big then turns his gaze to a young woman that just entered the party who seemed to have a certain energy about her of the cosmic kind. He stared at her a moment as she approached another lady that may have been her mother and felt somewhat mystified by her demeanor, though he quickly adjusted himself catching his impolite staring towards her and caught eyes with her just for a moment as she curiously stared at Froggy and his clever dog frog costume.

Big crouches down towards Froggy and whispers praise to his friend. "I think your costume is gonna win for sure at this point. People seem to keep staring your way. Props to you lil bud!" As he says this, he notices Captain Falcon of the Life Sphere Police making a mess of the punch causing him and Froggy to bust out in laughter. The one known as Mr. Game and Watch had an interesting very human like costume and seemed to be pulling out quite the dance moves on the floor as well as searching for the allusive halloweiner dog like the others. Big then was corrected by Shantae about her costume actually being a witch and he felt bad. He looked at her with remorse. "I am sorry I guessed wrong about your costume, it's very nice. I love the Nintendo Switch. It's great." Big smiles trying to save face about him getting the costume wrong, and Froggy does a hop with a ribbit acknowledging himself that he also thinks the costume is nice.

Big tries to quickly change the subject thinking he still isn't getting the gist of the costume like he should and to break the awkwardness. "Say, looks like nobody found the halloweiner dog yet...maybe me and Froggy should try. Wanna help us look? I saw you looking a bit earlier, wouldn't hurt to try again eh? Maybe we can find it before others do and split the reward? Who knows but it's worth a shot!" Froggy ribbits in agreement and the two begin to wander off to find the dog checking every corner of the room at their oafish pace.

Meanwhile, while Madotsuki and Sam were busy trying to find Bongo, Pertisia had managed to get out of the crowd that she was pushed away from and redid her hair before looking around. "Ugh, I'll never get to that cat at this rate, but maybe if I can find that dog. I can maybe get him to come over here so I can complain about that stupid flyer that hit my eye." At least her eye patched covered eye was recovering well anyway.

It seems as though everything always hits her right eye these days.

But, she shouldn't think about the past right now. She should focus on trying to win this Halloween hunt for that dog.

Well, Sally arrived at this party, despite that she doesn't have any friends here in this world. But it was always fun to dress up, especially as her favorite characters from her favorite novels. This year it's from a character from a certain adult cartoon she used to watch with her friends. But she does have a sweet tooth, so free candy is always a joy to have. And a little game as a bonus to help her occupy her mind? Sounds fun...if she can find the dog. "Nicole, locate a canine called Bongo."

Gruntilda's Theme

Being a witch's skull in an artificial body. She was the most Halloween person on this entire planet. And in her favorite time of year when there was a Halloween party, she found herself not invited to it. The absolute audacity of this person she doesn't know or care about. Well, suppose it's time for her to do a good old-fashioned party crash.

Bursting through the door on a broomstick she stopped it in midair as it makes a skidding sound somehow. As she then steps off the broomstick. With her, she seems to have a boombox hanging from the broomstick playing a remix of a song that plays in her vacation home Mad Monster Mansion.

"This Halloween party is no longer a drag, as now that you have this old hag!" Gruntilda announced.

She looked around and noticed the decorations were a bit lacking but admired the authenticity of real skulls being used. That is commitment right there. Not to mention, free refreshments. She look towards Shantae who wore a witch outfit. Her beautiful slim body reminded her of the one she once had long ago.

"Enjoy that body while it lasts, those calories will pile on fast," she warned Shantae.

As she was about to make her way to the table where the snacks and punch bowl is and everyone else was socializing Gruntilda turns her skull over to see the loud pumpkin-headed man declaring a scavenger hunt and giving out free candy. On the list of things Gruntilda loves besides Halloween, it's winning, especially if it means everyone else loses.

"Gruntilda has eyes like that of a hawk, I'll find this dog before you need to look at the clock!" she declared.

She then grabbed into her skull jar and pulled her eyes out of her socket, holding them in her hands as they look around in a morbid manner. Scanning the floor, walls, even ceiling to find that dog.
